Went into Home Depot to pick up door locks for Auntie. We didn't have an issue getting parking as I read in previous comments. The lot is limited due to it's in a massive shopping center. Twice, we went and had no issues with finding a place to park. Heading inside, the set up and layout is exactly like every other Home Depot I've visited from Hawaii, to California, to North Carolina and Florida. So I knew exactly where to go. Aunty used the buggy and we browsed the home lock and hardware section. Went over to Home appliances and made a long Christmas list for Santa. We even stopped to check put the huge Halloween display set up at the from off the store. Excellent way to get your steps in for the day! Checking out was a nightmare. It's self checkout, which is okay. They need to take a few tips from Walmart in order to get this Area right. The young lady is telling you enter to go check pot based on if you're partying cash or card. The confusion comes in when you're directing 2-3 people to the same register. Now we're down there trying to figure it out our selves. On both visits this happened. Southern hospitality kicked in and I let folks go ahead of us. Everything else was great. Inwould lost this as worst customer service ever if I only had seen someone to service me. Sat at the service desk figured out the phone sht call the front end supervisor for help and was told someone would be there I waited 45 minutes matting at there desk helping other customers never saw an associated or the requested MOB this used to be my favorite store. Hard to believe trying to custom order a door can be so difficult. Been a saga just trying to get a door for our home and get people to do their job. We had an installer come out to our home to measure our door. Says to expect a call... no call. Ok I can understand this, things come up and calls are forgotten. So after a few days of no calls we go to the store. Turns out in addition to not calling us he took all the measurements incorrectly as well and got the swing of the door wrong (turns out he put the storm door as an in swing?). The specialist who helped us left a note and said to come back the following week. We come back the following week... same issue. He says he's not sure why nobody is tending to our custom order. Try again next week. So we tried again today. We show up to the store at 5:10 head to the back to speak with specialist. He looks at us and abruptly gets up and leaves. We wait a few minutes thinking maybe he just had to go somewhere quickly because nobody in a service industry can truly be that rude. 20 minutes later I go up to the front desk at 5:30 exactly. Customer service says the door specialist leaves at 5:30 so nobody is back there. So not only did the person ignore us but he also decided to clock out early instead of helping a customer. I have never been so frustrated with a location before. It is unfortunate. Will be taking my services to Lowe's moving forward because maybe they will want to help the customer. I have a hard time recommending this Home Depot to anybody because for over a month now nobody has wanted to do their job. read more

Shopping at this Home Depot location is frustrating to say the least. Just getting into the store can be a hassle because the parking lot always seems full of people wandering around aimlessly, blocking traffic and making it harder than it should be to just park and go in. People walk between the store and the lot like they don't have a care in the world for other customers. The general view is that they need to move with more of a haste. Once inside, it doesn't get much better. The employees are polite enough, but most of them can't answer basic questions without pulling out a device. It feels like they're more dependent on their electronic devices than their own knowledge, which slows everything down if you're just trying to get quick advice or find the right item. I feel, anymore, that I get done quicker if I walk without assistance. -On top of that, the inventory isn't what it used to be. Tool shelves feel thinner, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's because more stock is being pushed online from the Home Depot website or lost to competition from places like Lowe's, Ace, or even Amazon. Whatever the reason, it makes the in-store experience less useful, and that used to be the whole point of coming here. This store has potential, but right now it feels like it's slipping behind. read more

Just want to give a very big shout out to Scott who we thought was very dedicated to his work, he was knowledgeable, and was friendly and beyond helpful to me and my husband. He went an extra mile when he tried to find the laminate flooring that we were looking for, it was really hard to find them and to get them from the overhead (because we needed a specific color- oak knoll), but Scott got it for us, and he was in a good mood the whole time. We think that he is a great asset to your branch! We'll keep on coming back to your store knowing there will be staff like him that are always willing to help. read more

They sell smashed broken appliances for top dollar. Even the workers there said don't buy appliances there . That tells the whole story

This place is better since they moved from their location right down the road (although still a little peeved that they didn't do anything with the old location, so there it sits, big and orange). Personally, always have better luck at the Lowes' location, but this one can be more convenient, since there are other good stores in the complex to allow you to get a few errands done at once. Nothing too out of the ordinary for a Home Depot, outdoors selection is usually OK, their indoor/tropical plants are OK, etc. The one thing, though, is that while it is convenient if you're picking up stuff at the contractor exit, otherwise the parking lot is not well designed/kind of a mess. read more

This store is a complete mess. The parking lot is a disaster, over crowded. The cashiers, associates and every staff that I encountered were either speaking Spanish, talking down to one another, or making inappropriate jokes or not helping customers. The aisles were disorganized and products on the floor. Some customers were so rude and ignorant entering the exit while staff stand there and say nothing and allow it to disrupts the flow of the line. I was trying to check out and a man was rushing me and putting his items on my items while I was in self checkout out. Really?! Cars are parked out front of the store blocking traffic from getting out of the parking lot. read more

This is one of the larger Home Depot stores I've been to and the parking lot is huge, though being in South Jersey, you risk your life trying to get a spot anywhere near 1/4 mile to the front door. It's mum's time! I wanted to do some comparison shopping and look at the colors of mums here and what their prices were compared to other places. There didn't happen to be a sale on, so duly noted. They looked a bit smaller than some of the local farms that I saw. I was also looking for a houseplant but didn't quite find what I wanted. Anyway, I had a few other random questions and the staff were very helpful. Bottom line: check out when sales occur! read more

This Home Depot is located at the end of the Cherry Hill Race Track Shopping Center. The parking lot is huge, but busy. The store is set up like any other Home Depot. Flowers and garden to the right, contractor supplies to the left and everything else in between. Returns and exchanges are accepted in the front of the building. Full refunds are not guaranteed. As with all Home Improvement stores, and actually retail stores in general, the customer service is hit or miss. One day you can walk the entire store multiple times and not find someone to help you, while others days someone will come up to you offering help right away. read more

Came here randomly yesterday to pick up an outdoor rug. Honestly had a shockingly good experience. Interacted with 5 workers in the store and they were all great! First person came up to us and asked if we needed help unprompted. He didn't know where the thing we were asking for was so asked someone else. We were told they were out of outdoor rugs. Then we bumped into the guy again elsewhere in the store and he found us again and told us that he was mistaken and where the rugs were. Then we asked another person were some stepstools were who gave us excellent directions. We didn't find the stools, and he bumped into us again later and followed up and suggested we check out another store where we might find what we were looking for. Finally asked another person for a light switch. He couldn't find it and asked another coworker where to look. The second person found us the exact item we needed and explained to us how to install it. Then on the way out we finally bumped into the first guy that greeted us again, and he apologized profusely for leading us astray about the outdoor rugs. It was Easter Sunday afternoon and everyone seemed like they actually liked their jobs, liked helping people, and were happy to be at work. Shopping at large chains often isn't an enjoyable experience, but we actually liked this place. It was so much better than a small hardware store we have in our neighborhood which is a shame. Will be back here for all our home depot needs in the future for sure. read more

I am not a fan of this particular store. The parking lot is a pain and even though it acts as an end store to a large shopping center, it is such as a pain to park and shop. The store layout is very confusing, and the staff is a hit or miss. I usually avoid this location at all costs and will go to Mount Laurel/Maple Shade before going here unless I have no choice. Most of the time the staff is uneducated about the products and don't know where the products are located. I appreciate the other store because I feel the management is better, the staff cares about their customer and are willing to educate and assist them with their product or home improvement needs. If you are wowed, then write a great review because I have yet to wowed. read more

This review is strictly for the nursery. I wanted to surprise mom with something nice. I took a quick look around and would have bought anything, but it needed to be ok with lots of sun and not a whole lot of maintenance. I didn't catch her name but this lovely lady helped me with everything! From a pot to all the flowers we picked out. She really seemed to be having fun helping me and gave a lot of recommendations for care instructions. She didn't push me into anything which made it fun for me too, while standing in 90 degrees heat. read more

The worst HD ever- it's such a shame that they ruin the entire atmosphere of the nice shopping area. Anytime I walk into Lowe's, the workers are always pleasant and helpful. Today there was a young man in the paint department who just could not be bothered to be stopped. When I said, "excuse me" his delayed response was "what?!" I so wish I was more handy at home. But recently I had a McGyver moment versus returning a recent purchase that just needed to be tweaked. Brought a lovely wall mounted jewelry armoire with small recess lights at the top. When the door closes the lights are suppose to go off but they remain on. The door does not press strong enough against the small button on the opposite side to click off the light. So, I come up with the idea of putting a felt pad on the opposite of the button that needs more pressure to turn off light. Oh where, oh where do I get circular felt pads? Wait for it............ Home Depot! I tried other things before that great idea came to mind and they worked but were not aesthetically pleasing to my eyes. But my felt pads work... I think I have creative juices.. Another Cherry Hill business strikes out. I walked in on an after work mission tonight: to find a space heater. I recently moved into a new office and the air is freezing. So, yes, I walked in with the clear understanding that the month is May now -- but I also entered with a specific heater's name. Rather than searching the store on my own, I walked up to Customer Service, where a lady stood on the phone. Now, I've worked in retail before. The polite thing to do when you're on the phone and someone is in front of you is to make eye contact with the person and smile. Did she acknowledge me? Not so much. She got off the phone, made a store page, and then looked at me. I asked if they had any in stock, to which I got the response, "The season is over." ...No, really? I had no idea. Now, did she add an "Oh, I'm sorry..." to that? No. Would that have helped the situation? Yes. Rather than seeing if they had any in stock, or in the back, or pretending to help at all, she simply said, "You can go look in aisle 42, where the air conditioners are. Maybe there's one hiding somewhere there." ..... Really? I won't be back, but perhaps Home Depot could invest in some customer service training. In the meantime, I have looked on HomeDepot.com, and apparently there are several space heaters in stock. Will I buy any of those? No. I'll go to Lowes instead. read more

I was there on 6/27/18 to buy patriotic items for the 4th of July. There were barely any patriotic items in the store, just a very small area with a few flags and pillows- no garden decor such as spinners, garden spikes, etc. The year before there were plenty of items. I asked a saleswoman if more items were coming and was told that is it. Very offensive! Additionally, I don't feel this store has a good selection of many items. For that reason, I head to the home depot on rt 73 instead. read more

This is one of the worst Home Depot's I have been to. You know what they carry and they do have the normal range of products. I hate when I go to a Home Depot and they don't know where product is so they just tell you an aisle and walk off but the product isn't anywhere near that isle, that happened twice. Once after being handed off to someone else who supposedly knew the location of what I was looking for, I was looking for plexiglass sheets. That's normal though, the part that sets this place below the rest is how filthy and disorganized it was. I understand busy stores but there's so much garbage on the floors and shelves. Every aisle had garbage on the ground and the shelves were a disaster everywhere I looked. There were random carts full of products that did not belong to anyone but the worst thing I saw was threaded rod sticking out right at shin height, I'm glad I wasn't wearing shorts. I implore to go to Lowe's instead. Went back yesterday and there were plenty of people standing around but no one working. I don't understand if there isn't managers here or if they don't care but this place is dangerous. read more

Well, here we go just another loss of great service and American pride and spirit.... I am a service connected disabled Veteran. I'm son and I were helping out a friend, who IA also a veteran. We sent my son over to cherry hill home depot to pick up 33 bags of Co Crete and a barrel mixer. He called the pro desk, they got the crate ready for him... No they took the call and did nothing. At that time they got the Crete ready to go. He then went to pay and had my dd- form 214 and he has my last name. They refused to give him the 10% discount. He then went to rental to pick up mixer. Well when he sall the mixer it looked like it had never been cleaned and was junk. He said something to the lady she was like oh well. He came to the house we unloaded the concrete by hand. The last 20 bags out of 33 were hard as a rock. The mixer hardly worked. So we carried the 20 bad bags back to truck and the mixer. It went back, he got more bags of Crete and a new mixer and was told this was the mixer he was always supposed to get.... what the hell right. In the mean time we are loosing the day. People standing around for hours to do this project. He showed back up we finished the job and he took the mixer back. They charged him the day rather then 4 hours. I called the store talked to Collin the MOD. He said home depot only gi es the discount to active duty service members not veterans. That is bull. We will not be shopping at a home depot again as lowes gives me and my family the discount. I think more people should stop shopping at the UN PATRIOTIC! STORE. ALL THIS ON SEPTEMBER 11TH. read more

Home improvement, and I know exactly the place for this and future renovations we got going on. Your standard affair. Home Depot, nothing out the ordinary except that my managerial past has taught me the importance of recognizing staff members who go above and beyond their daily line of work -- and Miss Marshell from the home decor and paint section deserves the shout out! She definitely made our supply hunting so so much easier. Warm, friendly, proactive in helping us out and making us feel welcome. While Marshell exceeded in her line of work, I also experienced staff members who avoided eye contact with me and would rather walk past with their nose first. From one manager to the next, I really would like to see some reinforcements on customer service quality here at this HD. With Marshell as the standard of reference. read more

One of the poorest managed stores in the area. Employees are over worked, poorly trained, & under paid. It's no wonder they are always understaffed. Management has no idea how to train any of the employees properly. It's always full with contractors. The parking lot is a disaster of a design & the contractors are always blocking the driveway so it's impossible to load anything in your vehicle if you get something large or if it's snowing/raining. If you are a regular person, avoid this place at all cost. Go to the one in Mt. Laurel or go to a Lowes instead. Do not waste your time & money here. You have been warned. read more

This Home Depot suffers from what must be institutional laziness. I've never had a positive experience here and today is another crap experience. - During one trip here I needed a pallet of mulch, I asked the cashier in the nursery who I would speak to and she said she would contact the gentleman that drives a forklift and that I should just go wait by the mulch that I needed. 20 minutes later I walked back up to the same cashier and I asked her where the forklift operator was and she said that she had paged him and that she will try again. I waited with her this time and another 10 minutes went by and nobody came she called the customer service counter who said they were on their way personally. So off to the pallet of mulch that I needed I go. Another 15 minutes goes by and still nobody comes out. At this point I call customer service from the nursery and I get the manager on the phone who says he will have someone out there asap. Finally the forklift driver arrives nearly an hour after I arrived and loads me up but nobody even hints at apologizing for all the wasted time. - Another trip looking for insulation products the HD staff is in the process of hanging a sign on the lower portion of the rack holding the materials I'm looking for, I, the customer will not prevent them from this process, so the pair of them look at me and notice I need to buy the insulation but instead of even acknowledging I'm there they continue to fiddle with the sign for another 4-5 minutes, never acknowledging the customer once. - Today Wanda the cashier had both #3 and #4 cashier lights on, and instead of turning one off the man she is talking to leaning against the back of the registers eventually says "that lane is closed, go to the other" so now I move to the other lane and Wanda still not looking at nor acknowledging the customer signs to scan my items but since she cannot stop her conversation nor look at a customer standing in front of her she cannot grab the items that I have in my hand as I'm trying to hand them to her. This place has shown over and over again that they do not know how to treat customers and are too swept up in their own conversations to help you out, if you're a cherry hill resident you're better off at Lowes or the home depot at lawnside. read more

Your standard run of the mill Home Depot. You can't find anything that you ACTUALLY need... but you can find a bunch of stuff you WANT... but don't really need. A few highly competent and helpful employees and many more that just do their best to look busy for the day. The nice thing about this location is that they do have a rental area. That helps if you can't justify buying a 30' ladder or a power washer. Oh yeah popcorn machine on the weekend? Bonus. The worst part about this Home Depot (and this isn't their fault really) is the parking situation. Horrible. It's pretty much impossible to get out of the lot and back to the light without making an illegal U-turn. Oh well. read more

So apparently Home Depot doesn't sell wallpaper, but Home Depot Online does. Who would have thought!? Anyways. It was an average March Saturday and the painting department was PACKED! Dozens upon dozens of people waiting to be helped. If only they had known about the Sherwin-Williams store across the street devoid of customers. Anyways, I perused paint samples and once I got away from that department, I was quickly approached by a sales associate and asked if I needed help. I left once I found out they didn't carry what I needed. It was a quick trip in and out, but I appreciate their customer service and it looked like every other Home Depot I have been in with practically everything I could ever imagine packed into it. read more

Does anyone actually ENJOY going to Home Depot? No one I know, and definitely no women I know. However, it is a necessary evil for the homeowner, and while I wish I could say I only go to the local home and garden stores for my gardening needs, and the local paint store for those supplies, etc., I can't help but be a slave to the convenience of the one stop shopping Home Depot offers for home improvements and repairs. We always have one renovation or another going on, and over the past 10 years of owning our fixer-upper home, have purchased almost everything from Home Depot. Whenever we need help, we are usually able to find an employee to help us, either just to point us to the correct aisle, or to actually answer some technical questions. We've also used Home Depot for some of their more professional services, too. They designed and built our custom kitchen cabinets (hubby installed) and they installed our granite counter tops. We've used them to install a new front door, and new double hung windows in our home. We didn't use them for our huge bay window, as their quote was actually almost double what we ended up paying a local window business, but all other work they have done for us has been professional and of high quality. There are a couple other projects in the house that we prefer not to tackle ourselves, and intend on hiring Home Depot for those door and window installations. Not a fun place to be, but for the necessary evil that it is, Home Depot is A-OK in my book. read more

This is one of the busier Home Depot locations in the area, and the lines at the door usually reflect that. The parking lot is a bit crazy, but there is a large area for contractors to load (although, I've seen people park there too...) The self-checkout lanes are often broken at this store, leading to larger lines at the regular lanes. The staff at this location is a bit more knowledgeable than other Home Depot locations that I've visited. The stock is usually good at this location- they tend to have more items than your typical Home Depot. read more

Been going to this Home Depot for years now. I have my own business and purchase at least a few hundred dollars in material a week. Around 7 am 11/21/17 (today), I returned some material including a water pump which I purchased a few months ago. It was finally installed in my basement by a local experienced plumber. The pump had a broken switch so I had to take it back. Anyways, when the older blonde woman with the attitude working in the Returns section saw the pump, she asked me what it was. I told her it was a water pump I purchased a few months ago. She said "well its not our pump, that's your pump!". She then pointed to the sign stating no returns on pumps purchased over a month ago. I understand policy, but I don't like attitudes. After a couple of comments back and forth, she dug her own grave by trying to prove her point. She started asking co workers about the return policy. The manager disagreed with her and had her credit the return despite policy. I had her before. Not the first time I got this attitude from her. She sucks. Don't bring your home life and attitude to work. That's the first rule on customer service. Other than that, I like everyone else there and I love the store. read more
