I was very specific with the type of rock as well as size, so I knew I was left with a very daunting task. Instead, we were faced with endless options, they literally have EVERYTHING here. WOW! My wife and I were looking at various nurseries and material suppliers for several boulders and rock ground-cover that we were planning to lay in our yard. We originally went to So Cal Mulch (in Menifee) and when they heard that we needed certain type of boulders, they referred us to APA. We got there and met four very nice people. Sonia, Mark, Brandon, and Brian. They are a family owned business and their customer service was IMPECCABLE. Mark, was very patient with us as we look at MANY boulders. Mark would go out of his way to show them, move them, and recommend some. It took us a while to finally pick the six boulders that we wanted and Mark's attitude was the same as we started, patient and upbeat. He tagged our boulders and he directed us to Sonia. Sonia wrote us up and was very pleasant and accommodating. Besides the boulders, we brought some rock ground-cover from our home to match their rocks. Turned out that our rock was no longer available, but she was able to show us an Apache Brown style that matched it to the tee. She wrote us up for the boulders and rock ground-cover and the prices were very reasonable and better than a few of the material locations that we went to. What I really appreciated from all of the workers at APA, wasn't just their friendliness, but how important they made us feel, even though we were a small transaction. During the visit they had a few large orders and a two semi trucks there, but they treated us the same and we appreciate that. A few days later, they delivered our boulders and rocks and then we met Brandon. The customer service continued. He unloaded the merchandise and stayed to help us, by moving a few of the boulders to certain areas, even though the contract stated that they only drop off. He was wonderful and very patient with us. As long as APA is in business, they have a customer for life. I recommend them to anyone that requires materials for their landscaping. read more

I was looking for gravel yards for a backyard landscaping project. We are starting with the dog run with pea gravel. The first company I was working with had the cheapest prices however they seemed quick to want to get me off the phone as if they were to busy to talk with me. I needed the gravel delivered in a couple of days and I did not have time to go to the yard and look at the gravel and pay and order there which is what they wanted me to do. So to be able to pay and order over the phone I had to all a different number. The person that answered seemed to busy for me and wanted me to text to that number my name, address and what I needed and he would call me right back to take payment for the order. I never heard back. When I read the reviews for that company someone had recommended going to Apa Stone Supply and that they had excellent customer service. My husband and I have both been in the customer service industry for years and this is very important to us. I spoke with Brandon. He was absolutely amazing. He took the time to get my information and what I needed and what I was using it for. He even went out and took a picture and sent it to me as it can very from what you see on their website. Their prices were slightly higher but was well worth it. Alex was who delivered the gravel. He called 30 min before he arrived to let me know he was on his way. My delivery time was between 10-11 am and Alex showed up at 10:05 am. He was great. We have a weird angle to access the backyard that crosses over grass and sprinklers so we thought we would have to have the pea gravel placed in the driveway. Alex took the time to find the sprinklers and mark them so he could avoid them and was able to place the gravel in the back yard. I'm very happy with this company. Their customer service was the best. I will be using them for my decorative gravel order once I'm ready. read more
