The food is good.. but the prices are too high for the service and portion size. It's good, but I would recommend the breakfast club in Moscow. Kind of overrated imo Also for Veterans day, they advertised a free meal, so I went with my family. Turned out it wasn't a free meal.. it was a free single piece of pancake. read more

We went here on a Saturday morning around 9 am thinking it was going to be very busy but it was only a 10 minute wait. The place was packed and we weren't really sure who our server was because two different people came to take our food and drink order. I ordered the cake plate and it was huge! It had the German ball things that I don't know how to spell, a German pancake, a strawberry crepe and pancakes. It was all amazing! I also tried the Hungarian goulash which was really yummy! Went twice in one day! First time user, went there with my fiance while the cougars were sleeping. First of all the service is superb!! Everyone and I mean everyone is super helpful and friendly. Started with the French Press coffee. Excellent! I had a Danish Aebleskivers, potato pancake with an over-easy egg with hollandaise sauce, swedish crepe, & pancakes. My partner had eggs, bacon & hash browns. All delicious and we thought our eggs were the best ever. Came a few hours later with my kids. I ordered the borsch soup. Loved it and well definitely come back for more. My daughter had the goulash, yummm yummm! I honestly don't like potato pancakes, hash browns, home fries - any of that, but these...OMG, so so so delicious. I will spend the next few months combing the internet trying to find this recipe! They are so moist and creamy. I can't describe them. If you go here just get them. Joey ordered the Danish abelskeivers stuffed with sausage and havarti. They were like little savory doughnuts. I just recently moved to Pullman for college and after a long 7 hour drive with my family we decided we'd eat at The Old European. Personally, I'm not a breakfast person so I only got pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream on top and and a sunrise (orange and cranberry juice) and it was amazing!!! Their pancakes are huge and fluffy filled with flavor and their maple syrup is delicious. Definitely the BEST pancakes I've had in my entire life, I cannot stop thinking about them. The customer service was also amazing, our waiter was very friendly and gave us the history of the restaurant and how they make everything from scratch. I can't wait to go back!!! read more

Lisa the manager is great! You always see her helping her crew. I've seen her run food, refill drinks, seat people and help cash people out. She's a true leader of her crew. All of the staff who have served my family are always polite and doubt check our order to make sure it's correct before leaving our table. Like I said, I had potato pancakes and a side of egg. they were the best potato pancakes I've ever had. Breakfast was delicious! I had the Omelet Stew which is an omelet with ham, bacon & sausage, cheese, peppers, onions & tomatoes. The best thing I tried was the Veggie Browns & Cheese which is grilled broccoli, zucchini, tomatoes, onions and peppers with potatoes and a choice of cheddar, swiss or feta. I wish there was one of these near me!! I ordered the Hungarian Goulash with sausage gravy (made from scratch), and blueberry aebleskivers (round pan cakes with blueberries baked inside), and old country wheat toast, made on the premises, that came with a home made raspberry preserve. They had me at customer service then my breakfast arrived! The French press was good coffee. My aebelskivers with the blackberry brandy was unbelievably soft and fluffy!
