Great store! Great Selection and prices seem decent!…read more So I bought a house recently and boy are we out of our league! The original as well as the previous owners both put in weird lights all over the house and we are having a nightmare of a time trying to replace bulbs... So I took a few of them to Ace to try and figure out what I need, and unfortunately they were unable to help me. The labels on the bulb faded, and they looked like 3 different types of bulbs and we had no idea the wattage... The store was jam packed! It has very small aisles, just big enough for 2 people to walk down. Every square inch has something to sell. It is basically a slimmed down Home Depot. It was nice but a little dated and shabby, but if you come here you are not looking for a new clean modern aesthetic, you are here for a specific item. All in all the staff was friendly, but unfortunately was unable to help me with my bulbs. If I do need basic home improvement items, this will be my place to go!

After 8 days and no call from them, I called on a Friday and was told that they had been there for 2 days and could be picked up. I asked why I wasn't contacted and was told "we don't do that". I entered the showroom and asked the sales person if I could pick up my items. He told me no, the items had to be picked up at the counter. When I asked why there is no info on the websi about the parts counter being closed, he told me that they were trying to update the website for months but still hadn't done so.

When picking up their rental equipment, Wharton's truck left huge ruts in our park. When we called the company about it, their representative was extremely rude, not listening, speaking louder instead of hearing us. and over talking our concerns about this public trip hazard and ugly scar that they caused in our park. Their person lied to us, saying the contract we signed relieves them of any responsibility of the damage they caused. Our lawyer looked over that contract, and verified that that's not what the contract said. Wharton hardware is a careless company that lies to its customers. BEWARE!
