Monday July 27/2026 Glendora location. 10:15 AM Bear/ Employees at the Paint department ( counter ) PUSHY HARD SELL.! Exterior paint ( Trim rough sawn ) Existing Dark brown stain Going to: Bear True Navy. Going to Lowe's to purchase 5 gallons of paint. High Nap paint rollers. The sells rep for Bear was extremely pushy, upselling products we do not need. We wanted the high-end exterior paint for the trim and eves of the house. The trim and eves is a Dark brown stain , we wanted to put a Navy blue paint on clean dark brown wood. The Bear sells men kept pushing primer! My husband has two shoulders that were reconstructed during surgery so working overhead is difficult, so he wanted a paint that had a primer in it, which it does, but the guy insisted and kept pushing for a primer by itself, and then the paint with a primer in it. Dark eaves and trim with new paint colors navy blue, which is dark. I understand if you have black evaes and you're going to put a white trim on them then you need a primer.. You lost a huge sale due to your Bear salesman.! Sad!! Going to take my business to Lowe's. read more

I am writing this review on behalf of my mother who was very stressed out after hiring Home Depot of Glendora to do their shower renovation. She decided to trust Home Depot because they are a big company that would back up any potential mishaps done in the home renovation work. Unfortunately, the opposite was the case. Home Depot hired a subcontractor to do the work, American Home Remodeling out of Corona, CA. Initially they quoted her over $14k to complete this project. The sales person came to her house and quoted that internal plumbing work would be included in the initial price quote. Once they broke through walls they told her another $4,200 would be necessary to add new plumbing since her house is dated. My mother was frustrated with the lack of clarity of the additional $4,200 charge so she expressed her concerns with the company that Home Depot subcontracted to for the repairs. At that point American Home Remodeling decided to smooth things out with my father who had nothing to do with the project. They emailed a new contract for my father to review and e sign even though he was not managing the project. My mother was feeling helpless since the contractors disregarded her when she was the one who hired them. Instead they got my father on the phone and encouraged him to agree to the additional $4,200 cost and work to be done. My father is a 78 year old man who was not aware of the project's scope from the beginning and he was taken advantage of. As their daughter I am disappointed with how this was all handled. My mother never received a detailed itemized project proposal with the costs associated prior to the work being started. When she called the initial sales person back, they ignored her calls and called my father back instead to complete the additional work. My mother feels like she got cheated as they circumvented her on her own project. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE, WORRIED ABOUT THE TASK INSTEAD OF THE CUSTOMER. I would like to add to this review. I'm not sure why I continue to shop here instead of nearby Lowe's but again came into the store and needed some help in Hardware Dept. I asked the nearby register teller who called for help over the PA system. I waited 15 minutes and another 10 minutes and while waiting I seen 3 associates in the next aisle over just having a good old time, laughing. I got upset and tired standing and finally left the store. This happens time after time. I'm making it a habit of going to Covina Home Depot instead of Glendora going forward. I attempted to call the manager "Joe" but apparently he was off and no other manager was available. JUST POOR, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Please review ratings and see that nothing changes, they need better qualified management to be there and watch how sad the employees are. Today i waited 45 minutes and then i called and they said person will be right there 10 minutes later i left. This has happened many times. Lowes is so much better if you need curbside. This a review just for the Home Depot garden center, so no confusion it's a floral wonderland, but just for plants, not hammers and drills! I popped in to pick up some flowers, and I'm pretty happy with what I got although, let's be real, sometimes Trader Joe's flowers whisper sweet nothings to me better quality, and a bit cheaper. But I digress! The variety at Home Depot, though: wowza. It's like a botanical party up in there so many flowers, so many plants, I felt like a kid in a garden candy store. And the discounts! I swear, the picture showed four of these cute ground cover flowers for just $10 like, a floral heist! They've got a big pot section, too like a playground for your plants. You can browse pots like you're picking out designer hats for your daisies. And, if you're feeling brave, they have seeds flower seeds, veggie seeds... though, I've tried those before and let's just say, I'm more of a "buy already grown" type of gardener. Turns out, seeds and I have a complicated relationship. That said, I stuck to flowers no veggie drama and I scored these gorgeous blooms for $12.98. I mean, my living room is basically a botanical runway now, and I'm grinning like a sunflower in July. So, I give this garden center a solid 4 out of 5 like, a great show, but there's always that little whisper of Trader Joe's or Costco calling my name. I wanted to share a safety concern regarding the main entrance area of this Home Depot location. The pedestrian crossing in front of the store feels very unsafe, especially for families with children. Cars regularly speed through the area without stopping, and the "STOP" painted on the ground has faded so badly that many drivers do not even notice it anymore. I recently witnessed a very scary situation where a child and their parents were nearly hit because a driver failed to stop. This could easily turn into a serious accident if improvements are not made soon. I did try bringing this concern up to an employee, but unfortunately I felt brushed off and dismissed. I'm hoping management takes this feedback seriously because this is truly about customer safety, not just convenience. Refreshing the painted markings and adding visible stop signs near the pedestrian crossing would make a huge difference and help protect customers walking in and out of the store. read more

Came for another item, and found a whole rack of clearance-priced tomato plants (cherry tomato/sweet 150), big ones for $2, small ones $0.99, clearly marked in the Garden Center. It rang up as $5.98. I asked for the listed price, and was told I must be mistaken and there was nothing to do and no one available to check (even though I described the location, signage, etc). Was then told I must have gotten an errant plant placed in the wrong spot- it was a whole rack of the same thing!! Was told "we don't own the plants so I can't do anything". Today's visit to Home Depot was nothing short of frustrating. I went in looking to purchase a power drill, and while I understand that expensive tools are locked up for security reasons, the process of actually finding an employee to assist was impossible. I wandered the aisles for what felt like forever, only to see employees either busy with other customers or seemingly avoiding eye contact altogether. When I finally managed to flag someone down, they told me to wait for another associate who never showed up. After wasting my time and patience, I left the store without making a purchase. The lack of customer service was unacceptable--if you're going to lock up products, at least have enough staff on hand to help customers. Extremely disappointing experience. read more

Ordered a pickup order from this store today. Let me start with I usually buy from Moreno Valley, because most of my work is out there. Today, I had a job in San Dimas, so I placed an order on the website, to pick up this morning. When I got there I saw that the order had not been pulled, so instead of telling me, someone would get on it, two of the customer service people told me that they are allowed 24 hours to pull orders. I asked to speak to a manager and he was nice enough to get someone on the order and I waited about 30 minutes for it to come out. Why, I am upset is because after calling corporate and talking to a customer service rep, I found out that there is no such policy. Two employees just lied to me. This is part one of my dryer journey. We are in the middle of it right now and so far in this journey home depot is below one star. 7/7/23 bought a dryer and requested to haul the old dryer, deliver the new dryer, and new hookups. 7/14/23 delivery service installed the dryer incorrectly, new hookups were not added to our order, the dryer is not drying our clothes, and there's a gas leak. 7/16/23 called the store and spoke to a manager and an appliance specialist who scheduled an exchange for 7/20/23. 7/20/23 The driver said he was coming to fix the machine not exchange it. Back to the drawing board! 7/22/23 walked into the store with our receipt to DEMAND a return. No patience for an exchange at this point. the manager on duty said she would need to call the manufacturer on Monday and she will arrive at work by 11 am. 7/24/23 Monday we called the manager and asked for the date of the return. The manager had not done anything, she asked if we could call on Tuesday. 7/25/23 Called today and the manager didn't go to work today. I called home depot corporate and got a date for pick up / return on 7/28/23 Overall the staff is pleasant but useless. The logistics driver and delivery are unequipped and apparently need more training. I miss SEARS/Kenmore :-(. read more

This review is limited to (1) installation of blinds and (2) installation of doors. Buying blinds and having Home Depot install them worked out great. I'd talked to FIVE other blind installers. Boy, was that a miserable experience. One wanted a fortune; one that was affordable turned out not to be a licensed contractor. I turned to Home Depot out of frustration. I thought Home Depot was going to be more expensive, but it was actually the cheapest quote out of all six. They had exactly what I wanted. An installer came to measure; I ordered the blinds; the blinds arrived in a couple of weeks; I called the installers; and they slapped them up. Easy-peasy. The blinds are great quality, and the installation was perfect. Buying doors and having Home Depot install them was also a great experience. This time, their price was pretty much the same as others', but they had exactly the doors I wanted, and I couldn't find anything like them elsewhere. Ordering and installation were a breeze. The installer really impressed me with his knowledge, care, and professionalism. Unlike the blinds process, I have one complaint about the door process: It was v-e-r-y slow. I ordered on April 26; the doors came on July 13. And that's after Home Depot made me pay 100% up front! I'm not sure, but I think it's a violation for a contractor to require more than 10% up front??? Anyway, it was worth it. read more

This review is for my last visit. Placed an order online and when I got home I realized they gave me the wrong product. Ultimately it wasn't a big deal but part of the overall impression of the store. Later that week I went in to buy a cord for a garbage disposal and that didn't go well either. I know what you're thinking...a cord for a garbage disposal?? Its true, some disposals don't come with a cord attached. You have to buy it separately. Any way, I walked in and asked an employee that was walking buy, and was told all garbage disposals are on the end cap. Cool, I went there and the cord was no where to be seen. This review is for the kids workshop at 9am on the first Saturday of every month. The free workshops are very fun, and they teach multiple skills at once. Spots full up very quickly since they are so popular! I signed up in July to reserve a spot for August. I recommend coming early to make sure to get your supplies since they may run out after a certain time. They designate a section near the entrance for kids and their parents to work on the craft. With each activity kit, there is a pin along with a certificate of participation. They also give kid sized Home Depot aprons while they do the work. Our kids felt very accomplished after completing their craft and we had a great family bonding time. Depending on the age of your child, the workshop can take up to an hour to complete. The directions are in English and Spanish, and the step by step pictures are easy to follow. If you cannot make it to the workshop, they do sell the kits inside the store so you can do them at home too. Highly recommend all families with young children to do this at least once! read more

I normally swing by this Home Depot (HD) in Glendora to pick up something for my Mom from time to time... mainly ant spray, weed remover, garden hose, etc. When I have extra time, I'll walk through their garden section to look at the beautiful flowers. I have to say, I prefer HD over Lowes. I feel HD has more of a variety of household items than Lowes IMHO. I think HD prices are a little bit cheaper. Staff is usually helpful if you can find one. Sometimes they just aren't around LOL. Aisles are normally clean and organized. Self-checkout is simple and easy. I actually enjoy walking through HD, it makes me want to be a handywoman even though I'm not one, but I guess I can try to be one when the occasion calls for it LOL. HD is the place to go to pick up home improvement items. They sell other stuff, too. read more

I shop at Home Depot 5 to 6 days a week sometimes more than once in a day. I have never had issues with employees but today I was in a particular aisle and I asked an associate if he worked in that aisle and he just looked at me and replied no and walked away. Now in the past I have had asked the same question to associates in various departments and if they did not work in that particular department they would find somebody for me that could answer my question. I'm comfortable with saying this to you, the consumer. DO NOT BUY AN APPLIANCE FROM HOME DEPOT Glendora store. We went there on Jan 7th 2025. We browsed around for a refrigerator and after much back and forth we were interested in an LG French door model. We got the attention of an associate by the name of Karen. She was very informative, upbeat and friendly. We decided that we wanted the unit and asked her about dates that were posted on each fridge. Essentially they showed what date it would be delivered if we bought it that day. Jan 9 was listed on the model we chose. We sat with her providing all our details for the purchase. We included in the transaction an upgraded water line and an extended warranty along with delivery charge. All totaling nearly 2230.00. then she said that there would be a problem with that date because it was late in the evening already. Near closing time. She claimed it would be delivered on Friday the 10th. I thought sure, great we need the time prepare the space and get rid of the other fridge. Karen told us to watch for a text that would give us a window for the delivery time. On Jan 9 in the morning I confirmed the delivery for the 10th thru the text sent to me. That same afternoon I got another text that said the delivery had been rescheduled to the 17th. Next Friday. Immediately I responded to that text asking for someone to call me. The text said it couldn't respond to my request but to please text HELP. I texted HELP back and then they started repeating the same frustrating messages over and over. So I called the store and got Karen. I thought how lucky was I to get the same associate but in less than two days later she could barely remember me. All she said was there was a delay with the shipping company and the manufacturer. Home Depot sells appliances on a three person process. They sell you an item. You pay. They send the order to LG. When the item is available they have a third party shipper pick up the item and then they deliver it to the customer. Karen sounded more annoyed with my call than the friendly lively person who sold me the fridge. I could tell she wanted nothing to do with me and without even apologizing just said it was the shipper and the manufacturer. Not them. I asked can she make sure I get it this time. "I can't guarantee it" she said. I thought. This is the store I bought it from and they aren't taking any responsibility. I left it like that. But I noted her rude responses and after a week I got an email on the 16th giving the time frame for the second delivery. 9a-1p. My girlfriend had to take a second day off in a week to deal with the delivery as I was unavailable. With no pay. We had emptied the fridge on Friday the 17th morning and the person we sold our old fridge to came by and picked it up. About noon I happened to look at my email and see one from Home Depot. It stated that we would not be getting the unit and it would have to be rescheduled. Speaking to another associate from the Glendora store he was all about putting the blame solely on the manufacture. He had no idea of when they would try it again. Apparently after speaking to someone in corporate, they call this a common problem. All associates are aware that this happens , yet they conveniently fail to mention it to the consumer. Home Depot is not an appliance store. Yet, appliances have become one of, if not the main focus of Home Depot's rise to success. Lately it is not the money maker. Just maintained to keep customers thinking that way. I'm not saying you'll never receive your item. You and apparently the folks in Glendora just don't know when. I want to thank Mikey at the lighting department for going extra miles to take care of the customers. I was looking for 48" under cabinet LED lights and according to HD website, there are 4 in stock at the San Dimas store. I couldn't find any, nor the associates. As I was about to leave, Mickey showed up and asked me what I was looking for. Mickey said he could help me. Mickey pulled out a big ladder and climbed to the top of the rack. He was able to locate the inventory in a short time. HD should be proud to have such a great employee like Mickey, and Mickey deserves a promotion! read more
