We've bought several trees from Moon Valley over the years and just came back for our fourth, this time a Camphor. What keeps us returning is the quality of the service. We weren't sure exactly what would work best in the space, and Mario was extremely helpful. I was a little concerned about where the tree needed to be planted, so Mario came by the day before installation to take a look himself. He explained why the location would work and made us feel much more comfortable moving forward. The installation itself was quick and easy, and the tree is doing great so far. After purchasing and having two Tipu trees installed a few months ago, Ramon Morales came out to check on them. He rebuilt the rings around the trees so the water could stay localized better, adjusted the supports and checked for any pruning that may have needed to be done. Ramon is very versed and knowledgeable on what needs to be done for the trees and the bush he was working on. As he was working on the Red push pistachio tree in the front yard, he was explaining everything that needed to be done. Any question I had he answered it. Ramon went to the backyard to work on the Orange Tree Bush. he explained what needs to be done. As my 94 mother was watching him trim the green oranges off the Orange Tree Bush. at first she was not very happy that this was being done. She felt it was a waste of fruit. Ramon explained to her if he does not trim these oranges now the tree will not produce the Oranges at the peak of production of the perfect orange full of juice and the best taste. As I was watching Ramon trim the orange tree bush. He knew exactly what to do and where to trim, as he was one with the orange tree bush. When he spread the Moon nursery mulch it was evenly distributed. When Ramon left, he gave me a list of what to use on the push pistachio tree along with the orange bush. So i bought some trees and plants for my yard. Paid a pretty penny for it! But the job came out amazing. That was back around thanksgiving of 2025. Ericka was the sweetest and she helped me design it. Fast forward to today. 2 of the trees i bought didn't flourish in my yard but they came out after i called them several months later and Ramon Morales came out to inspect what was going on. It mentioned he can replace them but i told him to wait like 3 months and see if they flourish. So until then it's a waiting game but the job he did was great. I will be seeing him in June and i hope the trees end up coming back to life. If they don't they promised to swap them out for new ones! Great service! read more

If you're knowledgeable about plants, you'll probably be okay here. However, if you're thinking of buying, I'd recommend doing some research on the maintenance needs of the plants you're interested in. We did a bit of homework before purchasing, but we didn't go too deep, trusting that the staff would guide us and help us choose the right plants for our space (that's on us). Unfortunately, the sales associate we spoke with seemed more focused on closing the sale than offering tailored advice. They mostly just agreed with us and went along with what we said. It felt a bit like a sales competition. Come with your questions (though I kept asking about maintenance requirements and they just kept saying "oh it shouldn't be too much work). Overall, it's worth being prepared if you want to make the most of your visit. read more

He is prompt, professional, and practices his craft with precision and commitment, to the extent that he inspires me to be as contientious as he is in nurturing the health and beauty of my investment. For example: He showed me how to trench and bury the Moon Boost beads so they would not float up and stick to the tree trunks. He dug out the dirt with his bare hands to show me how the top soil appeared dry while the bottom soil very wet and subject to overwatering. He pointed out fungus collecting on the trunks. Amazing, my wife and I were recomended to visit this location in October to purchase trees and plants for our back yard. Our experience has been wonderful, yesterday Ramon Moralas visited our home to check on our plants, he seen my wife struggling in the wind trying to tie a rope around a post to hold up a small tree and without pausing he jumped in and took over.
