Food/Drinks: matcha latte - not the richest matcha taste or quality and when i got it with oat milk, the oat milk flavor ended up overpowering the matcha a bit. although, it wasn't bad it was still decent to sip on while working! iced caramel macchiato - on the sweeter end of drinks and if you get oat milk it will overpower the taste a bit but still a decent drink banana cream matcha latte - has the creamy texture from the banana cream and surprisingly the banana didn't have a strong artificial banana taste. to me, that's a little rare and in a good way. the matcha isn't a strong matcha taste but still present avocado toast with egg - it was plated and presented nicely which i was kinda surprised about. it tasted decent. the bread is on the softer/soggier end rather than the crispy and toasted end. the sauce and radish overpowers the taste. i got a runny sunny side egg and it was a nice addition for me. service: this spot has one of the nicest helpful service. i was here for a few hours working and despite shift changes, each new staff who was working were so nice and helpful! ambiance: it's such a bright and spacious spot with a few study rooms and many seating. it's bright and has a cozy wooden feel. i love that there are many outlets and it's not overcrowded or too loud. it was the perfect spot to work at!

Good fresh coffee medium roast. Quick informative service. Ambiance goes from wide open main room to one side are private study rooms and there's an upstairs balcony all around for more seating. Perfect for studying students

This is a cozy cafe in Orange. It's clean and well maintained. The staff is very nice and they had my order our quickly. I got a hot chocolate to go. Hot Chocolate- It's light and sweet, served at the perfect temperature. Like a warm hug on a chilly day. To go cup is sturdy and travelled well. Great experience overall!

The Lost Bean gives one of the best coffee date experiences my wife and I have had in ages. The venue is huge, plenty of areas to sit and relax. The staff is friendly and professional. The coffee and food choices are varied and interesting. And most importantly, the coffee tastes great! They have private meeting rooms that are free for paying customers on a first come basis. Perfect for team meetings, etc. We love The Lost Bean and will definitely be back.

Better Than Bulletproof: 10/10 (apparently their keto drink) Greek veggie + cheese panini : 8/10 (overpriced but pretty good). Customer service : 10/10 Establishment Cleanliness: 10/10 There seems to be no proper parking lot. I can imagine it being difficult to find parking during busy times.

The Lost Bean in Orange County has such a great vibe. Ambiance is great, the place feels warm, bright, and perfect for getting some work done or catching up with a friend. The coffee is solid and the overall atmosphere and service is great so it makes it a place I'd definitely come back to. Parking is just okay since it's only street parking, and it was pretty full when I went. Also, they charge $1.29 extra for alternative milks, which feels a bit steep. Overall though, it's a really nice spot with great vibe and quality drinks.

I really wanted to like this place, but it has both pros and cons. Pros: The inside is very open and modern. There are lots of seating, study rooms available for groups, and wifi. The ambiance is warm, welcoming, and bright. The drinks are good - what you would expect from a Lost Bean Coffee shop. Service is nice and quick! Cons: Parking is VERY limited. It's only street parking in a residential neighborhood. On a busy day, parking can be difficult. While there is plenty of seating, if you're looking to study, outlets in the open spaces are limited. There are more outlets on the second floor but are sporadic throughout the coffee shop. Every now and then, the whole ground shakes like something heavy is being dropped on the floor which can be startling/disruptive.

A hidden wfh cafe in orange! It's easy to overlook from the outside but it's super spacious with 2 floors of seating. They even have rooms you can reserve for meetings or group work. Also good coffee & pricey food but their brekkie sandwich was actually so gas like i would pay for that again! Some of my complaints are that the wifi lags for the first 10 minutes & they get flies in their bathroom?? They have fly tape hanging from the AC vent...a bit of a jumpscare honestly. Parking can be rough since it's only street and in a busy area.

I had never been to The Lost Bean but it was definitely on my list. Walking in, you do not expect it to be so big and feel so warm. The vibes are immediately lovely and as soon as I started looking at the menu, I was greeted. The gentleman behind the counter realized it was my first time and gave me a sort of tour and explained the lovely study rooms. I let him know I like sweeter drinks and he explained which ones from the menu are sweet. I ended up choosing a hot Zebra Mocha but it was a difficult decision as all the drinks sound great. It was smooth and flavorful. I will definitely be returning. Parking is a bit tricky as it is street parking and can wuickly get full. On a Thursday morning around 11am, I found a spot on the same block. I would highly recommend coming here.

Great place to study and grab coffee. Not only the coffee is creamy, I'd come back for the same or different drink. Parking is limited and on street, I got lucky because it was during slow hours. They have private rooms for study or work, but they have 2 hours limit. They are spacious as well, they have seating area on the 2nd floor as well.

Had to come back for a second review! Since taro is a common root used in dishes from my native country, I feel qualified to say: the iced taro latte was amazing! It tastes like the real thing -- nutty, sweet, and with subtle hints of coconut that made it feel even more authentic. If you're stopping by, this one is a must-try. I'll definitely be back again.

Perfect study spot with many high and low tables, an upstairs, and private study rooms with outlets. Street parking wasn't too bad + Ice La Paz ($6; less sweet): could taste the caramelized sugar and coffee strength was good (7.8/10)

A mere 1.3 miles away, I find this eight year old coffee shop that has its name origins from the German word for bread. Evidently, they have a plethora of baked foods mainly consisting of flour, water and often yeast displayed in full display next to the counter. I asked one of the staff if the shop makes their own bread and she said a local artisan bakery supplies them. They look amazing and they even have gluten-free options! This is a family-owned business that provides a more than suitable area for working on your laptop with WiFi access, or simply enjoying your favorite hot or cold caffeinated beverage, oh, and I must mention that they have premium blends as well for the coffee aficionado! Spacious indoor area that doesn't feel cramped and the exposed ceiling vents, the jazzy beats that is playing at a perfect volume and plenty of potted plants give it a balanced chill industrial vibe. There are tables outside too that's perfect for early morning or late afternoon when it's not too hot. I ordered the Vanilla Latte hot and asked that they fill up my insulated mug instead of the cardboard cup. Even with the steady stream of patrons, I received my expertly prepared brew by their hirsute barista, who gave me "beard envy" (I can only sport a goatee) :D The crew are friendly, conversing with the regulars. I can tell they enjoy working here! I don't come to Orange very often but would definitely grab coffee here again if I'm in the area and would highly recommend this place. This place is doing something right and by mere observation, I can tell they will continue to do so for years to come! Kudos!

Wasn't worth the price in my opinion. The cafe itself is spacious, with plenty of seating both indoors and out on the patio. I also noticed several tables with conveniently placed outlets, making it a nice spot for studying or getting some work done. During my visit, there were quite a few people working on their laptops, so it seems to be a popular place to settle in for a while. As for the service, it wasn't particularly warm or welcoming. One of the baristas accidentally dropped something, creating a loud noise, and she was visibly frustrated and seemed like she didn't wanna be there which affected the overall atmosphere.

Play coffee is an iconic coffee shop here that honors the history of the building and offers great coffee flavors. We ordered an iced chai latte with almond milk and a "sweet latte" (aka a brown sugar latte) - both were well balanced and enjoyable. Play is located in Old Town Orange off the main circle in this beautiful historic bank. It honestly feels like a pop up within the bank because the rest of the space isn't being used at all, so I really hope that changes and they actually take time to do more with the space because it feels like such a waste and kills the vibe IMO. Staff is all nice, and they move pretty quick considering how busy they tend to be. On the drinks front, I usually get their cardamom latte, which is great, but I've noticed as of late they've been underserving on their drinks which is a bummer (the shrinkflation is real I guess). They also serve some various baked goods which are fine, but not great. Overall, Play has a lot of potential to be great, but they've got a ton of stiff competition in the area. I'd say it's worth a visit, but don't go out of your way for it.

Rekindle was at the Taste of Orange this year and I enjoyed one of the Italian sandwich samples they were handing out. It was fantastic! We met the owner - she was very charismatic and charming. Today we stopped by to grab an Italian sandwich, and I just cannot believe they served me bread that was so old and dry - it would have been perfect for croutons, but definitely nothing like what we had at the Taste of Orange. The bread was so dry I had to dress it up with some olive relish to eat it - I don't expect when I pay $31 for a sandwich and chai iced tea latte to get home and have to start working on my sandwich.
