As Korean food goes, particularly in NJ where you have Pal Park and Fort Lee around, Madang is incredibly pricey for what I consider to be just ok food. They have a good variety on their menu - tofus, noodles, rice, soups, etc. - but portions are pretty small compared to your traditional Korean restaurant. The restaurant is cute though - somewhere between restaurant and cafe. And the servers were incredibly kind and attentive.

Came here for an event on the second floor. The food was tasty and good quality. Portions are not huge. As far as event planning goes I'd say the event space is on the smaller side. Can fit about two long tables but it can get pretty noisy if windows are closed for cold weather. Service was attentive. There is valet parking in the front. Overall a decent experience

Came here on an afternoon during weekend and feel like the food in here is not as good as other Korean restaurants nearby. The meat was hard to chew and not so well seasoned. Korean pancake was alright as i had better elsewhere. Parking was limited. And the space inside the restaurant was limited. Would definitely not come back again in the future...

Went here for lunch with co-workers. There's valet parking which seems odd for such a small parking lot but it gets really busy and the two-story place fills up quick for lunch. I'm not really into "fusion" and was a little skeptical about this place but I was wrong. The gochujang pasta really blew my mind. It was spicy with a hint of sweet... I could have this once a week. My coworker got the bulgogi cream pasta which was a little too sweet for me but still executed well. We also got the dduk-galbi steak to share. It was flavorful but a tad bit dry. It did take a while for the food to come out which is why I gave it 3 stars. It's a great spot for food but not too great if you need to make it back to work in an hour from lunch.

Very elegant restaurant, clean we ll decorated inside. They have a second floor with terrace as well, which can be booked for private events as well. The menu is decent, got a nice mix of rice, noodles, pasta dishes. Bulgogi cream pasta is really popular, and for a reason. Soft pasta, excellent bulgogi with delicious cream. Loved the octopus fried rice too. Nicely grilled octopus, little spicy. Grilled chicken burger was also amazing. Nice brioche bun, perfectly cooked chicken, and perfect blend of ketchup mayo to create a mouth watering experience. The lava cake was decent, would have love to have it fluffier than what it was. Service was excellent. Food comes within few minutes. They have their own parking lot with lots of spots.

Finally stop by to try Madang. It's Korean-American fusion theme. I like the bulgogi pasta. Very rich on cheese but still taste bulgogi. Restaurant is very modern and clean. Staff is friendly. They have a party room upstairs. To reserve it, a event agent will reach out to you and set it up. Very formal.

Madang is known for hosting parties and group events due to their decor and style of food. It has a slight fusion twist to traditional Korean foods, and some may like this, and some will not. For us, the food is good, but they don't seem to have a specific specialty. If you are unsure what you want, this place is a good option for you as they serve various types of food, somewhat like a diner. Parking is a pain if you go when it's busy.

Great ambience, outdoor deck tables, good for group since Madang has a small room where about 10 people can fit, and we also rented the whole 2nd floor for an event last year too. But, the food is just mediocre. Fancy Korean/Fusion dishes but not worth the money. Appetizers are better than the entrees.

Came back to madang to try out their other dishes and did our engagement party here due to the spectacular ambience. The verdict for the food remains mediocre at 3.5/5 but the ambience is what bumped it up with natural lighting. Galbi tang 3/5 Gochujang pasta 4/5 Octopus fried rice 3/5 Appetizers 4/5: my fave was the mandoo Shout out to Ryan, who has helped us along the way! Decor is done by @picnicfeels And Menu design is created on Zola.

Ideal spot for lunch with great seating and Korean-fusion dishes! In addition to the taste, I appreciate the colorful ingredients, thoughtful plating, and the various dish ware used.

I came for an engagement party upstairs. It's not a huge space. You can park on the street, in the lot, or valet (might be for events only?). Overall the food was good. I liked the balance between meat and very healthy greens. The gochujang pasta had a bit too much cream in it. There was a good kick. It had bits of bulgogi. The restaurant was punctual about the event ending on time.

Very nice atmosphere - everything seemed modern and all the plates were so pretty. I came here with my grandma with a party of five and we were given a room to ourselves. We started off with the brisket salad which was a little disappointing and I wouldn't order it again but everything else was so good! We had their salmon and avocado mixed bowls and they were so light and flavorful. The abalone steaks were buttery and meaty. They also give you this peach rooibos tea throughout the meal. My uncle liked it so much that we bought some for him to take home. Overall, I would come here again for their mixed bowls!

While deciding on what to order, the owner offered to make me a drink that was off the menu. How about a mixed one with strawberry, Matcha and coconut? Hey, if the boss is recommending it I'm all for it. My son got the ube and coconut. OMG, both drinks were so darn yummy. I am not an ube fan whatsoever, but my son insisted I take a sip. I have to say it was the best ube drink I have ever tried. The coconut mixed with the strawberry and matcha is a game changer. The teddy bear made of ice was so cute and makes for a cool IG pic. The owner was sweet enough to ask if we liked it. I gave her the thumbs up and said they were excellent and that we will be back. Oddly they also serve pho here, it's not a restaurant per se. We didn't have any so I can't comment. But definitely come for these yummy Vietnamese concoctions. Street meter parking only.
