1/2/2018 A piano was my first purchase of the year! I purchased a small walnut console piano (40") from a family. No stairs or turns required in the move. I first contacted them at 10am and had them scheduled by 10:30 to come at 12:30pm. Fantastic, FAST service! I arrived maybe five minutes after them to the pick up location and they had the piano fully wrapped and packed into the truck already. The truck had side padding built in(ideal for moves for expensive furniture) and they wrapped it in a moving blanket. They had a platform dolly to wheel it in and out of the truck. They also padded some styrofoam once in the truck to protect the edges. Thoroughly impressed and happy with the service provided. Thank you piano wranglers!! Pros - on time, efficient, friendly, good price, and most of all SO helpful. They even helped us move a few extra pieces of furniture into our truck because our other movers fell through last minute. At 8:00 AM on Saturday I found out I had to get a piano moved right away (like TODAY). I did a google search for piano moves in Austin and found The Piano Wrangler. After reading other Yelp reviews I decided to give them a try. Looked at the web site and it said it was better to text or email so I texted about 9:45 AM. Got a reply within seconds (literally). After a brief texting conversation where I gave my name and address for pick-up and destination I was told they could come out between 1:00-3:00... are you kidding? SAME DAY? Oh yes! I fully expected to be told it would be next week. I was also told the range of what it would cost, $135 to $180, which was exactly what was posted on their website, and one of the reasons I wanted to give them a try. I thought it seemed like a very fair price for a same day move. Now I have no idea what others charge as I didn't look past this place but I fully expected to pay $400, which is what I had been quoted about a year ago. Final price $160 I was super pleased! They picked the piano up at 1:45 and by 2:30 it was delivered and they were gone. Exceptional service! When they arrived and peeked inside the truck to see how the piano was secured. It had tie downs that secured it to the inside of the truck with padding at the spots where the tie downs pressed against the piano and was secured in spots that wouldn't put stress on the legs. Now it had to be moved into the house through trees and over grass, and up a step that is about 8 inches high and when I asked if that would be hard they said "NO PROBLEM" and it wasn't. Once in place, they put the little things that help you scoot something across the floor so if it needed to be moved to another spot it would be easy to do without messing up the hardwood floor. Nice touch! Jason was the person that I texted to set this up and he was amazing. Very clear communication and super nice. Didn't get the names of the guys that did the delivery but they were equally amazing. One of the guys played a little tune after the piano was in place to make sure everything was OK. That was fun! And he said "needs to be tuned" and it was nice to hear that the mover knew that it was out of tune LOL. Made me feel like he really cared about this precious cargo. I don't write reviews because I am just too busy but this was just about the best service I have ever had. These guys turned my VERY stressed out morning into a relaxed afternoon. Super service... super nice = REVIEW ON YELP! If I could give 10 stars I would. Highly recommend these guys. Will for SURE use them again... next move will be to Houston!
