Worked with this company in New York. The most unreliable and rude. Today I am waiting for the FOURTH man to come and fix their botched installation of my refrigerator that I paid for in May. Also took 3 months to deliver a microwave, and don't even bother paying for installation. Their guys essentially unbox and leave the mess for you. Oh and on top of their unprofessionalism, they will blame all their mistakes on you even though you have digital receipts and proof that show otherwise. So when they know that they'll ghost you. Honestly, as a woman each and every time I worked with a male associate he spoke to me in a demeaning way, assumed I know nothing, was disrespectful and then gaslights you to say it was what you wanted. Ordered a stove typical bait and switch i was told to stay away from PC Richards and go to Best Buy the stove i ended up with i could have bought at best buy or Lowes for a hundred dollars cheaper i've seen used car salesman with more integrity than the salesman In this establishment, I will never go back buyer beware there are other issues that went down with this sale too numerous to write on here. Richard & Son response and appreciate friends and family input and offers for a temporary refrigerator space and assistance as well! I purchased a new refrigerator here, and prepaid for both installation and haul away of my old fridge which broke a week ago. I explained to the sales guy that my old fridge has an ice maker and water line hooked up to it, but the new fridge I purchased did not have an ice maker so I didn't need a new water line installed, but would need the old water line disconnected. The sales guy of course said sure NO PROBLEM, we can take care of all of that including disconnecting the old line. Then today when the installation guys show up, they say they CAN'T disconnect the water line, and told me instead I have to go ahead and hire a plumber to do it, and pay for the cost myself! I have not had a working refrigerator for 2 weeks, and now I have no idea when I'll be able to get a plumber out here before I can get the new one installed. I will never use P.C. Richard again!!! Buyer-Beware: Although the prices are good the sales people are not honest and truthful. Been waiting well over the 6 week I was told for my oven. No calls no follow ups just terrible service. I paid for the item already and have no recourse. This will be the last purchase I'll make there. UPDATE: Was told I'd receive an upgraded stove for free with delivery expected shortly after the warehouse received the item on May 9. Called to confirm delivery and was told the stove was shipped to fill a previously placed order! Countdown is now 65 days since the order was purchased and NO resolution. Making matters worse, there is no true recourse other than to get a refund and start the whole process over. Never-mind the fact that customer service phone line will not speak to you because you purchased the items in store. When you call the store you can't even talk to a manager, only your sales rep. This place is a SCAM, your typical bait and switch tactics. read more

We recently purchased two TVs from Brian Siddell at the Moorestown, NJ store. Brian was extremely helpful and respected our wishes for "mid range" appliances - no hard sell to get us to purchase more than we needed. He was great about follow up to be sure we would get the rebate for our purchase. We elected to have the TVs installed; PC Richards contracted the work out to Unlimited Installations and their installers were just great. Overall, a wonderful experience - we will definitely go to Brian and PC Richards the next time we need an appliance or mattress. read more

02 /20/25 At first you couldn't get a. Better place to buy your appliances I purchased a washer -Dryer and a small fridge paid enough !!!! The 3 pieces came with an 8 year warranty great huh?? Not good , I had problems with the fridge (1st month) they never called about my concerns after numerous calls to them they made up excuses when the parts would come in then they stalled me more on time in waiting making up stories about why the parts didn't come from a driver with the parts had gotten them stolen coming to my home to getting them to install them. then they were not the right ones at all after (2 months wait) then they come up with this kicker ,if they replace my fridge i would have to give up the warranty time 8 years to get a new replacement one. But never would i expect they would kill the warranty on my washer and dryer too!! Suggestion here Don't buy ever from this place they don't tell the truth about totally satisfying you. Now I'm getting a lawyer and calling the better business bureau and consumers advocate to get satisfaction. Stay clear from P.C.Richard &Son. I will renew this date of my complaint every month to see i get the satisfaction from false promises made this place (P.C. Richards) makes you want to buy used only and save thousands of dollars! I had a dishwasher installed and they up-charged me by either 100 or 175 dollars. I'm still trying to get to the bottom of the situation (and this may impact my review) but as of now I'm very displeased when my installation fee went from 50 dollars to a total of 225 because they had to install a water valve. We had asked that they include this charge on our invoice and they did not. The whole process was sketchy. I'm guessing because they increased our fee by 300 percent and didn't include it on our initial invoice (even after they had someone come out and assess). They insisted on cash or check too. Coming from NYC, we New Yorkers expect a certain level of Customer Service & Client Relations that's not always found elsewhere. Stopped in this suburban nj location to take advantage of a holiday deal on an electronic item that luckily they still had stocked. 1st IMPRESSIONS: It started with the initial phone call- I was greeted cheerfully by a PC Richards employee who was friendly, professional & went the extra mile! Dan cheerfully went to inventory for me to see if there was any but was trying to let me down easy in advance as it's Black Friday (of course high shopper volume). AT STORE: In person Dan made me feel like a long time friend & was just as pleasant and genuine. During my stop-in I observed his CS with a couple who also got the "extra special treatment"... so apparently it wasn't just me?! :( HaHa Apparently Every Potential buyer seems to be treated with respect & helped in finding the right product for them. I saw him walk them through the basics of features with each question that would make some annoyed; his temperament is such that he didn't appear to notice. I also had the pleasure of meeting JP, a manager, who helped me out with an issue & is an "out of the box" solution driven person. High kudos to this man. He shared a little background on the company & touted its' family roots & culture. He's a rare multi-taker too, definitely a good hiring decision that's for sure! FEEDBACK: I see some bad reviews below. PC Richards obviously don't manufacture the products so can't be held accountable for that. And Running a delivery/installation component is always challenging for any company, I have 1st hand business experience with this. From my buyer experience at this location, I think if you have a reasonable genuine issue- they'll do the right thing for you. I think it goes without saying (?) that we have to treat others as we want to be treated, so calm heads should always prevail especially within communication. REPEAT? I needed to completely outfit a kitchen and laundry, which was difficult because of low stock due to covid. Nick found complete matching sets, and had them shipped to me. When there was a problem with one of the appliances, Nick had it fixed. He also saved us thousands over the large chain stores. I'd ask for him specifically; he is super competent, and we didn't have to ask, he just applied discounts he found, and helped us get rebates from the manufacturer. read more

This is an edited review as I had had a difficult time with my remote starter installation. I came home and wrote a not very good review. The installation manager called me immediately and wanted to discuss how we could fix it. I live 4 hours away from where the store I had the install was. The installation manager actually arranged to drive 6 hours (he's even further from that store) and fix the install. I suggested I'd be fine having the job fixed elsewhere if they would just pay for it, but it was important to him to fix it themselves. He arrived this am, after leaving his house at 4:30 and got the job done. I'm very impressed. And my remote starter works perfectly! If you wanna talk about good people doing a good job then let's talk about Felix. Every time I've gone to check something out or have something done this dude has single handedly made it not only fast and easy he also managed to make it pleasurable. He knows and cares about what he does and always gets it done right. Pc Richards is lucky to have a dude like that on staff. But back to my point if you need new speakers or radio or anything like that installed in your car this without a doubt is the place to get it. read more

Bosch Dishwasher Install Nightmare I purchased a Bosch dishwasher from P.C. Richard in Mt. Laurel two weeks ago. While the salesperson was good and management was excellent, the installation of the dishwasher was a nightmare. It took three different installers to visit my house to get it installed. P.C. Richard uses sub-contractors to install their appliances. The first installer, spanish was first language, would not adapt the water line to connect the dishwasher. So I had to spend $200 to get a plumber to reconfigure the water line so the installer could just connect the stainless steel water line. The second installer, spanish first language and different from first, tried to install the proprietary Bosch electrical junction box behind the dishwasher. They shoved and rocked the dishwasher trying to get it in the opening but it would not go back far enough because the junction box was too big for the space that Bosch provides under the dishwasher. They wanted to just screw in the clips and leave it sticking out about two inches. What was required was to relocate the electrical line to the sink base by drilling a hole in the cabinet. They would not do that. And the install instructions from Bosch specifically says that the junction box was NOT to be installed in the dishwasher compartment. I guess they can not read directions in English. When I stopped them from shoving the dishwasher and pushing on the door and said I was going to call their boss, they stormed off. After calling the store and speaking with store management, who was very nice, decided to have the installer that they use for there high end appliances like Sub Zero, come and install the dishwasher. His name was Doug. Doug came to the house, pulled out the dishwasher, drilled a hole into the sink base, ran the electrical wire into the sink base, connected the junction box, connected the water and drain lines, slid the dishwasher into the opening, leveled the dishwasher, and screwed down the clips. It now fit perfectly. He was done in about 30 minutes. He even cleaned up the sawdust from the drilling. He then tested the dishwasher. Doug did an excellent job. So, a long story short, the ordeal was over. My recommendation to anyone buying a major appliance from P.C. Richard is to specifically require Doug to do your install. If an installer shows up and speaks spanish as the first language, you are probably in for a nightmare. read more

Don't be fooled by the 1 star, I had to for the review. I bought a GE Refrigerator from them October 2018. Since then it's been nothing but trouble going down three times. PC Richards just sells these products, they don't service them or stand by them. You have to call GE Service and wait a week for them to come out to fix it. I'm assuming they are busy fixing all of their crappy appliances since the earliest appointments are a week out. So buy a cooler after the refrigerator purchase so your food doesn't go bad waiting for them to come out. Terrible experience! read more

I went yesterday to get my viper car alarm and auto start installed by Mike the Car Installer. It was finished within two hours, reasonable time. The price to install was included in the price of the system, so paid $190, after taxes, which i thought was a pretty good deal. Now my 2002 Mazda Protege5, has an alarm, auto start,and more. Not only that something was wrong with my car, and Mike helped out alot, which he really didn't have to do. BUYER BEWARE Ordered a Bosch Dishwasher on July 13th with installation. They installed a broken dishwasher. After waiting an additional 10 days, they installed a second dishwasher with a hole in it. P.C. Richards they deferred to Bosch. As of today we are still waiting to hear from Bosch when a third dishwasher will be installed Having a large family dinner on Sunday.....Very disappointing. My dishwasher broke the day before Thanksgiving. I went online & found a great deal on a GE dishwasher from P.C. Richards & Sons. I placed my order on 11/30/20 & I received an email stating that I would be receiving updates. They also took the money from my account. Fast forward, it's February & still don't have my dishwasher. Also, if I didn't call them monthly, I wouldn't know that there is an issue with GE. Apparently my Black Friday deal was a "special order" & they don't carry them. Mind you, I recently ordered my GE stove from Home Depot that was a "special order" & received it within 3 weeks of ordering. Don't get me wrong, I understand that somethings are out of their control. However, what I don't understand is why I have to chase them down to give me updates. This is my second time writing a review for PC Richard and it is just as favorable as the one I wrote 4 years ago when I made my first set of purchases through Dan Weaver who remains an excellent and knowledgeable sales person. This time around I was purchasing a washing machine and knew I needed to talk to Dan before deciding on what I wanted to buy. As he did in the past he gave me pros and cons of the models I was considering and seemed to know much more about these machines than I was able to glean on line. I had seen the machine I decided on for a lower price on a competitor's website and this price was matched instantly. I never feel pressured to" buy immediately" when I shop here and that is a huge plus for me as well. And why I keep returning and asking for Dan's assistance. My washer was delivered on the day promised and within the window I was given. The installers were professional in demeanor and completed the install quickly and seamlessly. Stop at Best Buy, Sears, or a flea market instead of this slimy pit. I purchased an expensive tv and it broke long before it should. The employees are either incompetent or big fat liars. I say this because the entire repair and subsequent replacement process was unbelievably frustrating. If you decide to enter the store I recommend protective eyewear. They do a lot of finger pointing at each other to place blame on someone else that you may suffer eye injury. Regardless of who I have spoken with about getting the tv repaired, replaced, or delivered, they have demonstrated an amazing ability to throw someone else under the bus for their store's ineptitude. Two weeks after our tv popped and sent up a puff of smoke, we are still without a tv. read more

I am very disappointed in the service at P.C. Richard & Son in Marlton, NJ. On 4/30 I purchased a 32 inch 4K tv and DVD player. After getting it home and setting it up I was not happy with it so I returned it today 5/1. When I got to the store no one bothered to try and help me. I had to wait 5 minutes before someone finally came up and asked if I needed help. After I said yes the guy disappeared and then I waited another 5 minutes before someone finally did help. They got the salesman who assisted me yesterday and he was very nasty and rude. When I explained why I returning the items he stated that we had discussed those features yesterday. To be honest, I don't remember. I told him I still wanted to return them and he just walked away and then about 10 minutes later he came back with my receipt and just said here and walked away! He never acknowledged the return and credit on my card! The sad part is that he lost a sale! The salesman never asked if there was anything else he could do!
