    Great prices

I dread coming to places like this, but my husband wanted me to join him. It wasnt so bad. The service was great and we found what we were looking for. This is a well maintained store and the prices are great.

It started drizzling today, so I needed to quickly go buy a tarp, 5:45 AM this morning. I get there at 5:55 so glad that they open at 6 AM. The gentleman at the door would not let me in even one minute earlier. (so I Just stood underneath an umbrella outside as it was slightly raining) Very glad that they're open this early however, I didn't like dodging carts and stockers, and they would look at me - as if wanting to say - go the other way, but even the other path was blocked, by someone's stocking sodas, lightbulbs, you name it. In addition, The ladies at the register area, just seem to socialize with each other (mainly in my opinion, from encounters with them each time I shop here) their assistance once again, really wasn't helpful, (they told me my self-service register I placed my stuff at , wasn't working and they put my stuff at another register and then put it back at the register because suddenly it was suddenly working? and then I left my receipt in register, after my self purchase. BUT but they won't look and tell me, " Don't forget your receipt ." Seems like they are just there to socialize and make sure that we're ringing everything up. There was nobody else making purchases, and I quickly went back to pick up the purchase receipt. In conclusion, If I didn't need the item first thing this morning, I would have preferred to have shopped elsewhere, - unfortunately, the store is becoming like, small isles to get self service register open only, and too much for impulse buyers, and some employees pretending to be helpful sometimes. But There are those that are helpful and knowledgeable, (one just need to discover them / locate them.) So it's still getting three stars, and the value is good. I'm trying to think of some constructive feedback. But nothing else comes to mind. It's interesting that this review received post manager feedback, & they're under the impression that three stars is "exceptional service"?

Pretty much all Home Depot locations are the same. They offer a mass amount of everything home repair related. If you've ever been in one, you know exactly what to expect once you walk through the doors. This Home Depot location is no different. The one thing I will say about this Home Depot, at least when I've been inside, is that compared to other Home Depot's this place is a bit of a mess. Now, I'm not saying this as a criticism. Because the fact of the matter is, anything home repair related can get a little bit messy. But, the thing I notice about this location is that they have tons of their stock crowding the middle of their aisles. In all of the other Home Depot locations I go to, and I go to them fairly regularly, all of that kind of stuff is kept somewhere in the back and the customer never sees it. This is not the case at this location however. Meaning, you may see large blocks of stuff in the middle of the aisles. Other than that, this store offers all of the things Home Depot is known for. I won't go through the list because we all know what it is. But, if you need anything Home Depot related, this is your place to go on El Toro Rd.

I went in today around 245pm, after shopping , everything is fine, went to the cashier, this is the 2nd time this man helped me, I asked for a few bags because I bought potting mix, big perlite(had a small hole on top, 2 bone meal and a Calla Lily plant, he gave me 2 bags, I asked for one 2 more ( I planned 1 for calla Lily and 1 for covering the hole on the big perlite, He asked :"for what? why you need 2 more bags?", of course he had to give to me the 2 bags I asked for, I said I want to double my flower! I bought big potting mix and big perlite, he did not offer any plastic to place in my trunk for them and he ignored the hole on the perlite bag like he did not see anything, and mingy on a bag????? Last time he charged me one item twice, lucky that I saw before he totalled the transaction. On the 12 of April, I went in this location because I bought twice Steer Manure brand Black Koow, but this time I could find them, I asked one older person worked in the garden about the Black Koow, He pointed to me the regular white yellow bag that was not BK brand, I asked him again about the red bag from that brand, he raised his voice to me and said: " steer manure is steer manure, not things is different", then he went to a lady cashier bad mouth about me that I am stupid, steer manure is steer manure, why asking for too many times? THE ONLY REASON I WENT TO THIS LOCATION BECAUSE THE ONE IN IRVINE DOES NOT CARRY THE PRODUCTS THAT I NEEDED. GIVE GUESTS THE BAG AND NEVER BAD MOUTH CALL GUEST STUPID, HE IS OLDER BUT DOES NOT MEAN HE COULD LOOK DOWN ON ANY PEOPLE. If Steer manure are the same why you guys carried the brand Black Koow for??? It costs more $. Really bad services

Lately i went in with my granddaughter's scooter as it needed a new bolt. Josiah was assigned to help me with this small project. He was amazing. He knew which bolt it needed right off the bat. The outdoor items of the store had soil & amendments and plants for sale. The perlite was for $9.99, yikes! Home Depot sells it for about $5.97. Then I saw it, a beautiful succulent with lots of pups already but it didn't have a price tag. I had a feeling it wasn't going to bode well as this is one of those boutique type of shops at this plaza. It might as well be the Erewhon or Gelson's of home & gardens shops, unlike Home Depot. You know what I mean? Typically this would sell for about $4-7 but it's $9.99! But it's so pretty and it has many pups for me to distribute & repot. Toby at the cashier stand helped me out. He was knowledgeable & amiable. Additionally, he offered valuable info about the lady bugs & praying mantis that are sold to help our ecosystem. I didn't do much browsing, just purchased my succulent and went my merry way. It was a great experience but the prices here are definitely more for upscale shopping.

I learned some…read morebasics from my dad (son of a carpenter) who is good at fixing things and is a skilled amateur woodworker. I also like seeing their e-mail specials, coupons and freebies for making purchases. Recently I was contemplating whether "mechanics gloves" would work as full-finger weight training gloves in order to reduce the oils and sweat from my hands during workouts. A couple of years ago I put a lot of time, effort and expense into sanding and repainting my dumbbells with a nice forged pewter color. I would like to do more to preserve that. I tried the Harbor Freight HARDY brand "High-dexterity impact-resistant work gloves" that are a mechanics style with the rubber pads on top. I preferred the lower end thinner ones, but they were not very comfortable. I did notice the run a little small. I have very average-sized hands and normally wear a large (L), but those were tight with these, so I got the x-large (XL) with these Hardy's. The touchscreen compatible sort of kind of worked with the thumb and index finger but was not easy. Maybe the gloves need to be a snug fit? Maybe not? They do appear durable and are nice looking. I did an Internet search, and it appears you "may" be able to machine wash them. If I try that I will place them in firmer laundry zipper bag and wash them on GENTLE cycle in cold water. Then I would place them on a paper towel to air dry indoors. In the end, these were not a good fit for my needs as they were too bulky and thick. I will keep looking and maybe try another brand and smaller profile version of mechanics gloves. The staff here are always polite and efficient.
