The smallest plant like 1/4 Gallon is $2 which is at least $4 at HD.The middle size(1/2 gallon) of succulent is around $4.which is at least $7at HD.I bought a bulk around $100 at first time and get 2-3 free plants.How sweet is that??? I am so satisfied so I went back second time to finish shopping.Also recommended my neighbor to go shopping there,Everyone is happy!!!!! Whether you're a full-blown horticulturist like my BFF who enthusiastically talked shop with them for a good 20 minutes one cloudy Saturday afternoon, an apprentice level collector like me or a first time novice succulent or air plant buyer who is jumping on the Pinterest home decor bandwagon, they are happy to help you choose the right plant, give plant care advice and even gush over your lovely selection with you. You can tell they are truly passionate about their plants! They offer cacti, succulents and air plants in a variety of sizes and species, with prices starting around $2 and going to from there, depending on the size and rarity of the plant. I've personally purchased everything from a 4-inch "hen-and-chicks" for my ever-growing window collection, to a 1-gallon planter containing a 3-foot tall "Slipper Plant" for my full-sun drought-resistant garden bed. I looked around at the usual major hardware locales and did some research online where I came across P&C. At P&C, I was helped by the owner who took her time to show me what types of succulents and trees she had which were many! The colors and types of succulents she had available in many sizes were amazing. I had never seen those colors in nature. At the end of my visit, I walked away with $160 worth of succulents which included, 30 small succulents, 2 large succulents, and 2 queen palms. Weeks later, when I had to drop by the Depot, I compared prices and found the savings to be extensive. One palm tree alone would have been close to $100. A great local spot to visit. At $35/pound the answer is clear: Where there's a buyer, sellers will follow. If you recoil in horror at this price, note that worms, if properly cared for, will multiply exponentially. They lay eggs! And boy are they good for our Earth. I did wonder HOW a person weighs out worms. My worm monger said it's simple: She sells so many she knows exactly how much to give, and dirt is not included in the weight. Well there you have it...an honest worm lady. Or perhaps I am a trusting worm buyer. Either way when I looked at said pile of worms, I was quite satisfied as to the poundage. TIP: Put the worm food in a blender to make it easier for the little creatures to eat.

I was in luck and found a great variety of indoor and outdoor plants, including a rare variation too (white princess philo)! The atmosphere was calm and clean, just what I want in a garden. Matt helped me pick out some plants to suit different people's needs (i.e. whether someone was just getting into gardening, what's easier to keep alive, etc). He was very knowledgeable and super helpful. So excited to give these out as gifts and will definitely be coming back to shop for myself! Would recommend.

It's unfortunate that I need to update my review and take a couple stars away. This is kind of long…read moreoverdue. I know it's getting harder and harder to get good help or even qualified help for that matter. The last couple times I have been in the employees really are not very helpful. When you have a question about a plant, they don't really take the time to explain it or give you alternatives. That again today happened in a large way. I was looking for a particular fruit tree with a certain root stock that would work in my soil. I called and asked if they had the particular type of tree and wasn't on the root stock I was looking for? The guy told me I don't know. I said do you know what route stocks you have. His response was if you want to know what rootstocks we have and what trees are available. You need to come down here and look. To say I was shocked would be an understatement. So I looked up another nursery called and asked the gentleman there. He told me he wasn't sure if they had that root stock for that particular tree, but he would check if I could hold on a minute or two because it was in their other location across the street. He came back in about a minute and a half and told me they did have the tree not only in my root stock, but two others. He then went on to even ask why are you looking for that particular rootstock? I told him and he said OK that's a good rootstock for that but here is a better one that will take care of that issue for you in the long run. I thanked him and drove 28 minutes to their nursery so I can get outstanding service rather than going to Sunshine growers which is 15 minutes from my house. I will not be going to Sunshine growers again. I found a new place that really is focused on the customer.
