    Crispy Chicken Tenders and fries

It was alright. (+) Located inside a 5 star hotel. The hotel lobby was especially nice with plenty of seating and a pleasant smell (+) The food was alright, the grilled broccolini was my favorite. The chicken was delicious. Other than that, nothing really stood out. (-) The bathroom was located downstairs in the basement, outside the hotel. If you have children, it can be quite annoying. (-) Bringing a cake will cost you $45 to serve. (-) We were seated near their kitchen, the seats weren't very comfortable. The wooden chairs and long tables made me feel like I was at a picnic.

The Osprey is a lovely venue for dinner! I came with a large group (with reservation) and had a family style dinner with a pre-fixed menu. To start, the Osprey is part of a hotel, which is really beautifully decorated with a special ambience. The lights in the restaurant are very cute and the hotel/restaurant has real plants hanging from the ceiling and walls. There's also a lilac-y perfume smell to the hotel and restaurant, which I really enjoyed (though may not be good for those overly sensitive to scents). Their main dining room also has a lovely waterfront view of Manhattan. The music was a bit too loud, though, to have a conversation with someone comfortably across the table. In terms of the family-style dishes, I was able to try: Focaccia 5/5: this is made fresh in their kitchens! And it's made special for each day depending on what they want to flavor and adorn it with. Halibut 2/5: I didn't love the halibut itself (a bit flakey, dry, somewhat flavorless) but the crispy potatoes were layered and awesome. Pumpkin lasagnetti 4/5: The noodles were very thin and chewy and flavorful. I normally don't order pumpkin dishes, but I thought this was great! Mushroom polenta 5/5: I never enjoyed polenta but had the chance to try it here because it was family style. I was really impressed!! It was incredibly flavorful and not grainy like the way I've had it at other places. The best (surprising part) was the generous portions of mushroom in the polenta, which was so flavorful and succulent. The service was a bit slow, but understandable given the large group to se Overall, I thought the food and ambience at the Osprey were superb. I would come again for a special occasion!

We visited for our wedding anniversary and they are one of the few places we visited that day that made the occasion special. They had oysters and champagne on the happy hour menu and their Fries are worth the trip. The service was top tier, the staff was friendly and the perfect amount of personal. The vibe is dignified, elegant but still relaxed. It's a plant lovers paradise and blends with the bite it's in. Scallops cooked to perfection.

The restaurant is located inside of the 1 Hotel and is beautiful. The service was fast and the staff was very attentive as well as extremely helpful. Hubby and I was making this our 1st stop of many for the evening so we had a few drinks and ordered an appetizer. The appetizer was delicious and the drinks were strong. After we ate and had drinks, we decided to go to the rooftop lounge/bar and have more drinks while enjoying the views. Perfect view of the city. We definitely plan on returning.

Came for lunch on Memorial Day after getting a massage at the spa and had a great meal here! Bison burger and fries and crispy Brussels sprouts were both really good. Would return for dinner!

This place had some cool vibes, loved the decor and as soon as you walk inside they have amazing views out the windows. There's seating outside as well. We made a reservation & they are strongly encouraged to get you a seat. There is a hotel above so most come here to enjoy a nice breakfast or dinner. The service was great. The food was good but nothing that wowed me honestly.. we shared The Osprey Breakfast & Aussie Banana bread. The bacon was Extra Extra Crispy and a bit cold. The eggs were good and the potatoes were pretty good. The Aussie bread was pretty delicious with the Coffee. The place is a bit upscale as far as food and I get it but maybe their dinner selection is a bit better.

Tried this place for breakfast- and I enjoyed it very much. It is located inside of the hotel, has a very cute decor. I ordered falafel breakfast bowl - it is a vegan dish which pleasantly surprised me with a flavor, falafel was perfectly cooked, and hummus that was served with it was super delicious. My cousin ordered avocado toast with a poached egg, which she also loved. Our server was very pleasant.

It's our first time there, and it's for my husband's surprise birthday dinner. I picked the place based on reviews and the location. The Osprey didn't disappoint! It's nice working w/ the event coordinator Tiffany. She was friendly and efficient. She relayed our discussion including dietary restrictions to the service staff so they were accommodating and had no surprises. Everyone loved Everything I picked out from the prix fixe menu. We highly recommend hen of woods, fresh oysters, honeynut cavatelli, and bison strip, and crispy Brussels sprouts. Besides the very delicious food, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was amazing! We shall return in the summer! P.S. You may want to reserve LAZ parking by the hotel in advance.

When we entered we were told that bar was first come first serve. No one mentioned that we had to go to a specific section of the bar to order for the bartender to tell us that the entire restaurant only takes cash or room charge. We ordered some drinks and after seeing him accept card payments I asked him why he said only cash. He didn't say anything and just took my card. We then got sat on our table and the service was horrible. The waitress CHARLEY visited the table a total of 3 times. 1 for drink order 2 for food order and 3 for the bill drop off. Didn't visit to check on us at all. THE ONLY REASON THIS HAS 3 STARS IS BECAUSE OF THE FOOD! IT WAS DELICIOUS AND SEASONED PERFECTLY! The food is amazing here but the service is horrible!

Brunch service on a Sunday was amazing. Service was prompt and servers were attentive. The falafel breakfast bowl was delicious and you have to get the fries appetizer. The drinks were delicious. Prices are comparable for NYC prices.

Outstanding restaurant! Beautiful interior, fabulous service, and with Dan Churchill an incredible chef at the helm. The food is modern, perfectly balanced and absolutely delicious. The halibut is the best take on humble fish & chips I've ever had, and the TimTam dessert made me nostalgic of my time living in OZ. And as an avid viewer of MasterChef Australia, I can't be more happy to have one of their best graduates right at our door step here in Brooklyn!

We had a lovely birthday dinner here. The ambiance and setting is tucked behind the hotel and we were seated outside. We orders two entrees: one Hudson Valley trout dish which was PHENOMENAL and one framer's salad with salmon which was okay. Our server was attentive and friendly and even gave us a birthday treat to celebrate my sister's birthday. I would recommend booking a Resy in advance to avoid waiting and to opt for a fish dish or oysters as that's what they are known for. Ambiance - 4/5 Food - 4/5 Service - 5/5

As soon we entered, we were greeted by the hosted who made us feel very welcome. We were then seated and the waitress came and introduced herself, she was also very friendly and made us feel very comfortable. We loved the food and the ambiance was great. Will definitely come back. After we ate, the manager came over and chatted with us and asked if we've been to the rooftop, he escorted us and showed us around and told us what to expect for the summer. Yes, we cannot wait to come back.

This was my first time dining at the East Village location. The interior design is stylish, and the atmosphere is nice, but the ventilation is a major issue. The range hood is far too weak, and the entire restaurant was filled with smoke from the burger grills, making the dining experience uncomfortable. One issue we had was that my first Bronte Burger was overcooked instead of the medium I ordered. To their credit, the staff replaced it promptly, and the second one was cooked correctly. The biggest disappointment, however, was the tip calculation on the receipt. The suggested 20% tip clearly does not match 20% of the total bill. How is that number being calculated? It feels misleading and makes it seem like customers are being overcharged on the suggested gratuity. That's simply unacceptable and really leaves a bad impression. The food is still excellent, but the ventilation and the questionable tip calculation seriously need to be addressed.
