UPDATE: Shout out to Store Manager (Mario) for working with me to resolve this situation. Good to know some people still have a heart and can apply logic despite "policy". Thanks again! ---- Original Post---- As a homeowner, my husband and I have shopped in both Lowe's and Home Depot for over 20 years. We have spent an extraordinary amount of money in both of these stores. We rarely need to make returns, but we just had a recent instance of having to return 5 bags of polymeric sand because we decided to have the job done by a contractor. I saved the receipt and my husband went to the store to return the sand. It was a VERY UNPLEASANT experience to learn that there is a 90 day window on returns (with receipt) and NO EXCEPTIONS ARE GRANTED FOR A RESELLABLE ITEM such as polymeric sand! Needless to say, we have made our LAST purchase at Lowes and I will be sharing this VERY NEGATIVE experience EVERYWHERE I can. read more

Avoid Lowe's Maple Shade! Bought a brand-new Bosch dishwasher -- the box was already open. They said it's "checked before leaving," but when my installer came, several key parts were missing. When I spoke to Megan at the store, she said since 48 hours had passed, there's "nothing they can do." Seriously? I paid for a new product, not a half-empty box. Feels shady -- parts don't just disappear. Check your boxes before leaving this store! read more

We have spent over $15000 at Lowes during our home renovation. The delivery service is absolutely atrocious. Of three appliances two, the dishwasher and induction oven, were badly dented on multiple sides. Customer service said there was nothing they could do because we weren't able to open the boxes right away. Really frustrating, expensive, and disappointing experience. read more

Okay, this is not the store in Maple shade itself. It's more the Lowe's app. I made a purchase for the app. A washing machine to be delivered in 2 weeks. 2 days before it's supposed to be delivered. I get a notification that there's insufficient funds. Why I already made the purchase. Long story short, I kept talking to the customer representative about this and never got my washing machine even though I had the money in the account. I tried again to make a purchase for the washing machine and this time it went through and had it scheduled to be delivered on Saturday. Delivery guy came and told me he could not bring the washer into my basement Even though I had the same washing machine delivered several years ago with no issue. read more

Fun times. First we are greeted by staff in the parking lot pointing out a customer. Then get in the store looking for assistance in getting keys made. Ask the cashier to call for assistance. She called right away. We stood in aisle 2 for about 5 minutes. I walk out into the main aisle and three staffers are chatting away. They see me and continue to chat another minute. Then one walks the other way. Another one slowly walks toward me and asks if I need help. Uh....yes....been waiting. She says she didn't hear the p.a. announcement. And then she came to assistance. They were out of stock for one the keys she says....out of stock and walks away. Clearly she could have suggested that we use the nearby kiosk. Whatever, we figured it out. I guess she was mad that I wanted her to perform her.....job. Geez. read more

Worst costumer service. Not a good tone of voice to to work with clients who's looking for help. . read more

This Lowe's is easy to get to from either Route 73 or Route 38. They have everything you would expect from a home improvement store. Customer service is hit or miss, just depends on the associate you find. Unlike some of their competition, they do offer the occasional coupon. Something in a mailer or printed on your receipt. Either way, its a nice perk. read more

This Lowes store has the absolute worst customer services. The managers don't know what they are doing. You will wait on hold for 30mins to an hour only to be hung up on several times. If you need to get anything done with customer service you have to go in person, wait and for someone to help you only to be told you have to wait or come back. I have done several purchases and install orders with 3rd party vendors of Lowes and working with their 3rd party vendors is easier than working with this Lowes. Buyers beware. Do not expect to get answers or the help need. Th. Are always short staffed and when you're in store needing help, good luck finding someone. read more

I came here for a simple bolt... customer service had an incredible line that I wasn't going to wait in. So I happened to spot an employee but most times it's like trying to catch a gazelle, they're always on the move. I asked the employee if they could call someone over to the dept I was in, I guess I got the luck of the draw bc the woman was actually knowledgeable and I mentioned that; Other than that due to 'Covid', the front end was a series of ropes and mazes to get through and the self checkouts are usually full whenever I'm at a store, but I managed to buy my 1 item with not much wait. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I'm so disappointed with their customer service. The woman who was working called the manager, and he couldn't even make time to come out and talk to us or try to help. They were a waste of time. Will not be going back. Ended up ordering what I needed on Amazon for way cheaper. Will be going to Home Depot or ordering from Amazon for now on. read more

We ordered a stove and dish washer. I confirmed with them to call my number, they even had my number saved to my husband's account since the last time we ordered from them they called me as my husband's phone is always muted due to work. The dishwasher wasn't in stock so it would be a couple weeks. Fine. They read my phone number off to me as the contact number. Two weeks go by and my husband looks down at his phone at lunch time to see 7 missed calls..from Lowes. They were at our house trying to deliver the appliances. My number was never called once. Husband called the next day to reschedule and the employees couldn't even find any proof of the transaction (we had receipt) and said a manager would call back asap. It was memorial day weekend so we didn't push it, they were busy. But by Weds still no call. Absolutely unacceptable. We paid them a lot of money, carefully confirmed who they'd call, they called a number I didn't even think they had and then just have left us hanging. Update: Finally got to talk to someone. She was completely rude, didn't want to be bothered, and told us the only way we could ever get the appliances we ever paid for was to call the store between the hours of 5AM and 7AM. Not really acceptable. Our work schedules made that impossible so we called around noon. Got a at least nicer lady who listened and said she'd call back. Never did. Now one week out past the missed delivery and no idea when or if we will be receiving the things we paid for already. read more

Here is the scoop: 1. You cannot find someone to help you! 2. If you call, the phone rings and rings and rings... 3. The inventory in the store is very nice, but you cannot find a person to help you with questions 4. I bought a fabulous Larsen screen door from Lowe's, but it took three trips before a salesperson would set-up appointment for installation 5. Two years ago, I bought four matching LG appliances at Home Depot even though it was a bit less expensive at Lowe's. Why would I do that? Because no one had time to talk to me at Lowe's. 6. Please Lowe's hire good salespeople! 7. I must add that the sales staff in the garden center is good. read more

I can literally be standing in the middle of an isle, clearly looking for help for 10 minutes and not see a single worker walk by anywhere. But! When I do find someone for help, they were very knowledge, friendly, didn't try to up sell me and made the experience 100% better. It's absolutely amazing to me how often Lowe's is capable of blowing Home Depot out of the water, across the land, and into a big dumpster. Seriously. I needed a key duplicated. They did it on the spot. I wanted a house plant. I have a Lucky Bamboo hanging out in my window. A table lamp? Got it. Sometimes, I'm tempted to go to Home Depot, as it's closer to me, but then I re-consider. Sometimes, stores are worth the extra five minutes of driving. This is one of them. read more

Lowe's Home Improvement - Hardware Stores Near Me - Maple Shade, New Jersey

My Home Warranty' company agreed to replace my refrigerator. We found a good option for us and the order was placed (Tuesday) from the Maple Shade Lowes.. After a few days we were told the refrigerator would be delivered the coming Monday. Monday morning we got busy clearing out the refrigerator and prepping for the delivery. No one showed. After repeated calls to Lowes we found that no delivery had actually been scheduled. But we were told it would be delivered the next Monday. That Sunday we got a call from Lowes providing a delivery time window. We again got things ready for the delivery. No one showed. I called and eventually found out that the appliance was never put on the truck. more calls and we were *guaranteed* that our delivery would happen Monday. No one showed. No one called. I ended up speaking to Pat who said that he would personally make sure that the delivery would happen the next Monday. Apparently this means nothing because , of course, no one showed. Calls to the store go unanswered, or answered after 10+ minutes of waiting for *someone* to pick up. then I get to hear how the person is the only one there, put on hold for someone else and eventually disconnected. Customer service has been unhelpful, has no clue and will eventually drop your call. Apparently Lowes (at least this branch) cannot deliver an appliance or oad a truck. We are trying to get some other resolution through the home warranty company, since it's been 4 false deliveries now. Just to get away from Lowes in general and this branch in particular. If you value your time, do not order from here. There are other options available that you should take advantage of. read more

Always have better experiences here than at the Depot which is less than a mile away. This one is situated somewhat oddly, but one nice thing is that if you go out that back side exit, you can get right to the Moorestown mall without going out to 38 again. Their plant selection is pretty good, it is covered partly, like many Lowes that you might see. They also have self checkout in a couple aisles, which I hadn't see in all locations. Plus, once you're done here, plenty of interesting places to hit for a bit afterwards that are nearby (Iron Hill, Pizzeria Uno, Yokohama, etc.). read more

Lately, due to COVID-19, this Lowe's has been exceptionally busy leading to long lines (today I waited over 30 minutes to make a return) and annoyed customer service representatives. While waiting in line to pick up an online order today, I witnessed Kim, a customer service representative belittle and disrespect customers. Between her negative attitude (I.e. saying "these customers can wait all day") and demanding comments, she was far from pleasant. I completely understand how stressful her job must be, especially given today's current environment, but it was quite frustrating to witness her treat people with disrespect. HOWEVER, there was a redeeming moment. Ed, another customer service went out of his way to assist me after seeing me disappointed after a portion of my online pick up order was missing. Ed was courteous and delightful to speak with. He also exhausted every resource to find my missing order and find a quick solution! Thank you so much Ed! I look forward to seeing you around during future visits. read more

I really want to love this Lowe's. It's convenient for all my renovation projects and I like the selection of home improvement materials and decor. But it's just AWFUL! The staff is completely unconcerned with customer service. There are never any carts. On 3 occasions we went to buy lumber and had to leave and go to Home Depot because we had no way to transport the lumber to check out. Often, the staff uses all the carts to hold inventory, both clogging up the aisles and keeping the carts from customers. The cart that are sometimes available often have broken wheels. Today, we had to teach the checkout lady how to scan lumber. She kept looking for a price tag. I spend thousands and thousands of dollars here a year, but now I'm switching back to Home Depot and other smaller suppliers. I just can't waste my time here anymore read more

I did a return today and it was a very unpleasant experience, almost feeling like dealing with a devil. First they couldn't find my online receipt and when they finally determined it was a legitment return, they didnt refund the entire amount. Lowe's has very bad customer service! I have ordered my refrigerator at store they said they are going to delivery in 10 business days, they didn't call me for late delivery, when I called 4 times finally someone tell me it's going to delivery on tomorrow ( on 11th day), when the truck came they opened the box the fridge door was broken and some scratched at front and side! When I called store customer service ( waited for 10mins there is some one to pick up) and told her the damage, she only said " we will call you for next delivery" and hung up the phone on me! In three day I have called them about 20 times, each time waiting 9mins -20mins then disconnected if someone picked up then transfer to other line then Waited about 10 mins more it disconnected itself ! I tried to called the from Wednesday-Friday for 20 time I'm still can't reach them to talk to! So disappointed I'm wondering how Lowe's does business! read more

Spoiler Alert...Lowes will go out of business soon! The downfall of Lowes is amazing! This box store was once the model of efficiency. Orders were correct, the staff was knowledgeable, timing was impeccable and the product was a good value. They are now in a downward spiral plagued with incompetency, guess work and unaccountability. My story starts on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 with the purchase on a Samsung front loader washer with pedestal to replace a 10 year old similar Samsung that was not economically worth the repair. The new order was set for delivery on Saturday, March 23rd. On Thursday, March 21st I receive a call from XPO, the third party delivery service, stating my delivery was scheduled for March 22nd between 12 noon to 4:00 pm. Great, I am getting my washer a day ahead of time! Wrong! XPO shows up at 4:30 pm to tell me the washer is fine, the pedestal is damaged and the new hot & cold water hoses are not on the truck. The driver recommended I refuse the entire delivery and I should call the store to reschedule the delivery for Saturday. When I called the store they immediately became defensive. They began arguing with me that the pedestal could not have been damaged because it was inspected before being loaded on the truck and I must have taken the hoses with me at the time of purchase. I asked the Lowes rep to think about what he was saying. I just spent over $1,000.00 on a washer and I am trying to beat Lowes on a $29.98 item. Miraculously, he found the paperwork where XPO were to deliver the hoses too. Now, I am rescheduled for last delivery of the day on Saturday since the XPO schedule for Saturday was already set and I am a courtesy add on. No one shows on Saturday even though I called the store around 4:00 pm to check on deliveries and I was reassured XPO will be at my home before 8:00 pm. No one showed and I did not receive a courtesy call informing me the delivery won't be made. Okay, I am insane...this exact scenario plays out again on Sunday! Of course there are reassurances from the store manager my order is on the way, but once again XPO is a no show. Lowes has ruined my entire weekend! Additionally, the store manager promises a $200.00 refund to my purchase for all the inconvenience surrounding this delivery. As of this writing, nothing has been refunded. On Monday morning March 25th having heard nothing from Lowes I call for a status. According to their records the order was delivered on Saturday and they were waiting for the paperwork from XPO. After some back and forth, they "found" the paperwork and agreed the washer was not delivered and a new delivery is scheduled for Tuesday, March 26th. XPO calls Monday evening with the delivery window between 12 noon to 4:00 pm. They show up on time on Tuesday...yippee! However, they have the same broken pedestal for delivery! The driver in this case recommends two things: he leaves the Samsung washer in my garage; and Lowes should put a rush order for a new pedestal and hoses. Another call to Lowes and another round of frustration! Finally, I did receive a call from Lowes that they would loan me a top loader washer until the Samsung installation could be completed. Apparently, they ran out of pedestals. At this point, I am on the list for the last delivery on Wednesday, 27th for a loaner washer. Well, they show up around 8:30 am because the driver was told to make me one of the first deliveries of the day. More communications breakdown between Lowes and XPO. So, where do I stand? A new Samsung washer is in my garage, a Roper top loader loaner washer is in my laundry room, no $200.00 refund for my inconvenience yet, and absolutely no idea where we stand with backorder of the pedestal! Attention shoppers, before you purchase anything from Lowes think twice! UPDATE: After several more phone calls with the geniuses that work for Lowers, I am happy to report I have my Samsung front loader washer properly installed on a good pedestal, the loaner top-loader washer has been removed and the courtesy refund was processed. All the pieces fell in place in the late afternoon on April 14...yes Palm Sunday. In closing, Lowes has the ability to make our federal government look like a model of efficiency! My recommendation to you is skip Lowes and look elsewhere when shopping for box store products. read more

I used to only go to Home Depot, since that's what I grew up with, but in the past few years, the quality of their items has diminished significantly, and really, the only reason I go there anymore is because you can cut your own trim to length, rather than having to buy longer sections. Anyway, the store is laid out bass ackwards, in my opinion, but the quality of their goods is much higher than Home Depot. There's also usually a choice of grades, so you can spend $10 on a low quality item, $15 on a higher quality, and $25 on the highest quality. Kobalt tools are also a pretty good alternative to Craftsman or Snap-On, and they're much cheaper. Lowe's really shines in their plant department. They've got a great selection, and fairly good prices. Where they sorely lack is their customer service. Just like Home Depot, any experienced people they once had are long gone. The only people, it seems, that work there now are idiots. If you need to ask someone a plumbing question, you'll never get an answer. It's even more difficult to actually FIND someone to ask that question. I once ordered a custom door from them, at significant cost, and when it came it, it was COMPLETELY wrong. I had two wait an additional two weeks while the door was being made and shipped. I digress...Lowe's is a big box store with big box prices. You can get a bunch of different stuff there, just not answers. If you need answers, go to a True Value. read more

I am so disappointed in Lowes installation service. DO NOT BUY FROM LOWES IF YOU NEED SOMETHING INSTALLED. Lowes in New Jersey and Philadelphia use only one company named Nickson (Nixon) Home Services. They are horrible. I purchased an item from Lowes and it has been over a month and the product is still not installed. I had to take off work three times and had people out to the house and each time they leave without installing the item. I have called Lowes numerous times about this and they do nothing. They say they are going to call Nickson Home Services but they can never get through to them. Lowes told me they will escalate the situation and call me back to follow up... but they never do. I have had to stay on top of this situation every week by calling Nickson Home Services AND Lowes... yet still nothing is done. They have made numerous errors like putting my account under the wrong person's name (someone I don't know) and then they are unable to find my account. Finally, the last time Nickson Home Services came to the house they tried to charge me more money on top of what I already paid Lowes. I said this is the first I am hearing about this and why wasn't I told over a month ago the first time you came out to the house? When I called Lowes to complain AGAIN... the woman tried to blame me and said I needed an outlet put in (the wires are already there). I responded by saying, "I told you that numerous times and everyone at Lowes kept telling me that the $250 covers the outlet. Now, you are changing your story over a month later!" Lowes customer service again tried to blame me for the confusion and I would not take it. I called Lowes numerous times and told them exactly what needed to be done in detail (I'm not new to home improvement) AND this is the FIRST time they ever said anything to me about paying them more money to put an outlet in when the wires are already there. I told customer service, "shame on you for trying to blame me for your problem." Lowes handled this situation very badly and does nothing about the crap show and disorganization of Nickson Home Services. Don't use Lowes until they get new installers!! I will not buy anything else from them until they change who they work with. Just look up Nickson Home Services and you will see they have only 1 star! read more

The only thing that works in favor of this particular Lowe's is their location - right off I-295 and next to a Home Depot. Otherwise, if you want quality service, I'd recommend the Voorhees location. Basically we were doing our due diligence before remodeling all three bathrooms. We've hit every store in the area, including this particular Lowe's. The selection is good and at times exceeds Home Depot with very competitive prices. However, it was difficult if not impossible to find anyone to help us and what's worse, when we were ready to buy tile, they happened to be out of it and referred us to the Voorhees location (after they checked the system). Guess what? Nor only Voorhees location was out of this particular tile, but all local stores were, so I've no idea what exactly did the person at Maple Shade checked... If you know what you want/need and where to find it - this is a great place to go.. if you rather get some help go to the Voorhees store or the Cherry Hill's Home Depot. read more

I'm actually okay with this Lowe's - they have a lovely garden section and we recently have spent more time there because I like their appliances, vanities, etc. much more. Their selection is solid. Nice store, but the customer service is lacking. I can't think of any time when I was walking around that an associate asked if I needed help looking for something. Hence, I'm usually just wandering aimlessly around. 90% of the time I've been there, only 1 or 2 registers are open. Today, that was also the case, so I headed to a self-checkout register. As with other stores, the infamous message, "Item removed from bagging area" popped up after I rang each item up. Then, it was trying to weigh an item for no reason, and stopped working for several minutes. People around me were also having issues with the self-checkout. After waiting 3 minutes, I was just ready to leave the stuff and leave, then the register finally worked. On a positive note, the layout is pretty good, and they usually have what I need. The times I have gone to a cashier to check out, they've generally been friendly. I just wish the associates walking around would be called up to register to improve checkout times. I'll keep going here, because I'm happy with their products and it's convenient for me. However, don't count on being helped in a timely manner, even if you're waving your arms up like a kid waiting for the Ice Cream Truck. If you like waiting, then this is the store for you. You can wait on one of the few open lines with many people, or wait while dealing with self checkout issues. Your pick! read more

This place is a total joke. The employees here have no sense of urgency. The customer service desk is a total waste of time.

Pretty great people around. I was helped by various people in order to get supplies for a project I needed. Once explained what I was trying to do, the people who worked there were able to suggest the supplies I needed. BAD COMMUNICATION AND NO PROJECT COORDINATOR Purchased a patio door with an installation package at Maple Shade store in August . The absolute epitome of incompetence. I have a fence that is falling down and so in January I purchased the replacement. The sales guy came to the house, took the measurements and said although he was backed up, he would have it done around end March. I said no problem, because I trust Lowe's and figured it would be done in a reputable and quality way. So this Monday was supposed to be the day my supplies for the fence were delivered, and they weren't. So the installer shows up on Tuesday, and he has no fence to install. So now I'm ticked off, because the current fence is literally on it's last legs and is being propped up with various items to keep from going down. I go down to the store and speak to a manager and project specialist on phone. I tell them they have 24 hours to correct this issue, or I will go public with my story and put it out there for other potential customers to view. They tell me my stuff will be out today (Tuesday). So I get home, and the truck comes and delivers my fence, or so I think. Now it's Wednesday, and again the installer shows up first thing to install the fence, and promptly proceeds to tell me they only delivered half the fence, there's still 50% of the order that's missing, and he can't install half a fence when I have both children and a dog. So again, I start calling corporate, and drive over to the MS store. I'm told a truck should be out today to complete my order, and the guy asks what pieces are missing. I tell him I'm not a fence installer, that's why I pay you guys to do this for me, I don't know what is missing it's only because the installer told me there were pieces missing, that I know. So I have to say this experience has been horrible in dealing with them. This order wasn't placed a week ago, where I could almost understand and forgive scrambling for supplies, it was placed in January. So for the months of February and March, this order could've been confirmed and squared up. My 200 person wedding wasn't this difficult to coordinate. I have already lost 2 days of work, and now am staring down the barrel of a 3rd day, because the supplies are not yet here, and nothing has been installed, and nobody has even called me to tell me what's going on nor what I should expect. I am literally embarrassed for them, and am disgusted that a company that is supposed to do this kind of stuff as part of their portfolio is so absolutely horrific at it. I told them if they want me to call Home Depot, they should've just told me from the get go, as Lowes doesn't appear to know which way is up, and the left hand has no idea what the right is doing. read more
