I've recently purchased blinds here before and had no issue with the female employee that works aisle 32, the blinds section. She cut my blinds perfectly the first time. Today was a different story. Same female employee. I special ordered 4 blinds for my master bedroom windows. They were all White Cordless Enhanced Room Darkening Vinyl Blinds with 1 inch Slats. The reason I had to order them online and have them shipped to this Hemet Home Depot was because they didn't have them in stock. So, today I went and picked them up. All four blinds were in a sealed/taped box. I walked back to the blinds section to get them cut. The employee watched me open the sealed box and she got out two of the blinds. She asked what I wanted them cut to and I said 29 1/4 inches. She said ok, wrote it on the box, and started prepping the machine. She even looked at the box the blinds came in and verbally said "they're 30 1/2 inches long." She didn't read the fine print on the box where it actually says (Actual 29.5 in. W x 72 in. L). I stepped away to go to the restroom and when I came back she was coming back with another box of blinds. She said she made a mistake in cutting it an inch too short and that it was my fault for not telling her it was already custom cut. WHAT?! The audacity in her trying to blame me for her cutting mistake. I explained I never asked for them to get cut. I purchased them from their website, as is. She said she was going to make it right and cut the blinds she pulled off their shelf. I looked at that box and it was not the Enhanced Room Darkening Vinyl Blinds. She grabbed the Blackout Blinds. I explained I didn't want those blinds. She tried to convince me to take it in replacement, stating that they were more expensive anyway. I don't want 3 types of blinds in the bedroom and one blind being different. She showed me that my other 3 blinds were already cut to 29 3/8 inches. I specifically wanted 29 1/4 inches and asked if she was going to cut it. She said no, because it was too small of a cut. I've worked with these blinds before and with the lip on my window seal, I knew it was going to be a tight fit because of her refusal to cut them. She told me to take the one blind and get a refund. Obviously I'd have to waste more time reordering the 4th blind I need, waiting for it to get delivered, etc. Turns out that it's now OUT OF STOCK. Perfect! She ruined my blind and now there's none available right now. Not the best experience at this Home Depot today. read more

Marissa was so helpful with my online order. There was a problem and she went out of her way to find a solution.

We had saved 6 years to get French Doors in our home. We had always went to Home Depot to buy all our major appliance purchases, etc. We decided to try them to purchase two sets of French doors. Spent 7K on them. When they installed they made the doors opened backward, the Right should have been the opening door and they made them open left side. Which was odd. Now they didn't match the design layout for our home and we had to make modifications to our home design. It took 2 months to get door so when we were ready the day they installed we had taken all of our blinds down on both sliders that they were replacing. We did not want to wait for 2 more months to remake doors again with our home torn apart so we told them to install and we will go back to home depot to get a discount and we would deal with the doors. Mind you this saved Home depot as if they would have taken them back they would have lost the cost of incorrect both doors each done 50% wrong and would have had to bring new doors and hope someone may buy the wrong doors to re-coop there costs which would have been thousands. So we called home depot while they were installing them and told them we were not happy. Few days later received a call from Home depot and they offered 100.00 discount on 7K purchase 1.4% on two sets of doors that were done 50% wrong each. Then I received a call from another Manager bottom line offered 300.00 4.3% discount - come on, so you may two sets of doors wrong for 7K and your compensation to the customer that keep the incorrect doors and saved you thousands of money is 300.00. I guess I have been shopping at the wrong place all these years. My business is operated by the standard: Employees are going to make mistakes as we are all human. A great company is measured by how they rectify those mistakes with there customer. I would have expected a more reasonable discount on errors of 50% on doors to provide a discount of 30-40% not 4%...This is a slap in the face. Guess will seek Attorney General advise. read more

The service is approachable, friendly, and helpful here. It is like any other Home Depot though this one seems smaller (could be just me), but the selection is fine. Some prices are good here, but I always check online to see if I can get it anywhere else for significantly less. read more

They have workers, but nobody was able to help us out. It seems like nobody knows what they're doing.

This was a poor experience for me. I live out of state and own a small rental in Hemet. We went through Home Depot thinking it was a reliable source for flooring, paint, wiring, etc. We paid for a company contracted with HD for a service that kept getting pushed back. They were not calling or emailing to keep me apprised of the status. When I called the store, the ridiculous circular voice mail greeting and directions made it nearly impossible to reach a human being at all, let alone connect with the correct department. Their voice mail hell is ultimately why I asked for a refund. A bid from a small local shop was a much better value, and no voice mail at all; they answer personally!!! No trouble getting through like HD! read more

I usually visit this Home Depot a lot for my business and end up spending thousands of dollars here. Today, I sent one of my guys to get some wood, and they made him wait for at least an hour. I had to show up myself and ask for the manager. When I spoke to an older gentleman, who I was told is the one driving the forklift, he said he didn't know where the manager was and that nobody had informed him about my order. On top of that, he didn't even have a spotter to help. Honestly, this review is for that old man who doesn't seem to appreciate having a job. If you're in a rush, don't ever come here or ask that guy for help. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. I have never been so insulted in my life. Just because I didn't completely understand the differences in what I needed to hook up a window air conditioner. How was I supposed to know that I needed extra foam sealer or why I would need it? That person Manny didn't have to yell at me like a maniac because I asked him to explain why I needed something that was supposedly in the box. He also didn't have to call me names. Yes I am a big girl but that's no reason for insults even if he was having a bad day. There used to be another guy there that used to help me get my mulch and flowers really nice but I haven't seen him since sometime in March maybe he's sick. Anyhow I hope he comes back but I left home depot today without my air conditioner and went to Lowes instead they were nice to me and it was easier. Usually the people at Home Depot are nice I don't know what happened today. read more

I wish I could link this review to my last review of Lowe's in Hemet. I avoided Home Depot for years for both personal & political reasons. However after my last horrific experience with Lowe's , I had to swallow my principles & my pride. It is sad how few options we have anymore. That aside, the experience with Home Depot in this situation could not have been better. My item was in stock, & the woman who sold it to me was professional & pleasant. I regret not remembering her name. She looked African- American, but her last name was Hispanic. Home Depot offered to install & deliver in the following two days. When I explained that I needed a weekend delivery due to my job, they set me up on the NEXT Saturday. They called when they said they would. They showed up to install when they said they would. The installers were quick & clean, & they made sure that the unit worked before they left. They waited to make sure I was satisfied before leaving. This is in stark contrast to my experience with the local Lowe's. J cut up my Lowe's card & opened an account with Home Depot. I hope our future interactions are as pleasant. read more

This is the second time I have went out of my way drove multiple hours to meet their people to deliver my washer and dryer and fridge on both occasions they pull up do not call do not knock sit outside and wait and then they call their office and tell them that we never answer the door and leave. But they can't use the phone to call me to let me know that they're here.. they refused to return to deliver my items they keep pushing it back days after days after days after days, they have the worst customer service I have ever dealt with any company in history. Doing some updates at home and had to go pick up some various large and heavy items. On 3 separate occasions I asked for assistance and the guys said I will find you someone and walked away never to he found. Too difficult to order some items. The management on my town it's not too helpful. Used to be my favorite store. Not anymore. Ordered a mirrored closet door after Covid and have to return it twice. Ended hiring a private handyman for installation because the company the store recommended was terrible. I would not trust Home Depot and especially this store to order appliances. If you must order from them, I recommend protecting yourself by using a reputable credit card company like Discover. The Hemet store refused to reverse the charges for a refrigerator order I cancelled. The manager, Luis, lied to my face and said they had no record of my cancelation. He did not realize the front desk had already provided me a copy of the order cancellation. Fortunately, Discover card gave me a courtesy adjustment (based on this documentation) in the amount of my purchase price. I must stipulate it was not a refund since Home Depot never reversed the charges. read more

This review is solely dedicated to the assistant manager whose name is Luis. I had a big problem with my delivery from the pro desk. I ordered $4000 worth of Trex decking. I got very spotty information or none at all as to when it would be delivered. When I finally got a hold of Luis my nerves were calmed and everything went smoothly. The window I was originally given was 6 AM to 8 PM so I was expected to be on a 14 hour watch for my delivery. I got no information as to when they were coming, so when I called and got a hold of Luis, he gave me constant updates as to what was going on. Finally, he had to break the bad news and tell me that after 14 hours of waiting for my delivery, it was not going to come that day. He personally assured me that it would be delivered the next day and I would be given a narrow time window. The next day, Luis stayed on the job until my delivery arrived just the way he said it would with a narrow time window. In these post Covid times there are lots of problems with service and availability of material for sure. Patience could be tested all over the place as well. It's only an old-school, old-fashioned guy like Mr. Luis that made all of this palatable for me. I hope the company realizes how important this guy is and how much he really gives a damn and I mean really really really gives a damn about customers as human beings. I have never encountered in all my time on the planet a guy who cares as much about the people he's serving as Luis. Thank you Luis you saved a one star review for Home Depot and turned it into a five. I've been a customer for over 35 years so I would much rather give a five star review and that's solely due to you!! read more

I would like to know why the Manager at the Home Depot on West Florida in Hemet, CA (who has been told many, many times) to not let people hang out in their parking lot soliciting to work. I mean not work in the store. These people are wanting to wash your windshield, ask if you have any work for them to do during the day so they can get paid. Why does this so-called manager let this happen? It is so annoying. You go to Home Depot to purchase your materials and you are constantly bomb barded by these people who could certainly get a REAL job if they wanted. Clearly they don't want to work an 8-hour shift every day. I am now going to write the CEO of Home Depot and complain because nothing has been done at all to correct this problem. We have enough of homeless people walking the streets and no one does anything about it. We need to make it known that this is not acceptable in the business parking lot of Home Depot. Private property or not. Get rid of these scumbags and let us real people go about our shopping in peace. read more

I entered the store and noticed it was rather crowded but went ahead and gathered all the items that I wanted and went to the front to the registers--I had about 80 to 100 dollars worth of merchandise in my cart--as I got near the front of the store near the registers I noticed a line across the front of the store in front of the registers. I followed the line down the way and counted the number of people in line--there were 34 people in line--the line ran from the end of the store near the-lumber area-to the other end of the store at the outdoor area, I looked and there were two registers open and all the store was in that line for service---I asked an other customer if he knew what was going on and he just shook his head and sighed--I left my cart where it was and exited the store---they not only lost my sale but then had to pay an employ to restack the items in the cart ---poor service reflex's on the management and I am sure this was part of the problem read more

I came in looking to purchase a new refrigerator and Marina helped us. She was extremely helpful and insightful with what I was looking for. Both ladies Marina and Lucille in this dept are very knowledgeable with good customer service skills. I wish that the other employees in this store knew their products as well. For instance, I was looking for a small rake and was told by a gardening employee that they were inside. After walking around about 10 minutes looking we went back outside and it was less than 10 feet from where she was. The gentleman in plumbing was also quite knowledgeable. The customer service section of this store has polite and friendly employees. I look forward to doing business with you in the future. read more
