After some online comparisons, we decided to check out BoxDrop in Castle Rock for a new box spring. It was our first time there but it was easy to find, had plenty of parking, and we received friendly greetings as we entered. An employee asked us a few questions and then showed us the box spring we wanted, which was priced 20-30% lower than comparable box springs at larger stores, so a great value. We chose the "white glove" service since I wanted the old box spring hauled away and the delivery guys did a great job - texted me when 10 minutes out, showed up on time, and carried the new box spring to our bedroom and placed it on the frame (with no damages on the way!). Wonderful experience last Saturday at BoxDrop! I booked an appointment online and was reminded via text, quite handy! The initial greeting was pleasant and the woman who helped us never invaded our time discussing things amongst each other either. She listened to what we were desiring, steered us in the direction on their showroom, then let us be. She would check in momentarily on us and eventually she and the Owner worked together to check us out. We chose to pick up the couch we purchased, same day and they had it all packaged nicely and ready upon our return with our truck and trailer an hour later. The deals at this place are so unreal that we might just need to add him to our Christmas card list. Seriously! I've been married for almost twenty years with four kids nearing college, so we need all the help we can get. We've shopped at American Furniture, Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace and Next Door, this is hands down the best retail furniture place on the planet! We went in during the crazy COVID crisis (praying it ends some day) with masks and essential family members only, and the deals blew us away. I knew furniture mark-ups were ridiculous, but I've never had a salesperson show me the actual numbers from the competition while I'm in the warehouse. It was refreshing and astonishing! I feel bad even calling Carl a "salesman." It's more like hanging out with a good friend to find the best deal on sofas and mattresses. We bought two kids' fulls for LESS THAN AMAZON's cheapest option. Best part is they had a huge variety at any price range. The prices are so good that they were completely sold out of ours, but we pick up in just a few days. They had tons available in store that day as well, but I can wait a day or two for these prices. Aw...my husband and I bought two couches from the old Castle Rock location in late 2020 during the pandemic and had a great experience! Loved the appointment option to keep traffic low and safe. But I just went in yesterday by myself to look at dining room sets and had a HORRIBLE experience. I showed up on time but sat for about 15 mins when finally Carl showed up. It wasn't busy, I was a return customer and he recognized me even with my mask on, we spent about 5 minutes looking at sets, then suddenly stopped in mid-sentence to check on a new couple who walked in and left me standing there. I waited....and waited...then left, and I don't think he even noticed. This is an observation of mine, as I sat there, I noticed there was a big difference between how folks who were buying dining room sets were treated compared to couch customers. The dining room folks (like me) were left standing around, while Carl and the other sales people were giving extra attention to the couch area. I also did my own research, the one he showed me on his pad was $1299 with BoxDrop but on Wayfair it was $799. Yikes! BoxDrop prides itself for being purely "word of mouth", and my household has bent over backwards to promote this location, but not anymore. read more

Just found the coolest place to pick up a new couch. Not sure if I was more impressed by the young man who owns the store or the insanely low prices. I purchased it $700 cheaper than the lowest price found anywhere in stores or online. My wife and I purchased a new home in Parker from California. Found BoxDrop on Facebook by accident while looking for used furniture on FB marketplace. Thought we would pay them a visit. Carl and his staff were very friendly and helpful. Including the delivery crew as well. We purchased two couches and two matching recliners for our living room. We also purchased two other recliners and a dining room set for 8. Didn't plan on it buying all this but we couldn't pass up their prices. Definitely way less expensive than the larger box stores. In addition, they have inventory on hand while the other stores have a 8-10 month wait. The quality of their products are equal or better than the large box stores. Carl at Box Drop sold me- or OVERSOLD me, by charging far too much on my card from his store while I am at home fully disabled for a 400.00 full size mattress and he charged 760.00. ALSO it was NOT the correct mattress. It is extremely thick when it is supposed to be 8-10in thick. It's 14 and I have low mobility issues. Plus I told him about my beloved 16 year old emotional Support animal, my cat who now cannot make the jump. My cat in this past month and a half of this nightmare Carl has put us through has caused him failure to thrive. I have now had to get BBB involved, Attorney General, and other entities. Carl laughs it off thinking I'm lying. And he says so. His own employee said the mattress was not what I paid for or the same as I previously bought in a different size. I would prove that in a court of law. Carl takes my posts down for his image vs doing the right thing. Giving me the mattress I paid for and not overcharging. I have dealt with his personality type before. They are very sneaky people. I won't stop speaking the truth. He is about to cause terrible harm so unnecessarily. Everyone should know this! If you are looking for a high quality mattress, this is the place! They are cheap, but only in the good for your wallet way. Carl's mattresses are the exact same or better than the ones you would find at the over priced, sale every weekend, "this is the best deal in town" mattress joints you see everywhere. The only thing is Carl will sell them to you at a tiny fraction of all the rest. My husband and I have been sleeping on a DOUBLE PILLOW TOP for the last couple weeks and it has been great. You're not free to wander the warehouse spaces alone, but they book several appts at the same time to make you feel like you're competing for a salesman's attn. Additionally, all the pieces of furniture say, 'Last One,' which forces people to compete for the items they're interested in, too. If you listen, however, they have inventory in other warehouses -- it's a choice to create a shopping 'frenzy' to boost sales. My mom and I were put off strongly by the pressure and we walked out.
