If you love authentic Korean food, Cho Dang House is a must-visit. They make their own tofu in-house, and it is easily some of the best I've ever had--incredibly silky and soft. The Perilla Seed and Mushroom Sundubu was the highlight of the meal; the broth and tofu texture were perfect. We also tried the LA Galbi, which had a great char and delicious flavor, though the meat was a bit on the tough side. The shrimp and leek pancake tasted excellent, but be aware it's a bit small for the $20 price point. I'd personally skip the steamed dumplings next time to save room for more soup! The service is wonderful--the staff is so attentive it feels like being served by your own grandma. Plus, they take InKind, which made the payment process seamless

Came here for dinner after a full day of snowboarding with my family, and it was exactly what we needed. Everything we ordered was so good that the table went completely silent when the food came out. I ordered the spicy pork bibimbap and it was packed with flavor, perfectly spicy, and comforting. My family tried a bit of everything: bulgogi mushroom soup, seafood tofu soup, beef tofu soup, vegetable tofu soup, and the bulgogi bibimbap. Every dish was rich, hot, and satisfying. We arrived around 9:23pm, cutting it close to their 10pm closing time, and they still accommodated us, which we really appreciated. The staff was kind, and the restaurant is nicely decorated and cozy. Would definitely return when I visit Fort Lee again.

SEAFOOD AND TOFU SOUP today. These plate has 20% off; I placed and order by Uber Eats I Heard that They are famous for doing their own Tofu every day. I called the restaurant before, because I don't want too much spicy hot sauce in my order and they told me it is possible in a kindly manner...When I ordered it, the restaurant followed all instructions; I wrote them in English and in Korean; it was a challenge for me, but thank you -About the soup: broth was Amazing; tofu was soft & fresh. All the toppings/sides ( one of them is rice) were amazing and interesting . The hot spicy sauce was on the side as I asked, but it was not really that hot!!! Just for you people to know.... I will use the half of the portion to bring it to my Job place for lunch tomorrow, because it is more than enough portion in every plate. I'm sure on winter can be a the perfect comfort food... Thank you guys; God bless you. Keep doing an excellent job.

Great authentic Korean food. Portions are quite large so you'll definitely leave feeling full. It felt like I was back in Korea and I loved every single thing we ordered.

Korean classic cuisine with tri-color tofu, soups and spice pork favorites Location This Fort Lee strip mall has Kura sushi and many other good food options among this Cho Dang House. Be careful in the parking lot because people drive fast and the spots are tight. The restaurant is very spacious and has wide tables for four or two people sitting. We did not speak Korean outside of welcome or thank you but they welcomed us in warmly Food and Drink: There is a menu with pictures which does help a lot to make decisions but you must remember that tofu and spicy pork will come with rice including your standard assortment of sides such as kimichi, tofu, tamogayaki, veggie options. We ordered the dumplings to start and we go a small salad to share with black sesame dressing was super tasting and We got the tofu and spicy pork with Black sesame, spinach, and regular tofu on the top. We also got the tofu and pollack soup which was very tasty. Service: We had multiple refills of our hot tea which balanced the whole meal so well. The restaurant was very welcoming and friendly. Overall: The food was solid. This traditional food was deeply appreciated on a cold day in December.

Cho Dang House is a great tofu spot in Fort Lee! Located in a shopping complex, there wasn't a wait when we ate early on a weekend evening. I think the owner opened the original Cho Dang Gol in NYC which always has a queue. Cho Dang House has a very similar menu especially with the perilla seed tofu stew items! The tofu at Cho Dang House is fresh and smooth. The bossam comes with nicely wrapped cabbage. Would recommend this spot in the area!

They are known for making their own tofu. Their tofu soup is pretty good. They have this powder, which I think is perilla powder, that gives it a unique broth flavor. Bibimbap is good as well; the pork is marinated very well and is tender. I don't really like the service here tho. I asked which dish do you recommend, and they said everything and just walked me through the items in the menu lol. Food also takes a while to come out.

Typical tofu house with some set options. The banchan was pretty decent and I liked the galbi.

We had CDH tofu bossam, seafood and tofu soup and leek and shrimp pancake. Bossam dish has boiled pork, homemade tofu and kimchi wraps. It looked pretty but pork was my favorite part. Tofu in that dish was a bit salty but also bland. Kimchi wrap was salty too. Leek and shrimp pancake was yummy. Seafood and tofu soup was chef kiss good. It's perfect for cold weather and good with rice. It's authentic Korean food when you hear arjumas speaking Korean and greet you in Korean when you come in. The place was neat and clean with available restroom for the customers.

Attention to details: the size of tofu and dried pollack in the soup is small enough for one bite, which is not always the case at other restaurants. Dried pollack is well marinated and paired beautifully with tofu, soy bean sprouts and other ingredients. Five stars. Highly expected Kimchi Biji- even though I can say it is better than other places, the amount of soup is rapidly dried out due to the hot pot in which it is served, and results in rather a bit salty, not smooth biji, tastes as if mixed with roe. If the soup had remained to the bottom of the pot until I finished, I would have given five stars. Three stars. After losing its soul and taste in NYC, I hope Cho Dang House in NJ keeps up with its tradition here.

AMAZING!!!! it's so healthy and hearty, and SO SO SO FRESH the food: got the bossam and ssambap set. bossam is incredibly soft but the star of the show was the radish wrapped in pickled cabbages!! it's the perfect pairing to the pork the space: pretty spacious, lots of seats the service: everyone was really friendly!!

Unfortunately, my hopes were dashed. Overpriced and unsanitary. I saw the waitress garnish what I later realized was our food with her bare hands. The memory clicked for me later once my mom and I suffered food poisoning due to our meal there. TMI, but we were frequent restroom visitors last night and this morning. Additionally, we were the only diners (no takeouts) during the prime dinner hour on a weekday. Hmm...not a good sign... Lastly, I thought the food tasted fine, but I tend to eat my food on the bland side to keep sodium levels lower. Mom did NOT enjoy her food at all. She said it was very bland and disappointing. This from a Korean born and raised person. She's also an excellent home chef. She rarely has such a strong negative opinion about restaurant food, but this place did not settle right for her for a few reasons, including the food poisoning :(

Everyone seems to order the tri-color tofu here, but I found it to be dry (1 star off). The three added flavors of tofu were confusing to me, as they covered the natural tofu taste, and I could not tell what those flavors were. I assume the black one is sesame and the orange one is pumpkin? I don't have a guess what the purple one is at all. The staff did not speak English, so I could not ask. You need to top the tri-color tofu with sauce in order to make it palatable. I asked for plain white tofu, and they told me they don't have it. I pointed to a picture on their wall with a block of white tofu, but they again told me they don't have it. I couldn't tell if they don't have it that day or they don't have that on their menu at all. I did get a white tofu soup which I enjoyed; it tasted clean and comforting. I also ordered the galbi, which is just okay. There was no char despite being cooked on a hot stone pot (1 star off). I don't think meat is their strong suit, LOL. The banchan dishes were good. I liked the kongjorim (braised soy beans) and purple rice. They went really well with the white tofu soup. Overall, I did not think their "hand-made" tofu was different or better than that at other tofu restaurants.

From the beginning of the process, Scott was responsive and worked with our schedule for the tasting. We were able to make a selection from many dishes and after trying their food we were sold! Especially the NY strip steak with bleu cheese! We received so many compliments on the food and many of our guests even went to compliment the kitchen team themselves! The Balinese chicken turned out to be my favorite, but they were all amazing! They made way more than enough food for everyone and brought containers for our guest and us to take the leftovers home. We love not wasting food! With our budget, we were thinking we could only get a decent caterer, but we lucked out with LDV. They are without a doubt one of the best in the business! They catered to our needs and even made suggestions on how to reduce cost. In our case we brought our own drinks for their bartender to serve, which helped reduce cost. This turned out amazing and our bartender, Mark, helped make it a smooth and tipsy night for our guests! Last but not the least, their service was top-notch. They helped with the buffet so people there would be no crowd and made sure everyone got their food in a timely manner and even made plates for my husband and I so we didn't need to take the time! We were ecstatic with the service and it was one of the smoothest parts of the entire wedding. 5-stars all-around.

Here's why we jumped at the chance to work with Scott and team: - no problem or request was too much - every email or phone call was returned - they kept every commitment: timing, cost, and of course, the food. Now let's get to the food. Word one: abundance. So much variety, all fresh, some surprises (gourmet jerky with a perfect French mustard) perfectly displayed despite the limitations of the space. The passed hors doevres were prepared on site and were delicious, beautifully served, and ample. For reference, this was a wedding cocktail reception for 30 people, Mid day, I would absolutely hire Scott and LDV for a similar event and I would not hesitate to have a full dinner catered under his watchful eye. Note: Scott's staff were professional, poised, and friendly.
