We were easily able to sit at a booth area inside. We got a lychee martini and espresso martini. When we read some past reviews before coming here, people had mentioned a pistachio espresso martini drink, but we didn't see that on the menu. For $14, the martinis were solid. I love a good lychee martini and this one didn't disappoint. My partner's espresso martini was a bit too sweet for our liking though. It was great for the first few sips, but by the end of the drink it was overwhelmingly too sweet. Overall, I liked the vibe of this place and enjoyed our drinks. Came here to celebrate a birthday and we were able to reserve part of the outdoor back area, which was perfect for a group. Atmosphere Campus Bar is a super cute spot with outdoor seating. I can imagine it being great on a warm day in the city. Since we came at night, we ended up sitting around the fire pits, which made it cozy and fun. When the weather is nice, Campus is a go-to spot for drinks on their outdoor patio. It's one of the bigger outdoor patios in the Marina, and is dog friendly which is always a plus. They also have like 5-6 beers on tap, with my go to being the 805. The drinks are stiff and fairly priced given the neighborhood. Casa Migos is their standard tequila for a tequila sodas, and I'm all for it. The bartenders all have been awesome and we've enjoyed our multiple visits here. The outdoor area has its own bar, but it's not open everyday, usually weekends though. Plenty of TVs and seating make it a good spot to watch a sports game in an outdoor setting. They don't serve food but they partner with Norcina, which you can order off the QR code and have it brought to you. The offerings are Italian food, pizza, and wings. read more

Avoid Campus Bar in San Francisco. I bought two Diet Cokes and was walking out when the bouncer aggressively knocked the cups straight out of my hands, sending them onto the ground. No warning, no explanation--just unnecessary aggression. If there's a rule about drinks leaving the bar, that's fine, but physically slapping something out of a customer's hand is completely unacceptable. It was rude, unprofessional, and honestly shocking behavior from someone representing the business. A simple "you can't take drinks outside" would have solved the situation instantly. Instead, the bouncer chose to escalate things for no reason. Places like this forget that basic respect toward customers matters. Based on this experience alone, I would strongly recommend going somewhere else. His response was to violently punch the drink out of my husband's hands and aggressively grab the drinks from my sister-in-law. Completely aggressive and unhinged behavior over two sodas. I'm so glad we stumbled upon Campus after brunch, because it just might be my perfect bar. Initially, my group of 5 grabbed a cozy high-top table inside, directly across from the bar. The (very friendly) bartender came over to take our orders and told us about the quirky decor (there are taxidermy deer (?) butts on the bar wall). I ordered an Aperol Spritz and my friends got Espresso Martinis and a Grapefruit Spritz. The drinks were ready very quickly and my Aperol Spritz came out perfect. The Espresso Martinis were unfortunately too creamy/foamy, but very cute looking, with little flowers on top. While we enjoyed our first round, we noticed that people kept going in and our through a back door, and that's how we discovered Campus's awesome back patio. This outdoor seating area is SO cute, with a huge mural of flowers and insects, plenty of different seating options, fire pits, TV screens, and turf on the ground. It's also incredibly dog-friendly, and there were even water bowls already out for them. The atmosphere was happy/laid-back, perfect for either a group gathering or a date. We stayed for one more round, but I would totally return! read more

What a great find! For as many times as I've been out in the Marina, I've somehow never stopped in Campus before. When we arrived at about 9 PM on a Saturday night, the inside was pretty packed and loud, which was to be expected. However, we lucked out and found a perfect table at one of the several fire pits in the outdoor area out back. I really loved the outdoor area, and it's what kept me here for about three enjoyable hours. The service outside was pretty sporadic, and unfortunately, you're not allowed to place orders yourself at the outdoor bar. But I found that the bar inside was surprisingly easy to order at despite the crowd, and the bartender inside was friendly and attentive, so service ended up not being much of an issue. I really enjoyed the Cucumber Gimlet and Campus Old Fashioned, and the Peach Hot Toddy my partner had was a great drink to sip on outside. I would love to see a bit more variety in cocktail options, but regardless - I will be back to Campus soon! read more

We were looking for a chill place to hang out with our wedding party and their partners after our wedding in the Presidio (the venue closed at 10PM). Most of the group aren't big drinkers so we were really struggling to find a place with a reasonable F&B minimum for ~20 of us. Campus was really responsive over email, easy to work with, and service was friendly the day of. We had a fire pit designated to us outside and it was the perfect, low key environment we were looking for. As they got more crowded, it did take a little longer to get our drink orders in & drinks delivered -- but totally understand it was partially our fault (we arrived late and coincided with another large party arriving). We arrived after the restaurant they're partnered with was closed (I think you could order pastas and stuff to be delivered?) but they had chips and nuts, and welcomed outside food which was lovely after a long day. Went here yesterday with a friend for a cocktail. The outdoor area was really nice with seats and fire pits. It was a little chaotic because there was an event going on and when we scanned the QR code only food popped up no beverages. So we moved back to the front to sit at the bar. This is a review for their bouncer, G something. She's a female with face tattoos. I get to this place to meet a group of 8 friends, all over the age of 30. I told her I don't have my ID but I have a photo of it and she wouldn't let me in. She said no digital IDs or any kind are allowed for anyone. It was 7 pm so a little ridiculous but fine rules are rules right? Well wrong. Because ONE minute after that conversation some lady with her 50 year old mom (I know because I heard her say her mom was 50) walks in and says she doesn't have a physical ID but shower her a photo of her ID. and she let her in?? Awesome place to hang out with friends on a Sunday afternoon. We came here on a mini celebration and decided to stick around for a bit. The back part of this bar is great. Theres plenty of seating and a fire to sit around if you're cold. Theres even games to play. We made our way back inside later into the evening and made friends with the super friendly bartender that was playing our song request. All the drinks were made amazingly. This is a cute lil cocktail bar that we stumbled upon for afternoon drinks! I got this margarita which was so delish that I got one (or maybe two) more. I came with some friends and stayed for a bit was tried the Huck Finn. It is made with jam and other berry flavors and it was one of the best drinks I have ever had. You barely taste the alcohol and it all you taste of the tasty berry flavors. Might be a bit sweet for some people but if you are into sweet drinks, this it he drink for you. The bartender tasted every drink he made which is something that I don't see anymore. The place is very chill with bar seating and some booths on the side.
