I called ahead to ask about booking a table and was told they don't take reservations, just walk in. When I called again to check about a waitlist, I was directed to their website, but there was no option or details about joining a list. It was a busy weekend, and after some effort, we managed to find a street parking spot amid the downtown traffic. When we arrived, there were people waiting outside, and inside it was so crowded it was difficult to even reach the counter. I saw at least 3-5 groups leave after seeing the chaos. It seems popular, but I wouldn't prefer a place that handles customers like this. With the confusion and lack of clear guidance on seating, we ended up leaving and going somewhere else. Overall, it was disappointing. Clearer communication about seating would have helped, and it wasn't clear whether this is just how they operate or if they aren't concerned about their customers.
This place is a light hearted brunch/breakfast spot. They offer many great options and a bar with great cocktails. We had the chorizo omelette with pancakes and they were 10/10. The friendly customer service was an added plus!
We went here for brunch the other day and it was delicious. Conveniently you can get in line on the Yelp app. My friends had the Farmers Omelet and eggs/sausage - and they enjoyed their meals. I had the Triple Triple omelet and it was so good and I loved the Cinnamon swirl pancakes. I was deciding between the two but was able to upgrade my omelet side so I was happy about that. All the menu items looked good.
Beautiful brunch spot in Ann Arbor with drinks and tasty dishes! Pick anything off the menu for a delicious meal! We sat at the counter and received friendly, prompt service. Even though we managed to get seated quickly, I recommend joining the online waiting list to avoid the lines.
Great brunch spot in Ann Arbor with delicious food. We've been here a few times and today got the s'mores French toast and the seasonal item of chicken and French toast. Both items were fantastic! My only complaint is they don't have real maple syrup on hand as an option. Service was phenomenal as usual! They have the Christmas decor out, which made the restaurant feel cozier.
Interminable wait, dirty bathrooms and floors, up charge for pancakes with rotten fruit on top, and even after all those up charges, no heat in the restaurant either. I didn't think Ann Arbor had any bad restaurants, but this one is
Went here for brunch and it was great! It wasn't too busy when we went so service was quick. Our lattes were delicious and just perfectly sweet enough. The food could have come out a bit warmer but they had no problem reheating our pancakes when we were ready. It was a lovely morning with the sun shining through the windows. Everything was tasty and we can't wait to come back! *Make sure to check your bill before adding additional tip, they usually already add 18% gratuity
Breakfast before the game!! It was a 30 min wait for a table for two. Check in on yelp to get your name on the list before you arrive. Very central to downtown and the stadium. Great breakfast to get the day going. Service is tight! These people are on top of it. Good amount of seating for the smallish space but comfortable. Very well run.
Their pancakes was the best thing there, BUT brought the syrup 15 minutes later.Cold pancakes. Corned beef hash dish was horrendous not joking hard potatoes abundance of dry corned beef, said no cheddar had a 5-minute conversation with waitress about what type of cheese. the whole meal fit under two over easy eggs that tells you how small the portion was for $20. If you choose to go there get pancakes to go. Or just go to IHOP or Coney Island. I think I found a pic that fits this restaurant. $100 for 4 people. Had better meals at Coney Island restaurants and spent half the price
We ordered the veggie skillet and corned beef skillet. You can select toast or mini stack. I love that a mini stack is an option! The service was great and the food came out quickly. Both skillets were tasty and filling. We loved the fluffy pancakes! Can't wait to return and try other menu items. There is an 18% service charge on the bill. That's why I knocked off a star. Just raise the prices. Street parking and there's also a lot nearby.
Although I usually never care about service, I WILL care about it if you automatically tip yourself 20% before I even get the bill for TWO people. Don't get me wrong. I normally tip ~10-50%, but that depends on your service. For a restaurant to be dead empty yet for us to still have received terrible service, AND on top of that you automatically tip yourself 20%, that's all I need to know to never come back here again. * on TOP of the already 20% they automatically billed to us, they also had the audacity to even have a tip screen on the pay device to get us to tip even more. (How greedy can you be???) - sat down - waiter gave us 2 minutes to look at the menu before asking for our order - asked for a few more minutes - 10 minutes go by and waiter never came back to get our order. There was literally only 2 other people in this establishment at this time, and for the entirety of our stay. - I have to waive down someone to get our order. - we get our food, 2 minutes go by waiter checks in on us - waiter is never seen again - 15~20 minutes pass and we finish our meal, no one is walking around or checking in on anything. - we wait 5~10 minutes for a waiter to walk around, they never come. - I have to go up to a waiter (in the back) to ask for the check and to go boxes I wouldn't be AS infuriated if the food was ANY better, but it was mid. This place literally puts the "mid" in mid-west huh. Corn hash was decent, hard to mess anything up on this plate. Eggs were cooked to a perfect over easy, hash brown was supposed to be crispy but had that texture of something crispy sitting out for way too long. Burnt toast (yum!) 6/10 Cloud Crepes: 5/10 - Came out cold/VERY lukewarm, if even - fruit compote tasted very much like medicine
The Jagged Fork is an enjoyable brunch spot with a delicious menu in downtown Ann Arbor. Staff are professional & the food is tasty where my party generally had a positive experience overall. They were so busy that they overlooked giving us silverware where we had to ask for it after our food was served. I recommend joining the Yelp waitlist to maximize efficiency. Our wait was over an hour yet we were able to walk around downtown AA while waiting for a table to become available. The ambiance is loud with white noise due to high traffic and tables close together where it was hard to hear our conversation at times & we had to ask each other to repeat what was said.
Overall the foods pretty good--has an interesting menu and if you like pancakes there are a handful of options. On the smaller side so there can be a bit of a wait/tight but it is nicely decorated and bright. There are some parking lots nearby. At this location the service is not great-GP from what I remember was better. When we were seated it was taking 10-15+ minutes for someone to come for a water so we ended up leaving. Another time we went, the waitress only checked in for ordering the meal--we couldn't get refills on water or coffee from when she first sat us and the food, there were mistakes with the food we couldn't get fixed, and we had to order takeout at the bar because she never showed up again. We had to flag her down for the check and as we were in a corner tucked away it was difficult to get any servers attention. Update: the to go order was made wrong--cheese was added though it wasn't even on the menu item and they forgot to give us a side of pancakes.

The food tasted great. The serving size was big. We got there at the right time cause there was a wait even though we waited 30 minutes when we left I'm sure it was longer service was good on top of it fast and constantly asking if we needed something so the service was excellent read more

After a disappointing attempt to get into We've Got Brunch, I took my group to The Jagged Fork. We were sat in 15 minutes and had food within 30. I had the Sparta Salad which was delicious and HUGE! Our server was friendly, but left us alone to chat, which we appreciated. It is not a bad spot at all! read more

A great brunch spot if you are looking for sweet or savory options. There is off street parking. Upon arrival you have to wait for a host/team member to arrive and seat you. They have booth and table seating. I like that the menu is clear and concise and has a lot of great options. We were seated and immediately greeted with water by our server. The restaurant was busy so the wait was a little lengthy after ordering. It is a quite fun spot to grab brunch with friends or smaller groups. We ordered the farmers omelette ($15) with jalapenos (+$1.50), side of fruit and added pancakes with strawberries and whip cream (+$2) We also ordered the berry french toast ($14) and a kids Mickey Mouse chocolate chip pancake with bacon from the kids menu ($9.00 plus chocolate chips $1.75) Although the food was excellent we encountered a few issues that were later resolved. The farmers omlette stated it would be "stuffed" with hashbrowns which were missing. They also offer you your choice of cheese. I asked for American cheese and their American cheese was similar to Velveeta flavor and texture. There was an overwhelming amount of it! The pancakes were missing the whip cream topping too and the fruit bowl is only three pieces of very thin cut fruit (as pictured). However, the server did offer to remake the omlette given that they forgot some main ingredients and apologized about it. The berry french toast comes with a heaping amount of fruit and a flavored custard. The kids' meal was the Mickey Mouse pancake which is very large. The bacon with that meal was cooked to perfection! Also, if you order a kids drink it is the same price as the adult drinks ($4 and they bring a much smaller glass for all their juices) I noticed they really didn't offer to refill anyones water or coffee! This may just be something you need to ask for if you want it. Gratuity: Overall the food tasted amazing but note they automatically charge a dine in 18% gratuity on your bill (we were a party of 3) and then ask you to add to the tip if you want to increase the amount. You can skip the adding to the tip but the 18% is already charged to your card. read more

We came to Jagged Fork again for a game day breakfast, arriving around 9:00. Just in time to get seated without a wait. They've recently changed up the menu. I really missed the PB & J oatmeal - bring it back! It was one of the best restaurant-oatmeal's I've had. Sadly no longer an option. Instead I ordered the guacamole toast, topped with scrambled egg rather than poached. It was good, just not quite what I'd wanted. The other change: you used to be able to order a mix of large pancakes. Now you can order "mini stacks" - much smaller, but they do cost less. My husband ordered a blueberry lemon pancake with his veggie omelette. A+ on presentation. I had a couple bites and it tasted yummy, too. Other than missing some of the previous menu options, our food was still tasty and portioned well. Our server was friendly and checked in often, filling coffee mugs to the brim. Ambiance is always nice. It's a lively breakfast joint that somehow avoids getting too loud. read more

Pleasantly surprised by The Jagged Fork. There's always a long line outside, so that's the main reason why I hadn't stopped in. But, I finally braved a weekend brunch visit with some friends. The line moved really fast, so don't be intimidated! There's a large menu with lots of options (what's up mimosa flights!!) so it's great for groups if you have picky eaters! Also, we had amazing service. My friend ordered the wrong item and the server insisted on making it right. Kudos! I had the Corn Beef Hash Skillet! It was deliccciousss and generous portions! I also upgraded my toast to the specialty pancakes - specifically the chocolate chip ones. It was STUDDED with alll the mini chocolate chips. I was very happy with these. Greeted by the most friendly hostess, this place immediately caught my attention! It was clean, smelled absolutely amazing and was surrounded by smiling waitstaff! SO many amazing food options it was so hard to choose just one! I had the mixed berry French toast and it might have been the best French toast I've ever had. I cannot say enough good things about this adorable restaurants I highly recommend it! Situated in an area with lots of parking, it's super easy to get to! Stopped In for brunch with a group of 5 and got seated immediately. Came a little before 11 to beat the crowd and got a spot on the patio (just the sidewalk out front) ordered the Baja Cali omelet with cheese hash browns. The hash browns were more like mashed potato's in my opinion no crisp or crunch but still good! The omelet was delicious loved the guacamole on the inside. Upgraded my side of pancakes to Oreo! Super sweet had crumbled Oreos and icing on top, but so good! Also got a vanilla iced latte with a shot of Rum Chata perfect start to the day! Would come back next time in town! read more
Went to the Jagged Fork again, and I swear it gets better every time we go! Food is always picture perfect, and tastes just as good as it looks. This time I couldn't decide between sweet or savory- I ended up getting an omelet that comes with a side of pancakes or toast, so I got pancakes and was able to get both sweet and savory! They also had holiday drinks this time, I got the spiked hot chocolate. There was a large group of us, and staff was able to push together tables to accommodate us. The restaurant isn't very big, so on a busy day I could see it being difficult for larger groups. They check you out at the table. Gratuity is already added into the check already, and they don't make it obvious so just be aware of that. read more

Had a wonderful time at the Jagged Fork for a pregame breakfast. 6 people, all thumbs up. Expansive morning cocktail menu, good coffees including lattes and cappuccino's variety of nice breakfast and brunch foods, shrimp & grits, skillets, smoked salmon on an everything bagel, egg dishes, fabulous griddle items, and burgers too. Highly recommend the blueberry lemon pancakes! I ordered them as a side with my delicious farmers omelette and WOW! The blueberry lemon pancakes! Winner winner! Spicy Bloody Mary's were a hit too. read more
I had been wanting to try The Jagged Fork for a while, and one of my friends eats gluten-free (and they have a lot of GF options), so three of us stopped by here today. They don't take reservations ... I tried messaging them on both IG and Facebook to ask that but no response. One friend arrived at 12pm to put our name in and it was about a 30-40 minute wait, which for Saturday brunch makes sense. My friends got the GF Chunky Monkey with a side of fruit and the regular Chunky Monkey. I tried the sampler plate, which sounded pretty intriguing - it had Red Velvet, OREO, and Chunky Monkey pancakes. Both the Red Velvet and OREO pancakes came with a dollop of cream cheese frosting, which was okay but a little too sweet. I got my Chunky Monkey pancakes without the banana, as well. The portions here are gigantic and thus the prices are fair - about $12+ for the specialty pancakes, and my sampler was $15. My friends also ordered coffees and I had a pineapple juice for $4. Be aware that they automatically add an 18% gratuity to your bill - you're allowed to tip extra, but one of my friends tipped another 20% because she wasn't aware a tip had already been added. Overall waitservice and service overall was very good here but I do feel like they rushed us to get out - an employee came over to clear our table, then asked if we needed bags, then asked if we had already paid. Kind of awkward although I did appreciate the bag. I'd like to come back at some point and try some of their more savory options vs sweet. Also, we didn't see an alcoholic drink menu but we did see some people sipping Bloody Mary's... So I assume they have alcoholic drinks, perhaps on a menu we didn't see. read more

I was excited to come check this place out. I came here on a Saturday and had to wait 25 minutes for a table. It's super cute inside. I was slightly disappointed because I don't think it lived up to the hype that everyone had around it. I got the Huevos Rancheros and a side of Red Velvet pancakes. My mom got the classic breakfast. I enjoyed my food but it wasn't anything special. Our server, Simone, was so friendly and nice! I loved her energy. Overall, I would maybe come back for the vibes and ambiance. But if you want flavorful breakfast and don't care about ambiance then I would go somewhere else. read more
Great brunch spot in Ann Arbor! The interior is very modern and there's a good amount of seating. Got seated quickly BUT there is no waitlist so you may have to wait for an available table. Really nice, bright breakfast/brunch restaurant in downtown Ann Arbor. It looked like it was gonna be a long wait but we were seated in 5 minutesOur server, Kristianna was so friendly & helpful with our food choices. Always checked up on us & really appreciated her kindness. We got the Cinnamon Swirl & Strawberry Shortcake with side hash browns & crispy bacon. All delicious & generous portions! I'm visiting Ann Arbor so I wasn't aware an automatic "Dine In Gratuity 18%" was added to our bill and I normally tip 18+% for awesome service. This was our second time at jagged fork, the first time we absolutely loved the food and the service! The second time we went back the service was great despite how busy it was but the overall food was not as good as the first time. The first time we tried their breakfast burrito and savoury crepe which was phenomenal. The portion sizes were very generous! The second time we got meat lover skillet and huevos rancheros with chorizo. The portion sizes are always so generous! However the second time It didn't tasted as good or the overall experience was not as great as how we remembered it. *pancakes are amazing tho!!!* read more

It was a good brunch and decent size! After trying to be a master about French Toast for awhile lol, now I'm just soo into crepes! I ordered Banana & Nutella crepe with extra strawberry but somehow I got strawberry more than banana. It was okay and it will be better if it's fresh cut. The crepes itself was a little oily/wet, I kinda prefer a dry one. But I ate them all! Generous for topping and Nutella for sure. My husband got Corned beef hash and it came with pancake or toast, he chose blueberry pancake. The corned beef was good and again they gave a very good/big portion of food! He couldn't finish his brunch at all. OJ was the real fresh squeezed! Service was amazing. We sat outside because of we have our pup with us. They are dog friendly and he got a lot of love from the restaurant. Next time I will try their French Toast for sure! read more

Brunch place with modern vibe. Usually packed during brunch hours. Service: while the place was packed, the number of tables allowed it to take it in new customers rather quickly. However, service was a bit slow. We waited for almost 15 minutes for two omelettes and an egg benedict. Food: commenting only on items I have consumed. Fresh squeezed orange juice: recommended. Very refreshing orange taste, not too sweet. Latte coffee: coffee tasted nice. Could use a bit less foam though. Chicken Pomodoro omelette: very cheesy (a bit too cheesy for my taste), chicke tasted alright, a bit too dry. The taste of basil pesto and marinara sauce seemed to cancel each other out. Side of fruit tasted standard. Overall: 3.5 stars. Could use a bit of refinement and improved service to get to 4-5 stars. read more
Waited a while in the cold, but mostly worth the wait - decent breakfast / brunch spot just south of downtown on Main. Had a bacon / cheddar / sausage omelet which was pretty good, and French toast and breakfast burger looked pretty awesome as well. Good service, just a tough morning post the Ohio State beat-down. read more

Came and conquered. This place should be twice the physical size that it is to accommodate their customer base! That's a compliment :) They absolutely smash the brunch game, and folks in the area know it. They have a good number of brunch options for both savory-cravers and sweet-tooths. For an indecisive customer like myself, I appreciate that I can add a side of pancakes to some of the savory meal options (e.g., for omelets). If you go for brunch on the weekend, be sure to get there before 9:30am, which is when the wait time starts to exceed 30 minutes. read more

Very decent food. I got the chilaquiles. The eggs were perfectly poached, the chilaquiles were not spicy so I give them a 4/5 (chilaquiles are meant to be spicy hence the root word chile). As a Mexican ofc I high expectations. Regardless, it was a good ambiance, staff was kind, we were seated in a somewhat timely manner. I wish they had Cholula but they said they ran out. I would recommend this place. read more

We love this place and have had some good experiences here. However, today was very disappointing. Our waitress told us the extra charge on our bill was "tax" so we all gave her a 20% tip on our bills. Turns out, once we got our receipts we saw that the extra charge was an 18% gratuity and we had all tipped her 38% without knowing. She also was very secretive about giving us the receipts. Also, I ordered a latte and it came out lukewarm.. she brought another one out that was better but still not as hot as it should be. She also told us that upgrading our pancakes would cost $1.50 but she charged us $2.00. She would also offer us refills as if they were free and then mention that they cost another $2-3. I shouldn't have to go through all this when I'm just having brunch with my friends. very disappointing read more

The food was super delicious and they allowed me to add ingredients to my meal. The service was great the host told us that the wait would be quick when it said we were 44th in line and would be seated in an hour, in reality we were seated within 20 minutes. Very nice breakfast brunch environment and clean business. read more

I've had good experiences at Jagged Fork before, but my experience today really put a damper on the place. waited 1.5 hours for a table, which wasn't the problem, but to have a disappointing meal after such a long wait kinda kills your day. we got to the restaurant when they texted us and the host stand was just a mess - hostess was not friendly nor attentive and there were 3 different people trying to seat us that were clearly not on the same page. when we got to our table, it was dirty and not set. there were egg bits and coffee rings on the table and it was pretty gross, even though the hostess just cleaned it? idk we ordered breakfast tamales, huevos rancheros, banana chocolate chip pancakes, and coffee. coffee was fine but food was another story. my huevos rancheros came cold, the cheese on top was unmelted, and there was barely any cheese in the tortillas. the breakfast tamales came half cold half warm (not even sure how that happens) with an avocado seed that my bf bit into our pancakes came with strawberries instead of bananas, and when we told the server about it, she was just confusing about the whole thing. she asked if we really wanted to throw away/waste the pancakes, if the strawberries really "make or break the dish", or if we want the bananas off the check, and none of her solutions really made sense lol. we just wanted what we ordered and didn't appreciate the food waste guilt trip. when we finished our meal, she told us our total (why was that an announcement ?) and had us pay/tip on the handheld tablet that doesn't show the price breakdown - it just asks for tip. we asked for the itemized receipt just to find that they already included an 18% service charge without informing us. good to know that's happened every time we've come in without us knowing. pretty unethical and illegal if i'm not mistaken used to like this place a lot but most likely won't be returning because it's inconsistent and don't want another experience like this. read more

We eat brunch here regularly on Sunday mornings. Arrive early and prepare for a wait, or use Yelp to join the queue remotely. Great food and good service, however the wait staff is definitely overworked. Don't expect inexpensive food at this premium location. Be on the lookout for UM athletes with their families. Also, all parties get 18% tip added automatically. read more

This has been on my list of brunch places to try for a while as the photos on yelp look sooo good. The Jagged Fork is relatively easy to find as it is on the corner of a building of shops. There is a paid parking lot just across the street that is super affordable. The menu has a great selection of items, as well as tons of options for drinks! It is on the pricier end, but worth it for the atmosphere and food. I was feeling something sweet, so I got the pancake sampler. Let me tell you, the chunky monkey pancakes are to die for. My brother got the chicken pomodoro omelet as recommended by our server and the thing was huge! He also thoroughly enjoyed his meal. We will be back! read more
