We also purchased two other recliners and a dining room set for 8. Didn't plan on it buying all this but we couldn't pass up their prices. Definitely way less expensive than the larger box stores. In addition, they have inventory on hand while the other stores have a 8-10 month wait. The quality of their products are equal or better than the large box stores. An employee asked us a few questions and then showed us the box spring we wanted, which was priced 20-30% lower than comparable box springs at larger stores, so a great value. We chose the "white glove" service since I wanted the old box spring hauled away and the delivery guys did a great job - texted me when 10 minutes out, showed up on time, and carried the new box spring to our bedroom and placed it on the frame (with no damages on the way!). Of course, because we had waited a week to come back they had sold all of the style we were interested in and we had to wait another week for the shipment which kind of sucked, but the manager made it worth our while. Never opened the box or unloaded it from my truck. Kept it less than six hours. Immediately took it back to appliance factory. Customer service rep said they didn't do refunds without corporate approval.Well, a day later the refund was approved, but I had to pay a $495.00 re-stocking fee. Everyone I spoke to used the same refrain, "I don't make the rules". I don,t blame the employees I blame corporate for making customers so uncomfortable doing something as basic as making a return. First, I was immediately greeted by a friendly Sleep Expert named Taylor S. Second, he listened to what I was looking for and immediately had a couple options he laid out for me. There was a wide selection from value products to luxury products. There were plenty of options that fit our budget and were reasonable in price. He spoke to the pros and cons of each product and was a wealth of knowledge. Taylor was also super helpful in answering my many questions and knew the ins and outs of the business. He was like a walk encyclopedia of the products. At no time during the visit did I feel pressure to buy anything which was really nice. Third, at one point during my visit I needed some time to figure things out so I called my spouse to discuss. While he waited for me, he kindly helped another customer who had came into the store. I overheard him working with that customer, and he was just was personable and knowledgeable. Fourth, because we were purchasing items to be delivered out of state, my transaction was a little more complicated. He was super patient in working through the details and explained the whole process to me. I can't say enough good things about Taylor and Mattress Firm.
