Smallish table on cute nook for intimate experiences.
    John A.

We (part of 2) had a 5:15pm food appointment on a Thursday evening in late June before an event at the Fox theatre. It was quite unoccupied when we arrived, but did behind to fill in when we left around the 7pm timeframe. The service could not have been better on our specific visit. The drinks did take a while because the single bartender was not provided with any type of support from what we could see. While our table was intimate and discrete, it was in the small side to accommodate the space required for all of the different ingredients, condiments and eating/cooking tools. Very impactful that they asked us from the beginning if we had an event and made suggestions to align with what time that we would need to leave by to ensure that we were in schedule.

Rob was the BEST server in the world. Give that man a promotion PLEASE!!! Didn't have my wine...he knew what to get....i was confused about the menu...he clarified....i needed a substitution...he tried to make it happen. For an expensive dinner in Atlanta...that is the service you should be receiving. I don't even like fondue like that!!!

Amazing atmosphere and staff. The food is absolutely delicious and so are the drinks. Our waitress, Raymond took great care of us. He was also very kind. Will be coming back! 10/10!

If you haven't been you are late to the party Who can say no to fondue? Once I found out they had vegan options we HAD to try it -- and we're not disappointed We went with the: Lava Flow mocktail (like a strawberry pina colada Modern Old Fashioned Caesar Salad Strawberry Almond Salad Then our (fantastic) server came out to prepare our cheese sauce with fresh herbs and garlic It was served with a charcuterie platter of fresh breads, warm pretzel bites, tomatoes, carrots, cauliflower, and even green apples Our entree arrived with a mojo broth, and we got to prepare our own veggies and meat/seafood For the grand finale , our chocolate dessert came with strawberries, apples and bananas. I've heard it can be busy right before a show at the Fox, so we went while the show was going on and had the whole place to ourselves. Nice romantic lighting and good music playing

This restaurant has been on my list for awhile, and it did not disappoint! Location and Parking Located in Midtown, near the Fox Theater, means you will have to pay to park. Valet is directly in front of the restaurant for $10, or street parking is available around the corner for metered prices. Venue and Atmosphere You will see an open lobby with a bar in front of you and the host stand to the left. The lightning is dim and romantic, with many semi private booths for romantic dining. Restrooms are at the very back of the establishment, and are quite clean. My partner and I opted for the Thursdate package, so our table was covered in rose petals. Service The hostess and waitress were nice and helped us decide on fondue choices (it was our first time). Food and Beverages The Love Martini was a bit to sweet for my taste, and not very strong. The presentation was pretty though. The fondue (both cheddar and chocolate) was tasty and they served a wide variety of dippers (pretzels, fresh fruit, rice crispy treats, etc). We both ordered the house salad with ranch, which was tasty. The Thursday entree comes with chicken, shrimp, teriyaki beef, and filet mignon. Aside form the teriyaki, all of the meats could use some of the wine seasoning (provided). We cooked our meats in broth and on the cooktop, and they all turned out to be delicious. Verdict I'll return for another Thursdate... gotta work my way through the fondue menu!

This was a surprise date for my granddaughter. The Little Cupid event was so exciting for her. Anthony our server made her feel special since it was her first time having fondue. He was patient as she made her selections. The food was fresh and the fondues were delicious. The valet parking made the traffic maneuvering easy. A great place to introduce little ones to fondue.

Greeted and taken care of by the best of the best, Taylor (bartender) . We love coming here for date night chocolate and drinks, and the melting pot never disappoints!

I haven't been to the Melting Pot in years and that last time was in Las Vegas. Things To Know: 1. Book a reservation and prepare for at the very least 2.5 hours for your visit. 2. If you want two pots, let the hostess know when you book your reservation. Standard is one pot per pair. 3. You will smell like fried goodies when you leave. The Experience: It can be a bit confusing but in a condensed version, your meal is 4 courses (they have al la carte options but you'd be doing yourself a disservice money-wise and experience-wise). First Course: You choose your cheese sauce and they prepare it in a double boiling pot. It comes with tomatoes, apples, bread, carrots and cauliflower. Second Course: You choose 1 of 4 salads. Third Course: You each choose an entree which is about 6-7 different combos of uncooked duck, salmon, chicken, steak, shrimp, ahi tuna, or veggies. It's about 3-5 pieces per meat that comes in the entree you choose. (There is an option to get one larger entree with everything.) Here you choose your cooking method as well which is boiling, cast iron grilling or tempura. The side veggies you get depend on your cooking method. Fourth Course: You choose your dessert fondue, the yin and yang was delicious! It comes with 2-4 pieces of angel cake, strawberries, pineapples, bananas, brownies, cookies, Oreo covered marshmallows, waffles and rice crispy treats. Overall the experience was very fun, we did cast iron and be mindful because it does pop. The environment is suitable for kids (they have a kids menu but the food will still have to be prepared as the regular entrees) but a date night or girls/guys out would be more enjoyable. Vegetarian Friendly Kid Friendly but I would recommend at least 8 years and up.

Went for a Mother's Day dinner 4 course meal. The wait staff was courteous. Each course was pretty good. Reservations were easily made online. Parking was okay at the right hour. The city was a little crowded due to an event downtown but that's to be expected. Enjoyed the evening

Perfect for that cheese craving and experience! The spinach artichoke is my go-to favorite whenever I come. Quattro formaggio - warning, this fondue has a very strong wine taste. Personally, it was not to my taste The entrees aren't really worth the money or that good, I always come for the cheese fondue alone and one pot can definitely satisfy two people for a meal. The chocolate fondue is also delicious and the waiters are very good about giving some extra fruit or bread if asked.

Been coming to this spot for years and honestly I am appalled at the kind of service I just encountered. I walked in to half of the staff sitting at the bar. I asked to sit at the bar and was told that they don't serve food at the bar when, FOR YEARS, I have been coming, sitting at the bar, to eat food. Then was confronted by the manager who told me I would have to sit at a table and when I agreed he told me there were no tables available. When I pointed out the many available, with the plenty available staff I might add, I was told the tables did not work. Honestly, I am sad to say the service here is down right deplorable and I will have to remove this restaurant from my rotation.

I also had the goulash which was good but honestly I prefer the crappy American version with the noodles lol. We arrived 15 minutes before our reservation, but were told our table was already ready, so we were seated. (The restaurant tables are very close together, so be aware that if anyone in your party is wheelchair bound, it may be difficult for them to maneuver around.) The restaurant is kept very warm inside, and I'm usually someone who feels cold easily, but even I was rather hot. A woman brought water glasses and a water carafe to our table and said, "If you want something besides water, just let me know," and then walked off. So, in my mind, that woman was a food assistant or a food runner. Turned out, she was our waitress! She later stopped by, didn't introduce herself and didn't ask if we'd ever been there before, but did ask if we wanted an appetizer. We ordered Potato Pancakes. She also asked if we wanted bread service, so we said yes. We did notice from other conversations at the very close tables near ours, that many of the customers are regulars and have their favorite waitstaff. The manager had stopped by a table to regrettably inform a couple that their favorite waiter was out for 2 weeks. So, that did give us hope that if they have regulars, it must be good. The Potato Pancakes were delicious! (I didn't even stop to snap a picture because we were very hungry!) My husband ordered the "Bier" + Cheese Burger ($16.95), and I ordered the Pork Shank "Schwweinehaxe" ($34). The waitress said she had to check the availability of the Pork Shank, so I told her that if it wasn't available, to put in Chicken Wienerschnitzel. Then she didn't come back to let us know what the kitchen said. My husband flagged her down to find out if the pork shank was available, and she said she'd forgotten to come back, but that it was. He also told her that it was my birthday, so she brought out a cute birthday tea light for the table. The food was absolutely delicious, and for the price point, you can easily see why people are regulars there! The pork shank was enormous! (We ate off of it 2 more times after we took it home. The restaurant gave us extra gravy at no charge, too.) The rosemary mashed potatoes were very good! The presentation was lovely! My husband really enjoyed his burger. Then for dessert, our waitress brought out a slice of tiramisu with a wedge of chocolate cake over it, berries, whipped cream, and a little birthday candle in it. Turned out really wonderful! Will definitely go back to this unique spot!

They brought their A game for sure!! what a great experience. This is a casual very open place with a plethora of chefs, each creating a specific dish that they will bring to you and you choose whether you want to eat it or not. The menu is written to where you just check off what you got and you go down the menu and each chef will bring out the dish they created, describe it in detail and then you choose whether you want to eat it or not. Unfortunately, my son and I could not refuse anything, but we did turn down one which I can't remember what it was but this place is fabulous! Yes, these are two bite samples, the taste, and the creativity is exquisite!! These chefs brought things to my pallet that I cannot reverse engineer, and I saved every morsel they brought to the table. Literally ordering nearly everything on the menu, from custom drinks, made tableside to each entrée appetizer or dessert, sample dish, each one presented by the chef who created it this is what foodies live for. This place is for those who enjoy excellent flavors creativity gastronomy, lemon foam to sauces that are unbelievably savory and delectable. I will post all my pictures if I can remember the names of all the dishes, but the menu changes weekly so it's not like you come one week and go back the next week for the same thing. While the space is undeniably beautiful and great for photos, the actual dining experience was deeply underwhelming. The Service: Our waitress was incredibly pretentious and snobby. She actually refused to let us order certain items because she "didn't recommend them" and was completely inflexible regarding simple spirit substitutions in the signature cocktails. The Food: The $75 tableside carbonara was overly salty and lacked any sense of refinement. The lobster roll was even more disappointing--mushy, flavorless, and contained very few actual chunks of lobster. After those dishes, we decided to skip the fish entree entirely. The Value: The "best" part of the meal was the bread, which felt like it should have been a table complimentary, but instead cost $10 for a few slices. For a $300+ bill, you expect quality that matches the price. The Atmosphere: Once you look past the initial "wow" factor, you realize the floral decor is largely fake, which mirrors the feel of the service. We had fun laughing at how ridiculous the situation was, but we won't be returning. My advice: Stop acting like a world-class establishment until the cuisine and service actually justify the attitude.
