I went to Fogo de Chão this past Friday for my birthday and my boyfriend's sister's birthday, and it was such a great experience. There were 10 of us and we all did the $66 option, everything was so good. The meat was flavorful and just kept coming. I was a little worried at first because I've heard it can take a while, but they started bringing meat out almost immediately and kept checking on us the whole time. We also tried the $10 hibiscus cocktail and it was really good. Both birthday girls got a free dessert, which was such a nice touch. We were seated right away even with a big group, and the whole vibe was perfect for celebrating. Definitely one of my favorite birthday experiences, I'd 100% go back. read more

Went to omelette bar. Told him the ingredients. He started putting ingredients in and said I'll bring it to your table. After 20 minutes, no omelet. Our group was well into eating their meals. I went back and inquired what happened to my omelet? He said sorry, I'll make it right now. After another 20 minutes still no food. Our group was now finished eating and I still hadn't had my meal. I went back a third time and same guy stated, look! Ive got 10 tickets in front of you. I'll be over In a bit? I grabbed a manager and told him what happened and he said he would have a talk with him? A girl then came to clear everyone's dishes and asked me if I still wanted my meal? I said no, we've been here over an hour and everyone ate but me and it was now time to go. Our bill was almost $400, and no discount, no food for me. I will never be back, ever and will make sure all my friends and facebook friends know. Side note. I went to use the mens room and it was filthy and stunk bad! I do not recommend this place at all. Decent variety of meats including various beef cuts, pork; chicken, and lamb. Honestly full after our market bar plate but still tried a variety of meats. Our favorite was the pork belly with honey drizzle. The other meats such as Picahna and Filet were good but nothing special. The roasted pineapple was a nice balance to all the protein. Great place for carnivore dining for sure. Also good for an occasional outing but not a place I would frequent as the meats didn't seem that special. read more

I celebrated my sons "Golden" 15th birthday here Thursday, Jan 15th. He and I both had such a good time.. He did the churasso experience, sampling all different kinds of meat all night long. If you forget to turn the coaster on red,the waiter will keep coming with meat. The service was phenomenal. Tyler our waiter was very attentive. The ambiance is easily romantic date night, birthday celebrations, etc. It is an upscale environment. With that being said please dress to Par.. Such a gorgeous, upscale vibe for a fun night out! The service here is literally actual perfection, the staff is super attentive and they constantly keep the meat skewers coming. The picanha was so incredibly juicy and flavorful. The salad bar was fully stocked and fresh, with plenty of variety and the quality you expect from Fogo--crisp greens, bold flavors, and sides that actually feel worth the trip. What really stood out, though, was the service. Even with a quiet dining room, the staff treated us with the same attention and professionalism you'd expect during dinner rush. They checked in often, made sure we had everything we needed, and kept everything moving smoothly without ever feeling rushed. Had an amazing time here, the food wasn't always the level they said whether medium or medium rare but was delicious, their market bar had awesome choices especially when restocked, it's really busy so some their option run out quickly. Their gauchos rotate at a good speed bringing you their selections, not sure the indulgence option is cost affective, but the bone marrow was good. Sadly their collective staff forgot our table and our drinks sat empty, our plates sat empty, or bill sat untaken, our dessert menu took 30 min, it's like we didn't exist after we sat down. The service and ambience were really amazing. Fogo de Chao is normally one of my favorite spots, but today they were just off. We had a party of 20 and we were told at the moment that checks can't be split. That's ok. But we had the $65 dinner and the meats like lamb chops, brisket, etc on that promotion didn't come out. So I asked to just give me the $49 meal because the $65 meal wasn't coming. After I made that statement, they started coming. But they came once in comparison to the meats on the $45 menu that came about 4 or 5 times. We NEVER received filet mignon and a lot of the meats were charred and cooked to hard. It was a bad experience food wise. The server was amazing and the managers were nice, but I may have to try the dunwoody location. read more

Have no idea how to truly share this experience! I will say, you have to go! Ok Fogo de Chao is located on Piedmont Rd in the heart of Buckhead. We parked with the complimentary valet. They work off of tips only. We entered the restaurant for our 7pm reservation. We were seated immediately to begin my birthday dinner. I ordered the MALBEC Alamos (Argentina) Wine and boo orded a coke. After we orded the drinks, another Waiter came to take our order for food. AND explained everythingWe opted for the FULL CHURRASCO.With the Full CHURRASCO, The experience that made Fogo famous, continuous tableside carving of premium Brazilian cuts like signature Picanha (prime part of top sirloin), Fraldinha (bottom sirloin), and Roasted Chicken, Bone-in Ribeye, Filet, Lamb Chops, and more. As well as the salad bar with soups, breads, cheeses, smoked salmon and candied bacon. The food was amazing! You have to pace yourself. We both received a card, one side red and the other green. Green means bring all the meats my way lol and its carved right to you and Red was the opposite, meaning I need to eat what I have first. Lol The lamb was my favorite!! Birthday dessert was a molten cake with vanilla ice cream with some cool decor written on the plate. We ended the night with paying the bill and tipping the valet. Thanks Fogo! I had to give a 2 due to the valet being full, the waiting area was over crowded and the fact that I checked in 20 minutes before our reservation but somehow they never called my name to be seated. After waiting 45 minutes after the time we were supposed to be seated I went back to the front desk only to be lied to that they texted me when I showed them the last message she said on my we must've texted the wrong number. I asked well what about calling my name like you did everyone else and she couldn't answer. The food was amazing. Servers were confused as to who had our table so they switched out 3 times. I was actually disappointed as I have been to a few fogo de chao in CA and always enjoyed them for the most part but this location wasn't that great to me. The cheese rolls are amazing but we had a bad batch that was so hard, it totally threw me off as I tried to bite into one of them. Some of their meats were really dry, especially the pork belly. The only one that stood out was the ribeye. The salad bar was pretty boring, however I enjoyed the desserts. read more

I'm really glad that I decided to come back here for my Mom's birthday after having not been here for a few years due to having a bad experience before. But I think then it was either a staffing problem or they were just having a bad staff day. This time around the experience was 100% better including the service. The selection of the salad bar is so wonderful and you'll find so many different things to try that are fresh and so delicious. And of course, the selection of meats is of course what we came for and it did not disappoint. My mom is a senior and we decided to make an early reservation and it worked out wonderfully because it wasn't super crowded and we were able to enjoy an early meal and get seated by the window. To start the pao de quejo was amazing. It was so delicates but packed with cheese at the same time. The meats came out on rotation. My only issue was that most of the meat was overcooked and lacked seasoning. The grilled chicken was the best which should be surprising given it's a Brazilian steakhouse. I also have a strawberry hibiscus cocktail. That was very good, it just did not have much hibiscus in it. Overall, this was a good experience. I am not sure if it was good enough to return again. I've been wanting to come to Fogo for years but just never quite got the time until today and unfortunately I don't plan on returning anytime soon. Booking a reservation was seamless and easy I even signed up for the rewards program through the reservation prompts. Upon arriving valet is your only option but it's complimentary and we tipped when leaving. When I checked in with the host we were sat fairly quick with our server who started the dining experience off really great I'm guessing since I told her it was my first time. However after she brought out waters we never saw her again and had to find someone else to order other drinks and any other questions. Like other reviews the man with the parmesan pork came first and kept coming but as for the other meats I can't tell you much of anything because we were only offered 4 options. The parmesan pork, bacon wrapped steak which was super tough, bacon wrapped chicken, and the sirloin. I really wanted to try the lamb and heard a server mentioning lamb to a table close by but after that nothing even when I asked. I had the surf and turf and the lobster was amazing the crab cake however was an acquired taste but the other person I was with liked it. When it came time to cash out I gave one girl my card and it took 15 minutes to get it back. I watched her walk around all while having my card in her apron. Another server came and brought me a another print out and I had to tell him no she already took my card I've been waiting for her to come back. When she finally did she told us she charged us for someone else's table but not to worry because it'll fall off in a few days. Ummm how in the world did that even happen!? Now I have over $300 floating when my bill was only $135. No manager came to address it and we got a half ass apology. We were a party of 2 and used 1 card so this card mix up is inexcusable. The restaurant is nice inside and I enjoyed the cold bar selections and it wasn't overly loud so I could hear my conversation without issue. I haven't done a review in a while, but this experience was so terrible and disgusting that it pulled me out of "retirement." From the management to the wait staff to the overall cleanliness of the restaurant, this establishment is hands-down one of the worst I've ever been to. I've visited several locations of this franchise across the country, and this one ranks at the very bottom. Right away, my family and I noticed something unsettling: despite many open tables, we were sat in a corner, and we noticed this same treatment given repeatedly to other guests who looked like us. Whether it was intentional discrimination or not, the difference in service and hospitality toward other tables compared to ours was impossible to ignore. This visit was supposed to be special--it was my birthday, and it was also my sister's and her child's very first time at one of these restaurants. Our expectations were high, but instead of being celebrated, we felt disregarded. They didn't acknowledge my birthday at all, and the overall service was insulting at best. The food was another disaster. Everything brought to our table was severely overcooked or burnt. Despite repeatedly asking for specific cuts, we were skipped over multiple times, and when they finally brought something, it was never what we asked for--and still overdone. To make matters worse, my sister--who had undergone a surgery that limits how much she can eat--attempted to present her medical card, which has no name or expiration date, as is standard. Instead of handling the situation with understanding and respect, the associate repeatedly hounded her for unnecessary information, even suggesting she call or email someone on the spot. The way they badgered her was degrading, embarrassing, and deeply disrespectful to my family. No one should ever be treated that way in a restaurant. Cleanliness was equally appalling. The restrooms were filthy, with urine all over the place, and the dining area itself felt unkempt and neglected. Finally, when I raised questions about the food, service, or bill, I overheard staff talking about us behind our backs to other employees. That level of unprofessionalism is beyond unacceptable. This was not just disappointing--it was insulting, unsanitary, and flat-out unacceptable. Please, do yourself a favor: do not come here. Don't think about it, don't give it a chance--just go somewhere else entirely. This location is a complete embarrassment to the franchise and not worth your time, money, or energy. Something I forgot to mention is that my sister had surgery that limits how much she can eat, and she presented her medical card to the associate. The card doesn't have a name or date on it, but instead of showing understanding, the associate relentlessly hounded my sister--demanding an email or that she call someone to verify it. Especially last minute table reservations but walk-in's welcome !!! $63 dollars a person for the Churrasco experience (all you can eat meat cuts). When I tell you that was so good, THAT WAS SO GOOD !! The all you can eat center with salads , charcuterie board, soups, breads. Many sides available!! The service is amazing, it's like clockwork and they do not interrupt at all. As the server said, they are like one big family and all work together as one. The Cabernet Sauvignon " Tesero " was very delicious with the cuts. Such a sweet dull taste to me. ( I'm not a wine connoisseur!! ) My fiancée also tried the Sauvignon Blanc as well as the Pinot Grigio both being very sweet and delicious. The guy that was bringing us the Flank steak this night became our best friend ! He knew I started loving it and would hit our table anytime with a fresh cut off the grill. We made a reservation to celebrate my husband's birthday and it was such a great time! They have valet parking out front but signs to guide you toward the private self-parking lot if you don't want to valet. Once inside, we had a short wait in the "lounge" area while awaiting our table to be prepared. We went for the "full churrasco"experience and of course began with the salad bar. Honestly, the salad bar was more packed with things I wanted to eat (and loved) than typical at other Brazilian steakhouses. Everything was flavorful and delicious: the roasted, the eggplant, the roasted cauliflower, the chicken salad, the smoked salmon, the roasted peppers, just all love it. The meats did not disappoint, but my absolute favorite was the picanha--sooo flavorful!! of the side dishes that we ordered to the table, we loved the mashed potatoes, the most. I tried the Brazilian fried rice, and it took a really long time to come because apparently it takes them longer to prepare. Unfortunately, even though I ordered it at the beginning of the meal I was almost completely done eating by the time it actually arrived. I didn't have much space for it, but it was the item I probably enjoyed the least. That's good as the food was, the best part of the experience was the level of service. My husband commented that we couldn't go two minutes without someone checking on us. And once you told them that you wanted something, it would be out at your table swiftly. They didn't leave anything to chance. To top off our meal, they comped a dessert for my husband's birthday. We chose the tres leches cake and it was very good. Even the berries served with it were perfection. It was a large serving, and we could not finish it after all the eating we had already done. Juicy, flavorful, perfectly seasoned. I also tried the pork and chicken, but to be honest... a bit on the dry side -- definitely not the highlight. My boyfriend and I celebrated our first anniversary at the ATL Fogo de Chão. Our food was amazing, and the servers who came around with the food were great! Tory, was our waiter and he did a FANTASTIC job. I could tell he was a little dishelved but it was Valentine's Day and they had a minimum of 165 tables, so we COMPLETELY understood and he was an all around great waiter. The negative part of this review was that we had another waiter trying to overstep Tory. She was a Caucasian woman, with brown hair and a black claw clip. I want to say her name was "Lonnie". My boyfriend and I told her that our waiter was Tory, and she rolled her eyes, kept trying to listen to our conversations with him, and SHE messed up our bill, because it was starting to get piecemilled. I went here recently for a Yelp Elite event. It was mostly food from their "salad bar", which is not just lettuce and veggies. There are so many options including my favorite the candied bacon. I have been here once before and loved the food. It's a great date/celebration spot to have a classy meal out. The meats are fresh, there are so many options at the food bar and for the meats selections. The drinks are always tasty. I tried the crab at the Yelp Elite event and it was SO juicy. It's extremely rare for me to give a bad review. But this one had to be given. TLDR: second to worst service ever I've ever had in my life, did not get the full experience, awful seating, inconsistent meat quality. I'm still going to keep it fairly to the point here. We thought we were going to be late due to traffic. So we called ahead and let them know at a max we would be late 15 minutes. They said that was fine. We actually arrived on time but were told we had to wait until everyone was literally inside the building until we could be seated but we could wait in the lounge area. 5 minutes later after the car was parked I reproached the host and advised all parties were present and she repeated the same line. Wait in the lounge. What exactly am I waiting for at this point? She said once I receive a text I would be seated. I proceed to the bar, ask for an appetizer and a drink. 15 minutes later I get a text. "No worries," says the bartender, "I never put in your order! You can start over at the table." Oh you mean wait longer. I go back to the host and tell her I got my text. So now she tells me to wait in line. The line of about 30 people. While groups are approached and asked to follow, after shifting around for other groups to walk thru the floor, we get asked a second time if we had gotten a text. I say yes and after a flurry of hand signals we are told to "follow him." I start to follow a waiter thru a maze of people and tables and a half loop around the cold bar and then way over to the far back corner where they keep extra stacks of dishes. Fine. We're seated. I was never asked if I wanted to order anything to drink but was simply asked "sparkling or still water?" We were asked if anything special was being celebrated (a belated birthday dinner for me). We proceed to order the special where they parade choice cuts of meat around to you and we advise the waiter that medium and well done options were needed at the table. Cool! A rough start but hey, I give plenty of grace. After we circled the cold bar, when we returned to the table we were brought mini cheese stuffed rolls, plantains and mashed potatoes. (The mashed potatoes should have been called potato soup, they were so thin). The first round of meat came quickly. Parmesan pork and pork sausage. Both delicious! Immediately the meat stopped coming. A different server came by and asked if we were ok and we said yes but wondered when the meats would come marching in again. She said they were about to take another spin thru the dining area. Ok great! We got garlic beef (this recipe needs reworking) and another beef type (this one was SUPERB!) And who do we see again? Mr Parmesan pork! (This gentleman essentially ran a marathon with those pork skewers, he made more rotations around the dining area than I have made around the sun!) Then we got neighbors! A 16 member party was seated so close to the back of our chairs that I had to get up sideways and chose just not to get up anymore. They were nice neighbors and initially we thought we would see more food since they would have to circulate the meats to that table. And initially we did! Chicken thighs, chicken drums, bacon wrapped beef, and bacon wrapped chicken! But after serving our neighbors we seldom got any of the leftovers. Then our waiter appeared to bring want water. We asked about the filet mignon, the lamb chops, top sirloin, and another lamb cut (can't recall the name) and were told "oh they're coming around, I'll make sure they bring some back here." The filet NEVER arrived. The lamb chops were divine and came as we were ordering dessert (2 lamb chops in 2 hours is pretty abysmal). My complimentary dessert did come with "Happy birthday" written in chocolate syrup. My date thought it said happy bi... Nevermind. Also the "well done" servings were the charred parts of the medium cuts they bought around. $130 Very disappointing read more

The food was amazing however there is a lot to be desired! The seating in cramped as to fit as many as allowed by the fire code, or more! We were a part of 4 and were sat in the back by a wall - not a problem. The issue was that we were sat by a large party of at least 20 and other parties around us was 6 - 10. With that being said we had to wait extremely long periods for the meats to come around. In addition to that, one person in our party only eats well done and he had to wait even longer. The bar was often out of items as well. Now the servers, host, hostess, were all over the place doing everything to maintain a great experience. I loved the attention that they did give to everyone. Self parking leaves you parking on a steep slope or making a small hike to get back to the front door. The waiting lounge is a nice touch for those waiting for a table. My wait was only 5 minutes but the waiting area with tables and chairs is a nice touch. The selection of meats at this AYCE spot is delicious and cooked to perfection. The salad bar offers a variety of great options for those looking for lighter fare. The creme brulee is a must-try dessert, absolutely delicious. Just isn't as great as I remembered. I still love the little cheese rolls (pão de queijo). That's all that remains the same. All the meats tasted the same- super salty. I honesty couldn't differentiate between the cuts. Of course chicken and lamb are different but still salty. The salad bar was fine but nothing memorable. Service also average. Fogo de Wait: Was there for at least two hours. You can have as much Pork Belly and Sausage as you want but as for the beef items they only came to our table once for each. For that price I should not have to beg. Service also slow, drink wait time and clean plates an issue. Had the beet salad, it was good but had the juice on my plate, they came and tried to just put the rest of my meal right on top no clean plate. Several offered me food I said no because of the used plate not one offered a clean one. Finally stopped someone and asked 10 minutes later a clean plate came. I will try another company. read more

This might be my lowest scoring review I've ever left, and it's well warranted. So Congratulations on that!! I took my mom and my entire family (party of 6) here for my mother's birthday. The night we went the weather was HORRIBLE. A complete monsoon, we stopped in front of the restaurant near the valet stand where there were 3 valets, and not one of them helped unload the car or brought an umbrella. Luckily I had one so I walked everyone into the restaurant. I didn't think anything about it until I saw another car pull up behind us and the valets all grabbed an umbrella and unloaded that car.....................interpret that as you will. But surely the food can't be as bad as the service? Right?? All the meat was over seasoned with salt and tasted bad. The quality of the meat was horrible, our waitress was not very hospitable. Just a 5/5 horrible dining experience. I hope Fogo de Chão enjoyed my money and this review, because this is all they will ever get from me. You're welcome! read more
