Almost Cost Me My Life - Buyer Beware! I bought a $7,700 car here on 7/18/25, and less than two weeks later it almost caused a serious accident on the freeway. The motor mounts and both control arms are shot, I was quoted $2-3k (or more) just to make it safe to drive. Honestly, I probably wouldn't even be leaving this review if Ted had handled this situation professionally. But when I called for help, he yelled, "It's your problem now," and refused to do anything. He even admitted his mechanic had worked on the car before selling it, yet still wouldn't help, trade, or offer any solution. If ted is a man of God he would do the right thing. I completely understand that used cars can have issues, but this isn't a minor problem, it's dangerous, and the car was already overpriced. The lack of honesty, empathy, and basic professionalism is shocking. If you value safety and respect, stay far away from this place.It's disappointing to see this kind of response instead of accountability. The truth is the car I purchased from you turned out to be a lemon. It's also clear YOUR mechanic Fernando wasn't interested in providing an honest evaluation, makes me believe he's in cahoots with you. I gave you a chance to make things right and you were rude and started yelling. I have no reason to leave a dishonest review only to warn others of my experience so they don't end up in the same situation. read more

The owner Ted Stinson is honest and friendly. He has reasonably priced, high mileage vehicles. What you see on the website is what you get, which is refreshing. When I found a vehicle that seemed to be a good value to me, I called him up, and he told me the out the door price. I visited the next day and after a test drive where he patiently let me go on the 710 and 405 freeways to test the vehicle, I bought it for exactly the price he quoted. He is a man of his word. Note - if you are looking for a video of the vehicle or the CarFax, I found the information spread out on their Facebook page (the video) and their Offer Up page (the CarFax report). Ted told me he did the rear brakes. When I took it to my mechanic for a reconditioning -- doing maintenance and replacing items on a high mileage vehicle -- my mechanic said the rear brakes were done, just like Ted said. My Jetta was totaled and I found a car that I wanted to look at. Drove the 214 miles there to drive it and bought it. I had to bring it back for rear camera issue and when I got it back from that time which they had for a month the car has been in the shop ever since. I bought the car in April of 2023 and it is now Jan of 2024 the end of it and my car still has dealer tags, no registration or insurance and has yet to be driven by me( other then to the mechanic and back). The car has failed motor mounts that were replaced just for the sale of the car because they were brand new when they had to be replaced(which I have done now 5 times). Within 4 days of a new set they are failing and car is not able to be driven as it is not safe. I should have walked awy when i was purchasing the vehicle and an angry man and son came walking in wanting to speak with a manager. They had just bought a car as well and it isnt running and when brought to mechanic same thing(car is to broke to be corrected at this point). I should have gotten up that second and walked out. Been trying to contact them to see if they will buy this POS back but not getting any phone calls back but when I was interested in looking and test driving the car they wouldnt stop calling. read more

Do not buy from this place!!! Well unless you're a mechanic and have money to put into a piece of junk you may buy here. Story: Bought a van for a veteran and his family. Ted told us that everything was good with the vehicle. Paid cash, then 2 days later there was an issue with the van. I reached out to him informing him that there were issues and politely asked for assistance to help the family get the van running, then he went on about me having buyers remorse and advised me to contact his transmission guy and that he'd give us a deal. No longer trusting a word coming out of Ted's mouth, we took the van to a recommended shop so THEY could determine the actual cause. The shop didn't charge us anything and they put in a battery, connected plugs that were not properly connected when we purchased the van, and topped off the fluids. (A few of the components were completely dry, and I'll add pics and videos if you'd like to see.) If you plan on buying from Ted, please make sure you bring a mechanic with you to check on anything. Sadly I trusted this man and gave over $3,000 of donated money to shady Teddy for a piece of scrap. Thanks for nothing. read more

Stay away! Unless you want a big headache later. This guy is selling auction cars for TOP dollar. Just a quick shine and spray, without checking over any of the mechanicals. Unfortunately for Ted, I came to assist a friend as an experienced car buyer. I looked underneath, and saw all the front suspension bushings completely destroyed, leaking oil seal, and an array of other problems. Additionally there was major paint damage. This would all be ok if he was presenting the car as so, but in pointing these things out, Ted just became more and more defensive. When I offered what I would pay for the car in order to get it roadworthy, he instead, he would find someone to pay full price. We walked away, but he continued to yell defensive remarks.
