I had been coming here when the owner (?) Tommy was a regular fixture and decided to eat here. Sad to say it missed. Normally, pork chops are lost and juicy but today was dry. Vegetables were over ripen and tough to chew and additionally, the clam dish was overcooked and became chewy as well. I am a big fan but tonight was just a big miss Lastly, the house radishes...who cut them?? They were huge and uneven slices.

The last time I went here was maybe 2015, and I am happy to see it is still around even in 2025. All the places around have moved. My memory might not be the best, it taste a bit different but I was happy to enjoy it again. The staff meets every need, the food is mostly good and I enjoyed coming back there. Keep up the great work

Visited on a weekday for lunch while nearby at Lowe's ... really terribly gloppy food that you would expect from any run of the mill strip mall take out spot. This used to be such an excellent go to place. Shame.

-I used to live in queens and eat In Flushing and Chinatown quite regularly. In general, this is the closest you'll ever find to that authentic feel and menu quality Just amazing and NOT your cookie cutter take out/dine in, Asian restaurant, including delicacies served from the dim sum carts, I believe every day. Here is a sample; Top neck clams (not tiny razor clams) with jalapeño peppers in black bean sauce, OMG! This place is worth a ride from anywhere in queens or Long Island!

I've passed by this place a few times but I've never tried it. I'm glad I finally did. They are in a smaller strip mall so parking can be busy. I came for dinner but there's also a lunch menu I'd like to try as well. Busy but we were seated right away. Got a few minutes to look at the menu and our order was taken and then they dropped the chips and duck and mustard sauce. The food came out pretty quickly and the portions were huge! It was also very good. Authentic for sure. I'd like to try more stuff from the menu so I'll definitely be back.

In my opinion this is the best dim sum restaurant in the area with decent service. The food is really solid, and it doesn't get to overwhelming busy.

Came in here after I ran the Brooklyn half marathon to celebrate an incredible PR with my family. Turns out if you come here later in the afternoon they don't have any dumplings left! We were able to try about 3 different ones, whatever was left on the cart. The food is always soo good here. Just be mindful of when you come for dim sum. The service is pretty mediocre though. When we were interacting with the employees they could not get away from us fast enough. Restaurant hasn't changed looks wise in years. Worth the try because food is good just go at a better time than 1 o'clock.

Top notch service, quality food and plentiful portions. For the first time ever did I see a jumbo shrimp in a shrimp roll.

Do they have the push carts for dim sum on both Saturday and Sunday?

Yes, they have the push carts on the weekends only up until a certain time. Weekdays you have to order from the menu.

Can you order dim sum items during the dinner service?

They currently offer dim sum until 3 pm. Full menu available.

For dim sum conneseurs, would you consider this comparable to the dimsum restaurants in Flushing?

I think it's just as good in taste but flushing has a larger variety of foods.

We were served tea and crispy noodles with duck sauce immediately when we sat. The tea was very good. Drinks are very reasonable compared to other restaurants. My cosmo and my husband's Zobie were $13.00 each. The menu is extensive. It's authentic but they have classic dishes also. We had the tangerine beef and general tso's chicken. The beef was good, but the chicken dish was excellent and white meat only. The portions are huge so next time we will probably split a meat dish and a noodle dish. The larger round tables have a lazy Susan in the center and would be perfect for a group to share. Restaurant was clean and bright. You can tell it used to be a diner but we didn't care about that. I'm looking forward to going back.

From the moment you walk in, the entire team is welcoming and warm, but Tiffany truly stands out. She is gracious, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful--someone who remembers you and makes you feel like more than just a table. Tonight, when things slowed down a bit, we had the chance to catch up and share a few laughs, which made the evening feel even more special. As for the food, it was just as impressive. I had the twin lobster with ginger and scallion over E-Fu noodles--rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. My husband ordered his usual--eggs with mixed vegetables--which isn't on the menu, but they always accommodate when possible. He thoroughly enjoyed it, as he always does. Fresh, delicious food paired with standout, heartfelt service is exactly why we keep coming back. This place has truly become one of our regular favorites.

The dish was presented traditionally with the all the toppings. The duck sauce was also perfect. A beautiful dish that fulfilled the 3 categories of Chinese cooking: color, fragrance and taste. Our next favorite in presentation and taste is the pork belly with pumpkin. The presentation of the dish is eye popping. The pork belly is unmistakably cooked by a master chef. The texture is chewy (skin), soft (fat) and dense (meat). The sauce may look over the top, but it adds to the silkiness of the pieces. The "fat" is not greasy. It's puzzling how they rendered the grease. I grew up eating this dish and cook it too. This dish by far is the best I've had. Service is fantastic; helpful and attentive. This is our new favorite restaurant! Suggestion would be to eat at the restaurant for an incredible experience. Dishes came out is perfect order. Global Buffet is a huge restaurants inside a large brick building and is hard to miss. There is plenty of parking as it sits in a large shopping area. We came on a random weekday and I was surprised how busy this place was. We were a slightly large group so it did take a minute for them to put some tables together. Customer service was great from start to finish. Our table stayed clean and our drinks stayed full. My uncle footed the bill, but I glanced at the prices and they are very reasonable here. The buffet setup is massive. I've honestly only seen bigger in Vegas. They had about 3 rows of foods. On top of that, off to the side, they have salad and dessert bars, a hibachi station, and a large sushi station. As the name of the restaurant suggests, the offerings are truly global. They have a variety of different cuisines but the main focus is Chinese food. I had a flight to catch after this meal so I took it a little easy on my intake. I started off with sushi. For a buffet, the sushi was actually pretty decent. Set your expectations correctly and you will enjoy it. Everything else I tried throughout the buffet was good. No complaints from anyone in our party. Overall, for a Chinese buffet, this spot was not bad at all. I wouldn't seek it out or feel compelled to come back, but would not complain if the family brought us back here again.

I wish I could say better things about this place. I had high hopes going in. The building is huge, ut the tables are water damaged and the chairs are worn out. I will never come back here. My fiance said it best, the food is like warm left overs and not in the nice way. The food is mediocre at best. I am not one to spit out food, especially in a restaurant. I unfortunately had to spit things out with 3 different items I tried. Two were unable to be chewed. One was a spicy beef, I could not bite into the meat or cut it. The second calamari, rubber and hard, just don't. The last was a cake a nepolian I belive and it was stale and the cream was oddly solid. There was some decent food but nothing to write home about. The service isn't bad, but it was definitely awkward. The staff is attentive, but they will stand over you and speak to each other in their native language as if you are not there. I would say avoid this place.
