Failed to say anything until after she gave me two samples. Showed up on June 13, 2024, at 840pm and 20 people were in line. Line was not moving. Ridiculously managed.

Its normally amazing ice cream but customer service is a part of that. When we pulled up to the store at 9:28pm on a Saturday, the 3 girls inside told us they were closed because it was apparent that one of their boyfriends were outside waiting.. The lights and everything was on and all they just said was "sorry we're closed." On weekends they're open till 10:00pm. It even said so on the door/website... We just took our business to Baskin Robins instead. They gladly took our order and stayed up to business expectations. It was just rude honestly. If they pull the same thing, go to the baskin robins across the street by the Fred Meyer... At least you'll know for sure they close at mentioned store hours. read more

I usually come here when I need my chocolate fix. It is located in a beautiful shopping center next to a wonderful Thai place. Thai then ice cream! Everyone is so nice. If you want to sample any ice cream just ask, they have no problem doing so. The choices are endless, anything you love they have. I tend to stick to my favorite I made up and you should go and make your signature ice cream fave! Super clean, front row parking, and fast service. They have seating inside as well. Something has changed with the ice cream quantity. We normally order through Uber eats these days, we split ice cream up with our large family. The last 3-4 times the ice cream is barley level with the bowl. What is the point of the bubble lids?? I did call to talk to the manager because this ice cream is expensive, they are now weighing ice cream. Again why do they have these obnoxious bubble lids?? My husband loves Cold Stone Ice Cream. Usually he patronizes the Factoria location but he was near Covington and stopped in to order quarts of ice cream for a special occasion. The girl at the counter said she had no lids for the quart size and apologized. She had notified her management several times the need for quart lids but to no avail. I am surprised. One would think management would rather sell quarts of ice cream rather than the smaller containers...they are losing sales. This place is absolutely filthy. We used to go here quite often and it was fine but now it's an absolute mess and dirty. The ice cream freezer has been broken for quite some time which I have no problem with. The issue is that it smells like sour rotten milk the minute you walk in. Almost glad I have to wear a mask . And to make matters worse I ordered the medium cup which I paid almost $9 for and it was a little more than half full. I had to say something. The kid working said they just had a meeting and were told by management that they should be able to see a hole to the bottom otherwise they are too full. Really! The so called manager, as he claimed to be, did not greet my mom and I upon arrival, was snapping and being condescending to my mom who wasn't sure on how to order her ice cream. I called for help, and waited... no one came out for about five minutes. The employee explained that the dishwasher was very loud and she doesn't always hear the cow bell when guests arrive. Understandable, (but maybe management should come up with an alternative?!) we went ahead with my order. I ordered a small size coffee ice cream with Oreo and Heath. I was pretty disappointed once I got it home. Melted ice cream was spilling out of the stuffed container, and it had very few toppings in it. Granted, it was only five dollars, but I still feel like I was gypped. I hardly ever stop for ice cream... This should have been a special treat. We like to go to Cold Stone because of flavors and variety and instead getting a half gallon from the store-you get your one serving fix. So this what we attempted to do on Saturday evening. I ordered a Like it Size in a chocolate dipped waffle cone with 2 mix ins. The clerk scooped out the ice cream-puts it on the refrigerated counter-then tells me we don't have the chocolate dipped waffle cones. Shouldn't he have told me this before he scooped out the ice cream?? I told him I didn't want it then-the most amazing part-he put it back!!! Just WOW-makes me not going back!!! read more

This place is either going out of business soon or it's being mis-managed by somebody who has no idea what they're doing. It's pretty dirty and beat-up. One side of the ice-cream making area is nothing but paper and debris now. When it first opened it was fun, the quality of the ice cream was awesome, and the inside was fun and inviting. I looked inside the cake cooler and several of them had obviously been in there for quite a while. One even appeared as though it had melted at one point. . . the decorations were slipping off the top of the cake. So sad. . . but we won't go here again. read more
