After a few minutes trying to figure out what would work best with my schedule, Dr. Knight asked for me to call her back. I call her back and i took one of the times she offered me . Oh yes, the receptionist was Dr. knight herself. About an hour later i get a txt on my cell from Dr. Knight to tell me that someone booked 3 colonic sessions online for the next 3 weeks at the times she offered me. Most unprofessional scheduling. I told my bf to get his money back and forget about this place! Well a week later the actual Receptionist calls me while I'm at work and left me a voice mail. I couldn't help but laugh at how horrible that voice mail was. I could barely understand the lady because of how loud the back round music was. She was very muffled. I thought it was some sort of joke. Well I finally decided to give them a try. I booked online and this time they actually confirmed my appointment. Not only they did call me to confirm my appointment time. They emailed me AND texted me. So here comes Saturday. It's 10:03am..:appointment time is 10am.... door is locked. We knock... nothing. We stand outside in the cold for about 10 minutes waiting to see if anyone would come out, Nothing! We finally decided to leave at 10:25am! NEVER AGAIN! We will be getting our money back!

Overall, I think this is a great at-home option when you want a restorative massage without going too far out of your way (or time is limited). Spas where you can pass a leisurely few hours are their own level of indulgence, but this is an excellent choice for an on-the-go person in need of some quality R&R!

The check-in and retail area is bright and well-curated. Kinh was the attendant and she was wonderful. I checked in and then went into the tea lounge for relaxation. Kinh then took myself and another guest to the spa area. The spa amenities are downstairs, but treatment rooms are both upstairs and downstairs. The elevator is located in the main hotel so if you need to use it, you must leave the spa. The locker room is fine. There are a few showers, plus some vanities and toiletries. There is not a swimsuit spinner and there should be one. What is really nice about this spa is the vitality pool. For amenities, they have a steam room, sauna, vitality pool, and relaxation lounge. The vitality pool is the biggest part of a spa experience for me, and many spas in this area do not offer that. The one here is sparkling clean and warm. And I went early enough that I had it to myself, which was even better. Sauna and steam room were lovely and I appreciate the eucalyptus cooling towels. The relaxation lounge is great. The snacks are not. The offerings are fresh fruit, pretzels, mixed nuts, and wasabi peas, along with spa water and two types of tea. The pretzels were stale. I recommend a snack mix, a trail mix, and maybe something sweet along with fruit and beverages. I've had much better spa snacks. I inadvertently booked a facial without extractions, which is honestly pointless. However, it was very relaxing, and I did feel myself starting to fall asleep a few times, and since I was visiting for relaxation, I didn't mind. I would never book it again though and my skin didn't look all that great after. The spa lacks the elegance and ritual that was included when it was Mandarin Oriental. I was really trying not to compare, but it's hard. Even arrival was a downgraded experience because none of the doormen assisted with exiting the car (same upon leaving). The website is atrocious and they should be embarrassed by it. Still, I'd return for a treatment that I was really looking forward and has value, with hopes that some improvements have been made.

While I was walking down the street to see if there were any other nail spots on the block still open, I stumbled upon Prada, opting for a foot massage instead. I walked down the stairs into a dark space and was quickly greeted. I opted for a 30 minute foot massage for $40. They ask that you pay first before taking you to a big comfy chair in the next room. The foot massage itself was pretty good but they smell in the space reminded me a bit of basement mildew and remained consistently top of mind while getting the massage. But the woman that did the massage was so nice! If you're looking for a quick and easy foot massage it will do the trick, but just don't expect spa-like esthetics.

My husband called up and made two appointsment one for each of us, they said the only time they could accommodate us back to back would be at 5:00 pm. At 3:30 we called to confirm and they confirmed both appointments. At 4:44 we parked out front, the meter was broken so I called it into DC and received a text back. We went into the salon, they brought us downstairs, we filled out our paper work. At that point the therapist came out and said she could only do one of us or both for 30 minutes each since they were now closing at 6 or we could just come back another time. We went back and forth, they refused to refund us (she kept saying Amazon had to refund us, I explained to her that Amazon is a marketplace that the salon has our money) and so I sent my husband in to do the one hour and would deal with the other issue at a later time. By now, it is a few minutes before 5 (our original appointment time). At 5:15 a young man showed up for his 5:15, the receptionist knocks and the therapist comes out and tells him to sit as she will only be a few more minutes. The receptionist leaves to go to Starbucks, and does not come back. At around 5:30, I told him she was doing a one-hour massage that started around 5. He said he could not wait and left. At 5:37 she comes out to take the 5:15 appointment and said she was finished with the massage. I told her it was a one-hour and she wasn't even in for 40 minutes. She told me she started just after 4:30, which I told her was not accurate and showed her the parking text (4:44pm outside the salon), and the text was before the paperwork and back and forth on scheduling and refunds. She went back in for a few more minutes finally coming out at 4:47, still not an hour massage and with two interruptions, but at that point it was futile. Now, there is another man who says he has a 6pm appointment and the receptionist is still not back from Starbucks. At that point we left. My husband said the massage was marginal and she clearly rushed through it. So now we were ripped off, and left with a worthless pre-paid second massage. We will also complain to Amazon.
