Used to go to Culinary Drop out in Pflugerville TX all the time. I was so excited when I found one here in Atlanta too. The food was good but not exceptional. It just was not flavorful.... Kind of bland. The location itself was nice... big live music and a good menu. Service was kind of off. They looked like there weee in the middle of a shift change. We got service then didn't then later did again. I'd like to go back and try it again... I think it was just an off experience.

I can't find a reason not to give this place 5 stars. My boyfriend and I came here for the first time on a Sunday night and it was a great experience. The ambiance of the restaurant is a darker style with low hanging lights, and the music was generationally appropriate fitting the vibe of the restaurant. We ordered the Whipped Feta and Tahini (with grilled strawberry, pistachio, and grilled ciabatta) and it was AMAZING! My boyfriend got the M.A.C burger with fries and ate the whole thing. I was basic and got a Caesar salad with grilled chicken. The chicken was juicy and flavorful! We are 100% coming back. Our server went MIA when it was time for us to pay and we were in a time crunch to catch a movie, but his coworker was able to check us out real fast and get us on our way! Highly recommend checking this place out!

Great restaurant and great ambiance. I can here on a Sunday and I was seated fast. I ordered the turkey sandwich and it was excellent!!! The bread was so delicious and soft and the sandwich was so flavorful! I'd definitely recommend that ! The waitress was also phenomenal!! Love this place!

We had a group of 6 today and decided to take the team to Culinary Dropout. They have a lot of made to scratch items, which gives the diner a very "fresh" from the kitchen dining experience (big win in my book) The group ordered meals ranging from bacon wrapped shrimp to sandwiches to salads. The individual ratings were from 3.5 to 5, with the salads taking the 5s. I personally had a chopped chicken salad and swapped out for normal ranch (instead of bbq ranch). The dressing alone was A+++. You could tell it was made from scratch and was lick-the-bowl-clean tasty. Service was great. Got great suggestion from our server. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We dined on the outdoor patio (highly recommended). Even on a warm day, it was shade's and very comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This was a nice place for lunch. The produc was fresh and they had a great list of draft beer. The server was very sweet and friendly and knew the menu. I'm taking a star off because the item we originally ordered ended up not being available (shrimp and avocado louie) and the chicken was sweet and fatty, and the bacon was burnt. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It looked really pretty when it was served, and the space itself is very comfortable with a huge open layout.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

First time and just popped in for a beer and snack, and I will be back. Brussels had a more savory balsamic taste and perfectly crispy. Beer selection I'm was just right with a few cider options. Service was friendly and speedy even when we sat down about 30 min to closing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Sat at the bar and tons of space for large groups and friendly vibes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We dined here for a work lunch, and the food came out pretty quick. I waiter was nice enough and had good menu suggestions. What a comeback again yes is it somewhere that I would recommend/suggest? Not really. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was very clean and was well decorated around the theme.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking is also free so they get points for that.

Dropped in after work to get a bite to eat and our server was amazing. I've never been there before so she recommended some things and everything she recommended was delicious. We had the garlic toast with salmon dip. It was a nice mix of salty with a hint of sweet and garlic it didn't sound good, to me but I tired it and it was delicious. The salmon was good and the rigatoni was delicious. Just a hint of spice. Normally, I would pick the star of the dishes I had but they were all stars!! I will definitely be back.

What an absolute gem in Sandy Springs! After hearing rave reviews about the food, service, and atmosphere, I finally attended an event here--and it exceeded every expectation. The layout was incredibly organized and spacious; I loved how the food was beautifully presented both indoors and on the covered patio. The setup was perfect, featuring a casino area on one side, live music on the other, and a central bar that kept the energy flowing. The menu was exceptional. Highlights included the high-quality roasted salmon, the soft pretzels with provolone fondue, crispy Brussels sprouts, and the Asian crunch salad. And the fried chicken was Fabulous, a complete standout! Mississippi mud pie for dessert was to die for !!! Between the outstanding service and the vibrant ambiance, this is the perfect spot for a casual meal or a major milestone celebration. Highly recommended!!

My husband and I were staying overnight in the area and I decided on Culinary Dropout. We were greeted immediately after walking through the door and were seated. This restaurant is really nice and large and the ambiance on a Tuesday afternoon was great. We started with the marinated olives and they were good. My husband had Steak Frites and said everything was really good. I went with the waitress recommendation and got the Roasted Salmon. It was terrific!! I also ordered the Giddy Up Espresso Martini, which was a recommendation and it was good. We will definitely have to return whenever we're in the area again.

Our reservation at Culinary Dropout was for 6:30 p.m. on a weekday, and wow--it was a challenge to find a parking space! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was clear this is a popular spot for the after-work crowd, with the restaurant buzzing when we arrived.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were seated on the patio, which turned out to be a great spot for people-watching and made for a fun, relaxed atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We started with drinks and the Pigs in a Blanket from the happy hour menu. The cocktails were unique and well-made, and the appetizer was a great way to kick off the meal. For dinner, we ordered the Asian Crunch Salad, the Shrimp & Avocado Louie, and the Prime Rib Sandwich. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and enjoyable, with each dish offering something a little different. Overall, we had a great experience. Between the lively atmosphere, good food, and enjoyable patio dining, it's definitely a place we'll be returning to.

I'd give it 3.5 stars if I could as I'm on the fence between 3 and 4. They obviously have a full bar, otherwise they won't make it as a hotel restaurant lol. I ordered chambord manhattan and it was decent. For my app I went with grilled Malaysian shrimp - this dish was delicious, the shrimp was plump and juicy. My main dish consisted of Lamb shank with mushroom risotto - excellent! Not overcooked for once! I love this dish when it's done right but most of the time they kill it by hours and hours of overcooking. Yes, it's very tender once it gets to you but it tastes like nothing, just mush.. Portico managed to make it perfect. Overall: sleek decor, good service, patio, full bar, self parking. Worth a try if in the area or staying at the hotel.

At first there was a mix up with who was serving us do we got explained the drink menu twice. After our appetizer, we waited about 30-40 minutes for the rest of our items which took longer than we thought. They did give us some house made popcorn to keep us busy. Jahjoy pork belly: Tasty & tendor. I loved the papaya salad which left a refreshing contrast. A bit too saucy for me. Flavors were strong. Squid ink bucatini: our favorite! Must get dish - bucatini is perfectly al dente & the spicy sauce was very flavorful. Jumbo shrimp was delicious, and the anchovy on top left a nice strong flavor. Red snapper: This has some Vietnamese influences with the sauce. It was a lighter dish which was just OK for me, I would have liked the fish to have a crispier skin. Not much flavor besides the sauce which is inspired by canh chua. Wagyu flank steak: cooked to perfection and flavored well, loved the celery puree which was much tastier than we expected celery to be. Dessert was mint chocolate cake which was very tasty. I wish the cake was softer and meltier in the center but it was still good. Malt gelato was delicious. Could def taste the mintiness. Creme pat along the edges was a nice add to the cake with cacao nibs and popcorn for a textural contrast. I enjoyed it!! Overall we had a great meal and could tell the ingredients were very fresh. The presentation for all the dishes was beautiful!! We can tell the chef puts care in his food :) Appreciated the personal touch - they gave a handwritten card to my husband for his birthday!

Food: 5/5 We decided to try a leisurely lunch. The menu is not large, but it has enough variety to be interesting. Everything we tried was delicious. The smoked salmon appetizer portion was large, but the best part was the great flavor. I can see why this choice has been on the menu for years. The Vidalia onion soup will be a surprise for the non-Georgians who expect it to be similar to a savory beef broth like French onion soup. Georgia's onions from the Vidalia area are sweet and tasty enough to carry the soup without the help of a meat broth and the green pesto sauce offers a nice additional touch. The salmon on fresh salad was done perfectly. The panka-crusted cod with mashed potatoes and spinach was outstanding. Both were seasoned so lightly that the true flavors shone through. The portions were generous enough that dessert at the time would have been too much, but others can do as we did and take home one of the dessert choices. Next time we plan to try their sandwiches which looked yummy at other tables. Service : 5/5 Service was excellent from the pleasant greeting, through the entire meal. Our server, Clayton, couldn't have been more helpful with the menu, as well as being very efficient and amiable. He made sure our food was served promptly and our beverages glasses were full, and our requests were met quickly. Facility: The facility lends itself to the riverside experience from the canoe in the entryway ceiling to the flowers and bird feeders just beyond the patio tables. The white tablecloth ambiance informs you that this isn't a fast-food experience. There are tents set aside in a more private are of the garden as a lovely venue for special events Location : This isn't a quick roadside stop next to a 6-lane highway. Even though the restaurant is convenient to dine in an Atlanta suburb, the roads to the restaurant wind and meander for a short distance through one of the prettiest neighborhoods, with a canopy of large old trees, with lovely fences, hedges, and gates lining the road. There is courteous valet parking at the front door. The restaurant is not inexpensive but it is well worth the prices paid, in our opinion.

After sending it back, it was cooked perfectly, though the flavor was just okay. My husband loved his entrée, and the complimentary birthday dessert was a thoughtful touch. Despite a couple of hiccups, the beautiful atmosphere and attentive service made for an enjoyable evening. I'd definitely return and try something different next time.

The good times were definitely rolling from there! As far as food goes, I also loved the stuffed mushroom appetizer and my salad. The variety of salad accompaniments were awesome, and I wish more places offered grilled scallops with your salad. It was quite delicious and now I'm spoiled. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu.

We decorated and fairly quiet for a large restaurant, the bar area is beautiful. The service could be a little faster, as we waited for our first drinks, and then the food took a little longer than usual, not too bad, but enough to notice.

It's free parking in Sandy Springs because it's in a shopping center so you don't have to worry about paying for parking. The menu itself is very small so you're not going to have a lot of things on there to choose from but what you do pick is probably gonna be really good though. The menu is usually only one page. Now if you flip it over the wine list is extensive or decently extensive considering the fact that it's not a winery but you have a massive amount of options . Last time I was there I sat at the bar and Rob was super cool and really gave great customer service. No complaints about that . Brooklyn favorite Reuben - the Reuben was a really good sandwich. It came hot with melted cheese on there and sauerkraut and it was a hit. It came with fries but you can actually get a different side if you want. The Reuben sandwich was very good and very filling. It wasn't overly stacked like I'm used to back where I'm from but at the same time they definitely put a nice amount of meat on there so you won't be hungry after you finish. Avocado egg rolls - I tried the avocado egg rolls and they were okay but it's not my cup of tea. Personally I don't actually like avocado and it was pretty much 90% avocado inside there. At the same time it wasn't bad. If you like avocados then this is really gonna be your bag. It comes with a really sweet, maybe a teriyaki kind of sauce, but it's actually good and it helped. I'm just not a fan of that so I can't take that away from them. Lobster bisque - the Lobster Bites were okay. It tasted just like it was supposed to. It was still very lobstery and creamy so I have to give them that. It was pretty good. I only had a little bit but at the same time I thought it was good for what it was. Overall I really really enjoyed this spot. The customer service was really good and the food was solid
