Peking Pork Chops Over Rice and Young Chow Fried Rice

This spot always hits the spot when you want authentic Cantonese dishes. It's great for groups and family meals. Highly recommend going for dinner or for dim sum brunch on weekends. They do take reservations for large groups. Wait staff are polite which is always a plus!

-I used to live in queens and eat In Flushing and Chinatown quite regularly. In general, this is the closest you'll ever find to that authentic feel and menu quality Just amazing and NOT your cookie cutter take out/dine in, Asian restaurant, including delicacies served from the dim sum carts, I believe every day. Here is a sample; Top neck clams (not tiny razor clams) with jalapeño peppers in black bean sauce, OMG! This place is worth a ride from anywhere in queens or Long Island!

I had been coming here when the owner (?) Tommy was a regular fixture and decided to eat here. Sad to say it missed. Normally, pork chops are lost and juicy but today was dry. Vegetables were over ripen and tough to chew and additionally, the clam dish was overcooked and became chewy as well. I am a big fan but tonight was just a big miss Lastly, the house radishes...who cut them?? They were huge and uneven slices.

The last time I went here was maybe 2015, and I am happy to see it is still around even in 2025. All the places around have moved. My memory might not be the best, it taste a bit different but I was happy to enjoy it again. The staff meets every need, the food is mostly good and I enjoyed coming back there. Keep up the great work

Visited on a weekday for lunch while nearby at Lowe's ... really terribly gloppy food that you would expect from any run of the mill strip mall take out spot. This used to be such an excellent go to place. Shame.

I've passed by this place a few times but I've never tried it. I'm glad I finally did. They are in a smaller strip mall so parking can be busy. I came for dinner but there's also a lunch menu I'd like to try as well. Busy but we were seated right away. Got a few minutes to look at the menu and our order was taken and then they dropped the chips and duck and mustard sauce. The food came out pretty quickly and the portions were huge! It was also very good. Authentic for sure. I'd like to try more stuff from the menu so I'll definitely be back.

Came in here after I ran the Brooklyn half marathon to celebrate an incredible PR with my family. Turns out if you come here later in the afternoon they don't have any dumplings left! We were able to try about 3 different ones, whatever was left on the cart. The food is always soo good here. Just be mindful of when you come for dim sum. The service is pretty mediocre though. When we were interacting with the employees they could not get away from us fast enough. Restaurant hasn't changed looks wise in years. Worth the try because food is good just go at a better time than 1 o'clock.

No need to go to Chinatown or Flushing Queens. Delicious and authentic Chinese dishes.

Taste is fresh. Ask for more spice than your usual preference and it's perfect. Always ready rather quickly.

They currently offer dim sum until 3 pm. Full menu available.

For dim sum conneseurs, would you consider this comparable to the dimsum restaurants in Flushing?

My favorites are the dim sum dishes of beef or pork rice rolls ,rib tips ,and the beef chow fun is amazingly delicious. They have a greater choice of Dim Sum dishes brought to you in carts only on weekends. But you can still get some dishes during the week. The interior is very spacious and makes you feel You are actually in Hong Kong. They have a big party room in the rear that sits 100 guests. With a full bar just outside of the room. And also another bar near the main entrance . (Both not sit down bars) And inside main areas can sit another approximately 150 to 200 guests. Their is decent amount of parking out front with a designated handi cap spot to the left of lot with a ramp and parking to the side and to the rear of the restaurant. What I love about this place is the window space .Lets in plenty of light to compliment the nice lighting inside. This is the place to go if you crave authentic Cantonese dishes. Without having to trek to Flushing or Bayside. You can't go wrong.

The complimentary tea was hitting and the lazy Suzan was passing our family style meal to perfection. Not only were the spices and seasonings excellent but the cook on everything was perfect Pork soup dumplings - were some of the best I've had in a while House special wonton soup - clean and flavorful Scallion pancakes - perfection Shrimp toasted - didn't know what to expect from this one but it was delightful! Tasted like a shrimp dumpling but browned. Hong Kong chicken with ginger and scallion Outstanding , the cook, the flavoring the cooked veggies. This is a must get! Mongolian beef - Delicious along with everything else Chinese broccoli w ginger and wine - Delicious and great compliment, next time I'd prefer to try the same flavoring but with Bok Choy House Special pan fried noodles. If anyone ever finds better pan fried noodles, please let me know. These were exceptional Only things I wasn't crazy about was Pan fried pork bun, they were fine but I've had better Hot & Sour Soup, that disappointed me Lastly the staff, poured the soup for our table, cut the noodles to be served and packed all of our to go containers for us. We had a perfect experience and ate delicious food

Global Buffet is a huge restaurants inside a large brick building and is hard to miss. There is plenty of parking as it sits in a large shopping area. We came on a random weekday and I was surprised how busy this place was. We were a slightly large group so it did take a minute for them to put some tables together. Customer service was great from start to finish. Our table stayed clean and our drinks stayed full. My uncle footed the bill, but I glanced at the prices and they are very reasonable here. The buffet setup is massive. I've honestly only seen bigger in Vegas. They had about 3 rows of foods. On top of that, off to the side, they have salad and dessert bars, a hibachi station, and a large sushi station. As the name of the restaurant suggests, the offerings are truly global. They have a variety of different cuisines but the main focus is Chinese food. I had a flight to catch after this meal so I took it a little easy on my intake. I started off with sushi. For a buffet, the sushi was actually pretty decent. Set your expectations correctly and you will enjoy it. Everything else I tried throughout the buffet was good. No complaints from anyone in our party. Overall, for a Chinese buffet, this spot was not bad at all. I wouldn't seek it out or feel compelled to come back, but would not complain if the family brought us back here again.
