If I could give negative stars I would!!! This store needs some serious overhaul on managers and sales people!! GERRY in particular!!! He is a complete con man, liar and sales stealer!! He needs to be fired!! Went in to make a significant purchase, 6 items total last Sunday. We were greeted by a nice young man Donte, who listened to us, made recommendations, and answered our questions. Upon trying to sign the contracts the system crashed and he had to do the paperwork over.... 4 1/2 hours later, the system continued to crash and as Donte was trying to fix it, GERRY assured us that HE would have it fixed by Monday, all the while stealing the sale from Donte as it was his day off. GERRY then "promised" it would be delivered on Thursday. He called on Wednesday to say it wouldn't be delivered until Friday. All the while he is promising discounts for the inconvenience that he had to get approval for. Needless to say all of his "promises" are empty lies that he uses to continue to string customers along. Friday 2 of the 6 items arrived. When we called GERRY he said that he had to re wrap the furniture and that it would be delivered later on... Another lie, his incompetence was now very apparent... Late yesterday he " promised " the rest of the stuff would be delivered this morning... I got a call at 7:30 am this morning informing me that the truck broke down and would need to push back the delivery time to the middle of the afternoon. I have wasted 4 days of my life dealing with GERRY and I still do not have my items!!! This has been the absolute worst experience trying to get appliances that I have ever had!!! If you need appliances or furniture go ANYWHERE else but here!!! And do not under any circumstance deal with GERRY!!! As I am reading previous reviews, it sounds like this is normal for this store and staff!! You all should be ashamed at yourself for conducting business this way!!! If I could post no stars I would.. this store had a sofachaise advertised at $1299 clearly displayed with color options, arm options, and chaise facing options all included in the price.. upon checkout I was asked to sign a credit card authorization with no breakdown of price, delivery fee etc etc.. as price seemed too high I asked for breakdown., they attempted to overcharge the advertised cost by $300!!! Have had nothing but difficulty with Conn's since ordering a fridge online on 2/25/23. Delivery was to be 2/28/23 but received it 5/4/23. Paid to have the new hooked up and hauled off. No order per delivery drivers but did hook the new one up any way. The son of the driver came out of my house yelling "m$%#*r f*&%#r" because my dog "bit him". I asked to see the bite and, after standing in my driveway yelling at me, finally admitted there was no mark. She did attempt to jump on him but did not bite. However this same young one closed the back of the truck and told his dad we're leaving bruh". And they did. My daughter then called on Saturday and paid another $40 to pick up old fridge which was to be picked.up.yesterday or today aftfr submitting the paperwork. Just called again and paperwork still not processed so now could be Wednesday. This has been a HORRIBLE experience. read more

Got a washer/dryer combo and fridgerator. Price were cheaper than home depot and lowes when bought as package with promotion sales price. They have price match guarantee and actually went back because their own add beat the prices when I purchased and was easily matched. Add on 36 months zero % interest and lowes home depot can't beat them. Very pleased with delivery being in delivery window and professional. Would definitely recommend Conn's and purchase from them again! read more

After reviewing the couch then the fridge then the dishwasher the individual took a couple pictures then left, please Note this was at night time with poor lighting. That next morning when the Sun came out I respected all my items . After inspecting the dishwasher there was clearly a fairly large Dent. This was a huge concern of mine as I spent thousands of dollars to have a new set in my kitchen. After reviewing my ring home video doorbell I had a clear video of their technician setting my dishwasher on the top front where the buttons are on the ground and then pushing the dishwasher over on its face. I then reached out to Conns on multiple occasion's sent multiple emails with proof of the Video. I was told several times that the pictures there technician took doesn't show a dent and I signed the waiver there is nothing they can do for me. I then took 5 pictures in the day time of different angles 4 angles in which you cannot see the dent one angle in which you can clearly see the Dent. Find attached This still wasn't enough evidence for them they clearly said, we can not see in our picture our guy took so unfortunately we can not do anything for you ... now im stuck with a $500 dishwasher that has a dent in it . So if you want to take a chance on going through what i am going through now be my guest. They do not Value their customers. I have spent over $10000 they will not make it right on a $500 dishwasher. I am a owner of a company and understand the value of customer service in all cases the customer is right whether they are or not, in this case I feel as I have not done anything wrong and have sent more than enough evidence to prove my case which in the end is still only going to cost me money. I'm sorry but I've done math before and I'm pretty sure that's wrong. You will go and talk to someone about it and they say "you signed a contract". When I showed up in the showroom, the entire staff was in a "meeting" in the middle of the floor. They were yelling at each other with one employee calling the other an alcoholic while another called another employee a slut. I was looking at refrigerators, as mine had died, and the manager told me they would give me a really good deal on floor models (while talking to me over the yelling and crying happening in the meeting). I felt so uncomfortable that I left to find lunch and ended up returning after my meal. I returned after my meal out of necessity since my refrigerator had died the previous day and I couldn't go another day without one. I picked a floor model and no "deal" that the manager spoke of was honored. Once the fridge arrived at my place the following day, it never worked. Conn's sent a technician out and they couldn't fix it. I was then told a replacement would be delivered in 2 days. I took the day off work to receive the new fridge and nobody ever showed up. When I called Conn's, they informed me that my fridge was never ordered to be replaced. Needless to say, I returned the broken fridge and went to a reputable source to buy a working refrigerator. I will never step foot in this business again and will continue to encourage anybody that will listen to do the same. read more

After 1 ht the truck did not arrive I call the 800 telephone # and was told the product was not available but could be delivered the next day. Buyers beware: there ARE hidden charges. I am a young adult who bought an item here to begin working on my credit. I made it very clear that I just wanted to purchase my item with NO warranty or insurance plans. Low and behold, the salesman is quick to point out where to sign your name on the dotted line, but doesn't mention anything when he slips in a paper for an insurance plan which ended up costing me much more per month. If you want quality service and customer care, you won't find it here. UPDATE: While I appreciate a response, I was already fully equipped with my own renters insurance. If I could give less stars, I would. Our first sales associate, Madison was very helpful and knowledgeable. These sales associates work on sales commission, so when I went back to order my products, I asked for Madison. She wasn't working that afternoon and because I asked for another sales associate, I got ABSOLUTELY NO HELP. We ended up leaving and chose to buy elsewhere. After having difficulty finding the item we needed, we ended going back for only 1 of the items previously looked at. Madison was very helpful again and asked me to rush in to the store that evening so we could insure delivery on Thursday. Wednesday night, no call from Conns to tell me that there was trouble with the delivery and they were unable to deliver on Thursday. Time was taken off of work to be sure I would be home to accept the delivery. After making phone calls to follow up on the delivery this morning, I'm told there was a problem and they can't deliver until tomorrow. Now I'm being asked to take a 2nd day off from work with NO COMPENSATION for my time. If they would have called Wednesday night to tell me there was a problem, all of this could be avoided. Conn's does not care that they're inconveniencing their customers. I was told that because I already got a great deal, they will not compensate me for my time. We bought an LG washer from them and some how it broke a spring and completely damaged the washer....... not only that but we have now been without a washer for 3 weeks and are not expected to get it repaired for another week!! They sent out a 3rd party repair men to access the washer who ended up ordering 13 parts to replace... all that so he can get payed off of the labor for it!! THE WORST EVER! First of all the saleswoman lost my personal information in the store and I had to find it for her. She was ridiculous. The delivery truck was over an hour and half late and the installation we paid for was done incorrectly unbeknownst to us. It leaked all night and all the next day flooding my basement and the sub floor under the kitchen, as well as destroying some personal belongings. It's been 5 days and I still don't have use of my $600 dishwasher. They finally sent out another crew of "delivery drivers" to fix the problem, but these guys weren't licensed plumbers as I requested and they couldn't do the job correctly either. Secondly they let us order other items as well and did not deliver at that time either. when asked about this they stated(again in a very unprofessional and stand off way) that one of the items we ordered is actually not in stock even though it says so online and how it would be multiple weeks before we got any other items because of this. They also stated that they did not know if this item would ever be back in stock and we should probably just cancel our order and place another order with different items, HOWEVER in doing so she stated we would definitely not get approved for the same amount of credit as we did with this order because "We already placed an order and are going to cancel it." I asked to speak to a supervisor multiple times throughout this ordeal and was told either no or that no one was available to talk with me about this deplorable business practice and behavior. I would give them 0 stars if I could. This has been the worst experience ever. They are a bunch of con artists. I order several items and ended up buying two because I was being treated so poorly by the customer service department. The machines never worked and I spoke to many many people. They said they would exchange and then expected me to pay the interest on all the original items in order to do an exchange. If I choose to return they demanded a 15% restocking fee on machines that never worked. They would not service Elizabeth, Co so I could not get the machines fixed either. I tried to get a hold of the general manager for several weeks to get the restocking fee waved and no one ever called me back. I wasted more than 20 hours talking to many people and waiting on hold. The delivery men did not hook up the washer and dryer. They were suppose to hook them up and make sure they worked before they left. They claimed that they did not hook them up. I allowed them to put the boxes in our dumpster and they did not break down the boxes and put several other boxes in there without asking. I also tipped them $30.00. This was how it all started. Then my first invoice came and the units were $649.00 then second invoice they were $799.00 and they had the interest on the bill for the other items that I decided to cancel. I went rounds and rounds with managers and no one cared. I ended up having to pay a restocking fee to just get rid of the junk that they sold me and be done with these "cons". STAY AWAY!! They still haven't credited the credit insurance they charge on the couch I bought back in December. They told me to email them a copy of my homeowner's insurance and they'd credit the charge the next day. It's been six months, no credit. They'll call you right away though if their cashier hasn't applied your bill pay check yet on the day payment is due. When I say call you, I mean they call every 2 hours starting at 8am. I tell them I use bill-pay and the check is there. They thank me and explain that even-though they put a note in their system saying payment will clear today, I'll still receive calls for the remainder of the day. Also their system won't allow me to view my account. I've been in contact with them for the past 3 months trying to register, to view my balance and such (searching for the day they credit that insurance charge) and they still can't get me online. Not worth shopping here.. ever.. for anything.. Next time I'm going to just go there, have them write up this huge order, get things to the door for me, then cancel on these a-holes. read more

My first experience with Conn's was good, although we had some issues with the refrigerator, it was a smooth sale and I paid off the product as agreed on and paid no interest for my product. I returned 2 times to buy additional appliances. One of my purchases was set up for payments at $10.00 below what I needed to pay so I missed the deadline and was charged 650.00 in interest despite the fact that I went into the store the day my balance was due and asked about payoff, instead I was reminded I was paying for property insurance despite the fact that I had provided Conn's with my homeowner's insurance declarations page right after I purchased the product. I remember asking the salesman to ensure for me that my promotional balance would be paid for within the time as long as I made my payments on time every month, I still was short-changed and left to pay interest. The interesting thing about it all is that their computer printers were down and he couldn't even give me a proper copy of the document I signed, he had to email it to me so the first time I actually ended up looking at it was after being swindled by Conns. I've spent hours on the phone trying to remedy this and I get nowhere, so I will be looking into filing a complaint with the Colorado attorney general's office and seeing about a class action lawsuit, I know from reading reviews I'm not alone and being swindled by aggressive sales tactics and dishonest sales practices. My only hope is to leave as many reviews on as many sites as I can to inform the public not to purchase anything from this dishonest seller. read more

I could not turn the unit on because it was too cold and would have broken it. The next day when I turned it on, I realized it was NOT the same unit on the sales floor. They had replaced it with a cheaper model... So I called customer service and reported this issue. This was the worst furniture warehouse store I have ever been to in my entire life in the entire country. I just moved here and drove a moving truck around for nothing. I will take my business anywhere else. I don't think you could do any worse than Conn's. Maybe somebody with a brain should clean house. The people I dealt with would use a bathroom towel to mop the kitchen floor. They wrote up an order that they knew there wasn't time for us to make it to the distribution warehouse to pick up. Just like all the other folks......I will never shop here again. After moving to Denver from LA, I found it fairly easy to buy a new TV and Dishwasher from Conns. Decent prices, 1 year interest free...not too bad. Decided to actually buy a new computer from the Conns on County Line...and let me tell ya, thats the last penny they will see from me. Was on-line looking at options, and within 5 minutes of filling out an application...the sales guy called to reel me in. I sell stuff for a living, so I get....and I can navigate my way through that process with ease. Visited the store over the weekend, and picked up a new HP 34" All in One computer. The Sales Guy (Allen) told me he had driven to another store to pick up the computer for me since it was not in stock locally. Very nice, thanks for the extra effort. I spent the next two days on an Anniversary trip with my wife in the mountains. When I got home, I was excited to open the computer, and get it installed in my home office. Guess what? Screen was cracked all along the right hand side. It was factory sealed so I don't think it had ever been opened...but it was obviously damaged badly. Called Conns and they told me "You only have 24 hours to bring back something thats broken or defective...you're SOL" UMMMM hello? Allen sure as heck never told me that as he wrote up the sale. They finally agreed to sending the computer in to their 'repair center'....and its been THREE WEEKS with zero communication back. Not a phone call, not an email....no update from the management team or salesman. My first payment is due in about a week, and I don't even have the computer I'm supposed to be paying for *lol* THREE WEEKS, not one word...but yet they will literally call you 45 times if happen to fill out an application on-line to make a purchase. So my advice is this: Unless you absolutely HAVE to use Conn's (and some people do)....avoid them. While buying stuff is easy, they are hacks when it comes to customer service. I bought a washer and dryer and end table from store #149 - the Conn's at River Point near the Costco store. Had a great experience with Milosh - he extemely polite and helpful. When the washer and dryer were installed the water valve was broken by the installation company. Water shot everywhere - caused a big mess and they had to shut off the main water. They said it wasn't their fault and left. I had to pay a plumber to come out and fix the valve. A week later I returned to Conn's to return the end table - unopened still factory sealed. That's when I learned their policy of no returns on any furniture or home accessories. This was never mentioned when I was paying the week before. I asked the asst. mgr. Lesley to help me. All she did was call the main customer service number and hand me the phone. She couldn't have cared less about helping me. I said I wanted her to handle this - get approval to refund $$. She said she couldn't help and I needed to speak to the manager; Salvador who wasn't there. She said to call him on Monday. I called Monday, Tuesday and Wed. He was never there/available and never returned any of my messages. I decided to just give up. The end table was only $150 and I didn't want to waste any more time. However, on the survey i received a few days later asking about my experience, I gave them 1 star and told my story. I received a call within an hour from Phil Martinez the District Manager. He was amazing! I was pleasantly surprised to get the call and know that someone cared. Phil went out of his way to help me. He called the contractor who had delivered the appliances and when they refused to pay me for the cost to fix the valve Phil provided a refund for the amount I spent. He also arranged for me to return the end table. I had been so very disappointed with my Conn's experience until Phil Martinez stepped up and made everything right. I purchased a washer & dryer plus the extended warranty. In 3 years, we had to call for service on the dryer for the same issue each time! They sent out a third party technician. Each time they reset the dryer so that it would work for the time being. My warranty was running out so I needed to call for service again! This time, I told them to fix the dryer with whatever it takes because the warranty is running out. Again, he reset it. 1 1/2 months later, the dryer failed again!!! I called back again. They wanted to send a tech out at my cost of close to $100 to fix the issue. They couldn't fix it in the 3 years it was under warranty why would I pay for your inept service now! I argued my case that they never fixed the problem in 3 years! I talked with multiple people about this and got the same response that my warranty ran out...I feel that everyone reads from the same script! It felt like I was talking to a robot. Same answer from everyone! The warranty wasn't up for the first 3 years I had to keep calling for service. They could care less about their customers. I wish I would have read the horrible reviews before we bought. I have posted this to everyone we know and they are sharing it with whom they know. I hope its worth it for this company not to get any repeat business or new business from people who reads this on social media. They got my money, but never again! The selection here isn't great for how big it it, but the quality is top of the line which I liked. The drawback to that was they charge top of the line prices, Best Buy, Sears, and American Furniture Warehouse have the exact same items at better prices, but it would be nice to be able to get everything in one stop, but not for these prices. Another reason to stay away is how pushy the salesmen are. It's like a stereotypical 80's used car lot. read more
