Bira 91 IPA beer - kinda hazy!
Marco N.

Been coming here many times over the years with the family. Always great service and food quality has been consistent. Used the separated side room for larger family gatherings and it works out nicely.

Pretty decent for getting your typical basics - recommend taking advantage of the $12 meal combos on DoorDash if you're ordering out as you can get quite a bit of variety for great value. Got the meal box that came with chicken tikka masala, dal makhni, rice, and naan. Chicken tikka masala came with a decent amount of chicken and was rich and creamy. Favorite was the dal makhni. Spice levels are pretty tolerable and takeout service was really fast at opening no a weekday (12pm). Parking lot available and cute interior for dinging in.

Indian Escape And The Vegan Sampler

Had some really great Indian food at this long time local favorite. It certainly is the best such restaurant in Naperville. The Indian Harvest has been among the most popular around here for years. Okay prices considering quality which is among the best ever. You can get meaty or vegetarian options with plenty of great stuff. Came at lunch and we got a few drinks along with the food. It's got quite a menu. They have so much to choose from which makes it hard to know what to get really. Has some pretty great cocktails. It's about $12 which is kind of too much but they're good though. Best we had of these was the Indian Escape. This is made with Bacardi white rum, club soda, jaljeera spice mix, muddled mint, simple syrup, and tamarind. It's about $13 for the lunch samplers, which are weekdays at lunch. We each got a Vegan Sampler. Comes with quite a lot. Sambhar is the spicy soup. Comes with a choice of salad or samosa, and I got the samosa which was filled and fluffy. There's a chef's assortment of items, including eggplant, lentils, and potatoes. Comes with basmati or saffron rice, and with it being the same price why not get the saffron and be bougie. There's also bread including naan or roti. Fresh fruit to finish it off. This was certainly enough and we got stuffed. Certainly ate enough for the price to be quite a bargain. The rest of the menu offers a lot. Great place to get tons of this at lunch and the sampler gives you tons to things to choose from. It's closed Tuesdays. There's a whole ton of things for vegetarians.

Enjoyed my new beer. Now I want a glass!

I've been craving saag and my BFF and I made another visit to Indian Harvest. Since I love lamb, I did the lamb saag and it was just the right amount of heat and layers of flavors. We also had Dal Makhani, rice, and Naan. I slurged and got the carrot pudding; it's served warm and just melts with flavor on your tongue. Kudos for the outstanding and gracious staff and compliments to the lovely chef! She does fantastic work. Send kudos to the kitchen when the food is this tasty.

CHICKEN TIKKA

Overall I thought the food was just average. The naan was hot and fresh but could've used more garlic flavor. The chicken and curries were good, but nothing mind blowing. The filling of the samosas were my least favorite- the texture wasn't the greatest. Warning the lamb vindaloo is super spicy- very tender lamb but way too spicy for me (but the waitress did let me know it was spicy). The ambience and service were nice too.

The cuisine itself is nothing short of exquisite; the ambiance and service was the icing. it was great to meet with Sanjeev Pandey, the owner/ operator at this terrific location. A must go place with family/ friends/ or self.

Lunch special. The non vegetarian option. The do have vegan and vegetarian too!

Great selection. Nice atmosphere. Staff is always helpful with recommendations. I suggest coming for lunch first and trying a lunch special. Bunch of options and then you can dip your toes in to a bunch of the dishes. I have friends that are knowledgeable with Indian food. They really enjoy this place. I'm comfortable going solo or with non experienced friends. Check it out when you are in the area.

My coworker recommended this place for us and it was absolutely delicious. It was our first time trying this place and it was pretty darn good with a lot of food for lunch. I got the vegetarian lunch sampler and hubby got the meat sampler. He said the tandoori chicken leg was a bit dry but other than that it was very delicious. I loved everything on my place and the naan was so yummy and chewy. I listed the name of our dishes in the photo since I can't repeat what I had for the life of me. So look at the picture lol but it was good and reasonably priced and if we are ever in the area and we're craving Indian food, this will definitely be our place to visit. Our new favorite Indian restaurant!

I loved the decorations and the service - excellent. I will definitely go back. The food was very good. For my taste it could use a little spicy heat just like when I was in India - normal is hot. Two couples we had for appetizer: BAINGAN BHARTA and Samosas, and Garlic Naan Main Entres we shared: TANDOOR MIX KALIAN An assorted presentation of our Tandoori Kebabs served with Dal Makhani, Basmati Rice, Naan and the dessert of the day and HARVEST NON-VEGETARIAN FEAST A sampler of Saag Paneer, Lamb Roganjosh, assorted tandoor kebabs served with Basmati Rice, Naan and the dessert of the day.

Great food and great service! Definitely recommend for in dining or catering ! NAAN PANEER BHURJI

Freshly made, good service, portions on the smaller size... it's one of our go-to spot for Indian food in the Naperville area.

Good Food, But the Difference in Service Was Hard to Ignore…read more My daughter and I visited on August 30th, and I deliberately waited a few days before writing this review because I wanted to be fair about our experience. We have lived in this area for almost four years after moving from the East Coast. We consider ourselves foodies, especially when it comes to international cuisine, and have explored several Indian restaurants throughout the Naperville area. I first discovered this restaurant when ordering takeout. During that visit, a gentleman whom I believe was the manager was exceptionally kind and even allowed us to sample a few items from the buffet. I told him I would return, and I did. Unfortunately, our dine-in experience was very different. After being seated, we received water, but no one returned to check on us. I finished my first plate, and my daughter finished hers before the naan and tandoori chicken were brought to our table approximately 20 minutes later. I am vegetarian, so the chicken wasn't important to me, but we had almost forgotten about the naan by the time it arrived. My daughter also ordered a simple tea. The waiter acknowledged her order, but the tea never came. What concerned us most was watching what happened with the customers who arrived after us. As new customers were seated, we repeatedly heard the sizzling tandoori chicken being brought to their tables, along with naan, within minutes. My back was turned, but my daughter could see the room and began noticing how quickly the other tables were being served. Meanwhile, no one returned to ours to ask the most basic customer-service question: "How is everything? Do you need anything?" My daughter and I were the only Black/African American customers in the restaurant at the time. I am not claiming to know anyone's intentions, but I would be dishonest if I said the noticeable difference in service didn't make us wonder why our table was being treated differently. We frequently dine at Indian and other international restaurants where we may be the only African American customers present, and that has never been an issue. What made this experience uncomfortable was the obvious difference in the level of service we received compared with the service provided to those around us. Before leaving, I quietly spoke with the gentleman at the register, whom I believe was the manager. When our waiter approached, the manager asked him why my daughter's drink had never been brought. The waiter apologized and appeared ready to get her a tea to go, but by then I declined. I want to acknowledge the manager for his sincere, respectful, and genuine apology. He explained that they were short-staffed because someone had not shown up for work. I appreciated the way he handled my concern, and he is the primary reason I chose not to leave a one-star review. However, being short-staffed does not fully explain why customers who arrived after us, received prompt service while our table was repeatedly overlooked. In a restaurant, teamwork should help fill those gaps. I worked as a waitress many years ago; I am a professional writer, and I own my own business. I know what good customer service looks like, and I understand the importance of how people are treated when they choose to spend their money with your business. The food was good. The service experience was not. After giving it considerable thought, I don't believe I would return for their weekend buffet. There are many Indian restaurants in the Naperville area, and good food alone isn't enough when a dining experience leaves you questioning why your table received a noticeably different level of service. I may consider ordering takeout again because I did enjoy the food, and I sincerely appreciate the manager for listening to my concerns. I hope management receives this review in the spirit in which it is written: not simply as criticism, but as an opportunity to make sure every customer who walks through that door receives the same respect, attention, and hospitality. In comparison, excellent food and customer service have kept me coming back to A2B, Shimla Peppers, Indian Harvest, and Bombay Chopsticks (which also offers an excellent buffet). Unfortunately, after this experience, I don't believe I will add Cuisine of India to my list of favorite restaurants or recommend it to friends or others in the area. Because in business, you never truly know who has just walked through your door. Never judge a book by its cover. You don't know who they are. By Author P

It certainly seems to be authentic and most people eating here are of that ethnicity so that's a good sign. A lot of the classics on the menu. They have something for most preferences. Basically it's an order at the counter kind of place, and they call out your name when it's finished. It's got a pretty big menu that makes it hard to choose, and that's a good problem. The menu has plenty for meat eaters and vegetarians. A lot is organized by categories. They have curries, dosas, and tons of other stuff. It's about $7 for appetizers. We got the combination of idli and sambar. Basically it's like rice cakes with a spicy soup for dipping into. The rest of the menu is full of stuff. It's about $10 for a dosa.
