Lamb chops, pork sausages, and variety of steaks

I celebrated my sons "Golden" 15th birthday here Thursday, Jan 15th. He and I both had such a good time.. He did the churasso experience, sampling all different kinds of meat all night long. If you forget to turn the coaster on red,the waiter will keep coming with meat. The service was phenomenal. Tyler our waiter was very attentive. The ambiance is easily romantic date night, birthday celebrations, etc. It is an upscale environment. With that being said please dress to Par.. Lastly,.my son was able.to meet Shaquille O'Neal because he happen to be dining at the same time..Besides me capturing a blurry photo it was a great restaurant and night. .

We stopped into Fogo de Chão for a lunchtime buffet, and even though the restaurant was on the slower side, everything about the experience was excellent. The salad bar was fully stocked and fresh, with plenty of variety and the quality you expect from Fogo--crisp greens, bold flavors, and sides that actually feel worth the trip. What really stood out, though, was the service. Even with a quiet dining room, the staff treated us with the same attention and professionalism you'd expect during dinner rush. They checked in often, made sure we had everything we needed, and kept everything moving smoothly without ever feeling rushed. Overall, the food was Excellent from the Picanha to the candied bacon, the atmosphere was calm, and the service was top-notch. A solid lunchtime stop that reminded us why Fogo de Chão stays a favorite.

Had an amazing time here, the food wasn't always the level they said whether medium or medium rare but was delicious, their market bar had awesome choices especially when restocked, it's really busy so some their option run out quickly. Their gauchos rotate at a good speed bringing you their selections, not sure the indulgence option is cost affective, but the bone marrow was good. Sadly their collective staff forgot our table and our drinks sat empty, our plates sat empty, or bill sat untaken, our dessert menu took 30 min, it's like we didn't exist after we sat down. For $600 I think maybe, just maybe a place that charges for water should pay attention to their patrons.

The service and ambience were really amazing. Fogo de Chao is normally one of my favorite spots, but today they were just off. We had a party of 20 and we were told at the moment that checks can't be split. That's ok. But we had the $65 dinner and the meats like lamb chops, brisket, etc on that promotion didn't come out. So I asked to just give me the $49 meal because the $65 meal wasn't coming. After I made that statement, they started coming. But they came once in comparison to the meats on the $45 menu that came about 4 or 5 times. We NEVER received filet mignon and a lot of the meats were charred and cooked to hard. It was a bad experience food wise. The server was amazing and the managers were nice, but I may have to try the dunwoody location.

Have no idea how to truly share this experience! I will say, you have to go! Ok Fogo de Chao is located on Piedmont Rd in the heart of Buckhead. We parked with the complimentary valet. They work off of tips only. We entered the restaurant for our 7pm reservation. We were seated immediately to begin my birthday dinner. I ordered the MALBEC Alamos (Argentina) Wine and boo orded a coke. After we orded the drinks, another Waiter came to take our order for food. AND explained everythingWe opted for the FULL CHURRASCO.With the Full CHURRASCO, The experience that made Fogo famous, continuous tableside carving of premium Brazilian cuts like signature Picanha (prime part of top sirloin), Fraldinha (bottom sirloin), and Roasted Chicken, Bone-in Ribeye, Filet, Lamb Chops, and more. As well as the salad bar with soups, breads, cheeses, smoked salmon and candied bacon. The food was amazing! You have to pace yourself. We both received a card, one side red and the other green. Green means bring all the meats my way lol and its carved right to you and Red was the opposite, meaning I need to eat what I have first. Lol The lamb was my favorite!! Birthday dessert was a molten cake with vanilla ice cream with some cool decor written on the plate. We ended the night with paying the bill and tipping the valet. Thanks Fogo! Here are some photos.

I had to give a 2 due to the valet being full, the waiting area was over crowded and the fact that I checked in 20 minutes before our reservation but somehow they never called my name to be seated. After waiting 45 minutes after the time we were supposed to be seated I went back to the front desk only to be lied to that they texted me when I showed them the last message she said on my we must've texted the wrong number. I asked well what about calling my name like you did everyone else and she couldn't answer. The food was amazing. Servers were confused as to who had our table so they switched out 3 times. The ambiance was very nice and the restrooms were really clean. For what I paid the service should have been a lot better. Management asked me to email them but never responded. Lol

I was actually disappointed as I have been to a few fogo de chao in CA and always enjoyed them for the most part but this location wasn't that great to me. The cheese rolls are amazing but we had a bad batch that was so hard, it totally threw me off as I tried to bite into one of them. Some of their meats were really dry, especially the pork belly. The only one that stood out was the ribeye. The salad bar was pretty boring, however I enjoyed the desserts.

I'm really glad that I decided to come back here for my Mom's birthday after having not been here for a few years due to having a bad experience before. But I think then it was either a staffing problem or they were just having a bad staff day. This time around the experience was 100% better including the service. The selection of the salad bar is so wonderful and you'll find so many different things to try that are fresh and so delicious. And of course, the selection of meats is of course what we came for and it did not disappoint. My mom is a senior and we decided to make an early reservation and it worked out wonderfully because it wasn't super crowded and we were able to enjoy an early meal and get seated by the window. It really is a great place to go for a date night or birthday celebration or honestly just to enjoy some great food. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Service was amazing. I love that there is parking available whether free self-parking or complimentary valet. I dined with some friends and we enjoyed the full experience. To start the pao de quejo was amazing. It was so delicates but packed with cheese at the same time. The meats came out on rotation. My only issue was that most of the meat was overcooked and lacked seasoning. The grilled chicken was the best which should be surprising given it's a Brazilian steakhouse. I also have a strawberry hibiscus cocktail. That was very good, it just did not have much hibiscus in it. Overall, this was a good experience. I am not sure if it was good enough to return again. However, I enjoyed the time with friends.

I haven't done a review in a while, but this experience was so terrible and disgusting that it pulled me out of "retirement." From the management to the wait staff to the overall cleanliness of the restaurant, this establishment is hands-down one of the worst I've ever been to. I've visited several locations of this franchise across the country, and this one ranks at the very bottom. Right away, my family and I noticed something unsettling: despite many open tables, we were sat in a corner, and we noticed this same treatment given repeatedly to other guests who looked like us. Whether it was intentional discrimination or not, the difference in service and hospitality toward other tables compared to ours was impossible to ignore. This visit was supposed to be special--it was my birthday, and it was also my sister's and her child's very first time at one of these restaurants. Our expectations were high, but instead of being celebrated, we felt disregarded. They didn't acknowledge my birthday at all, and the overall service was insulting at best. The food was another disaster. Everything brought to our table was severely overcooked or burnt. Despite repeatedly asking for specific cuts, we were skipped over multiple times, and when they finally brought something, it was never what we asked for--and still overdone. To make matters worse, my sister--who had undergone a surgery that limits how much she can eat--attempted to present her medical card, which has no name or expiration date, as is standard. Instead of handling the situation with understanding and respect, the associate repeatedly hounded her for unnecessary information, even suggesting she call or email someone on the spot. The way they badgered her was degrading, embarrassing, and deeply disrespectful to my family. No one should ever be treated that way in a restaurant. Cleanliness was equally appalling. The restrooms were filthy, with urine all over the place, and the dining area itself felt unkempt and neglected. Finally, when I raised questions about the food, service, or bill, I overheard staff talking about us behind our backs to other employees. That level of unprofessionalism is beyond unacceptable. This was not just disappointing--it was insulting, unsanitary, and flat-out unacceptable. Please, do yourself a favor: do not come here. Don't think about it, don't give it a chance--just go somewhere else entirely. This location is a complete embarrassment to the franchise and not worth your time, money, or energy. Something I forgot to mention is that my sister had surgery that limits how much she can eat, and she presented her medical card to the associate. The card doesn't have a name or date on it, but instead of showing understanding, the associate relentlessly hounded my sister--demanding an email or that she call someone to verify it. She continuously spoke down to her and degraded my family in a way I wouldn't wish on anyone else.

This place is F-ING awesome ! Great random date night. Especially last minute table reservations but walk-in's welcome !!! $63 dollars a person for the Churrasco experience (all you can eat meat cuts). When I tell you that was so good, THAT WAS SO GOOD !! The all you can eat center with salads , charcuterie board, soups, breads. Many sides available!! The service is amazing, it's like clockwork and they do not interrupt at all. As the server said, they are like one big family and all work together as one. The Cabernet Sauvignon " Tesero " was very delicious with the cuts. Such a sweet dull taste to me. ( I'm not a wine connoisseur!! ) My fiancée also tried the Sauvignon Blanc as well as the Pinot Grigio both being very sweet and delicious. The guy that was bringing us the Flank steak this night became our best friend ! He knew I started loving it and would hit our table anytime with a fresh cut off the grill. Man that was so good I cannot wait to visit again ! We came here after spending time at the High Art Museum. This was a great dinner date experience for the both of us. The place is very elegant with vibes. Very clean and friendly. Overall 9/10. Love the place and can't wait to go again !!

We made a reservation to celebrate my husband's birthday and it was such a great time! They have valet parking out front but signs to guide you toward the private self-parking lot if you don't want to valet. Once inside, we had a short wait in the "lounge" area while awaiting our table to be prepared. We went for the "full churrasco"experience and of course began with the salad bar. Honestly, the salad bar was more packed with things I wanted to eat (and loved) than typical at other Brazilian steakhouses. Everything was flavorful and delicious: the roasted, the eggplant, the roasted cauliflower, the chicken salad, the smoked salmon, the roasted peppers, just all love it. The meats did not disappoint, but my absolute favorite was the picanha--sooo flavorful!! of the side dishes that we ordered to the table, we loved the mashed potatoes, the most. I tried the Brazilian fried rice, and it took a really long time to come because apparently it takes them longer to prepare. Unfortunately, even though I ordered it at the beginning of the meal I was almost completely done eating by the time it actually arrived. I didn't have much space for it, but it was the item I probably enjoyed the least. That's good as the food was, the best part of the experience was the level of service. My husband commented that we couldn't go two minutes without someone checking on us. And once you told them that you wanted something, it would be out at your table swiftly. They didn't leave anything to chance. To top off our meal, they comped a dessert for my husband's birthday. We chose the tres leches cake and it was very good. Even the berries served with it were perfection. It was a large serving, and we could not finish it after all the eating we had already done. I cannot say enough good things about our experience at this location. We will absolutely be back. I would recommend going here to anyone.

Can I order the $44 dinner special if three others in my group want the full price meal?

I would call to be sure, but I think so. When I went, 2 of us had the lunch special and our 3rd party just had the salad bar. Just be sure to double check the bill before paying.

I'm not confident. They do have outdoor seating, but I do not think they are pet friendly. The best way to know is to call them. +1 (404) 266-9988

We were there celebrating our engagement, and they made it feel so special by decorating our table with rings and confetti to celebrate our love. Our server gave us so much attention and made the experience feel personal. Since it was our first time there, they took the time to walk us through some of the best items on and off the menu, and shared their favorite dishes. Everything was done with care. The restaurant was clean, the bathroom was amazing, and the food was worth every dollar. The short rib was so tender, and the New York strip was seasoned to perfection and cooked medium well just how we like it. The twice-baked potato loaded with bacon, sour cream, chives, and cheese was delicious, and the mac and cheese was so good. I also appreciated that they allowed me to order it without the roasted saltine crackers. I can't wait to visit again!

Bones has old money vibes - for example, the receptionist referred to us as Mr. and Ms. which I felt like was very polite and again, traditional. We were celebrating my birthday, and they pre-decorated our table a little bit! We got special print-out menus that said "Happy Birthday" and the table had a little bit of confetti on it! It was a nice gesture to be welcomed with. Our server, Michael, was great at being attentive (without being overly attentive), and providing recs/answering our questions. We went with the Crab and Lobster Napoleon for our app, the Ribeye to split, and a side of their famous Hash Browns. Everything was very good!! I will let the pictures speak for themselves, but all the food comes out hot, fresh, and with good flavor. I really do recommend getting the Hash Browns - it sounds a little silly to order such a dish at a steakhouse, but try it for yourself :) All dishes have a good portion size so keep that in mind when ordering! While not pictured, I do have to give a shoutout to the complimentary bread service - their bread is real good. Hot and fluffy on the inside, crispy on the outside. Try not to get full off the bread alone. For dessert, Bones surprised us with literally the tallest and thickest slice of ice cream cake I've ever seen! My jaw dropped. I love ice cream cake and it was awesome to be treated to some!! I already thought that the table decorations and the special menu were enough to recognize my birthday, but this is the generosity of Bones. I will absolutely be returning some day! If not for the amazing food, then for the equally amazing hospitality! Thank you Bones for a wonderful birthday! Note: Complimentary valet parking ONLY. We asked the valet person if we could just park the car but we weren't allowed to. Bring some cash for a tip.

Casi Cielo - Coliflor al Josper is a smoky and beautifully spiced vegetarian entree, dotted with avocado purée. Highly recommend!

Fives across the board…read more Casi Cielo is incredible. The space is warm and beautiful without trying too hard, and the crowd was hip and well dressed. Definitely a place to be seen and eat well. There's a parking garage but it was full when we got there, so we did valet, which was surprisingly affordable. Service was wonderful. Our server was attentive, helpful, and super knowledgeable about the menu. As for the food, we got: Aguachile de Pescado, which was insane. Super fresh, bright, citrusy, ceviche-like with perfect texture. I would go back just for that. The Hamachi was clean and bright. That avocado sauce tied everything together and gave it some depth without overpowering the fish. The Pork Belly Tostadas were crispy and rich with that smooth avocado mousse and sweet mango salsa balancing it out perfectly. Finally, the bone marrow with steak... so good. I had seen pictures of it before I came and it did not disappoint. The steak was incredibly tender. They bring blue corn tortillas and suggest making a taco with the marrow, steak, and avocado. It's great that way. But honestly, the marrow and steak stand perfectly on their own. Whole experience was excellent. Easily one of my favorite spots in the city now.

Wanted to love it…read more The vibes are there, the staff is genuinely lovely, and there's real potential here, we just had a bit of an adventure getting through the meal. We had someone in our party with a gluten allergy, and our sweet server was doing his absolute best, bless. We were steered away from the tostadas as a starter due to gluten concerns, so we pivoted to guac...which then arrived with a gluten-free tostada. So the tostadas would have been totally fine! Then a good while after we'd all ordered, she was told her entrée had gluten and needed to be changed. She reordered, and almost immediately, the rest of the table's food came out. So we were left choosing between eating without her or letting everything go cold. And the plantains she'd reordered around, because she'd been told they couldn't be made gluten-free? Turns out they absolutely can be. Just miss after miss there. The spicy margarita was more of a margarita that once passed a jalapeño on the street. I asked for extra jalapeño juice and they were happy to help, but without the seeds and ribs it just couldn't deliver on the heat. I'd skip the margs next visit. This just wasn't quite the relaxed easy dinner we'd hoped for, and the price point feels like it's a step ahead of where the experience currently lands. But I'm rooting for them to get there!

Marcel was absolutely impeccable. I had been aiming to cross this restaurant off our our list and…read moretoday was the day I was able to do that. It did not disappoint - in fact, it exceeded my expectations. First of all, Ken was an excellent server. He was paced, attentive, informative, and communicative throughout our experience. We were also celebrating our anniversary, and he and the staff made sure to make the occasion memorable (won't give away to keep it special for you). The food was amazing from beginning to end. First, the bread service was prompt, warm, soft, and served with ricotta. Next, the Ceasar salad was made next to where we sat - and to see them mixing the salads so meticulously down to mixing the dressing from scratch was one of the most amazing dining experiences I've had. I love a good Ceasar - and this was amongst the best. We also ordered the Oysters Marcel - and they were so fresh and bright. For our main course, my wife ordered the bone-in filet. It was cooked to perfection (medium rare - medium). I enjoyed redfish topped with Jump Lump Crab Oscar sauce (with crabs). Both proteins were amazing, but I was surprised by how perfectly cooked the fish was. Delectable. For sides, we enjoyed Cream Corn Gratin and Pommes Frites Béarnaise . Both were complementary of the proteins. The dessert was a 10-Layer Chocolate Cake. It was sooo good. Sweet but not too sweet. Good as it looks. Lastly, the ambiance was amazing. It was like stepping into a portal into a different space in time - almost made you forget we were in Atlanta. It's a bit dark inside - but a well lit darkness - just like I like it. Easy to see the entire space but also feel unseen (even though you are). Overall, I'd recommend it to anyone - although we made a pact to not take anyone from our circle. We want to keep this one for us. But hopefully this write up encourages a stranger to enjoy Marcel. Merci

Walking into Marcel, one is transported to another world. A moody, retro, classic world where…read morebowties are worn unironically in a setting that could best be described as a boxing gym renovated with industrial touches to become a steakhouse in the 1940s. That world could be anywhere. It could even be in Midtown West Atlanta. Service was impeccable. Servers knew we were celebrating our anniversary and were attentive and helpful when making tough menu choices. Pacing was definitely geared toward fine dining. 40 minutes between starters and entree was a BIT long, but it went by. Steak was wonderful (a porterhouse for 2), cooked to a perfect medium rare with seasoning appropriately calibrated to not overpower. East and west coast oysters were fresh and the Marcel salad to start was underdressed and lacked flavor (I enjoyed how they plopped a mound of bleu cheese on top to mix in; I pushed this aside which my server and I laughed about. He said he'd do the same. Maybe it's a sign). Hot bread service with a spreadable cheese and prosciutto was a nice touch. The French fries are probably the best I've ever had, and the asparagus was asparagus (slightly undersalted if anything). Chocolate cake was impressive in presentation but unremarkable for flavor and consistency. My wife enjoyed her decaf coffee as the best she's had at a restaurant, but her cocktail left something to be desired and was extremely tart. A Mexican coke was perfect enough for me. The pricing here is exorbitant. The price tag isn't necessarily a problem given the caliber of dining experience and ambiance that Marcel provides, but given some of the misses on staple items (namesake salad, "famous" chocolate cake), I'm not sure that value for dollar spent is present. In transparency, our dinner comprised of the above was over $400 with tip, which was aligned with expectations walking in the door. Whether the food stood up to the actual place and pricing is a debate. I lean toward an answer of "almost, but close enough not to be insulted." If a gun was pointed at my head to pick the "best steakhouse" in Atlanta, I'd pick Bones without thinking twice. This place is a close second probably, but places like Nowaks in Sandy Springs, while not the same echelon of formality, might have Marcel beat on flavor and definitely have Marcel beat on value for the dollar. Is Marcel's concept valid and well executed? Yes, without question. Would I want somebody else to pay if I returned? Yes, without question. 4.3/5 stars

The entrance code can be obtained from their website or local hotel concierges. Dial the number on the antique phone and the door magically opens. The staff super friendly and helpful. As expected they are fully stocked with Pappy Bourbon, hard to find Amaro Noni. Ask a bartender about the ice block. The place is spacious unlike other speakeasys I've been to. I sat at the bar and had a little light banter with the bartender who is a brother looking to be in his late 30's-early 40's. When I asked about two fruity cocktails from the menu, he flat-out said he wasn't going to make them. That alone was off-putting. Trying to move forward, I asked what he specialized in, and he said he'd "come up with something." I agreed--but very clearly stated: no rum, because my body does not react well to it. After watching him make drinks for people who ordered after me, he eventually handed me a cocktail I never even saw him prepare. That already raised a flag. I took a few sips, and sure enough--my stomach immediately started reacting the exact way it does when I've had rum. When I asked what alcohol he used, he said, "I don't even know." That response alone tells you everything you need to know. At that point, I reminded him I specifically said no rum. Instead of taking accountability, he tried to argue and backtrack. Let me be clear--when a customer tells you not to use a specific liquor, you don't ignore it, guess, or "forget." That's basic service and basic respect. This situation completely threw off my evening, as I had plans afterward and ended up feeling sick. To make matters worse, I reached out to management and received no response. That lack of accountability speaks volumes. At the end of the day, this wasn't just a bad drink--it was careless service. This staff does not prioritize customer care, and that's a problem. If you choose to visit, be very direct, pay close attention, and don't assume your requests will be respected.
