This Home Depot was caught lacking, if there ever was one. The store lacked any real help throughout tools and paint while we were looking for stuff. Would have been a complete bust if it weren't for the dude in lumber coming by, making sure we got addressed. At least the needed tools were well stocked and affordable, otherwise we'd be up a creek real quick.

The sprinkler pipe melted and I have to replace it uggghhh. Shoutout to Jon in Plumbing for being exceedingly kind and helpful!! He explained the parts that I need, how to use Teflon tape, and how to glue the pieces together with the blue glue. Home Depot had everything that I needed. PVC pipe (not cut to order, though, so I had to buy two precut pieces). I know NOTHING about plumbing, so I needed help. I am now equipped with pipe, elbows, and couplers galore. Yay!

Says here it lasts "throughout the lifetime". Annoyed I left empty handed.

I went in looking for low VOC paint to paint the floor in our babies room. Trying to be responsible in my purchase after reading how harmful paint can be for anyone breathing it in I asked for assistance from the guy behind the paint desk. He pointed to an aisle and said look there. Nothing appeared to have low VOC. After browsing other options he wondered by me for a third time and I told him I wasn't finding any low VOC options. He said it doesn't matter because the VOC only lasts a few days....

Talked to the owner wait 2 more weeks....6 weeks later and they sent out a very nice man to tell me... it's still alive wait two weeks. I guess what aggravates me most, my new tree could have been planted 6 weeks back, doing what it needs to do to start, get the rain settle, but they had to wait 6 weeks to make sure the stick was dead. You would think during the last 2 weeks someone would reach out and ask, how's the tree... maybe my picture of things are different in this marble we live on.

Everything is ultimately for purchase, but the owner, has her own little special display, in store, that is only for sale for the right person. WARNING: this place is actually kind of hard to find. Apple Maps doesn't take you to the right location and I found myself driving to different places in order to find it. They also don't have a sign, which is why I knocked off a star. For everyone who is wondering, like I was, it is located right next to the Taco Bell with a cute white double door. They are in the same parking lot. The prices are actually very decent for a boutique shop so it's a good place to purchase a plant or two!

I parked in the designated parking only to stop for a few empanadas at Lazo but as soon as I saw this place right in front of me, I couldn't help stopping to check it out. It was like being in a botanical garden where entrance fee is free. Beautiful flowers/plants/herbs were meticulously lined up in different sections. Some of them (due to their vulnerability I guess?) are/were under large tarps. Vibrant and or colorful, you can think of several different words to describe how beautiful the entire place. Per the signs (found throughout the place), all of them are locally grown (hence the description "Colorado Native".) As a quasi-Colorado native (have lives in this state since 1998), this means a lot to me. Yes, I SUPPORT! I didn't buy anything in fear that I would kill it (as much as I am a nature lover myself, I don't know how to take care of plants/flowers) hence I cannot speak of the value part. Everything looked fairly reasonable though. I also couldn't speak of the service part as I did purchase anything but one thing I could say about the place is the fact that its workers were out constantly caring for the plants/flowers they cherish. And the entire place looked absolutely organized. That's a good indication that they must be solid in service. I want to visit this place again next time with someone who is an avid gardener. Their prices are roughly comparable to HD and Ace Hardware. The selection of wood stains could be better. They only carry two brands, and not a huge selection of colors. But they DO have the option of mixing your own stain. I have been terribly busy lately, and one thing that I've been doing is stripping, refinishing, and reupholstering furniture. I decided to buy an orbital sander, since a palm sander isn't always the best choice. Joe, in the tool department, was AWESOME. DeWalt is the gold standard. They have a deal where if you buy the tool, you get the batteries free, or vice versa. The sander is $169. Batteries are $199? But there was also a Craftsman deal. Buy battery for $99, get $59 tool free. So, since I'm not a professional, Joe and I agreed this was the better deal. I went to the register, and everything rang up at full price. The battery was $139. Ack!! Joe went to get the sign advertising the deal. He had to cut it down. And on the sign, in tiny print that neither of us had noticed, was the expiration date of January 3rd. Because the sign was still up, I was allowed to get the deal. Woohoo! I really appreciate that. Very good customer service from Lowe's, and Joe in particular. Lowe's is a gigantic and very well-stocked store. But it's really the people that make the difference. There was also a nice lady in the paint department who helped me choose a stain.

I don't know where to begin, because Lowe's has managed to fail us at absolutely every single stage…read moreof what should have been a straightforward appliance purchase and delivery. If I could rate negative stars I would. As first time homeowners we thought Lowe's was a great start to help us with our appliances and other home improvement needs.... But rest assured we will NEVER shop at Lowe's again. We ordered appliances and had them delivered on a Friday (06/19). By that night, we had already discovered a defect in our dishwasher. Fine, these things happen, no problem, right? Except nothing about Lowe's response was fine. First, the delivery crew was a third-party "Professional" contracted by Lowe's, they apparently decided that the cardboard boxes and packaging waste from our haul away were someone else's problem. Some time over that weekend, they illegally dumped our trash in a STRANGER'S private dumpster, with my personal information plastered all over those boxes. That stranger texted ME and demanded I come retrieve it immediately, the "or else" could be inferred. My husband and I had to take time off work and drive 40 MINUTES to go pick up trash that Lowe's contractors were paid to dispose of properly. This is not just unprofessional -- it is illegal dumping that exposed our personal information to strangers. Meanwhile, I spent hours going in circles with multiple customer service representatives, each one more useless than the last. One rep had the audacity to tell me they needed to give the third-party contractor "an opportunity to fix" the appliance. I made myself crystal clear after that disgusting display of stupidity: I did not want a repair. I did not want those same two people; the ones who illegally dumped our trash, back in my home under any circumstances. I wanted the appliance removed and a full refund. That's it. And yet they kept pushing back. Then came the argument about the installation fee. They actually wanted to debate whether they could refund the install cost because the appliance had already been installed. Their contractor installed a defective appliance, illegally dumped our trash, exposed our personal information, and Lowe's response was to nickel-and-dime us over an install fee. They should consider themselves lucky that a refund and pickup are all we were asking for, we weren't even seeking compensation for the hours of work missed, the 40-minute drive, the stress, or the fact that we had to store their contractor's illegally dumped trash in our home for almost two weeks. By the time corporate customer service finished wasting my time, the 48-hour return window had lapsed and I had to contact the physical store directly just to get the process moving. The washer and dryer were their own headache -- they delivered the wrong washer and suggested I just "pick a different one," since the one I ordered was out of stock. I refused, they retrieved both units, and we got a refund. Hallelujah. The day the defective dishwasher was finally scheduled for pickup -- I received an email informing me the third-party carrier simply didn't put me on their route. Another week of waiting. Another week with a defective appliance in my home and their contractor's illegally dumped trash that I had to retrieve myself. Every single link in Lowe's chain is broken: their contractors, their customer service, their logistics, their communication, and their accountability. At no point did anyone take ownership of a situation that was entirely of their making. If you are considering purchasing appliances from Lowe's -- please, learn from our experience. Shop literally anywhere else.
