In my experience, the treatment felt extremely judgmental and discriminatory. I felt like I was treated differently because of the color of my skin and because I apparently didn't look like someone they expected to spend money there. Instead of being offered help, I felt watched and treated like I was automatically suspected of stealing. That is completely unacceptable. The employees' attitude was disrespectful, unprofessional, and downright insulting. What makes it even worse is the management or lack of it. Management should be stepping in, holding employees accountable, and making sure customers are treated with dignity. Instead, the entire experience felt like nobody cared. No customer should have to walk into a store and feel unwelcome, judged, or treated like a criminal simply because of their appearance. If this is how they choose to treat people, they shouldn't be surprised when customers take their business somewhere else. I would strongly recommend thinking twice before spending your money here. There are plenty of other businesses that understand the simple concept of treating customers with basic courtesy and respect.

Was able to check out and leave solo. Also the following day for an online order and pick up for a gasket. That took a bit more time as the online ordering process is not picked from the shelf for at least two hours so I arrived early and they had to rundown the process find out where it was at etcetera The supervisor was the one that went and picked it off the shelf for me and brought it back which worked out fine The biggest drawback here and the reason I'm giving it such low stars compared to what it used to be in the past is the flock cameras that are in the parking lot there are two different sets of them. Because nobody is forcing this company to put those cameras in their parking lot and they are not controlling who has access to these cameras or what they can do with that access It's an invasion of privacy and I can no longer trust going to this business without wearing a mask and parking away from the business and walking through the parking lot in order that the cameras do not look at my license plate or my car as I do not trust the entities that run flock or the artificial intelligence agencies that also tap into the camera database. Long story short get it together lo's you're not a supporter of the racist pedo in office so stop playing a long.

Today was a different story. Same female employee. I special ordered 4 blinds for my master bedroom windows. They were all White Cordless Enhanced Room Darkening Vinyl Blinds with 1 inch Slats. The reason I had to order them online and have them shipped to this Hemet Home Depot was because they didn't have them in stock. So, today I went and picked them up. All four blinds were in a sealed/taped box. I walked back to the blinds section to get them cut. The employee watched me open the sealed box and she got out two of the blinds. She asked what I wanted them cut to and I said 29 1/4 inches. She said ok, wrote it on the box, and started prepping the machine. She even looked at the box the blinds came in and verbally said "they're 30 1/2 inches long." She didn't read the fine print on the box where it actually says (Actual 29.5 in. W x 72 in. L). I stepped away to go to the restroom and when I came back she was coming back with another box of blinds. She said she made a mistake in cutting it an inch too short and that it was my fault for not telling her it was already custom cut. WHAT?! The audacity in her trying to blame me for her cutting mistake. I explained I never asked for them to get cut. I purchased them from their website, as is. She said she was going to make it right and cut the blinds she pulled off their shelf. I looked at that box and it was not the Enhanced Room Darkening Vinyl Blinds. She grabbed the Blackout Blinds. I explained I didn't want those blinds. She tried to convince me to take it in replacement, stating that they were more expensive anyway. I don't want 3 types of blinds in the bedroom and one blind being different. She showed me that my other 3 blinds were already cut to 29 3/8 inches. I specifically wanted 29 1/4 inches and asked if she was going to cut it. She said no, because it was too small of a cut. I've worked with these blinds before and with the lip on my window seal, I knew it was going to be a tight fit because of her refusal to cut them. She told me to take the one blind and get a refund. Obviously I'd have to waste more time reordering the 4th blind I need, waiting for it to get delivered, etc. Turns out that it's now OUT OF STOCK. Perfect! She ruined my blind and now there's none available right now. Not the best experience at this Home Depot today.
