At 10 am we were seated immediately. 30 min later a small line started forming. Food did take a bit to come out because they had a lot of delivery and takeout orders coming in. It was surprisingly friendly - we were offered crayons and bendy sticks to play with along with a kids water without even needing to ask. Standard lunch kid food options for brunch. There is a nice outdoor seating area with a few tables where a few folks had brought their dog. The strawberry pancakes were addicting. I could have eaten 3 plates of them. Highly recommend. I ordered two items for delivery via DoorDash. I ordered a Reuben & a BBQ Chicken Chopped Salad. My order arrives and it's not my order. My name isn't Lauren. I used DoorDash, not Uber Eats. The restaurant mixed up orders and gave my DoorDash driver an Uber Eats order! I called the restaurant and they acknowledged my order was still there. I asked for a refund or re-delivery. I figured this was a very reasonable request. I was wrong! I was informed it was not their problem and there would be no refund. I did get my money back from DoorDash. I placed another order so I wouldn't have to skip dinner. They could've cared less about the issue. I did let them know I'd leave a one star review. They could've cared less. I think the most amazing part of this place is that they serve brunch all day 7 days a week. However, this visit I came for the burger. There is two hour parking on the street. Spots can be hard to find so plan accordingly. There are some who would double park (I saw guys in pickups get away with doing that) but I don't have that kind of privilege. There is still limited capacity and the high top seating is limited. I visited with a friend for lunch (early cheat day treat...I admit that I might need to redefine my application of cheat day). We both ordered the Paramount burger with Parmesan truffle fries. My brioche bun was toasted perfectly and the burger patty was SEASONED. I was pleasantly surprised at this. The toppings were fresh and the pickles were a perfect balance of sweet and tart (I got extra on the side). The fries were a little soggy and lacking in Parmesan flavor. Customer service was great. My friend is a frequent customer and she was greeted and asked after by her usual server. It was like a "Cheers" moment at the Paramount. I would definitely return. read more

Visited last week with my father for lunch. Previously had breakfast at The Paramount (which was delicious), however this place is usually jam packed on the weekends as the place is relatively small with roughly 15-20 tables in total. Restaurant is diner style, order first then sit down at a table. Last Thursday for lunch, it was very empty. Many food selections, ranging from all-day breakfast (with pancakes, waffles, breakfast sandwiches, bagels and muffins) to a wide variety of lunch options from wraps, burgers, bowls, etc. plenty to choose from. Dad went with the chicken wrap, said it was delicious. Also enjoyed the sweet potato fries they had as a side option. I had the Paramount burger, add bacon. Although slightly under cooked, burger was full of flavor and fries were equally as good. Atmosphere is certainly a positive and food came out quick! 5/5 stars, will return, one of the better breakfast / lunch places in Southie. read more

Another Paramount location if you're familiar with the Beacon Hill location! This one still had a bit of a line for the food, but we came around noon on a Sunday so totally expected. Much less of a wait and bigger space than the one in Beacon Hill though. Portions are huge, so $12 for a giant omelette, toast, and home fries is awesome. It's 9pm and I'm still not hungry lol. We did split the caramel and banana french toast so went a little overboard, but it was definitely worth the food coma that hit us right after. If you're unfamiliar with their policy, there are no reservations or waiting at tables prior to ordering your food. They have a policy that you can't save tables but turns out even though it was busy we didn't have any issues. The Paramount is a trendy, upscale diner with extremely accommodating workers. We got a Paramount Burger, Fried Calamari, and the Rice/Chick Pea/CheeseBall (forgot the name). The food did not particularly stand out to me, but the waitress knew we were splitting it between two people and cut the burger in half and gave us two separate plates with the half burgers, fries, and toppings.
