    "Leather" flaking off on multiple spots.

    Purchased a "leather" sofa/recliner that was delivered April 30, 2024. Eight months later, the "leather" is flaking off in multiple spots. A whole eight months for this "quality" piece of furniture. Reached out to customer service because it's still under warranty. The customer rep told me this is "painted leather." Had the sales person in the store been honest about that, we wouldn't have purchased it in the first place. Buyer beware. Looks like they are going to credit us for this purchase and allow us to get something else so I appreciate that. Will be more careful about what the material actually is on whatever we pick out.

    We bought a beautiful distressed wood dining room table a couple of months ago with seating for 8 we just love! Went back a few weeks later to buy the $375 centerpiece on the table when we bought it. This store has unique ornamental pieces like this you don't see anywhere else. We also bought a 7' x 10' living room rug which we had to return because of shedding. Obviously defective. Customer service took a few phone calls but helpful when you could get them. We actually exchanged the rug for another from Furniture Row and love it! We were very fortunate to find another we loved because we discovered they do not offer refunds - only store credit! So 1 star off for that.

    Still after receiving the wrong bed and a used floor model at full price we still haven't received the right bed. I also told the manager at the store we'll be charging your company storage fees for this wrong bed you gave us fully knowing it was a floor model and wrong bed! I hope your company knows you'll be owing us a lot of money for storage as it's been three weeks and we were told no more than two weeks that it'll be made right wow this is ridiculous!!

    We ordered a couch from furniture Row in late October and were told it would be delivered to our home in mid-February. It's now mid-April and I just called and they said it'll probably get delayed to early June. I totally get that things are delayed with Covid times, but we've never received a call to inform us that things are further delayed. We never would've ordered a couch if we knew it would take eight months. The person on the phone said that they come from China and that's why, and admitted they have no idea when it'll actually arrive. I would advise people to do their research and try to purchase from somewhere that doesn't ship from overseas. Update 4/21: After physically going into the store to ask them what's going on they told us that it just happened to come in that day. So if you're having issues may be best to talk to them in person. Arrived today in packaging.

    Do NOT buy the warranty on the furniture. They do not honor it at all. What a freaking joke. I will never buy from this company again.

Also weird, as I write this in early November. I didn't really need two adorable garden gnomes, but I wanted them. Alas, not on clearance, and neither was the large grey resin alligator. I probably would have bought it at $40, but definitely not at $80. Silly impulses can only go so far. $80 is too far for me. Hangers are well priced, will go back and get them another time. It's always the ugliest patio cushions that go on sale. Oh well. Some patio umbrellas are on clearance, others are not. Also weird. Maybe some patterns are temporary and others permanent stock.

We explained clearly that we were looking for a modern table with a clean, blemish-free surface. We ended up spending significantly more than we had planned because of Bassett's reputation and the apparent quality of the floor models. Unfortunately, when our table was delivered in February, we immediately noticed significant issues. The tabletop had numerous indentations across the surface, and the chair staining was streaky and inconsistent from chair to chair. The table looked noticeably different from what we expected based on the showroom experience. Bassett sent a technician to inspect the table. He told us the indentations were "worm holes" common in the type of maple used, and that "your table just ended up with a bunch of holes." He said there was nothing he could do and directed us back to the sales associate. When we contacted the salesperson, we were told, "I ALWAYS tell people about the worm holes, so you may have just been overwhelmed and missed it." We were never informed that the table would have visible surface holes -- especially given that we explicitly requested a smooth, blemish-free finish. Had this been disclosed, we would not have purchased this piece. After about a month of very light use and gentle cleaning with a soft cloth, the tabletop has developed numerous shallow scratches, further diminishing its appearance. For a purchase costing thousands of dollars, we expected durability and craftsmanship consistent with the brand's reputation. Instead, we are left with a table that looks worn and inexpensive, along with chairs that have uneven staining. Even more disappointing was the lack of accountability or meaningful resolution when we raised our concerns. Based on our experience, I would strongly caution anyone expecting high-quality, premium furniture and strong customer support to think carefully before purchasing.

Months later - nothing. I've called, emailed, and even gone into the Lone Tree store, where a staff member very helpfully sent an email about this to four people. I was informed that some guy named Omar was in charge. Omar never answers or returns calls. Someone named Emily is his superior and she does not answer or return calls. A friendly warning to consumers: This company does not honor its warranty.

So I looked online, and Floor & Decor had exactly what I wanted, on clearance! Woohoo! This is a GIGANTIC store. It seems to have literally EVERYTHING flooring that your heart could desire. I was enchanted by some of the tile. But I don't NEED any tile, so sadly passed it up. They have tile that looks like wood! And marble! I needed waterproof vinyl plank flooring to go over concrete, as apparently peel-and-stick requires a plywood base and is therefore more effort. The waterproof stuff is just click-and-lock, and can be cut with an X-acto knife. You can use 6-mil poly as a vapor barrier. This is for a small outbuilding, so 7 boxes should be sufficient. A very nice young man loaded the boxes onto a cart, and then put them into my car for me! Their prices seem very fair, although I just zeroed in on what I needed and didn't have time to fully explore the store. The tile selection seems vast. Best part: they're well-stocked, at least with what I bought. I'm fully confident that if I need another box, they'll have it in stock.

She said that as she sat in a chair to test, a worker came over and asked her to not sit on any furniture in the store. No signs were posted, and many other people were sitting and testing the furniture throughout the store. They were not told the same thing. The saleswoman then pointed to the robe she had in her hands and said if she wasn't planning on purchasing things, then she would kindly ask that she not touch things in the store. ​ I am trying really hard to give this person the benefit of a doubt that it wasn't the fact that my son and daughter are Hispanic, but I can't think of any other reason why she would have talked and treated her as such. Together we have been in this store multiple times, and have never been treated this way. Maybe a little employing training on consistency of protocol or equity would benefit the store. It's disappointing more than anything and rather frustrating that a store we have frequently shopped at is now unwelcoming and not a place we are comfortable shopping at anymore.
