I'm glad I found this melting pot I really enjoy this place. This location is kinda hidden, but has plenty of parking. Our waitress was helpful and prompt. Overall a good experience the food was good as always and I will be back. read more

Melting pot food was very good pricy but exceptional. Our server however was not. I went there with my son after a baseball game. They did bring my beer before his water so I went to the bar to get it. Our soup pot was empty he filled it up again when the food was almost gone. I ordered a drink and drank it. I then tried to order another beer. They said I had a drink and a beer and they wouldn't serve me. The fact when I ordered the beer the guy looked at me like I had a third eye going out of my head, then the manager came and said sorry a drink and a beer we can't do so here is your bill. Never mind the fact the people at the bar had about 4 mixed drinks, but I guess it only mattered for me with my one and a beer. I understand responsibility and all but that was an excuse for their poor table management and a line building up. Very disappointed. The food was good the service was crap. read more

The ambiance is really set for a date night or a couples evening. We went to celebrate my birthday because that's where my daughter wanted to go for her birthday. She was not disappointed! We had three courses and they were all excellent. We shared various cooking styles and flavors. My favorite was grilling then putting it in the pot to finish it off with some extra flavor. The cheeses were excellent! Don't remember the two we got, but they were excellent! I'm not a big dessert person, but the desserts weren't overly sweet and I even enjoyed them. The service is quiet and attentive. They're great at answering questions and helping with any questions you might have. My highlight was easily my 8yo daughter telling me she was a grilling expert and wanted her own grill at home. She thoroughly enjoyed the hands on approach. read more

We have been here many times. Mostly were really good. Just never compelled me to write a review. Last night, they treated my daughter for her 13th birthday and went way over the top. She loved it. The food was incredible. As always. Our server was amazing. The place was incredibly clean. I just can't say enough good things about it. We will be back soon!!! It was so much fun and thank you for treating my daughter!!! read more

So I took my husband here on Sunday for father's day. They had a special thing going where it was endless entree. So we did that. It was... awful. Lol. Our poor server was so frazzled. They were so unprepared for this kind of thing cuz like, they're not used to it I guess? So anyway. We're seated RIGHT by the kitchen. Like we could hear the whole kitchen cussing and cutting up (doesn't bother us, we were both cooks in the past) BUT we saw SO many managers come in and out of that kitchen with nothing in their hands. Like, we were there for 2 whole hours because service was so slow and on top of that there were SO many mistakes. It was so bad that I dont think I'll ever go back lol. It was so late and we were so tired that at the two hour mark we just asked for the dessert to go. So technically we could have been there for like 3 hours. It was wild. Anyway, I'm just writing this because it would be nice to see the managers actually do their jobs and assist servers/check on tickets/make sure kitchen staff is actually paying attention. Like, no hate but it was SO bad. And it was 200 dollars (yes I tipped 20% because I have respect and I know what its like to be in an establishment where management sucks) with no alcohol. Just food. I feel like I wasted my money on a subpar experience. read more

We came for an early birthday celebration. It was our first visit, so we weren't sure what to expect. Our server was amazing and very knowledgeable of the menu. The food was delicious. We didn't realize that we cooked the meat ourselves, so it was quite entertaining (especially if you don't have a clue how to cook!). The booths provided privacy, and it provided us with an opportunity to enjoy some family time with conversations and laughter. read more

Me and my husband came to the melting pot for our 2 year wedding anniversary. It was both of our first times. He purchased a package that came with flowers and strawberries and automatic gratuity. We told our server it was our first time here so we had know idea how things worked. By then end of the meal we found out you could order more food than what was brought. Our server wasn't knowledgeable and didn't explain things very well so it was very disappointing to know i could have gotten more for the amount i paid. read more

A truly fantastic night for my partner and I. Food and ambience were great, but what really made it was our server- I want to say his name was Liam? We love Melting Pot! We have a lot of great memories eating at this chain in various locations. This was our first visit to this particular location. Service was ok. They were slow, since it was a Monday but we were celebrating something. Just 2 of us. So, we were excited to be there. We ordered a bottle of wine & the 4 course for 2. Over $200. The salad course, my first bite had a nasty huge, hair. (See pics) I mentioned something to waiter and he got offended. So, we downplayed the situation so we would not have any retaliation against us. Especially because we still had a couple of courses coming to us. Everything else was fine. But clearly the hair was not from me. I have bleached blonde, straight hair. We were made to feel uncomfortable about reporting the issue. We also went for long periods of time with no interaction from staff. But on my way to the restroom, I found the waitstaff congregating in a closed off area. I wish that when you have an obvious issue, you could in good faith, let the establishment know. Without the fear of some spitting in their food or something similar. read more

Loved our server! He was very knowledgeable and helped my family decide on what to get. We decided on a la carte and a salad for those that wanted one. The salad was pretty disappointing. We were expecting something else but it was kind of thrown together. Our favorite was the spinach artichoke cheese dip. It came with chips and everyone loved it. Wisconsin trio cheese has sherry(?) wine. I liked the flavor but it's definitely a stronger flavor so I wouldn't recommend if you don't like those notes. I was really expecting more from the entree meats. For the cooking styles we chose the coq au vin and the mojo. Mojo was the family favorite. We can say that we finally tried it but won't be back. read more

Went here with girlfriends to celebrate my birthday. It was a very different yet fun experience. The service was great our sever Brad explained everything and how it all worked it was very different the concept of paying to cook your own food is weird though because we did all the cooking. It was fun though we started with cheese dips and then we had our main meat selections with vegetable and you either girl or boil in a pot with delicious broth both options were great after that you get fondue different cakes dipped into your choice of chocolate. It was a lot of food and a fun experience with the girls. Thank you read more

Don't expect to get much food! After years of going here, and always ordering the Bigger Night Out, I was so disappointed in both the quantity of the meat, section, chicken, beef, but also in the 3 -4 ounce ( shell included )lobster that we had to share! After cooking, and resulted in a 1 to 2 ounce piece of lobster! The server was new but did her best to catch up with the many tables that she was assigned! We did have to ask for her several times for water, more dipping sauce, more vegetables, and more broth. Details, such as there were no bananas in our dessert entrée which should've been reviewed before it came to our table. The initial amount of broth was so small that it evaporated halfway through the meal. Even though we asked for the original broth, Bourguignon, she was not able to provide anything other than vegetable broth! I do not feel this meal was worth $140 for two people! That basically ends up being $84 a person with tip! Not worth it! There are so many other restaurants with better quality and larger quantity of food that you can choose for $84 a person! I do not recommend this restaurant Chain if this is the only amount of food and quality that they intend to serve in the future! read more

This was my first time here and I absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming. Our waitress Shannon I believe was hilarious and helpful. We chose the 4 course option, which was more than enough. The cheeses were great eith the pairings-bread, apples, carrots, and celery. I liked the Quattro formaggio better than the spinach artichoke. The salads were typical salads, nothing special about them. Next, was the main course that we cooked in broth ourselves. We both chose the land and sea. Everything tasted great for me except the steak. (I'm not a fan of steak in general). The chocolate fondue was super sweet because I chose white chocolate. It was good regardless. The overall fondue experience was different and nice. I would definitely return. read more

We had an excellent experience here. Other than the fact that some lights were blown out in the area we were seated, everything else went fairly smoothly. We mentioned the darkness issue to our server, and they were able to bring some candles to resolve the issue. We came during Cobb Restaurant Week and opted for the $25 prix fixe menu. We chose a cheddar cheese fondue for our appetizer which came with several side items such as fruits, veggies, and bread. Our server was very generous and brought us extras when we ran out. For the entree, we had a great tasting broth used to cook our chicken, sirloin, and shrimp, along with some more veggies. And finally, to top things off, we got a chocolate fondue to end the night, paired with some additional sides, such as rice crispies, waffles, cake, fruit and more. Our server Kyle was excellent. He explained everything he was mixing, what we were eating, all of the different sauces, and he always brought out anything we needed and did it with a smile. He definitely made our evening much more enjoyable. read more

A disappointing dining experience. Potatoes served with the entrée were still frozen solid. Smaller than bite-sized meat cuts, with a good amount of grizzle. Drink refills were non-existent. Service was very slow - from start to finish, we were there over 3 hours. At one point of our meal, we did not see our server for over 45 minutes. You'd expect more for a 2-person $170 tab. There are much better places to eat for less money. My wife and I have eaten here a few times, this was by far the worst it's been. We probably won't return. The Melting Pot is a fondu place. I've never been to a fondu place. I didn't know what to expect. The menu seemed confusing. I wasn't sure what to order. To make thing simpler, I decided to get the 4 course experience. At least that lets you experience all the fondus they had. If you come with a party, each person gets their own set of skewers. The skewers are color coded so you know which skewer is yours when cooking inside the fondu. That's cool. The 4 course experience comes with a cheese course, a salad, the entree, and dessert course. The Cheese course is a cheese fondu. You pick your cheese fondu and they give you a tray of stuff to dip into the cheese. The tray consisted of breads, tomatoes, carrots, celeries, and apples. I tried the Fiesta and the Classic Alpine. They make the cheese fondu in front of you. They basically take the ingredients written on the menu, add some shredded cheese, and call it a day. I thought it was okay. I wasn't impressed with assortment of veggies they gave us. It tasted like supermarket food. The cheese tasted good. I mean, it's a cheese dip. How hard is it to mess up? The next was the salad. I got the California Salad. I liked the Raspberry Walnut Vinaigrette. It gave it a nice, tangy flavor. But in the end, it was just a salad--a pitiful one. They just grabbed a bunch of greens and piled on it on a plate with no regards to presentation. I could've done without this course. The next was the entree. I chose the Steak Lovers since I love steak. It comes with Filet Mignon, Sirloin, and Garlic Pepper Sirloin. With this course, you can pick a broth to cook it in for the fondu. We tried the Coq Au Vin and the Court Bouillon. I realized cooking steak inside a broth doesn't really do much. It saps the flavor out of the steak. Sure, some of the flavor of the broth remains on the steak, but have you tried boiling Filet Mignon to cook it? I rather grill it so the skin caramelizes, instead of boiling it. Also, the portions were puny. The amount of meat they gave were so small, I thought they forgot to give me the rest of the food. I ordered a cold water lobster tail as well. I liked how they cut it up into skewer-able pieces. The last course was the chocolate fondu dessert course. I tried the Yin Yang, which comes with dark and white chocolate. It actually looked like a ying yang symbol when they brought it. I thought that was neat. And we also tried the Cookies and Cream. The cookies and cream was a flambé so it had a cool flaming effect. Oooh. In the end, they were both chocolate. I couldn't tell the difference. The tray they give you were some strawberries, rice crispies, brownies, pound cake, bananas, and waffles. Honestly, this was probably the best course. I mean chocolate and sweets, how can't it get better than this? Our service was so slow. We must have waited 15-20 minutes between the salad and the entree. I was getting bored the whole time. Our server seemed to move at a snail pace. Our server was nice but slow. At the end, our bill came out to $140 for 2 people. Since we ordered drinks, the food came out to probably around $90-$100. I don't know about you, that seemed pretty expensive for the amount and quality of food we got. The price was fancy restaurant tier. But most of the food seemed to have come from Publix. I wouldn't have mind it if it was cheaper, like half the price. But for $140, I could've had a much better meal elsewhere. read more

Took a good friend here for her birthday. It's always a fun experience going to The Melting Pot for special occasions as it is a unique dinner spot and quite delicious. I added the touch of romance to give my friend a rose, rose petals on the table and some candles- it was cute! The service was pretty good overall. Though the price of the dinner blew me away. $170 for the basic 4 course dinner for 2, an alcoholic beverage with the touch of romance on top. The Melting Pot is a great experience like I said, but for $85 a person, not sure if it's all worth it read more

If you're looking for a great date night, this is the perfect place. My husband and I always get the four course meal. We have tried several different things over the years, but here are our favorites. For cheese, you can't go wrong with the Wisconsin cheddar. Don't be afraid to try all the dippers. You'll be surprised what tastes good with the cheese. Both of us love the house salad with the Ranch. Definitely ask for extra of the Ranch and add some of the Melting Pot seasoning. For the main course, we both love the steak lovers. Our favorite sauces is the teriyaki, but there are others that are also great. For dessert, we always get milk chocolate. You can ask for extras or substitutions. My favorites are the waffle pieces, strawberries, and bananas. We've been many times and the service is always impeccable. Tip - if you check in on the Yelp app, you can get six chocolate covered strawberries to go. read more

I was invited here as a late birthday celebration by a couple of my friends. We didn't have any reservations, but the place wasn't that crowded either, only 3 of us but we were told that we had a 30 min wait. We could clearly see several empty tables while standing there, about 5 minutes after waiting in the lobby area...... a table popped up ( no one left, I mean where did the table come from???? LOL My guess??? It was there all the time....) So I think I was rubbed wrong from the start, but since this was a birthday gift, who was I to complain. We were seated in a large booth. The place was dark and sorta romantic. It took me a minute to figure out the menu, but once I got it, I got it. I ordered the land and sea three course meal which was steak and shrimp accompanied by a nice glass of wine. The first dish was cheese fondue, with bread and fruit for dipping, the cheese was warm and stringy. My second dish was the entrée, steak, shrimp and veggies, It felt a little funny cooking different foods in one pot like that, But it turned out ok. I don't think our waitress was very happy with us, they wanted us to use the same broth to cook our food in, but my friend has a shrimp allergy and was afraid to put his lamb in the broth that I cooked my shrimp in. The waitress just stood there for a minute in pure confusion. LOL. Then she came out and changed the liquids ( sure she charged him for the new broth, but I didn't ask him). He chose a more spicy kind of broth than the one I ordered. His lamb was really good. My third meal was dessert, creme brulee fondue, which was the best meal of the evening. They brought out all of the bells and whistles with this dish, fresh strawberries, cake & rice crispy treats. Even lit my dessert on fire....... Nice! I probably won't be back for dinner, but I will definitely be back for dessert. Absolute goodness!!! read more

We've always loved the Kennesaw Melting Pot, choosing it mostly for special events like anniversaries, etc. Tonight, though, they lost us. I called maybe two months ago to make a reservation for 09/05/2020 for the big dinner of our anniversary. Then I called a couple of weeks ago to confirm our reservation. All is well, they said. "We'll see you then." But when we arrived at 5 o'clock sharp, there was no record of our reservation & they were booked. The staff was nice & the manager offered to "work you in," but I had had enough & we went elsewhere. I doubt we trust The Melting Pot again with an important date. read more

Food is always good. However, mid entree they sat a family with no manners next to us. Parents are both drinking while they have an IPAD babysitting their obnoxious children. If I was in Chilis I would get it, but Melting Pot is on the upward of 60-70 bucks a person. I asked to speak with a manager and she states they don't require headphones. Funny because if I had my music blasting on my phone they would have something to say . So they move us ! Only one more table away from the same obnoxious family ! So if you don't mind the dim litghing and relaxing music being ruined by small children and spending that much money than this is your place ! Never again! I visited the melting pot for the first time a few weeks ago. Our server was the greatest. He was very new but so attentive to our table. We felt like he could have given us a little more information about how the meal and options worked but we were satisfied with our meal. We would have liked to try one of the other cooking options, we chose the grill, but will do that next time. The food variety was nice and it all tasted good, however it was difficult to cook the vegetables on the small grill since they were just raw and had no seasonings/oil on them. The food was mediocre. Nothing special in my opinion and over priced. If you want the experience of fondue the I guess this is the place to do it but don't expect to be amazed by the way the food taste. Our course started off with the cheese fondue which was good just not special. I quickly go tired of the cheese flavor and was ready for the next course. The salads we got with decent. I enjoyed my house salad. Next was the main course with the meats. Most of the steaks after cooking them in the mojo flavored fondue came out dry and tough. I enjoyed cooking the veggies and mushrooms in it though. Pasty was the dessert and that was my favorite. It was a pure dark chocolate sauce we dipped brownies, rice crispy lies and cakes in. But I think if dessert is the best part then it isn't a good restaurant. Our servers was really nice though. It seemed like the place had a good staff but just a tad too slow for me. The restaurant also looked nice but a little out dated but still clean. Will not be coming back but maybe fondue just isn't for me read more
