What has happened? This place USED to make the best pies I have EVER eaten. Seriously superior and wonderful. Last Thanksgiving 2017 I took 4 pies to dinner with 25 people. Every bite was gone and rave reviews. They were very expensive at $20.00 a pie but worth every penny. This year 2018 I ordered 4 pies. When I walked in a different crew I had not seen before was working. The pies were still $20.00 each but what a disappointment. The pies from any QFC or FredMeyer bakery are equally as good for $5.00 as what we got this Thanksgiving. The pecan pie had very little filling, and crushed bits of nuts. Gone were the whole half nuts and lushish filling. The crust was horrible on all the pies. The chocolate cream fell in a wet mess. The dutch apple had so few apples but filled with the sugar top it was not edible. The same 25 people and we had to beg people to take the pies home. Seriously over half the pies were still there. I will never go back and I have been buying pies when they were in Buckley almost 20 years ago. read more

Walked by this shop yesterday and looked at the pies and read the positive newspaper articles posted on the wall; thought I would try it on my next trip; went back to Enumclaw today and got a slice of Key Lime Pie to go; unfortunately, when I ate the pie at home it was obvious that the pie was old; the top of the pie, including the whipped cream star, had a dry tough rubbery skin indicating that the pie had been exposed to air for several days; very disappointing that such old pie would be sold! read more

In Enumclaw, it's blasphemous to talk ill of the Pie Goddess, so I will keep this short so I have time to escape the mob. I really don't get the fuss. They use a krusteaz mix for the crust that I don't really care for and the ingredients in the fillings taste overly processed. Oh, and it's insanely expensive. They are usually pretty creative with the flavors, which I like, but it's definitely not worth the money in my opinion. Find a recipe on Allrecipes and make it. The pie is fabulous! I have tasted many different pies but her Tollhouse or Coconut Cream (if you like coconuts) are my personal sweet favorites! Sadly, Pie Goddess apparently discriminates. A prominent local family stopped yesterday for a special family outing to purchase a pie &/or some slices. They apparently have a policy of "no more than 4 slices sold from any one pie"... Is this policy posted somewhere on the premises? And they don't sell whole pies? Is this also posted anywhere? We stopped by here after dropping our daughter at camp in Greenwater. There was a large selection of pies to choose from. Blackberry. Jumbleberry. Tollhouse. Butterfinger, Peanut Butter and Jelly. Chocolate. And more. We got four slices total for the six of us. One Blackberry. One Tollhouse. One Jumbleberry and one Peanutbutterfinger crunch. They were all excellent, although it should be pointed out that the business did not tell us there were nuts in the Tollhouse pie even when we asked what the pie consisted of. The Blackberry pie was warm out of the oven and the crust was excellent. We will definitely be back. read more

this place is small and limited. I had the coconut cream pie and the butterscotch lush. I was so disappointed, the coconut pie was such a let down. coconut pie is my favorite pie. I will never get that pie again. the butterscotch was slightly better but not worth the trip or the money. I am not sure that I will ever go out of my way to go there again. read more

I'm a pie snob , I was raised on my grand mothers pies and she truly was a pie goddess. My wife is the pie queen and her crust is the best and she could give lessons to the pie goddess. The crust is the crux of the pie because it is the delivery system for the filling. The crusts get a "1" and the fillings get a "5" So that makes it a 3 rating. read more

The Pie Goddess name was intriguing enough for us to check out their products. We ordered two savories, a Chicken Pot Pie and Shepard's Pie, both about as good as it will ever taste, cooked in wine? The rating goes down, way down for the overly sweet Frango Mocha that we didn't finish it and threw the rest away. Now I wonder if the rest of their sweet dessert pies are just as overly sweetened. My wife and I stopped in here after having a late lunch. It was the first time we had ever heard of the place and the name is apt! Apt! We shared a slice of the cherry almond crunch. It was very unique. Best description I can come up with is a crumble like pie. Unlike a lot of foods labeled "crunch," it retained the crunchy top while also remaining moist. Went to the pie goddess tonight, after we had a hankering for some yummy dessert. We have been here many times, and have always been pleased with the quality and quantity of pie we have received. Unfortunately, tonight was a different story. There were two women working, who were both distant and evasive in their communication. We ordered 2 slices of pie, but the servings were extremely short coming and the taste was lacking of their usuall delicious flavorings. There was a line, which is faily typical and expected - the second woman working completely ignored the line and continued to sweep with still an hour to go before closing. Stopped by on a pregnancy craving yesterday. Picked up a gigantic slice of peanut butter pie and Chicken pot pie for dinner. So aptly named! I had the peanut butter finger pie at Jackson's down the street a while back and had to stop in to see what other goodies they have in the shop. Last night we tried the butterscotch lush and the cherry almond. They were both amazing! I was expecting the butterscotch to be overly sticky sweet but it was surprisingly light. So delicious! The cherry almond had a very tasty cinnamon sugar almond crumble on top which was really nice against the tart cherries. We will definitely be back for other tasty treats! read more
