Will Never Go Back! I've learned my lesson, don't make the same mistake and trust that they are telling you everything. I feel like we were scammed. We bought a mattress for my mother's room in which they delivered and set it up. My mom is 100 lbs and slept on it for 6 months and it was already sagging and her back was hurting. I contacted CR Box Drop to let them know the issue. The owner Carl said to send a pic of the mattress, with a photo of the law tag for warranty. I looked and couldn't find a law tag anywhere, so they said sorry there's no warranty if there's no law tag. Carl said they don't remove the tags. Well, we didn't remove it either and I didn't even think to look for it when it was delivered, I thought I was buying a new mattress. Apparently we were buying a closeout item (no warranty), but they made no effort to ensure we knew this. They just told my mom and I that the manufacturer sent this one by mistake and he could give us a "good deal" on it, said it was new, never said there's no warranty or it was a closeout item. After a couple conversations with Carl on the phone, it turns out they were "told" by the manufacturer to remove the tag. So due to this, there was no warranty and I was buying a miscellaneous product, not a mattress with a warranty. Last time I checked, only consumers were allowed to remove law tags from their products after purchased, so essentially I was buying from a consumer not a business. Regardless, my conversations with the owner was like talking to a repeating car salesman who wouldn't let me get a word in. He made sure to let me know that my mom and I probably didn't remember the details since it had been a few months. There was no possible way his employees made a mistake because he trained them. He constantly repeated that it had been awhile so we probably didn't remember the details. So condescending! Also, Carl kept saying he would do whatever he could to help, that only meant give us another "great deal" on another mattress, NO THANKS! He explained they were a small business so there wasn't more he could do. Regardless, the receipt that I signed lists my mattress as a miscellaneous item, does not have any indication that it was a closeout item on the receipt. Carl said I signed the receipt, which I did, stating that I received the item in good condition. I still didn't understand how that meant I signed knowing the mattress I was buying didn't have a warranty. He then sent me a copy of the customer advisory on the receipt, it basically states all closeouts and floor models are marked down so low that there is NO warranty. Okay great, we were never told our mattress was a closeout, they just brought it out for my mom to try and sold it as such an "amazing deal". It was an amazing piece of crap that we will have to dispose. I don't get upset easily or write reviews so this one really upset me. We also purchased a $3,300 power reclining sectional, so thought they would have better customer service for a repeat customer. In that case, they also sold us a battery pack for the recliner that supposedly lets it recline up to 1,000 times. Ours lasts 10-15 reclines and then has to be charged, worthless. Great way to treat your military veterans. read more
