I went out with some friends, and Luella really did not let us down! The staff was fantastic, and the decor was so nice, it made the whole place feel special. The food was also incredibly delicious and packed with flavor. The stuffed mushrooms were a real highlight--they were a special, imported from Italy, and then there were the stuffed Wagyu ravioli. The chocolate cake was the perfect finishing touch, making the whole meal complete. It was also nice because the chef came over towards the end of our meal to chat with us and ask how we enjoyed everything.

No visible child policy at point of reservation

We were genuinely excited to dine at Luella and made our reservation well in advance. At no point during the booking process--especially on OpenTable--was there any mention of a child‑related policy. Because nothing in the reservation flow indicated otherwise, we had no reason to think bringing our infant would be an issue. Then, on the day of our reservation, we received a call informing us of the policy. Only after receiving this call did we discover that the restaurant does have a nebulously worded "no children under 10" rule, but it's tucked away in a buried section of their website rather than presented anywhere a guest would naturally see it while making a reservation. To be clear: I fully respect a business's right to set its own rules. What I don't respect is a lack of transparency and basic courtesy. This policy should be disclosed upfront, especially when a reservation explicitly notes an infant. Instead, we were blindsided with last‑minute notice, forcing us to scramble and adjust plans for family who had traveled into town. This was entirely avoidable and, frankly, rude. If Luella wants to enforce age restrictions, that's their prerogative. But hiding the policy, failing to surface it during the reservation process, and only mentioning it hours before the meal is unacceptable. For a restaurant positioning itself as a premium Buckhead dining experience, the lack of professionalism was surprising and disappointing. Atlanta has plenty of excellent restaurants that value their guests' time and communicate clearly. We'll be choosing one of them next time.

Absolute vibe, this place can be both chic and laid back, people in suits and ties and jeans and boots. We sat at a high top in the bar and it had great energy so I'd recommend this place for happy hours and late cocktails. Brooke provided fantastic service and was super knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered the Caesar salad, burrata and ribeye. Very happy with those choices, great flavor and presentation. And hope to come back to try a few other things. Great date spot or place for a celebration

I've been wanting to try this place for a while so I finally decided to take myself to dinner this past Saturday. I arrived at about 7:30pm. I had no reservation and the bar was mostly full but the manager Andrew found a single seat at the bar. My bartender was David and he made the best drinks. Both gave great recommendations on food. I loved the Gouda fries. I'll definitely be back to try the pasta and a few more cocktails. This place was really chill and had good music.

I went to Luella for NYE + my anniversary and had the perfect night. From the host stand to our server, Sonya, everyone was great. The decor in here is so chic. We started with the Gouda fries, great choice. For entrees we had the crab & artichoke lasagna, roasted half chicken, Brussels, and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were complimentary because the kitchen wasn't satisfied with the first batch of Brussels they prepared so they gave us the potatoes while we waited for a new serving. Great customer service move! I will definitely be back!

Carpaccio was my personal favorite. The veal parm was the best thing to hit the table. Service was top notch, both at the bar for cocktails before and at the table. The vibe inside is the perfect amount of old school decor and great playlist mix. Valet only for parking.

Had dinner with my sisters to celebrate a birthday. I live in NY and was in town for a few days. I mention NY because you know my bar is high in regard to fine dinning and steak houses. The entrance catches your eye when you walk up. That is a sign you're in for a treat. We were seated right away, in the back room with the fireplace and the Christmas tree. That was the perfect vibe we needed. Now for the food. The waiter, so sorry I forget his name was so pleasant. I also loved that he was proactive with his recommendations. We shared the following. The Crab Cake, Rosemary Focaccia, Tomahawk, Brussels Sprouts, Gouda Fries, Carrot Cake, and Chocolate Cake. The portions are generous and everything was amazing. Like I mentioned, I'm from NY and I know a good steak and let me tell you, this hit the mark. All around 10. If you can get a res, you need to check it out. Next time I'm in town I def will.

Such an incredible evening spent at Luella celebrating the opening of Buckhead's newest dining jewel! Walking in the door, we were blown away by the elegant design & color drenched atmosphere, every attention to detail is thoughtfully curated! Truly, a stellar & magical experience from the out of the world small plates to our main courses & sides to share, then onto to desserts! Not to be missed is their gorgeous bar & crafted margaritas, best I've ever had! Luella is just what this city needed to bring back the ART of fine dining in an extraordinarily mouth watering and artful style! Every dish was a standout from this creative and decadent menu, so hard to make the decision on what to save for next time! Our server Kai (and his team) was not only attentive and professional, he delivered with excellence in his table side manner, recommendations and knowledge of each dish! Where to start: Don't sleep on the small plates! Decadent Italian cheese Pugliese Burrata, braised beef Wagyu croquettes, melt in your mouth smoked chili butter crab cakes, and the rosemary focaccia with nocellara olive oil... ALL outstanding! We then moved onto the incredible spicy lobster rigatoni with vodka sauce, the crisp ceasar salad & the Luella salad with charred scallion + benne seed dressing to share! Every bite better than the last, on all 3!! Main course & sides to share: we were ready to get into the rock stars of the menu, the steaks! 3 of us has the mouth watering 12oz Luella signature bone in filet cooked to perfection and 1 had the unbelievable 20oz bone in ribeye! We shared gouda fries, white balsamic glaze brussel sprouts, cultured butter whipped potatoes and the Marsala glazed wild mushrooms! WoW, each extraordinary and not to be missed! We closed out the evening (even though we were full to the brim) with another margarita ;) and shared the gorgeous bananas foster cheesecake & delicious chocolate and pistachio budino Italian custard. Both straight out of the clouds! THANK you Luella... for bringing your vision to fruition, for such an amazing night to slow down, connect with family, take our taste buds to the stars and to share in the joy & creative artistry of Chef Stuart making his magic in the cuisine of his dreams! Bravo, well done from start to finish! 1000/10!

I've been to Luella twice. The first time was when it was when it first opened for my bf's bday. Everything from the food, to the service, to the ambience was so good I decided to come back for an early vday dinner with my bf. Before I get into the cons, I do want to mention that the only reason this review is a 3 is because of one of the managers who accommodated us and immediately took action into correcting the cons. I think his name is Ju-won. Your hospitality and diligence is highly appreciated and would only consider going back because of him. We had reservations at 9pm and walked in at 8:55. Our table wasn't ready yet so they sat us at the bar as we wait for our table.. no worries. We ordered a round of shots and drinks as we wait. When our table was ready, the host said she would transfer our drinks to our table as any restaurant would. The bartender at the bar (brown skin with dreads) insisted my bf carry 4 drinks by himself and said "you not gonna get that bro?" Bro? Extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. Our server did not write down our order, nor did he repeat our order make sure everything was correct. We had to wait for dishes that he misheard us order, middle tables were extremely close so waitresses and waitors will bump into your table. Food 8/10. It's nice being able to order sushi, pasta, and steak all in one place. Expect a wait for each dish, especially sushi. Caesar salad had lemon slices which was a pleasant surprise. Gouda fries was pretty mid. Broccolini was amazing. Can't go wrong with rigatoni, it's comparable to carbone's. Ambience 10/10. Dark & sexy.

We were there celebrating our engagement, and they made it feel so special by decorating our table with rings and confetti to celebrate our love. Our server gave us so much attention and made the experience feel personal. Since it was our first time there, they took the time to walk us through some of the best items on and off the menu, and shared their favorite dishes. Everything was done with care. The restaurant was clean, the bathroom was amazing, and the food was worth every dollar. The short rib was so tender, and the New York strip was seasoned to perfection and cooked medium well just how we like it. The twice-baked potato loaded with bacon, sour cream, chives, and cheese was delicious, and the mac and cheese was so good. I also appreciated that they allowed me to order it without the roasted saltine crackers. I can't wait to visit again!

Bones has old money vibes - for example, the receptionist referred to us as Mr. and Ms. which I felt like was very polite and again, traditional. We were celebrating my birthday, and they pre-decorated our table a little bit! We got special print-out menus that said "Happy Birthday" and the table had a little bit of confetti on it! It was a nice gesture to be welcomed with. Our server, Michael, was great at being attentive (without being overly attentive), and providing recs/answering our questions. We went with the Crab and Lobster Napoleon for our app, the Ribeye to split, and a side of their famous Hash Browns. Everything was very good!! I will let the pictures speak for themselves, but all the food comes out hot, fresh, and with good flavor. I really do recommend getting the Hash Browns - it sounds a little silly to order such a dish at a steakhouse, but try it for yourself :) All dishes have a good portion size so keep that in mind when ordering! While not pictured, I do have to give a shoutout to the complimentary bread service - their bread is real good. Hot and fluffy on the inside, crispy on the outside. Try not to get full off the bread alone. For dessert, Bones surprised us with literally the tallest and thickest slice of ice cream cake I've ever seen! My jaw dropped. I love ice cream cake and it was awesome to be treated to some!! I already thought that the table decorations and the special menu were enough to recognize my birthday, but this is the generosity of Bones. I will absolutely be returning some day! If not for the amazing food, then for the equally amazing hospitality! Thank you Bones for a wonderful birthday! Note: Complimentary valet parking ONLY. We asked the valet person if we could just park the car but we weren't allowed to. Bring some cash for a tip.

Definitely a place to be seen and eat well. There's a parking garage but it was full when we got there, so we did valet, which was surprisingly affordable. Service was wonderful. Our server was attentive, helpful, and super knowledgeable about the menu. As for the food, we got: Aguachile de Pescado, which was insane. Super fresh, bright, citrusy, ceviche-like with perfect texture. I would go back just for that. The Hamachi was clean and bright. That avocado sauce tied everything together and gave it some depth without overpowering the fish. The Pork Belly Tostadas were crispy and rich with that smooth avocado mousse and sweet mango salsa balancing it out perfectly. Finally, the bone marrow with steak... so good. I had seen pictures of it before I came and it did not disappoint. The steak was incredibly tender. They bring blue corn tortillas and suggest making a taco with the marrow, steak, and avocado. It's great that way. But honestly, the marrow and steak stand perfectly on their own. Whole experience was excellent. Easily one of my favorite spots in the city now.

Right when we walked in, the staff complained to us that we hadn't called ahead to have a "smaller, special menu" crafted for a large party. To make matters worse, they loudly announced to the whole table right off rip that they wouldn't split checks separately--only an even split. It felt incredibly rude, lazy, and unwelcoming. The irony is that the large group size wasn't even an issue; we staggered our arrivals and the patio was completely empty. The kicker- my brother in law ended up paying the whole tab at the end anyways! so all of that initial laziness & nastiness for NOTHING! Throughout the night, the service felt incredibly rushed and stressed. While we were still eating our appetizers, the busser was aggressively trying to clear our plates because the mains were coming. Our server was very short with us the entire time, which was confusing because the restaurant didn't even have a stressful vibe. She recommended a main dish to me that I really didn't care for, though I will say the salsa was unique and probably the best part of the meal. Shoutout to the one staff member who was actually friendly, but overall, this is not the kind of place where you leave feeling like you had a nice restaurant experience- at least I personally didn't.. Too bad we didn't just go to C&S next door which we always love. Regardless tho, my sister had a blast, but that's entirely because she has a wonderful crew of great friends, not because of Casi Cielo.

Combined with the exceptional service and beautiful ambiance, the experience left a lasting impression and made me want to return for another try. That opportunity came this past Sunday. The bread service was just as amazing as I remembered. My boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed the Caesar salad, especially the freshly grated cheese, which he said was incredibly light and airy. As for the Lobster Risotto, it exceeded my expectations in both flavor and portion size. The risotto itself was somewhat mild on its own, but once I mixed in the herb butter, it became absolutely delicious. The lobster itself was very tender and tasty, I loved it. That world could be anywhere. It could even be in Midtown West Atlanta. Service was impeccable. Servers knew we were celebrating our anniversary and were attentive and helpful when making tough menu choices. Pacing was definitely geared toward fine dining. 40 minutes between starters and entree was a BIT long, but it went by. Steak was wonderful (a porterhouse for 2), cooked to a perfect medium rare with seasoning appropriately calibrated to not overpower. East and west coast oysters were fresh and the Marcel salad to start was underdressed and lacked flavor (I enjoyed how they plopped a mound of bleu cheese on top to mix in; I pushed this aside which my server and I laughed about. He said he'd do the same. Maybe it's a sign). Hot bread service with a spreadable cheese and prosciutto was a nice touch. The French fries are probably the best I've ever had, and the asparagus was asparagus (slightly undersalted if anything). Chocolate cake was impressive in presentation but unremarkable for flavor and consistency. My wife enjoyed her decaf coffee as the best she's had at a restaurant, but her cocktail left something to be desired and was extremely tart. A Mexican coke was perfect enough for me. The pricing here is exorbitant. The price tag isn't necessarily a problem given the caliber of dining experience and ambiance that Marcel provides, but given some of the misses on staple items (namesake salad, "famous" chocolate cake), I'm not sure that value for dollar spent is present. In transparency, our dinner comprised of the above was over $400 with tip, which was aligned with expectations walking in the door. Whether the food stood up to the actual place and pricing is a debate. I lean toward an answer of "almost, but close enough not to be insulted." If a gun was pointed at my head to pick the "best steakhouse" in Atlanta, I'd pick Bones without thinking twice. This place is a close second probably, but places like Nowaks in Sandy Springs, while not the same echelon of formality, might have Marcel beat on flavor and definitely have Marcel beat on value for the dollar. Is Marcel's concept valid and well executed? Yes, without question. Would I want somebody else to pay if I returned? Yes, without question. 4.3/5 stars

I could tell they allowed equal time to cook and rest before delivering it to me. Prices are reasonable for the culinary experience and the quality meal you receive. Thank me later. Go and enjoy a special night out tonight!

I can't count the number of times I've driven past this place. Honestly, if I hadn't been invited…read morehere for a birthday dinner, I probably never would've tried it -- and now I'm so glad I did. Our waiter was incredibly sweet and patient with us, especially since we were a little indecisive and had plenty of questions. The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated, clean, and had a really nice atmosphere. I started with the lychee martini, which is easily in my top five lychee martinis I've had. The bread was a little underwhelming, but the butter made up for it. For my entrée, I ordered the wet-aged 16oz ribeye cooked medium, and wow -- it was phenomenal. Crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked, juicy, and served sizzling straight from the skillet. I got the green peppercorn sauce on the side, but honestly, the steak didn't even need it. For my side, I chose the Brussels sprouts with the delicious yuzu drizzle. I also sampled the truffle fries, creamed spinach, and lobster mac and cheese -- all were really good, but the creamed spinach completely stole the show. I will say the food took a while to come out, but they absolutely made up for it because everything tasted amazing. To top it off, someone from management brought complimentary celebratory lemon drop shots for the birthday girl. I'll definitely be dining at Little Alley again!

Decided to do a date night at Little Alley Steak in Buckhead, and booking through OpenTable was…read morequick and easy. We arrived using the valet service, which usually makes dinner much more convenient. Unfortunately, this was probably the weakest part of the experience. The valet attendants weren't very welcoming, seemed a bit disorganized, and there was no one to open the door upon arrival. We also had to wait for our valet ticket, and retrieving our car at the end of the evening took much longer than expected. There's definitely room for improvement in this area. Once inside, check-in with the host was smooth, and we were seated on the outdoor patio with a beautiful view on a perfect summer evening. Our server, Jason, was phenomenal. He was attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu, and had impeccable timing throughout the meal. He truly elevated the experience and is a great asset to the restaurant. I would absolutely request him again on a future visit. For appetizers, I highly recommend the fried Maine lobster tail--it was perfectly fried, well-seasoned, and delicious. The Kobe meatballs were good but didn't quite stand out enough to rave about. For our entrée, we shared the 24-ounce porterhouse with lobster mac and cheese and Brussels sprouts. Everything was well prepared, and we had no complaints about the meal. To drink, I ordered two vodka martinis and the guava vodka spritzer. The martinis were exactly what you'd expect, but the guava vodka spritzer stole the show. It was refreshing, beautifully crafted, and the perfect cocktail for a summer evening on the patio. My significant other enjoyed a glass of wine, and the wine selection appeared to offer plenty of options. One thing that stood out was the manager, Brit, making a point to greet several surrounding tables. We appreciated that level of hospitality and were actually looking forward to complimenting Jason's outstanding service. However, despite making eye contact, our table was completely skipped--no greeting, no smile, no acknowledgment. Combined with the disappointing valet experience, it left us feeling overlooked. While the food was excellent and Jason made our evening memorable, the lack of hospitality from both valet and management would make me think twice before choosing Little Alley over the many other great steakhouses in Atlanta. Jason, however, is the reason this visit ended on a positive note.
