    Breakfast sandwich
    Brooke C.

My breakfast here was really great! There was about a thirty minute wait but we walked down the block to Annie's to get a coffee while we waited. Once we were seated, service was pretty fast. I got an egg avocado and cheese breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel. It was so good!! The egg was perfectly fried with a runny yolk. I would definitely go back for this breakfast sandwich

Solid brunch with a lively scene. Kid friendly and dog friendly as an added bonus. Getting there early on a Saturday is key. At 10 am we were seated immediately. 30 min later a small line started forming. Food did take a bit to come out because they had a lot of delivery and takeout orders coming in. It was surprisingly friendly - we were offered crayons and bendy sticks to play with along with a kids water without even needing to ask. Standard lunch kid food options for brunch. There is a nice outdoor seating area with a few tables where a few folks had brought their dog. The strawberry pancakes were addicting. I could have eaten 3 plates of them. Highly recommend. The heuvos rancheros was ok. Warning the salsa is very spicy.

Fresh Caramel and Banana French Toast

The Paramount is more of a traditional brunch restaurant that serves brunch every day. Menu isn't too crazy but not too basic. I ordered a Ham, Egg and Cheese on a bagel. My friend and I split the Caramel and Banana French Toast. Sandwich was loaded with every ingredient and very filling. The french toast was a great sweet treat. Service was very nice! Overall, I prefer more unique brunch dishes but I would tell my friends to visit for a nice, simple breakfast :)

Cinnamon swirl French toast with apple wood bacon

The food was delicious! We dined there for brunch and had a great time. I ordered the cinnamon swirl French toast and boy were they moist, buttery and the right amount of sweet. I had a side of applewood bacon and ordered a mimosa flight. The flight was delicious. The peach flavor was my favorite. The restaurant was not too loud so we were able to talk which was nice. There was about a 25 minute wait after we added our names to the list which wasn't bad. The service was quick and they were nice. We took an Uber there because parking in southie can be tough and expensive. 10000% recommend.

Skills with the chalk drawings. - A woman wearing a black uniform and face mask is working behind the counter at The Paramount restaurant in Boston. The background features a large chalkboard menu with colorful illustrations and text advertising fresh orange juice, lemonade, and burritos. Several bottles of wine are lined up on a shelf, and coffee machines are visible on the counter. The setting appears to be a casual dining establishment with indoor seating.

I think the most amazing part of this place is that they serve brunch all day 7 days a week. However, this visit I came for the burger. There is two hour parking on the street. Spots can be hard to find so plan accordingly. There are some who would double park (I saw guys in pickups get away with doing that) but I don't have that kind of privilege. There is still limited capacity and the high top seating is limited. I visited with a friend for lunch (early cheat day treat...I admit that I might need to redefine my application of cheat day). We both ordered the Paramount burger with Parmesan truffle fries. My brioche bun was toasted perfectly and the burger patty was SEASONED. I was pleasantly surprised at this. The toppings were fresh and the pickles were a perfect balance of sweet and tart (I got extra on the side). The fries were a little soggy and lacking in Parmesan flavor. Customer service was great. My friend is a frequent customer and she was greeted and asked after by her usual server. It was like a "Cheers" moment at the Paramount. I would definitely return.

We ordered two sandwiches exactly how they prepare without substitutions. The name of the second sandwich is escaping me. Another fantastic sandwich. And, cheap for what they give you! It's as though I'm on the set of a movie as local shoppers briskly enter the shop & point to which hanging salamis and hand-shaped pastas they want to take home. Due to a condition (living in Tennessee), I'm only able to have the chicken Parmesan sandwich here about once a year. It's a sandwich I reminisce about with my family and work into conversations with friends and strangers alike. The bread is fresh and chewy, the sauce bright and acidic, and the chicken lightly breaded, perfectly fried, and tender. You can taste each ingredient in every bite. Every element is perfectly executed in its own right, yet somehow made even better in harmony. Recently while devouring my third of the massive sandwich, a little chicken cutlet tumbled to the ground. I'm talking: the GROUND. Outside. Pavement. When no one was looking, I slyly dipped down, picked it up, and ate it. I'm not necessarily proud of this action, but I'm also not ashamed. If you didn't believe the 5 Second Rule before Bricco, let the chicken Parmesan sandwich convert you. Taste and see!

The bakery is cash only and sells a variety of breads: baguettes, ciabatta, sourdough, & olive bread. In addition to the sfogliatelle, they sell muffins, croissants, and focaccia and muffins. The sfogliatelle was pretty good, the pastry was crispy and flaky and the lemon ricotta filling was very rich and creamy.
