LG products are garbage and the extended warranty is a joke! Bought a high end washer that had developed a broken hinge in 16 months! They refused to fix it stating "it is cosmetic" Each time i lift the lid half the lid comes up with it. Called corporate and call for action becasue NO ONE should have to spend $$$ for garbage! The Customer Service Department needs some training on how to work with customer calls and how to be customer focused. I just spoke with a very curt lady who really needs an attitude adjustment. I was connected to Customer Service because the call was not answered by Millwork. Before I had a chance to say anything she said curtly "please hold" and she put me on hold. When she finally came back on line, I was able to note that I just needed to be contacted with Millwork as I had been on hold waiting for someone in Millwork to answer the call. All she did was transfer my call, no professionalism, no "Sure, please hold" Of importance to note, all I needed to know was if an item I needed could be ordered as it is not available in stock. Someone in Millwork finally answer and I was asked if I could please hold. I replied "Sure" and was put on hold. As of right now, my total hold time from the first connection is 23 minutes, which is unacceptable. I guess Millwork forgot I was on hold which is also unacceptable. read more

Deptford, NJ Store: Worst service ever. Came in with my wife on Sunday to select some lumber for a project. Needed to have it cut, but there was no one available. Several employees paged the person responsible, and no one showethere. I finally found my wife, who was collecting paint and hardware for the project, and told her we were leaving and to leave everything she had collected right there. One employee in the Pro Section asked if I was OK when I left the wood I had put back, and I said yes. We had arrived after church and hadn't planned on spending the day in the store, so after half an hour (or what seemed like a lifetime). We left. There were too many employees in the store not to have any help. We were in and out of Home Depot in 20 minutes. But in their defense, they had the exact sizes of lumber we needed, and we didn't need anything cut. read more

Disappointed on many different levels, from the experience shopping in their store, to the quality of materials purchased. I'm not sure there's much more they could've done to disappoint me. Just forget about finding help, I know that's always a common complaint but at this store you can just forget about it. I went to the store during the coronavirus pandemic and they had one register open during a busy time. They had one long line forming. It went down the entire front of the store. I have a picture here attached to my review. The last thing I wanna do is stand in a long line with people for a long period of time especially during a pandemic. Don't understand it. I bought kitchen cabinets here for a second rental home. I'm smart enough to know not to buy it for my primary home. Anyway almost every piece that was delivered to that home was damaged in someway. A few of the pieces had to be returned due to extensive damage. It was just too much trouble to return all of the pieces, my handyman fixed many of them. Inused to think of the Home Depot as the Walmart of Home Repair and Lowes as the Target of Home Repair. That assessment has changed. I'm not even sure where to put Lowes on the map. Went in to pickup up my order for my business at customer service desk & was asked to see the card I used to make the purchase . Which was immediately a red flag as Lowes never ask to see your payment card , only the pickup barcode & id. Very ignorant & rude refused to allow me to set an alternative pickup person for my contractor to come pickup after showing my identity that matched with the order knowing I couldn't physically take the load with me. Basically forced me to take the order then in there having me sit outside store for hours awaiting until my contractor could arrive to haul the load. So this is my 2nd time buying an appliance from this location and both are 5 star experiences! Last year, the 15+ yrAmana fridge ($2600) stopped working properly where we had to call our home warranty company. They couldn't fix it so they offered us their replacement which had much less features than mine did so then they offered a check $$ to put towards what we wanted to buy. We had first went to the Lowe's in Turnersville to find something. They were kids, had no knowledge of features and then wouldn't price match to what I found on line. So, went to this Deptford location. Got the model I wanted for the price I wanted without argument and they were very nice & knowloof their products. So, the my 12 year old Kenmore Elite frond load washer 3t (the washer & dryer with pedestals were $3300) started banging horribly in the last cycle, called the home warranty company to find the drum went. So, again after arguing with the warranty people, got a check to go towards what I wanted to purchase. This time, went directly to this Lowe' On 3/13/19. We met "Rich" who was extremely knowledgeable, was so honest as well, and we purchased a Whirlpool 4.5 capacity steam washer with the load n go plus bells n whistles! It's in & I love it!!! I highly recommend this Deptford Lowe's!!! 5 stars!!! read more

Oh crap where do I start? First I was double charged; then delivery comes and was told they don't remove washers/dryers on existing bases. Paid the disposal fee but the units are in my yard. They also don't put new units on existing bases so the new units on low on the floor and my Wife has arthritis and can't reach that low. Wait...next...the dryer can't be used because an adaptor was not included with the order. So I have a washer/dryer/bases in my yard and a washer that is too low to use and a dryer that can't operate because it's not hooked up properly. Tried to call the store but kept getting transferred / disconnected so I called the lowe's credit card company and disputed the entire charge. Last purchase ever from them. read more

Abysmal service. To get any help, you have to sneak up behind most employees because they are trained to run upon customers approaching. If you come across a slow one you can sometimes catch up, but I find the stealthy approach yields better results overall. This is especially true if you can find someone stuck in a stare and playing with their own drool, as sometimes happens, since these folks are particularly unaware of their surroundings. On my last visit, it took me almost 40 minutes to capture an employee who was willing to cut a length of small plastic tubing for me, and he managed to cut off his index finger in the process. I opted to take the blood-splattered piece rather than wait around for another employee to show up. read more

Basically its another home depot but instead of those bright orange racks they have the grey racks. One claims they are better than the other, their tools are not as good as home depot, i prefer Sears myself. Only reason i came in here because of the wife wanted to look at different plants and flowers.. we are doing some changes in the front yard. The staff isn't as helpful , some seemed like they didn't want to deal with you. I saw a lady just have hard time trying to find an item , sales person just pointed to the isle and left her just standing there. Atleast Home depot they try to find it with you even if they can't give you the right answers. If i do come back here its for the gardening, and hopefully all lowes aren't the same as these guys read more

I wish I owned a home to plant some of the beautiful flowers they currently have. My mom just recently told me- Home Depot is towards guys, while Lowes is catered more towards women. Makes sense when you visit both. This Lowes always seems to have someone ready to help you as soon as you walk in. Super friendly workers, quick check outs. Last time i was in here, needing some different types of tape. The employee asked me once i walked in, wasnt pushy, just friendly. Chatted along the way, described different types, and bam- out the door in less then 5 minutes. read more

This is a review that I've put off for a couple years... There's so much good about this Lowe's, but it has some frustrating negatives about it also. The highlight of the store has to be Pete back in the section that sells tiles and hardwood flooring. He's a former business owner that brings all of his years of knowledge with him to share with the customers... Dude has a ridiculous sense of humor also. Probably 80% of the products that I've bought for my home I got here. If your home needs improvement, chances are that you'll find what you need here for a decent price. The downside is that every now and then you either get a neutral answer which isn't an answer at all. And I always feel like I'm being watched and looked over several times during checkout... Especially when using the self checkout. My feeling is that if you have to stand over your customers checking themselves out, then take the self serve lanes out altogether. This review could have been easily a 4-5 star review. But I still haven't gotten over having to ask for my $2000 be returned to me five minutes after I handed them the money to have carpet installed in a few rooms. This was the result of manager on duty being a smart ass and rude. It took me over a year to return to buy anything here. They still stock great products. Most stores are pretty good about helping you out or at least asking you if you're finding everything, but not here. I have been reading other comments about Lowes in Deptford. I don't feel it is a store geared to women. No more than Home Depot is. I think it is geared towards anyone looking to do home improvement or jazz up their patio for the summer. I always felt Lowe's had a good and higher quality selection for anyone. As for the customer service, I always feel these poor folks are treated poorly by us the public. I have heard people tear the staff up when they walk away from them. Disgraceful. I prefer Lowe's over Home Depot for reasons unknown. They are legitimately both the same. Except that one may only carry a certain type of product. For example, we were looking for a specific size and style of a wooden tri fold door for a pantry we wre building. Lowes had extremely limited options in that department. I feel like both Lowes and Home Depot has rather poor customer service. You can never find someone in either store when you need them. It took us quite a few minutes to find someone to work the lumbar cutting section when we were there. if you're trying to find something specific good luck finding someone at all- and when you do- good luck with hoping they have any idea what you're even talking about. As far as items and prices- both are within reason. They have a lot of nice flowers in the spring/summer. And we got nice pre-planted pepper and tomato plants here last year. read more

Went to the Lowes in Deptford to return an item (needed to exchange for the correct item) and the return went with out a hitch. Now to get the correct item the spot was empty on the shelf and I asked the gentleman at the desk to see if there was more. He said it showed some in stock however he said it's not where it should be and he's also thrown everywhere in the store and not sure where else the merchandise would be. He did tell me that the Mantua store also showed stock and unfortunately I had to go there. That store is out of my way but in order to get my job done I had to go there. Today I visited the Lowes location in Deptford, NJ with my mother on black Friday. We were hoping to get a Christmas tree, but after dealing with the associate we decided otherwise and that we would probably never give Lowes our business again. We spent a few minutes deciding which artificial tree to purchase and the one we liked was on sale for $99. We also saw a sign posted directly above the tree that noted all artificial trees were 25% off and it did not exclude sale items. We asked the associate about the tree to confirm the price and she was EXTREMELY rude. She told us that we cannot "double dip" and it was not for sale items. She also said in a very rude tone that the sign said "to see an associate for details" and that she was an associate and she told us. When we explained that they should change their signs because it does not say it excludes sale items, we asked her if she could check with a manager. She quickly returned and said they would honor the 25% off but she was waiving her finger at us saying we could only get one tree and to NOT tell our friends and family about it. We never wanted more then one tree and only what the signage said! We said to her "we're not trying to scam you" to which she replied "oh you're not?!". She wanted to take us to the register immediately when we were not done shopping. She was SO extremely mean to us it brought me to tears. We did not purchase anything. Buying a tree should be a joyous holiday experience and she was the worst employee that I have ever encountered. After speaking to the manager Brian,although apologetic, did not go out of his way to make it right for us. Needless to say we will not be returning. read more

This place is terrible and we usually go to Mantua lowes, but they had the grill we needed at this location so against our better judgement, we went to this one. Once we found the grill we needed we waited a good 15 minutes (after pushing the help button twice) for someone to come help us get the grill box down from the shelf. We finally did get someone to help and she said the grill we wanted was also outside. No problem right?? They girl printed out an invoice for the grill and as we went up to the front to pay my husband asked how we can get it. She said "there's someone outside to help you" umm. Since when do they have people outside with the key to unlock the wire holding the grills down? I've never seen anyone!?? As we stood outside for a minute my brother than said screw it and went inside and asked someone for a key. Low and behold!! NOBODY had a key or could get ahold of a manager! After 10 minutes of standing in 90 degree weather, the manager comes out and unlocks the wire. Treats us like we're bothering him and never once asked us if we needed help trying to shove this into my brothers brand new Nissan Rogue that he could clearly see us struggling to put inside. We had to unscrew one of the shelves off the grill so it could fit inside the car. All in all, the worst customer service I've ever experienced. We spent a good half hour 45 minutes here and did their job for them. So thank you Deptford Lowes for your crappy customer service. This is why Mantua does better than you and I'll continue to go there. read more

Stood in an isle waiting for help as the help button chimed for the isle I was in. I even made it easier by standing right next to the button. I stood there for awhile and no one came. As I decided to just check out my 400+ dollar purchase I started to leave the isle and a representative came down the isle and hit the button and left. There were three of us waiting there, we couldn't believe our eyes as he left silently not even noticing us. Soooo I proceeded to the check out where only one register was opened and was standing in a line that went about 10 feet long, when a representative from painting louded said to us, "self service checkout is opened" we all turned to her and looked as she shook her head at us as we continued to stand there. Obviously we all aren't morons and saw the other self check outs but required assistances with our purchases. As I processed the whole experience, I decided to leave my cart and walk out .... Home Depot will be my new hardware store....goodbye lowes. read more
