What happened to this Home Depot? I used to be able to find the items I needed, but not so much now. There seemed to be enough staff and people walking around, although no one checked to see if we needed assistance. I was looking for some home & garden items----specifically a few hanging plants and some light bulbs. No dice. Their home and garden area had some plants which were in pretty sad shape and only 4 hanging plants for over $25 each that looked like they were almost dead. Approximately at 1:45pm 3/21 we had gone to your flooring dept looking for pergo moulding. We asked for your flooring associate Dan who was sitting at the desk. He had difficulty trying to find it on his computer. I looked up the item I. A second in my phone. Burlington had stock he called the store for us to pick up. All was fine until he mentioned the gas price to get there and said it was Trumps fault. He went on and on about Trump. Even after we told him we were conservatives. He then got more aggressive. Another associate over and heard him ranting at us about the most horrible things and his hatred got louder. We were in shock. The complete unprovoked unprofessional behavior was not acceptable. I have been trying to buy and install a dishwasher, but despite two separate delivery attempts your incompetent installers kept telling me NEW reasons that they couldn't install it. Maybe if you told me what needed to be done the first time I would have been ready the second time-- instead of having called a plumber in once already but apparently needing to do that AGAIN because the installation guy didn't bother to tell me the second issue existed!! Being a new homeowner, I've been to this Home Depot more in the past 4 months than I have ever in my life. Sure, it's a hit or miss on the customer service, but the hits are what make it a 4-star. When I'm standing in the trimmer section and quickly a worker walks up to me and we chat for about 15-20 minutes about the right one for me (I had an idea as I looked a bunch up online first) and showed me how to use this and that and all the in's and outs, I really appreciated that. They have DIY workshops here (more of less a guy from HD standing out ready for questions), but was very helpful with talking about starter, grass seed, garden soil and all that fun jazz. I've also picked up from here an extension ladder, toilet seats, nails/ screws, a cool kitchen mat, the outdoor mat 'wipe your paws' that I was searching hi and low for.. and all comparable pricing to other hardware stores. Currently they have mulch for cheap and some lovely plants. And if you accidentally park your car on the other side of the lot, someone is willing to stand with your cart and wait for you to pull up and load into the car. read more

As a new homeowner, I seem to be frequenting The Home Depot on a much more regular basis. My first stop here as a homeowner was for extra copies of my house keys- they have an awesome selection of decorated keys for under $3. Since then I've been back for everything from a broom to shower and bathroom accessories. They've got it all, and it's all organized. If you're ready to take your home depot shopping to the next level, you can download their app which allows you to search for items in the store (giving you the exact location). But if not, just seek out a Home Depot employee in an orange apron. The employees here have been so helpful and willing to show me items and discuss my concerns/ideas. Home Depot runs a variety of workshops for adults and children, they are advertised in their local ads. read more

This location is much better than the Cherry Hill location. This store is well organized, clean, a nice parking lot that is easy to get in and out of along with helpful employees. DON'T BUY A DISHWASHER FROM HOME DEPOT UNTIL YOU READ THIS My husband and I ordered a new Frigidaire refrigerator, gas range and dishwasher. Delivery occurred on Thursday, August 19, 2021. Upon arrival the delivery men announced that they could NOT install the new dishwasher because it was "hardwired" and that we needed to hire an outside plumber to do the install.?? They directly said that "this happens all the time with Home Depot. They never tell the customers." I was sort of stunned that they refused to install it despite Home Depot charging me for install and didn't know what to do. I said to my husband maybe we should just refuse the dishwasher, but the delivery men cautioned me against that indicating that was only if the product was damaged. The delivery men left the old dishwasher in place and the new dishwasher wrapped up in my garage and departed. It took me (3) tries to find a plumber who had availability and would do the install. However on August 21, 2021 when the plumber unwrapped the new dishwasher, it was a top mount instead of side mount!!! The salesman had asked us about this and my husband and I SPECIFICALLY told him that we had granite countertops and needed a side mount dishwasher. I'm fully aware of the difference between side mount and top mount and the install requirements for each. In fact, Home Depot's salesman steered us away from ordering the dishwasher we originally wanted because he claimed it could only be top mounted. Back to the install, my plumber told me that although the specified preferred method of installation was top mount, he could try to install it with side brackets, but none had been included. I immediately called Home Depot looking for the side brackets and was told that Home Depot never carries any of the install parts, they always have to be special ordered. Thus, I found the mounting brackets on Amazon and the plumber had to return again on August 24, 2021 to do the side mount install. Bear in mind that the Home Depot paperwork indicates that the appliance is unreturnable once delivered - and the delivery service counseled me AGAINST refusing delivery of the dishwasher. In the end, it cost me (3) times the original amount to install the dishwasher - AND ITS NOT EVEN THE CORRECT DISHWASHER!! OR EVEN INSTALLED IN THE CORRECT PERFERRED MANNER!! I am so disgusted with the whole Home Depot experience. read more

I've been coming to this Home Depot for over 10 years. I am a contractor and tell all of my customers to order their materials from this as well as other Home Depot's and the last 3-4 times at this location the order, my customer put in days in advance, hasn't been ready and I had to sit and wait there for 20-30 min for some kid to go and pull it from the shelf. I could have done that myself. The point of an online order with in-store pickup is that the product will be ready on a certain date waiting not last minute shelf pull. read more

They have truly a prime location - off of a major highway, next to two other major roads and next to the mall and and a huge series of shopping plazas... Unfortunately, more often than not it's tough to find someone to help you and at time even if you do find someone they don't know the answers. Hey As a home owner, I had to do alot of my own work inside, if I can manage them. I have been here before, for lots home items & thought I reviewed them already. Well Sunday , i had free time , needed a Screw for my shower door, which came undone.* Yes, actually stainless steel screw.....@!!@!$&&?!@#@? Ha-ha..upon entering, employees were helpful, & I came with one of the broken screws, & I thought it was standard 8 32-33, & it was. The gentleman grabbed a little package , & I was on my way, unfortunately it was not long enough, 1/2", didn't come out the door enough , for nut to go thru the threading.. Ughhh.I had to go back!!??? So unnerving, but by now I asked different employee for longer one , got 1", so that way didn't have to worry coming back-AGAIN. All in all, got what I want, even ventured to mosaic tiles, get a price for back-splash in kitchen. Ahh, joys & pain of Home- ownership.. I waited 25 mins for a rep to come to there section that was full of customers that eventually all walked away. Once he finally came (after I waited an additional 5 mins & 4 calls over the loud speaker from customer service) they didn't even have the item I needed that was showing in stock online. I had a problem with a missing grill mfr shipped it UPS lost it. I called customer service and spoke to Theresa the nicest person you ever want to talk too. She understood my problem and she promised to take of it she said she throughly investigate it. Got back to me an hour later and found out UPS lost it. She reordered the grill for me and put a rush on it and gave me a discount for reordering it. She is the best employee at Home Depot I want to thank her for gold star customer service. I tend to go to the Home Depot because while the other place might have a touch nicer things at times, the customer service is world's apart. No matter what project my wife has me working on, I can always find someone at Home Depot to answer any questions I might have. I have rarely had a long wait in line and even the cashiers are always pleasant. The only reason for not giving five stars is because sometimes they do not have the quality my wife wants and it forces me to go elsewhere. I have gone to this Home Depot for a long time. Probably spend several 10s of thousands at this specific location and quite recently learned a valuable lesson that I will not soon forget. Over the last year I have been in high gear with home remodeling/renovations and my experience with purchases has ranged from Ok to WTF! My most recent Home Depot 'story' started on Wednesday and has some highs and lows while I purchased items to remodel my kitchen. I am doing a full gut so I need everything from insulation to the kitchen sink. During this purchase adventure it was made very clear that the store as a whole is not properly managed at all or the company expectations are set low enough that they do not value a customer. The staff treated me as if I was only browsing when I had about 5 carts full of merchandise to purchase. However, the customer service supervisor that wrung me out was helpful and polite and a employee in the lumber area was my savior for my shopping needs. As another review stated, most employees made an attempt to ignore me rather then assist me. Day 2 of my adventure started by realizing I left a cart at the store. Lucky I had an order to pick up so it was placed with that. However, since it was only labeled, it was treated as if I was "stealing" the items that I had already paid for. Additionally, the associate in the lumber area 'fought' with me about picking up my order and tried making it impossible to take my merchandise I paid for. As if I was a criminal and he was doing his civic duty to prevent my theft. After an excessive amount of down right arguing to receive my own merchandise, it was finally brought to the front of the store and I could load it into my truck. Where I did not get even an offer of assistance to load it. It was a bitter sweet experience for spending roughly $3500. Whether I purchase at this location or not will not determine the outcome of the experience for anyone else. All I can say is that I had good points during my purchase but the bad was not only the majority but also controlled the experience. My final thoughts on the matter is that the store and leadership team is clearly not able to handle large purchases and should only be used for your quick sub $100 purchases. I had a terrible experience with the flooring person where we had a potential claim on carpet. I spoke with her and sent her information. I got no response back for 12 days. After I called, she started telling wrong dates and saying she is the only one and didn't get time to call me back. She had been too busy?? Why is someone so busy and doesn't the store have extra set of people to call back? It has been extremely disappointing experience with the vendor and home depot finding loop holes to get out of warranty. Nothing was explained when we bought the carpet that for the warranty to stay in effect that we would have to get steam cleaned and keep the receipts. The problem we have with the carpet, steam cleaning would not have fixed it anyway. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend anyone buying flooring or carpet from there. Go where people are going to me more courteous and responsive and explain warranties vs. getting you on fine prints. read more

Greeter directed me to aisle five for various selections of wood glue after I showed the associate some pics of the issue I was having. Selected gorilla wood glue. Today I attempted to order a washer and dryer online. Although, I placed the order including the cord and hoses, the hoses dropped from the final order. I called hoping to add the hoses. I was told the order was placed through the store, which it had not been and I had to talk to the store. Okay , I was instructed to cancel the order and call the store. I called the store was forwarded to major appliance .No one answered and was rounded back to Customer Service three times.The fourth time my call was directed to Sema in Kitchen cabinets to complete my order. Too bad no told Sema that was part of her job. She referred me appropriately back to major appliance . So online screw-up, in store NO answer , NO HELP. Guess I'll try another store. read more

Sale price not honored when it's an online purchase... I would rate the Home Depot customer service a 1. I purchased 2 appliances online (Order Confirmation for W473175591) and the day they were delivered, they went on sale. Sale prices are supposed to be good for 30 days. I wrote 8 emails, and other than "we received your request" I never heard back. I am a mute, so the idea of calling customer service is out of the question, and that's why I do all my shopping online. So much easier. I recommend to shop at Lowe's. In the past they have been more cooperative and helpful. read more

What an absolutely horrible experience for something that should have been so simple! In these times of COVID 19 I decided to try curbside pick-up for the 1st time. It will definitely be my last shopping experience ever at Home Depot Mt. Laurel! I called the store as indicated when I arrived. An employee angrily waved at me from the curb while I was trying to speak to curbside pick up. She asked me what I was there for and screamed that I had to park in the numbered spots. I pulled away in the direction she was wildly waving her arms and saw no spots with numbers in the lot. I turned my attention back to man on the phone who asked me what number space I was in. I told him I did not see any number spaces. He told me to call back when I could figure out where they were. I told him he could cancel my order. I drove around the lot one more time and spotted the signs. You cannot see them when the 6 spaces are full so beware if you are going to attempt curbside pickup. I then called the manager and very politely explained my experience. You know how you can sometimes tell when people don't really care? I am also an essential worker and understand how scary it can be to just go to work but widespread rudeness from 3 different employees? I think there is a bigger problem at this Home Depot. Save yourself some trouble, stay away, go to Lowe's or just about anywhere else. read more

Super helpful people. I've been in multiple Home Depots across this country and this one I've been in where the employees actually ask if you need assistance and offer it where they see it needed. My wife was in the store with our two young kids and she needed a larger cart for our items. While I went to get one, without even asking, an employee delivered one to her because he saw her in need. I made an on-line appointment that turned out to be less than what I expected. I promptly arrived to learn that the kitchen designer was not scheduled(by Home Depot) to begin the day for one hour later. After waiting awhile, a customer order specialist assisted me with cabinetry and counter tops. She was professional and knowledgeable. Once the kitchen designer arrived, I felt as though I should have apologized for the store's error. I was there for three hours (including the wait time) and left sorely disappointed with the experience. There was little effort in planning a kitchen with even less exchange of ideas. Trying to buy a new washer and dryer and the staff at this home depot are either NOT well informed or just do not take the time to inform the customers. I'm shocked that they did not MENTION the $50 rebate NJ offers for homeowners who purchase Energy Star rated Washing Machines and I am livid that they are now telling us there is nothing they can do about it at the store, because all they can do is scan a barcode and if the computer does not respond with the rebate the staff there are totally at a loss. I happened to know about the rebate, and unfortunately I was not with my husband this morning when he went there and made the purchase. I looked up the regulations that qualify a washer for the rebate and the model we have purchased WILL QUALIFY. If we're spending over $1000 at their store, you would HOPE the staff would want to assist us. If it was up to me, I would cancel our order and go to Sears where the salesman explained the rebate to us in the first place.
