This adorable mini-cupcake and cookie bakery is staffed by the most lovely human. A private, dirt and gravel lot has plenty of parking out front. A few tables outside are available to sit and enjoy your sweet treats. Inside are several mini-cupcakes ready to go. Orange creamsicle, lemon, several chocolate varieties, vanilla, confetti and more. Flavors change daily. Plus cookies, and tiny chocolate filled bunt cakes. They also carry a few gift items like kitchen towels. We purchased two dozen mini-cupcakes for a birthday and were shown a large menu of available flavors. We selected six different flavors that I though the birthday girl would like and boy was I right. The cupcakes are moist, lots of frosting and flavorful. Definitely a 'hit'. I saw some flavors I wanted to try during my two previous visits so we stopped in again and this time I picked four cupcakes for myself and my SO to share. First, chocolate strawberry. Wow, the fresh strawberry taste in that frosting is amazing. Next lemon meringue. I don't know how, but that frosting really does taste like lemon meringue! Absolutely love both of these flavors. Next was a mixed berry cream cheese. A mix of light summer berries inside and bold cream cheese frosting contrast. Delicious. My last of these four is the mud pie. Chocolate on chocolate, rich and decedent. I absolutely love that these little cupcakes all have bold flavors, make a nice portion for a quick treat and are not overly sweet. Think I have found another business to add to my rotation. read more

This place had me from the first smell. It was delectable! I've heard friends rave about this place but hadn't actually stopped on my own until today. You know a place is good when there are people waiting to get in as they open and no place to park except on the side of a busy highway. I got 8 cupcakes 4 for friends so I'm not sure how they tasted. However the 4 I got for my family didn't last long. We had Strawberry lemonade. 10/10. This was my favorite of the 4 we got Strawberry vanilla 9/10 this had a strawberry puree on top and then frosting Raspberry vanilla 8/10 this was good but not as good as strawberry. Creamsicle. 9/10. Take an actual creamsicle and put it in cupcake form and this is what you get. So good. For a second let's talk about their frosting. It was mild with good flavor but not so sugary sweet that you lose some of the flavor of the cupcake. Thank you I will be back soon read more

Very happy with my order of cupcakes! It was the perfect dessert for my twin's 1st bday party. Guests loved the flavor of the frosting and cupcakes. I can also confirm that the flavor of frosting and cupcakes were 10/10. I ordered a nice variety of flavors too. We just added cupcake decor to go with the Space theme. Will definitely order again. Thank you for great service as well. read more

Today I picked up a cake for my daughter's 3rd birthday. This is the second time we have trusted Gracene's for our birthday treats and they deliver! Their cupcakes and cakes are so delicious, and they do beautiful work. Here is the strawberry cake with strawberry frosting my daughter requested for her 3rd birthday, she was thrilled when she saw it. I will always pay a little more for quality like this, and to support a small business. Highly recommend. read more

I finally made it to the shop. I get to eat the cupcake and cookies for sometime now but I never been to the shop. I like the of the cookies flavor, chocolate chips, butter scotch, and many more. Their cupcakes are not overly sweet to me. I like the cream on the top, they are flavorful. I tired cotton candy, different colors have different flavor. read more

We just moved to the area and I was wanting something sweet for a friends birthday but I didn't want to get some thing just from the supermarket. We got these amazing small cupcakes which are perfect for the day before Thanksgiving. We all were able to enjoy a little small treat before the Thanksgiving festivities. We tried the German chocolate cake which is very good. I am so stupid I didn't realize they have coconut on them; which my husband does not like but I absolutely loved them! They were really good and the frosting was really rich. I also got the snickerdoodles which were so good again the icing is so bomb but the cake is so moist like it's amazing how rich and fluffy and dense and goodness all these things hide in one small bite. The last one I tried was a raspberry vanilla cake cupcake and that was my favorite but I love anything that has like a fresh compote or fresh fruit component to it. The icing was perfect fluffy yet smooth no graininess it just was a really awesome tasty bite. Here's why I'm giving them a four and not a five. I will say that I love/hate the size of the cupcakes. They are tiny they are a little mini cupcakes. It is really awesome because if you like on a diet you can just have one and you know how to feel guilty or anything like that. However I do feel like the cake to cupcake great she was off because I found that when I was eating these cupcakes the top so just fall off and then it was also just really hard to eat the cake because it was just an overwhelming amount of icing. I don't particularly love icing it's not my thing I prefer more cake to icing so I'd be really interested to see if they did a full size cupcake with half the amount of icing to see what that ratio would really taste like and I think it might actually come out more balanced because the icing is a tad sweet in my opinion. Especially when there isn't a whole lot of cake to kind of come back that sweetness. Overall a really true tasty bite here in the area local business you got a check them out if you have an already I assume their flavors rotate but again they all have these really creative takes on chocolate and vanilla which makes this a really fun spot to go in at $11 for six minis it wasn't too terrible especially when you're talking about the city prices they definitely compare in terms of grabbing a sweet treat without hurting the wallet too much. read more

I needed desserts for a last minute Halloween event and was able to quickly and easily place an order for pick up within days! I also ordered a 3inch cake to celebrate my dog's birthday (cake was for the humans). I liked the convenience of their online ordering system and picking up was a breeze! Their shop was clean & the desserts on display were nicely done. There was a small misunderstanding on what was online vs picked up due to a typo but they quickly fixed that for me by offering a make good. Great customer service and would def order again! read more

After a hike, my family and I were looking for a sweet treat so we decided to stop in. I wish we hadn't. We were met with rudeness and pure irritation that we were there. Only a handful of cupcakes had their flavors labeled. Naturally, I asked what some of the flavors were. The woman who was helping me responded with annoyance that I didn't know what the flavors were. Not wanting to subject myself to a longer interaction with her, I hurried and picked a lemon raspberry. 2 stars because the cupcakes were just okay but my kids seemed to enjoy them. This is only the second negative review I have ever written. I was so shocked that such an adorable place could have the most horrible customer service. I felt compelled to share my experience. read more

I wish I took pictures but our baby shower was so busy I barely had time to breathe. The first time I had Gracene's cupcakes were at my cousin's wedding. When it came down to deciding where I wanted my desserts from, I had no doubt it needed to be Gracene's. Not only were they accommodating with an earlier pick up time the day of the shower, but the cupcakes were just as delicious as I remembered. I couldn't rave anymore about the quality, taste and service!! Will ALWAYS come back not only for special occasions but for our sweet treat fixes! read more

The cinnamon rolls are excellent, tremendous and decadent! Huge, creamy soft buttery flavor. Oh and these boys are big! WOW! Largest selection of mini cupcakes I have ever seen. Blake was super friendly, helpful, and was enthusiastically proud that it is a family affair. The pride showed in the superb detail of each cupcake. I purchased 8 varieties (total of 24)...when I took them to an event in Covington people instantly raved about their past visits to Gracene's, including one person that recently had Gracene provide her wedding cake/cupcake display. I will be back - my favorite was the lemon meringue...and who can feel guilty about a mini? read more

I ordered a cake for our daughter's birthday keep in mind we have ordered several cakes before. Simple cake other than the cake to be decorated. Confetti with raspberry filling and buttercream frosting. Have ordered similar cakes in past. Picked up Saturday and party was on Sunday afternoon. The cake was beautiful decorated yes but cutting into it was another story. It was completely a soggy mess in the center and looked like all the filling was stuffed in the middle which came oozing out. spending $100 on a cake in this shape and serving it to guest was a disappointment for sure. Reached out to the business, in person, by phone and via text with pictures. With a response of offering me a dozen cupcakes (which are delicious by the way) and a $20 credit is a slap in the face. We will definitely NOT be doing anymore business again. Hopefully the new owners will figure things out! read more

Found a new cupcake place!! I travel for pretty cupcakes! What I love about Gracene's is that they only have 1 size and it's the mini cupcake. Also, their cupcakes are different from others, how? BOTH the cake and the frosting have flavor. My usual go to place for cupcakes were delicious but I felt like the cake tasted the same and the frosting was where the flavor was, but not here!! I am really excited to try all their flavors. I did half a dozen today. read more

Even in the midst of the quarantine Gracies has done a good job of keeping up with the demand and offering lots of flavors for everyone to choose from. You could do curbside and touchless delivery to your car or you can go in and grab takeout. Very fresh, fun flavors, cute little business, I'm happy to support local and help other families. Way to go Gracenes! I'm sad that I've lived in Maple Valley for 3 and it took the quarantine for me to try this place. I will be a customer for life after that mini cupcake order we got! when you go inside to order and you also have fun little boutique style gifts to choose from as well. Very cute find when we were out in this area to hike the gnome trail with our son. I searched online to find an ice cream shop and this place came up. Ice cream selection was about 10 varieties if I recall correctly. The cupcakes are mini size and all delicious. We also got a few other miscellaneous varieties of treats. It is more expensive than going to say, a chain bakery, but worth it! Prices seemed in line with another small bakery located closer to me. Friendly staff and easy checkout process. read more

Amazing cupcakes, super moist, very flavorful & the perfect little serving size. But my biggest compliment is Gracene's customer service, my friends wedding was this past weekend & Gracene delivered, set up & arranged a variety of cupcakes & a small wedding cake beautifully which was fabulous on its own, but....... an 1.5hours before the ceremony one of the caterers bumped the cake table & the wedding cake toppled. This is the kind of place you think about a lot or just crave all the time, my mil has celiacs so we get the gluten free you have to order a day in advance but my goodness they are delicious. We have tried a lot of the other cupcakes & have yet to try one that wasn't delicious. When we first started coming here the size was questionable but me & my husband share with our daughter too & you can get a good 4 bites out of them you don't have to have a huge muffin to really enjoy the wonderful flavors put together or over do it. I love this place I hate that it's so good. Really amazing cupcakes Gracene knows what she's doing. Great staff too they're always so sweet fit for the job. read more
