Paul's trusted foreman Ramon and his crew worked extremely hard, they did not cut any corners and took pride in their work. After three days my backyard was totally transformed. I am extremely grateful I met Paul and his team. I highly recommend you hire Paul for any landscaping need. In case you are wondering Paul removed my old grass and weeds, installed St Augustine sod, cleanup my slope and plann, trimmed my trees and removed some palms that were damaging my brick wall. Installing sod is a process labor task when done right. You have to kill all the old grass and weeds and then remove it all until all you have dirt. Once that is done you work on the irrigation system to ensure you have water spread out evenly all throughout the ground with proper drainage. Finally, you add fertilizer to the soil and then lay down the sod which is best installed the same day it was cut. Check out my before and after pictures.

Adam was amazing at coordinating all the many jobs to be done. We are so pleased with the work, Mario did such a thorough job, he works hard and with precision. The concrete driveway and curbing came out so beautifully. We love our new DG pathway with the mower's edge curbing. They filled our horseshoe driveway with 3/4 crush rock and we've gotten so many compliments from our neighbors. They installed an automatic irrigation system, which makes life much easier not to have to worry about turning water off and on. We opted for single trunk Crepe Myrtle trees in every color available. They all look great and have acclimated well to their new home, even in this heat. The work was completed in three weeks. Fast, clean, reliable workmanship and just a fine young man in charge of multitasking and handling it all. There were a couple of minor issues that we easily worked through. She acknowledged me and was polite to point me in the direction of the sage plants I was looking for. She mentioned her prices are better than the popular home improvement stores. She runs her family business and has done so for many years, she is always willing and able to provide advice and expertise when it comes to your landscape and garden designs. I walked around and enjoyed strolling through the myriad rows of plants. I always enjoy looking at them and imagining my own secret garden . . . anyway, before I continue to daydream while writing this review, I want to mention I did find some great selections and definitely plan to return to purchase others as I continue on my gardening/landscape project. When I I arrived at MEM Nursery first thing when exiting my car was a friendly looking gentleman by the name of "Miquel" he introduced himself and immediately started asking questions what I was thinking about for my yard and educating me what I needed as opposed to what I wanted because of the area that I live in. From there on, it was a match made in a big Ole Green House... lol! The service was great! He happened to be the owner, and MEM Nusery did the whole installation at my home. Unfortunately, the experience at checkout completely changed my impression. The cashier was not friendly and seemed impatient, which made the process uncomfortable and disappointing. The nursery does offer fair pricing and a wide selection of plants, which I appreciated. However, customer service--especially at checkout--is just as important. Because of this experience, I will likely choose to shop somewhere else next time.

Finally the day is the appointment arrives. Supposed to come from 10-12. It's now 7:33pm and they have not arrived. At noon I was told it would be 1pm probably. At 1:30 I was told 5pm. At 5:35 I was told they were finishing up the job so no need to worry it would be soon. No more ETA. In fact the daytime dispatcher has gone home. They were able to upsell a new water heater to the previous folks so they prioritized that over my appointment or giving reasonable timeframe. Then I was blamed for thinking I had an appointment. They don't make appointments. Just estimated times of arrival. The text even had the date wrong. 3/1 instead of 1/1. Had to call to confirm that too. Then blamed because I had the gall to want my install done the same day I made the appointment for. "You're the one who wants it installed today." The day I have an appointment when I've waited for 10 hours? What a waste of a day.
