We came in on a Thursday specifically for the $49 Steak Night deal and it was honestly a great value. Make sure to ask for the special. Otherwise, they'll hand you the regular menu, which felt pretty overpriced. For an extra $20 per person, you can add two drinks, which makes the deal even better. The steaks were cooked exactly as requested, and the sides -the mac and cheese and asparagus were delicious. Also worth mentioning: the bread came out warm and fluffy, which was a nice touch. They also validate parking for two hours in the attached garage, which makes the experience more convenient. Overall, definitely worth checking out for the Steak Night deal. I hadn't been to STK in years, but returned when I was invited to a birthday dinner. My last experience here left a lot to be desired, but I kept an open mind. There are a few parking lots and a deck nearby. My first impression was it's loud. It was definitely a party atmosphere. Started off with a sidecar that was made very well. After noticing other tables had bread, someone in our party requested it and it was eventually brought out. The bread was very good and I enjoyed the chive butter that accompanied it. For my entree, I ordered the steak frites and a side of wagyu fried rice. The steak was cooked medium ask requested and the garlic butter definitely added a nice touch. The fries were bland. I looked forward to the wagyu fried rice, but it was fairly bland as well. The sauce that came with it made it better. There were several birthdays and even a few engagements. I ordered the lil waygu beef sliders which were really good. Tastes like an elevated Big Ma from Mickey D's. I'm not a steak person so I'm glad they had other entree options to choose from. I got the sea bass. It was good. Not rave worthy. But decent. The sweet sauce threw me off a bit. The asparagus were grilled and a nice healthy size. The Mac n cheese was good as well. Not runny but is made Southern style. The dessert was the disappointing part. It took a good 25-30 minutes to come and they arrived cold. Our server truly began to slack towards the end. Part of my anniversary weekend me an my wife went STK Steakhouse yesterday and everything hit right. My cowgirl steak cooked medium well was juicy and full of flavor, just how I like it. The Yukon parmesan crusted potatoes were on point, and that cream spinach set it off. My wife's lamb chops though... next level . That said, the food is extremely overpriced, especially for dinner. They do offer a happy hour menu, which I ordered from, but it isn't available until 9:00 PM. That worked out for us since our reservation was at 8:00 PM. One thing to note: they wanted to charge us $55 just to cut a cake, which felt excessive. Overall, the food was okay, but not impressive enough to justify the pricing. They do validate parking for two hours if you park in the deck, but after that it's $3 every 30 minutes. Strange but no big deal. Food was excellent but service very slow. Not a consistent check in of "how are you all doing?" We spent over $2K, I feel like we shouldn't have to track anyone down, but again great food. We also had some drinks at the bar and the receipt is emailed. (We did not get it.) Could have been our fault but we went back the next day to get a copy of the receipt and the 2 2 behind the bar were not helpful at all. We waited and waited for manager but no show. I was visiting Atlanta for a conference and STK was right by my hotel so my husband, son, and I decided to give it a try. The atmosphere is gorgeous and I like their half circle booths. I was able to reserve a table less than an hour that I planned to be there. It felt like a really cute date night spot. I had an idea of what I wanted since I peaked at the menu, but upon asking I was told I was looking at the pickup/delivery menu. I ended up thr braised short ribs and potatoes with a side of mac and cheese. My husband ordered the free range chicken with a side of Brussels sprouts. Drinks: Dragon's Flare and Perfect Margarita. Everything was delicious and the Brussels sprouts were the star for me. Even though I knew the price ahead of time, I still felt the restaurant was a little overpriced. Finally got a chance to stop by STK for their happy hour, I frequent this area and I have always told myself that I would stop and dine in one day. While I was between meetings I decided to take a trip. The restaurant was empty when I got inside, just how I like it. It is massive inside, when you are looking at the entrance from outside you wouldn't have a good idea of how much space it has inside. Plenty of seats, the bar area was a little small and since I was recording I sat at my own table. Service was A1, the waitress greeted me with a smile, gave me a run down on the menu, took my order quickly and I started eating not too long after I ordered. Again the restaurant was not busy, could be because it was still early, or because it was a Wednesday. But one would think more people would take advantage of the deals. Food was really good and the variety of options they had was very impressive. They have several items on the menu for $3, $6, $9. Extreme disappointment from the moment we walked in the door. We had a 6:45 reservation, showed up right at 6:45 and waited until 8:40 to be seated. Almost two hour wait WITH a reservation. The hostesses couldn't give two shits. I was entertaining clients so needless to say it was embarrassing. When finally getting seated, after walking around to find a manager, the manager assured us they would "take care of us" in the end. 2 of our four steaks came out overcooked. Wrong sides showed up. When they had new steaks cooked for us, they brought out an entirely different cut than what we ordered. I guess fhey assumed we wouldnt know the difference between the bone-in cuts we ordered and boneless cuts they brought out. The AC seemed to be on the fritz because it would cool off for just a few minutes and then the temp would creep back up to relatively uncomfortable for 30 mins before kicking back on again for a few mins. While our server tried her best to keep up with the evening, she ended up bringing out our bill that was full price (no being "taken care of" like the manager said. And on top of it, she rang us up for the steaks that were overcooked PLUS the two they sent out that were the wrong cut! They charged us for 2 additional steaks! STK is a steakhouse located in the heart of midtown. My experience was 4/5 stars overall for great steak with some room for improvement on the entrees. A large group of us visited for a birthday. Ambience and service were good. Parking is on the left side of the building and validation for parking is up to 2hrs. It gets busy and is best to have a reservation. You're going to spend a pretty penny here and should know what you're paying for. Food: I enjoyed the NY strip served medium well- coated in a dry rub, crispy on the outside with a great grilled flavor but soft and tender on the inside. Creamed spinach, Brussel sprouts and lobster mac were great complements to the steak. Other entrees such as the Maple Salmon and lobster linguini were not tasty. The lobster linguini pasta was overcooked and had no decent flavor from the sauce, too much powdered basil or thyme? and no fresh garlic was used. The lobster was not fresh at all, likely preserved . Also, it was served lukewarm to cool almost. The salmon was not tasty either, as it tasted like they poured syrup over it and seared, baked it. The braised short rib was okay. I believe the birthday guest did enjoy the lamb but critiqued that not enough fresh herbs were used for flavor and preparation for taste. Service: Our server was very friendly and attentive to our large party of 10+2children and baby. Food was served promptly. Music and decor made the experience nice for the birthday guest. We parked in a parking lot across the street. Pay $22 for three hours of parking as they only do 24 hours. Upon entry, I believe it was the manager older. African-American male was very pleasant, very welcoming, and who is the one who told us about the parking, but it was too late as we already paid. We were seated within five minutes of arrival, which was great as we did make a reservation. The waitress was awesome. The food was OK but for what we paid it should've been phenomenal. The portions for what you pay is not close what the flavor should have been. The cost for his steak only for it to arrive overcooked is insane. We mentioned it to the waitress, but we didn't make a big deal because it was my spouses birthday. I had high hopes going here as I've heard lots of good reviews, and I know that it was pretty expensive. I was let down almost immediately when we showed up to our 8 o'clock reservation and they didn't have a table ready for us. It took them about 20 minutes to seat us. The air conditioner was not turned on inside and it was so muggy and humid. I was in a dress and I was sweating. The servers were so slow and not good about refilling any of our drinks. Our server genuinely didn't know half of the menu. The food was average, but I would never pay as much as we did for this quality. Nothing about it was special, in fact a lot of it wasn't even prepared correctly. The best thing about dinner was the bread they gave you at the beginning. Which thankfully they did give us because it took over an hour to get our entrées after our appetizers. The chocolate cake at the end was pretty good but very expensive.
