An incredible dining experience! The Korean BBQ was absolutely delicious--the meats were perfectly marinated, juicy, and so tender they practically melted in your mouth. - The Food: The balance of sweet and savory marinades was spot on. All of the side dishes were fresh and refilled promptly. - The Atmosphere: Fun, energetic, and highly social. Grilling right at the table adds such a cool vibe to the meal. - The Service: The staff was attentive, helpful, and made sure our grill was running perfectly. This is easily a 5-star spot for anyone craving high-quality, delicious K-BBQ.

Haven't had Korean food in a while n we're driving near engleeood cliffs n found The kalbi' w great reviews n thought we'd go there for dinner. Friendly welcoming staff. We had the kalbi combo A-1 seafood pancake and the spicy pork belly n squid stir fry. The seafood pancake was really good. There were lot of banchan. Tasted good. There was lot of meat w the kalbi combo - some marinated n some not. More than enough for 4 people. When cooked on the bbq they tasted so good. The pork belly n squid stir fry was so delicious, Loved the sauce. Generous portions n we had plenty of left overs of pork/ squid n seafood pancake. Thanks for a great dinner. We sure will come back soon.

This restaurant was awesome! We came to the restaurant at 9pm on a Wednesday and it was pretty empty. This place is spacious and has plenty of seatings. The server was friendly and helpful. I came to the restaurant with a total of 3 people and order 3 dishes. The portion sizes were huge. We were super full and had to pack some to go (the 3 of us also eat a lot usually). We ordered the Kimichi pancake with cheese, spicy octopus and pork belly stir fry with noodles, and army stew. Each dish was delicious. I am craving the food as I am typing this review. Also, the side dishes were also yummy. I recommend this restaurant and plan to visit again!

Amazing korean barbecue spot super underrated. Our server was very helpful and friendly. We got the 2-3 person package and it was so much food!

Came here for lunch on Presidents Day and it was empty. There was only one other table with customers. Inside looked like a higher end Korean restaurant but not as high end as the ones in NYC. We ordered Combo A (for two people) which came with brisket, short rib and marinated short rib. It also came with either kimchi or soybean soup, a steamed egg and some banchan. All their meat is advertised as prime and you could taste it. The brisket had such a strong beef flavor which you don't get from other briskets. The short rib was very tender with the perfect amount of fat. The marinated short rib was also very tender and sweet from the marinade. Overall this was one of the best Korean bbq restaurants I've been to in NJ. It is on the pricier side but worth the money because of the quality of all their meat. My wife and I already want to go back.

A friend came from Taiwan to visit. We took her and her friend to Kalbi for the ultimate K-BBQ experience. We absolutely love the food. Great quality meat. The side dishes are unlimited. Drink menu for alcohol and soft. The staff cook the meat for you so no hassle for us trying to cook and eat at the same time. The place is clean and spacious. Very well-maintained.

The soup made out of ribs.

New year's eve dinner was surprisingly good. My family party of 6 was perfect portion. The best was the perfection of korean bbq. They were endless juicy steak and briskets. The taste and the freshness of the beef amazingly delicious . My family was enthusiastic at the taste and quality. The servers were attentive and friendly.. check out pics. We'll be back for sure.

The Kalbi is around 10 min-drive from the busier Fort Lee area. Parking is available. Inside is dim, with blue lights from the metal wine display which separates 2 large dining areas. Was treated to a family birthday here so didn't get to look at the menu and prices. Our table was covered with plates of meat to be cooked, sides/accompaniments. Cooking was done by the staff - noted the meat were cooked thoroughly but they were tender. Dipped some in the salt/sauces, some were marinated so tasty already. Service was great- calm, attentive. They dimmed the lights and played a festive version of the birthday song as they brought out the cake with sparkler candle (which I think they put on). Nice! Wheelchair accessible.

We were back at Kalbi for a dinner with friends. The restaurant still maintained its classy appearance. Menu was also the same. We got the A2 combo that comes with 5 different kinds of meat, including bunch of side items. The servers were excellent at cooking all the meat, slicing and serving them. It was another pleasant dining experience at Kalbi.

My new fave kbbq spot in town from quality meats, good portion sizes with reasonable prices too. Interior looks great and it's also very spacious but it was already fully packed when we went at 7pm. Def reco making reservations ahead of time. Here's what we got: - combo set b for 2-3 5/5: high quality juicy meats and comes with a soybean soup, kimchi soup, and 2 eggs - pork belly 3.5/5: prob left it too long but it was relatively dry - seafood pancake 4.5/5: love the crispiness of lacking some seafood - beef tartar 3/5: not a fan of this since it was sliced up tartar- prefer the grounded version more and not too tasty

The brisket lunch special was only $16, was super juicy, cooked perfect! The chicken leg lunch special was only $14, was also great, the skin was crisp and meat just fell off the bones. Fries were very lightly coated and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. We also got a half pound order of pulled pork, very juicy and delicious, plus they serve the meals with 6 different kinds of sauces. Now... the various pickles! They all seemed homemade. Pink onions, cucumber pickles, peppers, and achyote (?), very crispy and refreshing to balance out the meats. Coleslaw was also very delicious. The cornbread. Very rustic. Initially I thought it was a bit dry but by second bite, you begin to appreciate the coarse cornmeal, the crunch, the balance of moisture and the crumble. I saved one to bring home so I can cut it and pan roast it in butter tomorrow morning. I have a feeling I will crave this cornbread in the coming weeks. The lunch also comes with a kielbasa, snappy skin, juicy and delicious. Such an unexpected find, glad we stopped in today. Very friendly service, they explained our questions well. There as one older waitresses in particular, whose name I did not catch, but she was exceptional in her service -- to not just our section, but to everyone. She seemed to understand well how to cater to the restaurant patrons, taking into consideration that we were grieving a loss of a family member/friend. The food was excellent. The "banchan" side dishes were fresh and savory with continuous refills. They provided us with appetizer of the two types of "jeon"s - when was seafood and one was kimchi. I ordered the super sized "galbi tang" (갈비탕 - Short Rib Soup). I say "super sized" as it's quite larger in quantity than any I have ever had in any restaurant! . They had already pre-sorted the meat from the bones which usually are included in this particular dish. The amount of meat was incredibly abundant and absolutely savory and soft to chew. The meal was so big that I packed most of it to go and it sealed up almost to the top of a quart container! Other guests tried the "oohguhgi galbi tang" (Short Rib Cabbage Soup - 우거지 갈비탕) and "bibimbap" (Mixed Rice with root vegetables - 비빔밥) which looked delicious and ample in quantity as well. The restaurant is located off-shot from Lemoine Avenue In Fort Lee (soon after you cross Main Street) and turn into their driveway right before Charim Restaurant/Paris Baguette Cafe. Parking is plenty for free and the entrance has stairs and ramps for wheelchair/walkers. The bathroom is to your left as soon as you enter the restaurant. The ambiance is elegant and clean. Service is prompt and courteous (with exception to one younger waitress who was a bit curt and ignore requests but the older waitress I mentioned prior really saved the day! ). The managers were professional and helpful in directing the guests to the right places. Overall experience in food and service was 4.8/5.0. Q Grill was recently named top 10 KBBQ spots in NJ/NY. Will definitely visit and enjoy their other menu selections!

Their menu has a variety of different options and our favorites that we tried tonight was the LA galbi , beef brisket, & finger galbi (boneless galbi). I also liked the banchan & salad sides to pair w/ the meats. What wasn't so good was the service. When we arrived to the restaurant and got a table, we were only one of two tables & waited 10 min before we got ahold of someone to order. After ordering, it was pretty difficult to get one of the staff to put in another order of meats, replenish sauces, and some of our food didn't come. For example, we ordered fried calamari & we ended up asking about the status of the fried calamari 4 times lol... eventually came at the END of our meal & mind you, we had ordered another round of meats already & those had came within minutes + the calamari came AFTER we were done grilling everything. Not to mention, for 3 pieces of calamari haha. The service was iffy because we were waving for a staff member to order and just got ignored, luckily we were in no rush to be anywhere. ALSO, if you are planning to bring children, note that no matter how old or how young your kids are, they will be subject to be charged the same $ as an adult. $40/pp for dinner. We had 5 people total, 4 adults 1 child & total was $213 after tax, before tip. So with all this being said in my review, if you're looking for solid AYCE KBBQ, look no further BUT be aware that the service is not the best. AND, they offer sushi here which may seem tempting but I do not recommend. Not very good and looked like supermarket sushi. Just come for bbq meats. Parking: they have a parking lot in the back!

It was very good and filling And while a bit spicy (it has to, otherwise it wouldn't be Korean BBQ), it was definitely not as spicy as in Korea, which was very welcome for me, so don't worry if you're rather sensitive to spiciness Plus the seafood pancake was incredibly soft, another must try in my opinion Definitely the whole order could have been enough for two (I actually left half the pancake to to) And the hot barley tea Also, staff was well efficient Definitely recommended! The bibimbap rice was excellent with a perfect brown crust on the bottom. We also had ordered the seafood pancake, but it never came and we had more than enough food for the 4 of us. Overall a nice meal.

We had stir-fried spicy octopus & pork belly and marinated pork - both with a choice of stew. Both were excellent. The spicy octopus & pork belly was seasoned well - probably too well and enough sauce to go with the rice. A bit too spicy for me. Marinated pork was also well marinated - not too sweet and not overwhelming. All of their dishes are served on bronze dishes, rather than white plastic ones, and gives you the feeling of being in a fancy restaurant!!!! Parking is limited during dinner time, but you will have no problem during lunch time. We used to come right after the King Sauna spa for dinner, and this place can be crowded and loud .... Definitely a must if you like Korean BBQ ~

Parking can be tricky as that area usually is, so beware of that. I went to Moo and Oink on a weekend night and I was seated right away. Be aware that the meal can get pricey depending on what you order, but everything was delicious. I loved the vegetables- I think I could eat them alone! My favorite meats were the short rib and the rib eye. Meats were very tender and flavorful. I did not try the chicken, but I did try the thin sliced pork belly. It was good, but if I come again I would probably just eat meat. I also tried the marinated sliced sirloin but did not care much for it as it was mostly onions.

What I liked most was that the combo actually included popular cuts instead of mixing one good item with filler meats. The charcoal grill made a huge difference. You could really smell the smokiness once the fat started dripping onto the charcoal, and it gave the meat a much deeper flavor compared to regular gas grills. The meat quality was solid overall, especially the beef loin and pork belly. Portions were also surprisingly large -- we ended up taking leftovers home. Another detail I appreciated was that they changed the grill plate after different meats

It's great that they grill the meat right in front of you and serve it to you in the Korean style. They also serve a lot of appetizers like kimchi, which are great when you wrap them up with the meat!! I also like that they change the net immediately without me having to ask. It's a great value for money restaurant and one I'd like to visit again. The restaurant is very spacious and has sofa seats, so it's great for families! It's a good place to come and eat yakiniku, as you can enjoy a variety of dishes.
