I had a wonderful experience at Armstrong Garden Center! They have an amazing variety of flowers, and I picked up a few items that I'm really happy with. The whole place is so organized and clean. it's a pleasure just to walk around in. I will say, sometimes their prices are a bit higher compared to other garden centers, but it's definitely worth it for the quality. On top of that, the staff are always super welcoming, kind, and ready to help with any questions. I'll definitely be returning!

I've been coming to this Armstrong location for years. They always have a good selection of plants and trees. They also have cool cards to gift for birthdays or thank you's. One thing I would suggest for staff is to be more willing to help when one is looking for something specific. I found myself needing seeds and pots recently but no one was available and when I did find someone it seemed like he did not want to help. However, I love the atmosphere and vibe. I love that they have classical music playing in the background. I like going to Armstrong when I'm stressed or have some free time because I get a peaceful feeling with all the beautiful flowers and trees. They have a good variety if tomato and chili plants too.

This is a really nice and classy nursery! Everything is high end here. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They are a little more pricey than home depot but the service is top notch .

My cart, previously photos are after two months.

I had always glanced over this location, and on this day happened to be in the market for some soil. The lot was thriving, not too crowded. People were looking about and soon a staff member took the time to show me some of their soil options and potting mixes. I settled on the organic palm and cactus mix. It was not dry upon opening, which I'm glad it was not, so far it's proving to be a fairly good quality. There's still some leftover in the yard. I saw many plants there. They had some pink aloe vera, along with a wide selection of succulents, which was nice to see. I had my eye set on something a little bit different though, an elephant bush. I knew they had some because some of the arrangements included elephant bush. So I just had to ask!Well, to my surprise they were more than happy to give me a longer tour of the southern part of the nursery, where they had far more sizes, big and small. I got to see some gigantic ones that I never expected to encounter in larger pots. Thank you Vic! It goes without saying I was impressed. Speaking about Vic, I just wanna say, many of the staff members were welcoming and went above and beyond to give me what I wanted. I was really impressed with Vic's extensive knowledge on house plants and his ability to help me find the size of this wonderful plant. Where I feel that most sales people would push you to buy a particular one item, Vic offered me choices, which I appreciate 100%. It's safe to say that type of salesmanship demands respect, and I will probably be coming back when I'm ready. Outside of my own personal experience, I noticed they have a variety of pots and fertilizers for all your growing needs. Always nice to see an assortment of pots and accessories for the home garden folk. Furthermore, Vic recommended a fantastic product as an addition to my watering routine, which within days has brought tremendous results. The plants absolutely love it, it amazing to think that this trip offered the plant, the service, and now the reassurance that if ever needed, they will be there to help answering any questions. That's all folks. If you have a problem with your project, there is no doubt they have the personnel to assist. Was a quick trip for me, but be prepared for an assortment of plant species and offerings.

We briefly discussed what I was looking to do in my backyard, and I asked if someone could come out for a site visit to see the space and better understand the project. Anthony scheduled an appointment with me for Monday, August 10 at 11:00 AM. I texted him my address along with several inspiration photos beforehand. Unfortunately, 11:00 AM came and went with no sign of Anthony and no call or text letting me know he was running late or needed to reschedule. I reached out to him to ask if we were still on for that day and never received a response. I still haven't heard from him or anyone else from the company. I understand that schedules change and things come up, but completely missing a scheduled appointment and then not responding at all is disappointing and unprofessional. I'm giving one star because they were initially quick to respond to my inquiry, but unfortunately, the communication ended there.

The plants would fare well enough in cooler temps, but then came summer, with its perpetual dilemma with first year native plants - to water, or not to water: this is the question. Either I water and instant death or I don't water and lingering death. But amazingly, this year all of the hybrids I bought from this nursery have not just survived, but thrived. Admittedly, the copious amount of rain last year helped get the plants off to a great start. But I also credit their success to advice I received from a man working in the nursery, last name Chambers, according to my receipt. He suggested I plant the Trichostema so that the top of the plant was about an inch above the surrounding soil with a reservoir around the plant to collect water and bring it down to the plant's roots. He also told me I could water the plant weekly, even in the summer, as long as I watered before 9 a.m. And voilà, this year, I have a beautiful, small hedge of Trichostema hybrids. So thank you, Mr. Chambers and Grow Native Nursery for quality plants and advice!

Regarding the facility, it is the most organized landscape and material business I have seen. The area is sectioned off by material type and easy to navigate. In addition, they keep all of the areas clean. This time, we needed several cubic yards of rock for the final phase of our front yard landscape project. The staff members were super friendly and clearly had a background in good customer service. The ladies were so helpful and patient, while we selected what we wanted. They also made suggestions. Measuring cubic yards is not the easiest thing to do (at least for me), so I was a little concerned I might have ordered too much. The staff explained we could pickup the material in phases, and anything we did not need would be refunded to our credit card on file. Well, my measurements were slightly over what we needed, and the refund process over the phone was seamless. I highly recommend O.F. Wolfinbarger for any building or landscape material needs.
