5/8/24 Redeemed this, last day today
Jennifer W.

12/7/24 Membership perks, gotta love it! Went in to redeem my FREE Christmas ornament with an in-store purchase, was too excited to finally do this, I usually miss, it's for TODAY only. I visited the location in Lakewood earlier & there were about 15 ppl in line... I turned around & said, Ah he'll nah! Checked their 55% off bin & found habanero Tajin-perfect!! It's for my co-worker who loves it, and it's $2.25-Yay! And just like that, went straight to the counter & BAM, entered my number & got my FREE "Ugly Sweater Santa" Christmas ornament worth $7.99. Ah the things that bring me so much J O Y The cashier was so nice & happy for me too. This location is starting to grow on me. I still have my $5 reward waiting for me to spend. I will be back!

Needs to be updated on the outside and bathroom inside as well. Nice selection but customer service could be warmer and inviting.

Christmas time! Gift ideas!

I am a regular customer @ World Market. I love to shop here. They have such an excellent selection of international food, wine, beer, bath and beauty products, clothing, accessories, furniture. The kitchen section too is outstanding and has best qualities of cookware, dinnerware and kitchen gadgets. The customer service are excellent and the employees are very attentive, friendly and compassionate. The store has many creative and elegant decorations all the year long as well as during the occasions and special holidays. It is my favorite place to shop in person or online. They offer rewards program for their customers and some free gifts frequently. Again, I just love World Market. I truly appreciate each and every employee in the store.

Large store has a variety of different food items available. I normally just come here for coffee syrups but love to browse through the food and kitchenware items.

For the purposes of this review, let's define some terms: (1) shop·ping /SHäpiNG/ - visiting a retail establishment with intent to look over various products and/or services with consideration given to purchasing them. (2) buy·ing /bīiNG/ - identifying an item or items at a retail establishment and purchasing the item(s). Well these two words may seem related and certainly inter-dependent, there's a distinction between them; that is, my wife enjoys shopping, and I enjoy buying. please note that this is not a value judgment... On the contrary, both of these activities have their different merits. It's just that I don't necessarily enjoy spending hours on end looking for things that I might like to purchase. Instead, I usually have a pretty good idea of what I want, and I do a modicum of research in advance to make sure the store has what I want. I then exchange currency, electronic or otherwise, for those goods and services, and quickly return to my home where I put them to use or enjoyment, as the case merits. All that to say, Cost Plus is one of those rare locations where both my bride and I can enjoy our visit, for our own reasons. Mrs. Picante and I went to the San Dimas store today to look for a specific piece of furniture-- a long narrow table to go in our kitchen. While the store did not have precisely what we were looking for, CP is always reliable for wine, small gifts, or other little decor items. Since we recently remodeled our kitchen and are on the hunt for such things, we picked up a couple of items at a good price. We were approached by two different staff members offering to assist us, and the store was clean, open floor plan-style, and well lit. We visit a different Cost Plus more frequently, but that one is almost cluttered compared to this one. So I guess, Dear Reader, one could argue my wife did a little "buying" today, and I dabbled in "shopping." ... to which I would reply that's one of the many things that makes a marriage work well for so long... and a store like Cost Plus helps facilitate. Especially now that tue kids are old enough to leave at home. :)

Walking down the aisles of world market you'll find German, Italian, Asian, Spanish , and other cultural foods that will amaze you. You'll quickly be inspired to cook your own favorite cultural cuisine or gather items for a nice outdoor picnic. There's a collective of international coffee, snacks, and dry goods to satisfy your palette or pantry.

Yup... lunch hour browsing

So glad this place reopened! It is quite honestly one of my favorite spots to come for specialty gift items. Gourmet foods, cool greeting cards, nice pottery/dishware, bath rugs and guest bath amenities. They have it all. I went in the other day as I was making my way through shops that had plant pots. Obviously they do not sell live plants only the faux type but they do carry pots... you would just need to drill holes into the bottoms for drainage. This location always have a clearance area - though very small but at least it's there. This is the last Cost Plus Imports in the IE. Respectfully Reviewed.

Great selection of pillows!

Super cute and the people who work here are really nice. It's a good spot to buy cards, quirky presents and more unique furniture pieces.

I was driving on Route 66 last week when I noticed the sign Our Vintage Garage. I was curious about it, so I looked up the business on Yelp, saw the pictures & I immediately wanted to go to this cute vintage store! I love antiques, hrifting & everything vintage! I went the very same day & spent a good hour in there looking at all of the beautiful & specially curated vintage pieces that have probably come from all over the world, considering the brand, manufacturer & time period of each piece. The prices range from very very reasonable to pricey depending on the item. There are very rare antique items in there that justify the price but also very reasonable prices on many beautiful pieces. Take your time & really look at every nook & cranny of this beautiful store to see what catches your eye or if you're looking for something in particular. I am sure you will find something you love & will display proudly in your home! Treasures & some hidden treasures are in every corner! I was sweetly greeted by the store Owner, Gina. She was so nice & helpful to me while I was looking around & we chatted for a good 15min about her store & the different vendors & pieces she sells there. She is very knowledgeable & is very helpful with any questions you may have! I also chatted with a few other sweet ladies that were shopping & it was just a really comfortable vibe in there with other thrifting gals! I really wish I would had known earlier about this store but I'm so happy I found it! I will be back again & again to support this wonderful place...it brings me joy & it's one of the best vintage stores I've been to! I'm so happy it's right down the street from my house & I can't wait to go back! I added some pics of a few treasures I bought on my trip there! Happy shopping! : )

But, I just had to make time to recognize some of the best customer service I have EVER received from ANY store I have patronized. My husband and I purchased some luxury vinyl flooring from Floor and Decor in West Covina, CA. We really didn't know what to look for and weren't educated on what was considered a quality floor. This is where we were introduced to the Design Supervisor, Tanya Jadrich, and this was like hitting the lottery. Not only was Tanya GENUINELY nice, but she was knowledgeable, patient, honest, and funny. She took her time to make sure we understood the differences between all the vinyl; she asked us questions to ensure she was guiding us in the right direction towards our goals. My goodness, she was great! So we made our decision, bought all the flooring and supporting supplies, and had our OUTSIDE contractor pick up all the materials. The contractor started installing our flooring, and we immediately noticed they weren't prepping the floor at all. We called attention to this before the 3rd plank was installed. We were basically told to shut up and let the professional do their job. Well, after the bottom part of our home was completed, the floor was squeaking, cracking, and lifting in certain areas. We were told to give the floor two weeks to settle. Well, 5 months later, we are still fighting this contractor to redo our floor. It is a hot mess. Now, back to Tanya. We reached out to Tanya, and she has gone above and beyond to assist and guide us to a resolution with this company. We understand she has no obligation to do as much as she has done, but she believes in good customer service and doesn't stop providing it EVER! Thank you, Tanya, so very much. Staff are helpful and welcoming and prices are pretty decent for the quality. I came during the holiday season and the vibes were festive and fun! I walked away with some cute and unique vintage Christmas decorations that my cats won't be able to destroy lol - as well as some soup starters that have all been absolutely delicious so far! They've been so good, in fact, that I scoured the web and found the company online so I can order from them again in the future (it's Anderson House Frontier Soups - they use minimal all natural ingredients and have a wide variety of flavors - fantastic soups!). I also snagged a dip mix and they had locally made honeys, jams, candies, and even fresh gourmet coffee beans and an antique grinder. And if you love to decorate with any rooster or chicken themed items, Shabbyology is your jam! If my kitchen wasn't already packed full of rooster-themed decor, I would've walked away with so much more. They also host occasional themed "sip and shop" nights where they offer entertainment and various drinks and nibbles while you browse. They have a digital newsletter to keep you informed of upcoming events and classes so be sure to sign up! Their location is a tad strange for the genre of store - they're found in a large industrial complex and their shop blends in among all the beige, nondescript buildings. If it wasn't for Google Maps I would've driven right past. But there's plenty of free parking. I enjoyed my visit and will definitely stop by again!

I was actually surprised at the quality of the furniture at what were, indeed, discount prices. There's lots of selection, and our salesperson, Marisol, accompanied my wife and myself to field any questions as we browsed their showroom. Being a weekend, she graciously offered us coffee or snacks that were available onsite for their clientele, as well. We found the perfect sofa with twin reclining seats and a lighted, fold down center console with phone charging USB ports and even two power outlets, AND at a reasonable price. In fact, with the option of either power or manual reclining buttons, we saved even more by choosing the manual - though the power recliners weren't that much more expensive. The sofa also came with a 5-year warranty covering workmanship defects and incidental damage protection (accidental and/or pet-related stains). When setting up the delivery particulars, we were pleased to learn that Bob's delivery team could also haul away our current sleeper sofa (which is unbelievably heavy and cumbersome) for a nominal fee - good riddance! They were able to schedule delivery in less than a week (purchased on a Sunday; delivered on the following Friday), and the delivery crew was prompt, efficient, and courteous. They set the couch up, tested all functions, and ensured the recliners were an appropriate distance from the back wall when activated. They even texted a day later to follow-up on our satisfaction with their service - and we definitely were. I'm sold on Bob's now and intend to return in the near future to purchase some inexpensive hide-a-bed futons for the loft of our cabin. They have some really great deals!
