Cool theme. Good cocktails. Great location. Decent prices. Not much seating. Don't go if you are hungry. ( no kitchen)

What an amazing find. As long as I've lived here this is the first time I found this place existed. Its so cool inside. They have a great list of hot teas, coffee, and drinks. They also serve some appetizers as well. They are known for having a replica of a 10,000 year old clock. Has great views as well. They also have a library which unfortunately only staff are allowed up to it. So that sucks. But, it is a great place to network. I will be back

Pretty aesthetic and scientific-like bar in SF. A bit out of the way even though it is in SF near Fort Mason, as it can be 30+ minutes from downtown SF. However, the area is spacious and there is parking available for those that are driving in. I went here on a Wednesday 5pm which is when they opened due to a private event earlier in the day, and it was not too busy, but people started trickling in around 6pm. I got the Decanted Mother-In-Law and Oaxacan Old Fashioned, both of which were strong and delicious, with different spirits. I like the presentation of both, with the first one served in an apothecary bottle and the second one served in slanted ice for some nice aesthetics. Prices were pretty solid since the cost of the cocktail is $15 including tax, while most restaurants charge more plus tax on top.

Really cool and charming bar in the Fort Mason area of the Marina! This was a TikTok find, and it was pretty lively on a weekday night -- most of the bar seating and other seats were full. The design of the interior is really beautiful, with glasses adorning the ceiling, a metal globe, and a library nook upstairs (though that wasn't open to the public when we went). My friend and I both ordered cocktails, and though I can't remember the names, they were both quite tasty. One had citrus (grapefruit) notes with candied giner, and the other had some honey notes and a cinnamon stick. We found a cozy spot to chat, and the bartenders were also friendly when we ordered (and decently fast). Heard that it's more of a café vibe during the day, so would love to come back here and experience that.

Had no idea this spot was a cafe during the day! It's nestled inside all of the Fort Mason shops, and they have free wifi, seating, good drinks, and a clean bathroom. The decor is really unique, filled with books and jugs of liquid. They become a bar at night, but you can order anything throughout the day. Got a cold brew ($5) and it came with adorable pourers for sugar and milk. Did some work too!

My date recently took me to The Interval and as a designer who loves unique and aesthetic spaces, I absolutely loved it. This bar is such a cool blend of a library, art, history, and chic design all in one. The attention to detail is gorgeous, and there's an amazing story behind the bar that is an intriguing read on their website. We went on a Sunday afternoon, and even though it was busy because of a nearby festival, there was plenty of free parking! The bar has indoor and outdoor seating. Since it was packed inside, we grabbed a spot outside, which had plenty of space and was great for chatting. Later, we moved inside, and it was lively and buzzing with energy. Just a heads-up, it can get a bit loud inside, so outside is better for conversation. The bartenders were super knowledgeable and recommended a Cab that we loved so much, we ended up having six glasses between the two of us (should have gotten a bottle lol) I also loved the ceiling filled with glass bottles of alcohol--it's so stunning. The upstairs wasn't open when we were there, so just note that it's not always available. But honestly, that didn't take away from the experience at all. The Interval is such a great spot for a date, and I can't wait to come back.

We stopped at The Interval At Long Now after a long walk through the city to cool off and wet our palettes. We hadn't been to Fort Mason before, but were glad to have known about this bar in advance as it was a bit hidden in the back of the complex. As soon as we walked in, we were impressed by the atmosphere. With books all around and steampunkesque decor throughout the bar and tables, this bar definitely has an eclectic yet calming atmosphere. I got the Paxton's Arrow while my partner got the I've Grown to Love Life Too Much. Although I was super excited by the combination green chile vodka, Ancho Reyes, and celery/green chile tincture, I found Paxton's Arrow to be a bit celery forward, and didn't think the drink came together quite as I was expecting. On the other hand, my partner and I both loved the I've Grown to Love Life Too Much two-part cocktail. Neither of us have had a two-part cocktail quite like this, and found that the cognac, spiced pear liqueur, and creme de cacao came together beautifully in the main drink, which was also washed down nicely with the dry champagne accompanying it. Sadly, we were not able to stay for another round, as the cocktail menu is quite interesting and varied. Needless to say, we will be back!

Such a fun bar in the fort mason area! We came here for pre dinner drinks and snagged a spot on the couch. The menu is interesting and has a wide variety to choose from. I ordered the preserved lemon dirty martini and it was pretty good! The vibes of this bar are amazing and has some interesting stories on the walls too. One of my favorite bars that I've been to in the city and I'll definitely be coming back!

Beautiful inside space!

Discovered this semi-hidden gem at Fort Mason on a weeknight and couldn't be more pleased! We popped in for an evening cocktail and was instantly in awe of the art, bookshelves, unique seating, and calm ambiance. I ordered the Oaxacan Old Fashioned - reposado tequil, mezcal, agave, chocolate bitters, and ancho Reyes over a slanted ice block. Divine!! Just a great spot to catch up with a friend or even do some focus work in a quiet space with a drink (they have free WiFi). Coffee is also served so looking forward to coming back on a Sunday morning!

Vanilla latte in a lovely cup

This was so so so good. Incredibly good. For *both* coffee and drinks. Came one day for coffee and ended up with a spectacular cappuccino and vanilla latte. So wonderful that we tried to go back again the next day but they were only open later afternoon. Tried a variety of drinks and loved them all, from the Gin Rickey (a 3 day affair) to the I've grown to love life too much (a Dostoevsky affair) and more. Both coffee and drinks service was lovely and helpful, and we even got into a fun long chat with the bartender Rick one evening. This will certainly be a permanent fixture in our San Francisco rotation.

This is definitely one of the most interesting and unique bars I've been to. The atmosphere is perfect for anything you're looking for. As shown in my video, there are people studying, going on dates, and people grabbing drinks after work. Every vibe just meshes together so perfectly! I also want to give a shoutout to the e great bartenders that made our drinks perfectly despite the bar being busy. I rate this place a 10/10!

You know a spot hits different when you find yourself rerouting your schedule just to go back again the following day, and that's exactly what happened here. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I'd discovered a hidden gem: elegant without being pretentious, warm without trying too hard, and above all, exceptionally well-executed

Classy looking bar with sophisticated cocktails. I love the architecture, decorative books, and the pretty spiral staircase though it doesn't go anywhere. There are a couple of small tables and a small room which could be for a private party, I'm not sure if they rent it out or it's first come first serve. The drinks here are very fancy, and they are known for interesting concoctions. My favorite is the Brush Fire which is a Hefeweizen beer with smoked pineapple, banana, cloves, and lemon. There is also a decent selection of teas and mocktails for people who aren't drinkers. Off the grid in Fort Mason is held every Friday night and it can get really busy. It's also a popular after-class spot for actors as there are 3 different acting schools located at Fort Mason.

After a park day at the Presidio, we wanted to move the party and we decided on Bar Darling. It was a Saturday afternoon and it was jam packed. Luckily we were able to get some space in the alley way for us to order drinks from our server. We've been on a Friday around 5pm on another day, it wasn't as busy, so definitely a great place to start and maybe end the night. In a time where craft cocktails have gotten really expensive, Bar Darling offers craft cocktails (their signature cocktails) all for $14 each. If you know Peacekeeper, you know there's a lot of thought and imagination that goes into their drinks and it definitely shows here. My favorites were the Mama J (tequila based) and the Jaji (mezcal based). The aesthetic and vibes of this place is 10/10. Definitely great for a group of friends and/or date night!

I'll note that the promotional photos online give a somewhat misleading impression of the ambiance. The actual interior is considerably more modest and utilitarian than advertised. We ended up seated outdoors beneath one of those industrial heat lamps, which was blasting uncomfortably hot air until our server kindly switched it off at our request. That said, the service was efficient and attentive. Our drinks arrived promptly despite the crowd, and the staff managed the busy room well. Nothing particularly memorable about the experience, but perfectly adequate for a casual evening out. A solid four out of five stars.
