There seemed to be enough staff and people walking around, although no one checked to see if we needed assistance. I was looking for some home & garden items----specifically a few hanging plants and some light bulbs. No dice. Their home and garden area had some plants which were in pretty sad shape and only 4 hanging plants for over $25 each that looked like they were almost dead. As far as finding a BR 40 indoor flood bulb--- no luck there either. I ended up ordering it online instead.

He had difficulty trying to find it on his computer. I looked up the item I. A second in my phone. Burlington had stock he called the store for us to pick up. All was fine until he mentioned the gas price to get there and said it was Trumps fault. He went on and on about Trump. Even after we told him we were conservatives. He then got more aggressive. Another associate over and heard him ranting at us about the most horrible things and his hatred got louder. We were in shock. The complete unprovoked unprofessional behavior was not acceptable. We have an account here, we shop here often. This was disgustingly disgraceful act at your Mt Laurel nj store. #0194

Everyone has always been very patient and kind and very helpful to me. I really appreciate how patient they are with me always. From cutting my Christmas tree to finding a small bolt size, they have always been kind and good to me. I appreciate this small business and am willing to pay a little more for items to keep them in business. Not having a husband, it's nice to know there are nice people out there willing to help me when I need a hand.

They aren't always friendly, but generally helpful, but my last visit took the cake! The owner treated me so rudely that I still can't get over it! First, when I said I knew where to find what I needed, he told me harshly "to stand there and don't move". When I followed him to say I needed something else too, he yelled, "I told you to wait there!" Then, when I was paying at check out, he came back and told me "stop talking to my staff and let them do their work". So, after I paid and was walking out the door I said to the person entering, "Watch out someone is in a bad mood today"; and then the owner really yelled at me. I'm 72, a woman, and he's a BULLY! Its back to the BIG BOX stores for me.

UPDATE: Shout out to Store Manager (Mario) for working with me to resolve this situation…read more Good to know some people still have a heart and can apply logic despite "policy". Thanks again! ---- Original Post---- As a homeowner, my husband and I have shopped in both Lowe's and Home Depot for over 20 years. We have spent an extraordinary amount of money in both of these stores. We rarely need to make returns, but we just had a recent instance of having to return 5 bags of polymeric sand because we decided to have the job done by a contractor. I saved the receipt and my husband went to the store to return the sand. It was a VERY UNPLEASANT experience to learn that there is a 90 day window on returns (with receipt) and NO EXCEPTIONS ARE GRANTED FOR A RESELLABLE ITEM such as polymeric sand! Needless to say, we have made our LAST purchase at Lowes and I will be sharing this VERY NEGATIVE experience EVERYWHERE I can.

They said it's "checked before leaving," but when my installer came, several key parts were missing. When I spoke to Megan at the store, she said since 48 hours had passed, there's "nothing they can do." Seriously? I paid for a new product, not a half-empty box. Feels shady -- parts don't just disappear. Check your boxes before leaving this store!

The store foot print is small and the selections are limited. The brands are usually in-house HF brands. The store is organized well. Knocking 2 stars off for a few reasons. During my latest visit many of the items were out of stock. Being well aware of the inventory challenges many retailer are having, it was frustrating because we had specifically checked online to see if what we were looking for was in stock (the site allows you to select your store location and identifies what is in stock at the chose store). There was only one cashier open and then line was long and slow. Also you get what you pay for. We had purchased an oscillating saw with a separate blade. After using it only for one project, the blade broke. Luckily you can get extra blades in store (if they are in stock which they weren't). However other big box retailers do sell a blade option which will work with the HF saw, so that is the option we will have to go with. Additionally Harbor Freight was infamous for their 20% off coupons which used to flood all newspapers. However these days the coupon is elusive, and comes out only a few times a year and usually with several restrictions. Also they have lower prices on certain items if you sign up for a store membership which costs about $30 a year. Things to know: -Carts are small, big boxes will not fit -Expect to wait to check out -If you are buying an item during the time they are running a 20% off one item coupon promotion, double check to see if your items qualify. The list of exclusions is pretty long. -Check online to see if an item is in stock before going to the store. It might not be accurate but you can also see what items are definitely out of stock -HF's website has the ability for you to order items to be shipped to you, however have never used that option. -The store will have a table with clearance items which are priced lower. Sometimes you may get lucky and find what you are looking for there and save a few dollars.
