2nd time here. Very clean and quiet. Very friendly staff. Self serve and self clean up with area to drop off the plates and gray when you're finished. I really like their kimbap here especially the bareun kimbap. Must try. As for the tteokbokki I like the size and the texture of the rice cake. Sauce is pretty good. The only thing is that we ordered the cheese tteokbokki and there wasn't much cheese in it plus the cheese has a.funny smell/taste to it. .i will definitely return for their kimbap

This is a chain from South Korea and I've seen it in LA but first time trying it here. It's located on a busy street on the second floor of a small building. I did takeout and thought the service was pretty fast and the staff was friendly. The rose topokki was very rich and flavorful. The assorted fried items make a great pairing. Topokki is stereotypically a cheap street food so in that regard this place is pricey but compared to offerings in the neighborhood it's very comparable. I enjoyed the food here and will come back to try the other items on the menu.

Jaws is my favorite tteobokki chain in Korea so I came so excited but left disappointed. It tastes nothing like jaws and they don't even use the same rice cakes as they do in korea. Everything tasted pretty good but they shouldn't be advertising it as jaws if the food tastes nothing like it. The lady at the cash register was also very rude and gave attitude to literally everyone. We were all very shocked to see how she talked to us and other customers when we were just trying to order. Overall had a pretty bad experience here and will not be returning.

Clean and neat spot with a self-service setup and friendly counter staff. I've visited five times since their opening, and while it was booming with people at first, my experience has changed over time I really enjoyed the Jawsome Set-Rose Topokki with deep-fried bites, Korean sausage (sundae), and fish cake soup. Their Rose Topokki Soup was solid too, though the regular Topokki Soup wasn't my favorite That said, the food quality hasn't stayed consistent. The Korean sausage (sundae), which I loved on my first visit, has gone downhill. Sadly, while I enjoyed it in the beginning, I don't see myself coming back

This one is older and the ambience is not quite as nice/private, but we had a great meal here. I love their sets! The sashimi is incredibly fresh. I'm usually not a huge fan of Korean oysters, but the ones we had here were the freshest I've ever had. Next time I come I will probably ask for the fresh fluke (?) sashimi to come out first before the assorted sashimi, because that was the absolute best and it was a shame we barely had room left to enjoy it. Service was very friendly and they even gave us the live octopus appetizer on the house because it was my FIL's birthday, which was very sweet of them.

She really wanted to try live octopus and white fish sashimi she said very popular on TikTok. There were six of us and my daughter already picked the Bada Palace Table set before we went to the restaurant. I didn't realize how much food was included in the set, the leftovers we took home was enough for a full second dinner. Everything was absolutely fresh and delicious. In fact, it was so fresh that the leftover sashimi we took home were still really fresh the second night. I heat up the leftover tempura in air fryer and they were still quite crispy the second night. The staffs were very helpful and attentive throughout the night. We are not Koreans but they didn't treat us differently. I can say that I don't always get equal attention at other Korean restaurants when they realize we are not Koreans. They also use extra care to wrap up our leftovers. I believe this is the reason why they were still so good the second night. I really love the level of attention they put into every detail. Highly recommend this place.

Genuinely greatest Korean food, ambiance, and service you could ask for. Our server Erik was extremely nice, helpful, and gave the best vibes! The soft shell crab was yummy and perfectly fried but we preferred dipping it into the yellowtail sauce. The yellowtail was a little overcooked and not the best piece. My friend complained that the meat was too tough as it was not just the collar portion. I usually find overcooking the yellowtail quite difficult since it's normally very tender. The cheesy corn chicken was delicious. Love the little pieces of corn in the cheese and the texture and taste of the chicken. The interior of the restaurant is clean, bright and relaxing. Service was good. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have the Orion draft available. Ordered and the ever came back 5 mins later saying that's unavailable as well so I ended up ordering the Terra. The have meter parking in the back or the restaurant. Around $3 per hour and the restaurant will refund you the first hour. Plus if you pay cash, you get 12% off. I would definitely check the bill as there was definitely a discrepancy with the parking reimbursement and cash discount. Overall, I think the food is better than norm and would definitely come back or visit/try the Manhattan location.

(miso soup, fried rice, wagyu & udon soup). i do recommend it to others but don't see myself personally coming back
