First time shopper to this store. I had never stepped foot in a Home Goods store and I LOVED it!! The store was bustling with energy from all the Christmas shoppers, the store was a little messy but I loved maneuvering my way through the jungle of furniture, home decor, Christmas decorations etc.. Hello!, I am so excited! I went into Home Goods looking for a a beautiful round wood tray. I didn't see any that I liked. I didn't want it to be ornate, no handles, just streamlined to make my decorative pieces stand out. My husband knows how much I like hearts, and he found one. It's large, beautiful teak wood! Just a gorgeous piece to add to an Oak end table. I also was looking for silk wire orchid plant which was our wedding flowers. My husband said what about this one and It has two branches with movement. ? It's perfect.! I absolutely love the two pieces. Since we have big dogs, we cannot skip the dog toy aisle. Did you know TJX Companies own the stores TJMax, Marshalls and Home Goods? Well, its true and that's why you find similar clothing and products in TJMax and Marshalls. Home Goods is discounted home decor and furnishings store. I love finding things at Home Goods for items I didn't know I needed. I recently bought 2 sofa pillows to replace my 8 yr old worn out pillows. They're Bird Toile patterned and add stylish interest and color to the sofa. The pillows were $24.99 each I also bought a bottle of liquid multi- purpose cleaner that my GF said would clean off the stove beautifully. She wasn't wrong - this stove had dried oil splatter and burnt food on it. Look how clean I got my stove using the multi- purpose cleaner. The cost was $3.99 a bottle. Need another bottle for the bathrooms. Well worth it! I shop here for every occasion and holiday. You can always find good ideas/products and for the most part, reasonably priced items. Service is usually good in the Glendora store. Reason for 4 star vs 5 stars? Everything can always be improved and better. read more

The store is always fun to walk through and check things out. You could definitely find seasonal and fun things to purchase. They even have an eclectic collection of furniture, rugs, etc.. Raquel immediately had a bad demeanor towards us the minute we walked up. It felt like straight discrimination and why I say that is because we asked her if she could be nicer especially with the handling of our items she was throwing into the bags and not placing them. She also was really rude to us for no reason. We didn't even say a word other than hello. The minute we asked her if she could be kinder she stopped and just stared at us with daggers. I asked her don't look at me like that and asked for a manager. Raquel called the manager Olga. Then proceeds to move to another register leaving us high and dry while we had to wait for over 15 min for Olga. We eventually went to look for someone else to assist and found Cynthia who was amazing and had no issues helping us. We asked Cynthia can you finish our transaction and Raquel decides to pipe in saying to leave it for Olga and I told Cynthia if you need to cancel and sign in to finish let's do that. She did and as she was doing this Olga appeared we voiced our concerns but I want this addressed at the corporate level. For an employee to think they can treat customers like this and this isn't the first time we have experienced this kind of treatment. Raquel was so nice to the person she moved over to another register leaving us to assist why is that? It felt like pure discrimination she was overly nice to this other person too as if to prove she is nice when that wasn't how she treated us. HomeGoods is one of those stores full of treasures, most of the times you find just that right thing for your home. Today, I found more white Portugal dinner ware for my dinner/entertainments. This HomeGoods is not very large but it still has enough inventory of impulse buys. Things I love buying at this (and all) HomeGoods: birthday cards and gift wrap/gift bags, kitchen knick knacks (like my awesome dough scraper), and candles. Call me basic, but I love scented candles. I just can't justify spending $40+ on some soy wax. Therefore, I come to HomeGoods and get all the peony and jasmine scented ones that are $10. read more

I have always been a big fan of HomeGoods, unfortunately not all stores provide the same level of customer service. Fortunately, the one I go to has excellent customer service, great variety of artificial plants, decor, dog toys, office and home items (rugs, candles, pots, pans, shower items, food, etc.). My sister recommended for me to check out HomeGoods to look for home decors since I wanted to add some fake plants/flowers in my new home. I was able to find many fake flowers that was at a decent price and it was really pretty too. HomeGood is similar to to Ross & Marshall's whereas you can find great items at a discount. I end up placing the fake purple orchards in the living room, a small orange flowers in the bathroom, and a small blue & green flowers in the hallway. I am looking forward to come back to see what other items I can buy for my new home. It was definitely worth checking out since this place has way more selections than at Ross or Marshall's. The staff are friendly and it has tons of parking spaces since it's in a plaza. It can get really busy so it would be best to shop right when they open if you don't want to feel cramp in there. read more

This particular HomeGoods I find easier to navigate thru then other HG stores I have been to. The staff are helpful and friendly especially when it comes to moving furniture items to register. They have a vast selection of styles from modern, chic, to French Country living. They also hold furniture for 3 days if you purchase. This store does require face mask and does adhere to social distancing. Like every other business, HG only allows a certain number of customers to enter the store per CDC guidelines. Usually great stuff BUT... majority of items I am interested in have NO PRICE on them. This happens every time I visit the store. Irritating and inconvenient, to have to go to the front to find an employee just to start researching to find a price on an item (from large rugs too small things). And the times that I actually ask them to do this, not only does it take them time to find the price, but if I don't want the item... they always place the item back where it was, and don't bother to stick a price tag on it. They just did five minutes of walking around and researching to find a price, and they still don't take it to the front to put a price on it. So they don't care. They don't seem to be short staffed, so not sure what the issue is. But this has been going on for a long time. I usually end up leaving without purchasing anything. read more

ALERT: In store an hour and half and had several items in basket. Turned to look at another item and my cart stolen. Needed cart to walk. Mgrs. found another cart and I found items thrown throughout store that were in cart. When I went to check out, my cell wallet was not in pocket. Just bought cell 11/3. Store should have some kind of protection (security walking around store at holiday season). I had cell when entering store Made police report. This occurred on 11/23/2024, my 86th birthday. Many elderly people shop there especially at Xmas and they're being preyed upon. Its a snake pit.. Talked to another business owner in town the next day. I really like this location. It's ALWAYS stocked with plenty of seasonal goodies and tons of really interesting things for my house. Pleeenty of parking, pretty good customer service. Like other locations, its messy and you must try your best not to break things that are on top and under other things, but dang it if it isn't fun rummaging through all the treasures and knickknacks! This place reminds me of a Bed Bath and Beyond but a little bit more pricier.They carry a lot of similar items but the quality seems more durable than the other store.I was here with my little sister shopping for candelabras but there was no staff members to be found.When we did find one,the guy acted like he knew what we were talking about but in reality he didn't and should of took us to a staff member who would be familiar for what we were looking for. We didn't find exactly what we shopping for but the variety was decent.Besides household essentials they also carry specialty foods and toys to keep the little tikes entertained while you shop.And if you're shopping with pets,well there is something for them also.Overall this store has a little bit of everything for the interior and exterior of your home.As far as the customer service goes,the cashiers are dry and the personnel working the floor lack knowledge.It seems harsh but that's my take.Peace out Yelpers read more

This Home Goods location does not adhere to the recent mask mandate. We went there yesterday and I saw about 3 people not wearing masks. When I went to voice my concern to one of the sales associates, she told me that the store had no right to force people to wear a mask. Manager please take note: YES, it is your right as of Saturday July 17, 2021. It is a mandate by the Los Angeles County officials. The order will require masking indoors regardless of vaccination status. There is a delta variant on the rise and it is crucial that every public indoor place adhere to these health and safety rules. If your associates do not know the update on the mandatory mask rules, please hold a meeting and let them know. And BTW, one of the persons I saw not wearing a mask yesterday had to have been an elderly Senior citizen. I am quite appalled. read more

Love this store and the great priced finds but a couple weeks ago my phone was stolen from my purse while I was helping a woman reach for an item. I asked for the manager and the first thing out of her mouth was I don't have access to cameras or security. She took my info and said security would be calling me ... still 2 weeks later and no call. The fact that 95% of the customers are women gives me a bad feeling but it is what it is. While looking around for my phone an employee told me this has happened a few times before and nothing was done. Keep an eye on your stuff and do not leave your purse unattended. Wow is an understatement. First off i am going to say dont ever come here on a Monday This is my first and last time ever going to a home goods. I want to say every single employee must have been here doing Inventory. Why is this done during store hours? I couldnt even get through an aisle without having to excuse myself from an employee. There were 2 or 3 on every single aisle. I couldnt believe it. And pushing a cart through here was impossible. Not one of the employees took a step forward out of consideration so i could get through. I went in with high expectations in hopes to come home with all new decor. Ive bought many small furniture pieces here. I try and keep the house styled ahead of the trends. After I had my kitchen redone I had to change out the bar stool colors. It took almost a year to find the perfect ones I had seen rhem carry before. So be patient and go in regularly if you are looking for something special. I would rate higher but unfortunately over $10 and a stingy employee blaming customers for there mistakes. I bought a statue and it inside it had 2 barcodes, both with clearance tags. We openly told them it had two tags one was $29. And the other $22. I looked at it closely to see the description and the skus and numbers were identical. The manager lady took the lowest one and crumpled it and said it's the higher one. I said but the skus are the same. She said customers take lower tags and place them to get a lower price. BUT I found it and told them. And the numbers are the same. If I wanted to rip them off I'm sure I would do more than $10 damage. It's like really lady? Are you losing commission or something. You have an old lady with a wrinkly face that looks like it's melting and a overweight heifer that run inside once the doors open . Looking for pottery to sell . I love coming here to blow my paycheck. I don't mean to, it's just that there are so many things I needed for my house and pets that I didn't know I needed. It's always my first stop for household items since they are at a discounted price. They have some fun quirky snacks too that are useful for gift giving. The store is clean, and the staff is helpful and friendly. The only thing I don't like about this place is that I have to go the Lone Hill Shopping Center which is chaotic, but their small parking lot isn't too bad. We went to this location looking for a tummy time mat for our grandson, we could only find one, it was not in the box and extremely dirty. I asked if they would take a discount since it looked like it was dragged on the ground throughout the store. The cashier called the manager and when the manager arrived he proceeded to attempt to remove the stains with some carpet cleaner found on the counter. He made the dark stains look even worse. Bottom line no discount because the manager attempted to play a 'dry cleaner' using chemicals that he wasn't sure if it was kid safe and as a matter of fact, it ended up looking even worse. If that's the type of customer service they're providing I will purchase it elsewhere. I left with the manager still attempting to unsuccessfully clean it. No thank you! Was looking for a new down comforter and a friend told me to come here, so I did. Parking lot is huge, its kinda on its own - as far as the plaza is designed which is good for parking. So I walk in - and the store is pretty big. Walked to the area where all the bedding is at. They had pillows, sheets, bed in bags, mattress pads.....no down comforters. Disappointing since I drove all the way out here. Store is clean and lots of employees stocking the shelves. Aisles are pretty well organized. I didnt get to see what prices were, but I hear theres good deals. Although I didnt find what I was looking for, I would give em another try if Im in the market for some home items. read more

I did not have a pleasant experience at this location. There was a group of women customers waiting outside prior to store opening, blocking the entrance and talking badly about the employees. They were accusing them of hiding product and wanting to know who they were hiding it for. When the store opened they ran in and I asked a sales associate (older, shorter woman, with brown hair) what was going on. She was very vague and very dismissive. I had no idea what she said because she did not look at me while speaking. I, as well as other customers were very confused as to what was going on. I was not impressed with the lack of customer service from the sales associate and that they let this group run wild through out the store, especially when they have no idea what they say outside about them. This place is pretty nifty and over flowing with home goods haha. Yes, lots of home goods!. There is a large variety of home items from pet supplies, home decorating goods, rugs, pots and pans and lots of dinner ware. It is somewhat poorly organized though but after you walk around the store, you get the feel of where things are located. My last visit here was aimed at finding an espresso cup set. Unfortunately I did not find any. I ended up wandering off into the pet section. There was a few dog toys, treats and dog beds. I ended up purchasing a raised bowl set for my fur baby at $12. Pretty affordable, super cute and I am happy with it. I always have a great experience at this home depot. It's extremely rare for them to be out of whatever I'm looking for. Do your homework and check online to make sure what you need is in stock. Employees are always helpful and are always willing to help load heavy items. Most impressed with one of the managers who goes by Jess? He has a commanding presence in the store and from the looks of it has a great grasp of the flow of what's going on in the store. He goes out of his way to say hi when I see him always asks if I'm doing ok. He's got his finger on the pulse of this store.
